Notte Italiana in München

Aperitief besteld. Schotels kwamen quasi onmiddellijk. Geen tijd om aperitief uit te drinken. Pizza en pasta niet denderend . Zeer dure wijn per glas. Begrijpelijk dat prijzen nergens on- line beschikbaar zijn. Dan zouden we nooit gegaan zijn.

Wir genossen hier ein Abendessen, welches gut war und der Service war ebenfalls aufmerksam. Von den Preisen eher im oberen Segment und aus meiner Optik leicht überteuert.

Ristorante assolutamente da provare se siete a Monaco…cibo di vera cucina italiana e personale davvero super. Vi sentirete coccolati, che dite poi di Ruggiero, vero padrone di casa.. Da provare se volete mangiare cucina italiana vera!!

We zagen dit restaurant naar als eerste naar voren komen, voor goed adres. Het was voor ons om de hoek van ons hotel. We schrokken wel wat van de prijzen, maar het smaakte er ons niet minder om. We begonnen bescheiden met soep vooraf, en als hoofgerecht nam manlief rundersteak, en ik zou pasta doen, toch nog gewijzigd in gegrilde italiaanse vis. Panakotta na, en natuurlijk doppio espresso + een amaretto "to share". Ze hebben best goede gerechten, maar de prijzen zijn erg stevig. Voor een pasta en pizza's zijn de prijzen minder duur. Bediening prima door een echte Italiaan.

A Monaco con la famiglia, abbiamo cenato qui e ci siamo trovati molto bene. Pizza buona e pasta cacio pepe ottima. Nel menu pasta e pizza senza glutine. Ottima la pasta pomodoro gluten free. Continuate così!

Am ersten Abend habe ich Spagetti Carbonara gewählt. Weitgehend geschmacklose Sahnesauce die auch mit Salz und Pfeffer nicht wesentlich besser wurde. Am zweiten Abend dann eine Pizza Regina gewählt.... Ich wusste bis dahin nicht dass man eine Pizza ohne jeglichen Geschmack zubereiten kann. Die Tomatensauce wenig und von Tomatengeschmack verschont. Schinken und Pilze auch fad... Fazit teuer und enttäuschend.

Jantámos pizza na expectativa de ser uma pizza italiana bem feita. Foi dececionante! A massa da pizza era demasiado rija com muita massa de pão, alta e sem sabor. Tive que retirar as bordas da pizza. Não se conseguia comer… O recheio, o molho de tomate e o queijo eram razoáveis.

Nuestro camarero Cosimo era genial: muy amable, servicial, y dio un gran servicio. Nos sentamos al frente en una noche calurosa y disfrutamos de la gente mirando lejos de las multitudes de turistas. Sin duda volveremos.

We had a nice dinner at this restaurant. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere nice for a casual dinner. The pizza was delicious, well prepared and large portion size. The tagliatelle bolognese was average. We were hoping for a little more authentic Italian flair from the pasta dish. Otherwise, a good dinner choice if wanting Italian food.

Was in Munich for the last evening of a week long tour of factories in Europe. Have been to all the tourist traps in past visits and decided that a nice dinner alone was a great way to close it out. Vi Vadi did not disappoint. I checked a couple reviews and they were positive so walked a couple blocks over to the restaurant. Was pleasantly greeted (in Italian) and sat down at a nice candlelit table. The waiter was quick and my order for their house red (quite good) and some Tagliatelle Bolognese. The dish came out within 10 minutes and was exactly what I needed after a week of bier, schnitzel and spatzle. Had some tiramisu to top it off. Light, airy and delicious. Enough to share but not so big and heavy you’d feel it for hours. Great execution start to finish, This would be a great place for a small group, couple or solo as I was. Prices are reasonable and service was great. Will be back when I’m in the city.

My husband and I were in Munich when I celebrated my birthday and went to Vi Vida for dinner and weren’t disappointed. Delicious authentic Italian food - so much so, we went again on our last night in Munich. Very good service.

Disappointing, based on the favorable reviews. The staff is very friendly, but the food was mediocre. All dishes were over salted (except for the salad). One was too dry; one under done. The red wine was warm. We asked for it to be chilled.

We hebben hier heerlijk gegeten. Prima wijn erbij. Vriendelijk personeel. Geen 5de ster, omdat op het eind we te lang moesten wachten op de koffie. Maar dat zal vast een incident zijn. Voor heerlijk Italiaans eten in een gezellig restaurant is dit een aanrader.

I was expecting nice if unmemorable meal at a casual italian restaurant. After 10 days of dining at some pretty great restaurants in both Berlin and Munich we wanted something simple. This restaurant seemed like it would fit the bill. Based on great reviews ( still scratching my head about that one) we attempted to make a reservation for 7.15 on line. Best they would offer was 6.45. We arrived on time to an empty restaurant at 6.45 on a Friday evening. we were offered one of two tables. One next to the door and one next to the kitchen. At that point we were ready to leave but decided to deal with it. Do to the incessant beeping we became aware of the microwave in the kitchen... more on that later. My minestrone soup tasted bland and commercially made. My dining companion ordered the beef tortelini. The soups were so intolerably hot, that after burning his tongue we both realized that the soup had been re-heated in a microwave. We had to wait a good 10 minutes for the soups to cool off. It was really bad. To make matters worse. the tortellini were huge, not the small delicate dumpling expected and they were heavy with thick doughy wrappers. Our pasta dishes arrived absurdly hot as well, steaming in fact... clearly re-heated sauce in a microwave. Just awful. Neither dish was particularly good, flavors were actually unappealing. By now it was past 8pm and the restaurant that couldn't accommodate us at 7.15 was at this point less than 1/3 full. As we waited for a check, two couples arrived. One was an American tourist, the others seemed to be local. The Americans were escorted to the same table we turned down. The locals were offered a lovely corner table in the back. From start to finish, the exerience was upsetting and the food was microwaved and poorly flavored. We left around 8.30 and there were a large number of tables still empty. On a friday night in a city where we were unable to get a reservation at 2 other restaurants we tried first, that seems to be very telling. 14 dinners in Germany, this was the worst.

I went there twice during my stay in Munich in April 2023. It's a classic Italian restaurant, simple enough not extravagant. All the plates we had were more than decent. Service is nice, I definitely recommend it.

Had dinner at Vi Vadi our first night in Munich. We were hoping for an excellent Italian dinner. For our main courses we ordered the Saltimbocca alla Romana and Salmone al Limone, neither of which were worth writing home about. The Salmon was a bit too lemony. The wine was also average. Had Tiramisu for dessert and found it a bit dry. It wasn't a big disappointment but was just an average meal.

Wonderful food and excellent service. We showed up about 45 minutes before closing and they still took great care of us!

The best way to describe the offerings here is that they are adequate but don't represent any type of taste that will set it apart from many, many other Italian restaurants. Most disappointing was the pizza which had great visual appeal, but lacked any taste sensation that would have you asking for more or , for that matter, having it again. the service is fine, and the prices are reasonable. Would not go running back here on my next visit.

Dinner was so incredible we actually came here a second time! The appetizers are incredible highly recommend the buffalo mozzarella, the prosciutto Crudo and the antipasto. The minestrone soup was the perfect warm up to a cold evening. Dinner entrées that were incredible included the tagliatelle bolognese, gnocchi, and spaghetti Napoli. Remember to ask for the wine list otherwise wine by the glass is on the standard menu. The 2015 Masi Amarone is wonderful and they do not overprice their wines, markup is typically €20 per bottle. Highly recommend the Panna cotta for dessert! I strayed the second night with chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream and while it was good, it was not up to par of the panna cotta. Highly highly recommend. Service was incredible as well!
