Nori - True Taste of Asia in Hildesheim

Everything was very tasty, especially the sushi. I particularly liked that there was enough salmon served in the sushi. We will visit the store more often now.

The atmosphere here in the restaurant is really great, looks really inviting, you feel like you are somewhere in Japan or at least close to it. The food (at least the sushi, unfortunately I can't say anything about the other dishes) was beautifully prepared and very creative. (Please keep it up 👍🏼) Drinks looked very fancy and tasted very good for my taste. The only thing I didn't like is that a lot of the sushi has cream cheese and I'm not a big fan of it. I would like a few sharper ones 😁

The vegetarian sushi was really delicious, the portions weren't too big but sufficient. I didn't like the music. When making the reservation you could specify that it was a date but in the end this was not taken into account when decorating the table. I was expecting at least a candle.

My delivery order was canceled without comment. Not nice when you're hungry. Luckily there are other restaurants. The order was placed via uber eats.

Raphael made a lasting impression on our dishes! The young waiter gave the excellent meal a pleasant and fun atmosphere. Rafael always tried to read our wishes from our lips and fulfill them in full as quickly as possible. Rarely have I seen such a respectful, friendly, tidy and committed waiter. Thanks Rafael, we'll be back!

The food was fresh and tasted very good. It was beautifully presented and absolutely reasonable in terms of price. The service was very attentive and friendly. Dogs are also welcome, as a dog at the next table was treated to a treat and water. If we are in the area again, we would be happy to stop by again.

The three of us had dinner and we were all satisfied. The choice of food is plentiful. I had two different sushi. It was delicious, only the green herb butter that came with it wasn't really to my taste as it was too spicy. All in all recommended!

There were four of us there and a week later we had to do the whole thing again because it was just so good. For the food I would give at least 100 out of 5 possible stars. It's definitely not cheap but it's absolutely worth it... the meat is perfectly cooked, the sushi is perfect, the homemade drinks, the ice cream for dessert... no matter what you order everything is more than good. Only the fried noodles are somehow never fried. They always come “cooked” even though I asked them to “fry” them a little longer the second time. But the meat and the sauces and everything else is homemade and you can tell that it's made with love. Definitely try the curry soup... best

The food was as delicious as expected. The atmosphere is good, the shop is beautifully decorated, the shop looks new, dogs can enter, and there is water for the dogs. The car was parked a bit in front of the store.

Under *True Taste of Asia* I imagine culinary delicacies - but the food was really nothing special & for me it was more run-of-the-mill!! Ordered two starters - and they came Actually 10 minutes apart - not a big challenge - just a portion of seaweed salad & some sushi - the sushi was good - the seaweed salad was fresh - but had a bit too much bite for my taste. For the main course there was udon noodles with crispy chicken, the plate was hot - the food was cold - the vegetables were more than hard - all in a rather boring... In short - the sushi was okay - the rest - uhhh nope... really not again...

Very, very tasty, I could eat at Nori every day. I love the red curry and the ebi shumai. Even if it takes a little longer, the taste and quality make up for it.

We recently visited the restaurant and had mixed experiences. The first dish was Pho. Unfortunately, the typical Asian spice was missing, which made it taste more like a simple beef soup. We also ordered a mango salad and a glass noodle salad. Both were fresh, but not typically Asian. There was unnecessary iceberg lettuce in the glass noodle salad, and there was too much white cabbage in the mango salad that didn't belong there. These variations did not correspond to the typical Asian taste or idea, which was a disappointment. Overall, the food was okay, but lacked the typical Asian flavor we were hoping for. The miso soup was good, as were the sweet potatoes we ordered. Ultimately, the restaurant visit was a mixed experience where we missed the authentic Asian taste.

Highly recommended! Super friendly service, wide selection of Asian dishes, vegetarian options and an individual cocktail request was even possible. We'd love to come back!

Have ordered. The food is really excellent, unfortunately the salad was missing from the rice (red) curry dish, even though it is listed in the Lieferando system and in the website menu. Given the prices, it would be steep not to deliver this.

Were here today for the first time, but certainly not the last! 4 different starters and the main courses were also very good! Something for the palate and the eyes! Lovingly prepared and fresh ingredients! Reservation is recommended 😉!

Best sushi in Hildesheim! I can only recommend the crunchy sushi, so fresh and delicious. Also a very hospitable and attentive service. Prices absolutely reasonable. We'd love to come back!

The sushi was really outstanding, fantastic in terms of taste and appearance. The menu is quite extensive, but additional descriptions would be helpful in one place or another. The service was nice, if a tiny bit disorganized. The cutlery was missing chopsticks and a drink that was ordered with a little ice had quite a lot of ice. Unfortunately, card payment is not possible. Now that's complaining at a high level, because the food there is really excellent.

Small, fine fast food style restaurant with super tasty and comparably inexpensive pasta dishes. We had different versions of ramen and loved it, whether as a soup or fried. The sushi also looked fantastic.

Ich habe hier mit meinen Freunden meinen Geburtstag gefeiert und die große Sushi-Platte bestellt, diese kam durchweg gut an. Auch andere Gerichte stießen auf Zufriedenheit. Die Atmosphäre ist toll, wunderschönes Ambiente. Außerdem gibt es viele hausgemachte Getränke, die ebenfalls sehr lecker waren.

I personally enjoyed the food and would definitely recommend it. However, it took an extremely long time to get something; I waited over an hour for the starter soup.

We love the food here, summer rolls & ramen - all delicious & fair prices! With a bit of luck you can park on the street within walking distance, otherwise there is also a parking garage nearby. We'd love to come back! The food is more than worth the visit!

Es war richtig lecker dort. Ich war mit einer Freundin da und wir haben eine Poke Bowl und Sushi gegessen. Das Essen kam nach einer angemessenen Wartezeit, war sehr frisch und lecker! Die Preise sind auch völlig in Ordnung. Wir kommen auf jedenfall wieder!

High quality cuisine. I'm a big fan of Chrunchy Sushi. But the rest was also great. What I saw at the neighboring tables also looked very good. Due to the rather small rooms, it is advisable to make a reservation. Unfortunately, when the house is full you feel a bit cramped. But I think you can ignore that. The service was friendly. However, it was noticeable that the young man had very little experience in this area. Maybe it was because there was just a lot going on. We will be back definitely. So a clear recommendation.

Nothing special, but clean and tidy. General & Service: - We were there with six people and made reservations in advance. This Japanese restaurant exceeded my expectations! The ambience is charming and authentic, the service was first class, and the food was simply delicious. Every dish is a testament to fresh ingredients and masterful preparation. The sushi rolls were artfully presented and tasted exquisite. The diversity of the menu allowed us to try a wide range of traditional dishes and we were not disappointed. The staff were friendly, attentive and always willing to make recommendations. We were in the mood for good Japanese food and were not disappointed here! We reserved in advance and when we arrived our table was already ready - full marks for the organization! The welcome was super warm and the people here are really nice. The selection on the menu is amazing, and the food is even more so. The sushi rolls were amazing, so fresh and delicious. Can only recommend this shop if you like Japanese cuisine. 5 stars and we will definitely be back!

Food was delicious, even if the steak was still very raw. Since I like rare, that wasn't a problem, but it should at least be asked beforehand. After about an hour in which the three of us ate and drank there for over €100, we were asked to leave (while our plates weren't even empty) because "a spontaneous reservation" had come in. According to the motto “We have already earned money from you, now please clear the space” Absolutely inappropriate and rude. You are probably more of a financier there than a customer.

Sushi rice was good. The waiter was nice The restaurant is really nicely decorated. Feels good like you're in Japan :) We are satisfied

Gutes asiatisches Restaurant in der Hildesheimer Innenstadt, sehr gute Auswahl an Sushi und Co. Preis Leistung passt hier absolut. Einziger Minuspunkt war der Service, völlig neben der Spur, und unaufmerksam.

Wow, das Essen war außergewöhnlich köstlich (Ich hatte Gyoza, Ramen und das Matcha Eis). Die Bedienungen waren sehr nett und aufmerksam. Auch das Ambiente gefällt mir sehr sehr gut. Das Torii und die Bilder erinnerten mich an meine wunderschöne Japan Reise :) Das Restaurant ist von ganzem Herzen zu empfehlen. Wir freuen uns schon jetzt auf den nächsten Besuch :)

Ein sehr ambivalentes Restaurant. Einerseits sehr leckere Vorspeisen, geflammter Lachs und crispy rolls, auch die gebratenen Undonnudeln waren gut. Die Ramen allerdings unterirdisch. Der Service ist freundlich aber unaufmerksam. Getränke waren gefühlt eine halbe Stunde ausgetrunken ohne Nachfrage. Ambiente kühl ausgeleuchtet. Der Raum zu gering temperiert. Aber 3 Sterne sind es dennoch. Ich wünsche den Betreibern, dass sie nachbessern. Ansonsten ist die Konkurrenz der Sieger...

Essen war super lecker, Service war nett und freundlich, Preis war absolut angemessen. Ambiente 1 Stern Abzug weil immer wenn die eingangstür geöffnet wurde direkt der kalte Wind reinkam.

Super leckeres Essen zu guten Preisen. Freundliche Mitarbeiter nur leider war die Musik sehr laut (und auch etwas anstrengend) das man sich nicht so vernünftig unterhalten konnte. Aber alles in allem ein top Restaurant Edit: Alles wie vorher super, die Musik war nicht mehr zu laut und sehr Angenehm. Verdiente 5 Sterne
