We held our Christmas party at the Bruderbund restaurant. The restaurant Beim Bruderbund is located in the Mörsch district of Rheinstetten and has been around for over 30 years. They offer traditional German cuisine with regional and Mediterranean specialties, as well as regularly changing specials. We had made a reservation for 10-12 people in advance, and the tables were set up with small menus provided by the restaurant. What we didn't know, or rather, what we had overlooked on the website, was that the restaurant offers a reduced menu for groups of 10 or more. I brought this up with the staff member, as some of us had already chosen dishes that weren't on the reduced menu. The staff member briefly went to the kitchen to check and then returned, explaining that it was possible to prepare dishes from outside the regular menu. Another thing I noticed about the reduced menu was that it didn't list any prices, which should be added in the future. What we didn't know, or rather, what we missed on the website, was that the menu didn't include prices. The restaurant is a bit pricey, but the food was delicious. Our meal consisted of a mixed grill, kidneys in a sour sauce with Spätzle, vanilla ice cream with hot raspberries, a large apple spritzer, a large water, and a Spezi (a popular German soft drink). The service was very friendly throughout our visit, and the wait time was reasonable. In the end, payment by debit card was possible, but not directly at the table; it had to be done at the counter because the Wi-Fi there had issues with the signal strength.
