The food was very good! Service was fast and friendly!

This is our fourth time at Nurmahal. Each time it's been a truly memorable experience. No matter what time you go, the staff is super friendly and the food is absolutely delicious. Parking is always available, and the interior is especially cozy and beautifully decorated. I have nothing but positive things to say! :)

The restaurant had recently been recommended to us as very good, and we can only confirm this assessment. Certainly the best Indian restaurant in the district, and probably far beyond. We knew the place from driving past, but in a place like Jesenwang, you wouldn't expect decent Indian cuisine, and so we were never tempted. A typical Bavarian village inn—the former Huber landlord, I believe—wood-paneled and, above all, very spacious: the seats are comfortable and far enough apart that it's no problem at all to chat with the people at your table and understand every word (I'm not exactly young anymore, and noisy restaurants quickly become anathema). I recently spent three months in Pune and am therefore quite spoiled when it comes to Indian—and especially vegetarian—food, but I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Nurmahal.

Something different, but still delicious.

Very good every time! They have a lunch menu that's reasonably priced, and you can also get more rice if you need it. The flavor is really good, very balanced yet intense. Also authentic, an Indian friend told me. The staff is very attentive and friendly, and together with the open interior design, you generally feel very comfortable there.

Very good food! We come regularly and order regularly. For us the best Indian restaurant we have ever eaten at. So good that we even celebrated there after our civil wedding. The service is always very friendly and overall we are more than satisfied. Of course, some people complain about the high prices, but I am of the opinion that the portions are more than sufficient and something special, which is why the price is justified. :)

The food was excellent 😋. I ordered palak paneer and a lassan naan. There was also a small amuse-bouche in the form of three different dips and papadum. If requested, the dish could also be made spicy and you could also get a hot sauce ❤️.

Everyone at the table was very happy with their food, one was a little too spicy and was only described as "spicy" on the menu. The service was a bit lacking today, food and drinks were handed out to the front corner of the table instead of to the person who ordered them. Otherwise nothing to complain about. I will gladly come again.

Been there 3 times so far, the food was great every time, you can reorder rice at no extra cost (if you need it)... Portions are relatively large.

We have eaten here several times and this time it was again very tasty. Since I wanted to try something new, it was a thali - which I can only warmly recommend. Several small dishes at once - perfect for trying out. My companion had duck - also very tasty. Before that, a small appetizer...we were stuffed! The service was very attentive and courteous. We'd love to come back and try our hand at the extensive menu.

Food way too spicy, even though it wasn't mentioned on the menu. Other food tastes like it does without spices. Apparently the chef had a bad day. Somehow there was a negative vibe coming from the staff. Thank you.
