Simply perfect, great selection of dishes from meat to fish and salad. Rarely have I eaten such juicy and beautifully seasoned meat at a Greek restaurant and the tzatziki is also a dream. You can help yourself to the dishes at the salad buffet with great, juicy salad and of course the free ouzo is also included. Dogs are only allowed in the winter garden. Be sure to reserve in advance!!! Clear recommendation to visit.

As soon as you enter, you can tell that emphasis is placed on a well-kept and clean atmosphere. The restaurant is stylishly furnished and offers a pleasant tranquility as it is a bit out of the way. The food is simply to die for! The homemade bread with tzatziki as a starter was particularly delicious – fresh and perfectly seasoned. But my highlight was definitely the gyros. I've never eaten it so juicy and flavorful. Plus the crispy fries – it really couldn’t be better. The price-performance ratio is also absolutely right here. For the quality and taste you get, the prices are more than fair. The staff are super friendly, attentive and make you feel completely comfortable. All in all, I can only say: This is the best Greek restaurant I've been to so far.

We were there again after a long time, so the renovation was new for us. It's become very nice, but now you can really hear everything, which makes it a bit loud when the restaurant is really full. Staff is generally very friendly. However, after ordering, you have to hurry up to get your side salad and eat it, as the main course comes quite quickly. Prices have risen significantly. However, the quality of the food is good and the portions are reasonable.

The food tastes very good. The service takes some getting used to. According to the motto...table here, drink, eat...pay. After the renovation, very nice - but everything is close together. The prices have now been increased a bit too outrageously. The meal time (in stages) should now be limited? If that's true, I won't go there anymore. Although I have to say that the dishes are very good. It's like a canteen and I don't want to have to gulp down my food because the next person is already waiting. That's a shame, a real shame.

The price-performance ratio is no longer correct. Small portions for a lot of money. At the gyros in Metaxa sauce we had to look for the meat. We won't eat there anymore.

I didn't know this place before, I was pleasantly surprised. The food was really tasty, the atmosphere was beautiful, and the tables weren't too crowded. The service was very attentive, always very friendly when asked and always happy to have fun! Great team, would love to come back.

There were four of us and it was our first time here. The greeting was friendly, but somehow seemed very rushed. The order was taken very quickly, and drinks and food were then served very, very quickly. Personally, I find it strange when food is served so quickly that it feels like everything was already ready. That was certainly not the case, the starters and main courses were delicious, and the service during the meal was great. Unfortunately, the selection of desserts is very limited. Up to this point there was really nothing to complain about, the employees were really attentive, always tried hard and very friendly. However, things seem to be just the same in the catering industry as in real life. If the boss intervenes in the action, things often don't get any better... The kitchen closes at 9 p.m. and the restaurant closes at 10 p.m. And these times are taken literally. At 10:05 p.m. the boss suddenly appeared at our table with the EC card machine and asked for the bill to be paid (at least EUR 220). He also told us that they wanted to get off work after all...so we paid, were escorted to the door, and bye. Ok, you can do that, but it doesn't necessarily show hospitality, especially if you take a big drink order shortly before 10 p.m. and then ask the guests to come to the door less than 10 minutes later. We didn't know that and for this reason alone we wouldn't visit the restaurant again or recommend it to others. All restaurateurs complain that fewer guests come due to the increased prices, but here they are obviously happy when the guests leave. Therefore, despite the good food and the very good service, there are only 2 stars. As the saying goes, everything messed up in the last few meters...

Table reserved, arrived and welcomed with an ouzo. Then the starter arrived quickly and was served at the salad buffet. The baked feta is recommended. The main course also came quickly. At the end there was an ouzo after paying. Everything was perfect again. The restaurant is busy as always. The next visit follows.

The three of us with dogs were turned away very unfriendly. It's nice that the owner has a good crowd, but we were rather disappointed by the harsh, hurtful command tone. There was also a note that our little dog wasn't allowed in anyway. Have fun with the unfriendliness until the customers run out.

The food is good. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed. I'll put it this way, the dog wouldn't have been as incredibly annoying as the toddlers.

I had ordered a baked pork fillet but it was two schnitzels placed on top of each other. Totally tough and dry.

Yesterday we were back in the Odysseus after a long time! The restaurant is very nicely and comfortably furnished and we received a very warm and friendly welcome from the service! A really great service crew!! The food came quickly and tasted excellent!! We were there with 4 people and everyone was thrilled!! It was a great evening !! I haven't been to such a good "Greek" for a long time!!

We are repeat offenders, but this time we were quite disappointed. I had 2 starters (11 & 13) Unfortunately, the vegetables were only fried zucchini, the eggplant was completely missing, and the feta cheese was definitely not in puff pastry, but in some solid dough. It was just a disaster in my opinion. Unfortunately it will be the last time we eat there for now. Incidentally, our friends with gyros were also disappointed - a lot of onions in the gyros. Maybe we can counteract this again?

delicious food, nice atmosphere, friendly staff, price-performance ratio is now really disappointing, after the VAT increase the new prices are anything but justified, unacceptable for us, so we won't be coming here again. A pity.

Nicht zum ersten Mal waren wir im Odysseus in Gehrden essen. Wie auch schon zuvor wurden wir wieder freundlich bedient!!! Allein die Tatsache, dass wir uns aus Hannover Linden auf den Weg nach Gehrden machen, zeigt schon, wie begeistert wir vom Restaurant Odysseus sind. Leckere Vorspeisen, zartes Fleisch und ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis überzeugen! Gern immer wieder!

It wasn't the first time we ate at Odysseus in Gehrden. As before, we received friendly service again!!! The mere fact that we are making our way to Gehrden from Hannover Linden shows how enthusiastic we are about the Odysseus restaurant. Delicious starters, tender meat and a good price-performance ratio are convincing! Gladly again and again!

Everything is just right here, the staff attentive and friendly. The food is absolutely delicious, the meat is beautifully tender, the tzatziki is great. You feel comfortable here. I can absolutely recommend it! 👍

We came back from vacation and just wanted to grab a bite to eat on the way home. It was around 5:40 p.m. I entered in a friendly manner and wished you a good evening. The waiter turned to me and asked: .....without greeting.....did you order? I said no. "How many persons?" "Two !". He asked me to come with him. “Come with me,” he probably didn’t know the word “please.” He raced through an almost empty restaurant to the back room, where only one table was occupied, and assigned me a small table for two people. There was already a couple sitting at the table next to it. The tables were pushed together and were only separated at the table by a temporary privacy screen. So the lady sat very close to me. Since it was too tight for me and all the other tables were free, I politely asked for another table. The waiter reacted very unfriendly and said briefly that everything was already reserved - front and back. (But there was no sign of this on the tables.) He turned around and left, and so did I. I have never been treated so unkindly. I talked to friends from Gehrden about this, they knew the problem with the unfriendly waiter and said that they hadn't eaten there for a long time. A pleasant atmosphere definitely requires friendly staff.

Never ever/ much extensiv / a Birthday Family Party without Services and the childeren dont get Salat /table only for 87 minutes and 100€ 2 children /parents

Ich habe sehr lecker und üppig gespeist!! Nach relativ kurzer Wartezeit kam das bestellte Essen, die Portionen sind grosszügig, das Fleisch butterzart auf den Punkt gegart. An einem recht übersichlichen Salatbuffet stellen sich die Gäste ihre Salatbeilage selbst zusammen. Das Restaurant wird gut besucht, also unbedingt vorab Plätze reservieren! Das Ambiente ist funktional.

Sehr sehr gutes Essen, Fleisch 1A, Ambiente top, Service wie immer super nett. Kann ich absolut weiterempfehlen.

Nach den Bewertungen, die wir im Vorfeld gelesen haben, waren wir sehr enttäuscht. Die Bewirtung war lieblos und Abfertigung. Das Essen war in Ordnung. Die Standard-Gerichte sind in Ordnung. Das Essen mit Soße war nicht lecker und hat metallisch, bzw., abgestanden geschmeckt.

Die Leber war lecker, das Gyros zu hell, wenig knusprig und alles andere Durchschnitt. Da gibt es bessere Griechen in der Region. Dort ist auch mein kleiner, braver Hund willkommen. Schon deshalb würde ich nicht wiederkommen.

Wir waren am 27 August zum Mittagessen mit acht Personen da das Servicepersonal sehr sehr freundlich das Essen ausgezeichnet gut mehr kann man nicht erwarten preis-Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut dieser Grieche ist nur weiter zu empfehlen auch die Kinderfreundlichkeit vom Personal ausgezeichnet

Wir kommen hier immer wieder gern hin, das Essen ist hervorragend und dir Bedienung ist nett und schnell.

Ich war dort Jahrelang Stammgast und das Personal war immer mega nett geduldig und Hilfsbereit. Das Essen war auch immer Super es war für jeden Geschmack was da. Einer der besten Griechen die ich kenne.

Die Beilagen sind ein Witz für die Preise mittlerweile. Nicht nachvollziehbar da Pommes doch echt günstig sind!!!

Das Lokal ist schön renoviert, die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett und freundlich. Das Essen schmeckt sehr lecker. Kann ich nur empfehlen.

Immer wieder mal gerne obwohl wir hauptsächlich bei Lucky sind weil odysseus ziemlich weit weg ist.ausserdem kostet ein guter Ouzo hier 4 Euro und bei Lucky gibt's n halbes kännchen umsonst!dafür das sie die Preise so erhöht haben sollten sie Sachen die sie ausmachen aber auch bei behalten .wie die Orange die man sich über das Fleisch träufelt. Das war immer schön so wie Zitrone zum Fisch gehört.dann das Salatbuffet war früher schöner mit Nudeln und vor allem Oliven und Pepperoni.dieses mal sah es wirklich minderwertig aus.so wie der Begrüßungsouzo schmeckte.
