Waren spontan mit 6 Mann zum Geschäftsessen hier, und was soll man sagen, es war super! Schon beim Betreten des Restaurants läuft einem das Wasser im Mund zusammen, so gut roch es! Der Laden war brechend voll, aber das Team hatte es voll im Griff! Es gab ne Nummer und dann durften wir quasi am Bahnsteig im Biergarten hinterm Haus mit kalten Bier auf den Tisch warten ! So konnten wir uns mit guten , hausgebrauten Bier einstimmen! Obwohl wir in der Warteschlange hinten waren gab es nach 30 Minuten nen Tisch! Das Team war sensationell, das Bier war nie leer, der Kellner echt fix und super cool drauf, jeder Wunsch wurde prompt erfüllt! Das Team aus Finnen, Polen und Deutschen war begeistert! Traditionelle , sehr gute Brauhausküche zu fairen Preisen! Das Essen kam recht schnell, alles war heiß und sehr lecker! Nen guten Absacker gab es aufs Haus! Wir kommen gern wieder! Das wird ne feste Adresse bei mir für künftige Geschäftsessen, das Ambiente ist super, das Essen top, das Bier schmeckt und ist bekömmlich, das Team war auch super! Danke für den tollen Abend!

Wir können es leider nicht 100% weiterempfehlen. Schnitzel fettig, Jägerschnitzel mit fertiger Soße, schmeckt sehr künstlich, die gleiche Soße bei Lokführer Spieß und nur 4 Kroketten. Bratkartoffeln fettig und mit Speck, was in der Beschreibung jedoch nicht mitgeteilt wird. Salat mit Hähnchenbrust (Hähnchen mit Curry Pulver zubereitet, auch nirgendwo erwähnt, für Allergiker ein no go). Dafür Lachs ok. Was wir loben können ist die nette und aufmerksame Bedienung.

Wie immer ein leckeres Essen mit netter Bedienung . Portionen sind reichlich. Obwohl es immer voll ist kommt das Essen zügig.

Nice, rustic restaurant in the Old Nordbahnhof. Cozy, partly covered outdoor terrace on the former train platform. Very tasty food and very good service despite being busy. We had beef soup, bacon pancakes and quiche each with salad, all freshly made and very tasty. Everything we could see on the tables next to us looked very tasty. Unfortunately, you can only reserve a table for groups of 8 or more people. We got there early and the space was perfect. There is a barrier-free entrance on the side and an extra disabled toilet

We visited the Nordbahnhof last night and were completely satisfied🥰 let's start with the atmosphere. The outside terrace is very large, you feel comfortable, it is a bit louder. It doesn't bother me at all, so you don't have the feeling that the table next to you is hearing every word of the conversation. The nap came in last night, which was really great. The guests had a lot of fun and played music. We continue with the food, which was really delicious. I love cordon bleu and this was really good, you could also taste cheese. Not like in other shops where you have to look for the cheese🙈🙈French fries and salad were also very good :) The café du Paris dip was really great and was recommended to us by our great waitress. I could have been tricked😂😂 only the crispy knuckle could have been a little juicier, but it didn't detract from the taste. The prices are also very reasonable. and now to the service: Lena, our waitress, did such an incredibly great job. Extremely friendly and attentive, made recommendations for food. Drinks were delivered at any time, so you were never left hanging 😎😎 great service 👍👍 the other waiters were also very friendly and attentive. We would love to come back and let Lena pamper us👍

We were there on Sunday after a visit to the Krefeld Zoo and sat in the beer garden. The charm of an old train station is still everywhere. The historic train that passed right next to the tables simply beautifully underlined it. The service staff was quick and always had a relaxed attitude. Different food for 4 people was praised in turn and was served quickly despite the beer garden being full. We were definitely not there for the last time. We have recommended this restaurant several times because the prices are absolutely reasonable. We all also enjoyed the home-brewed Schlüffken. 👍

Friday lunch, delicious food, nice service, good prices. Alc-free pilsner with Jägerschnitzel and beef salad, very tasty. Since the location offers a lot of seats, we still got a great seat. Highly recommended, we would love to come back.

The portions here are huge! The prices are also very fair and good. Taste wise it was average. The side salad and the schnitzel were good! Unfortunately the fries were left in too long for my taste and as a result they were very dry. A schnitzel with sauce would have been a better choice. The ambience is nice, but simple and there are a lot of tables, which makes it seem very cluttered. The waitress was friendly. Unfortunately we had to wait an hour for our food… but we were also a large group. All in all, I can recommend a visit!

Der Nord-Bahnhof ist Krefeld und Krefeld ist der Nordbahnhof……..alles was den Krefelder ausmacht findet man hier 😉 ….und das bei toller niederrheinischer Küche, selbstgebrautem Bier und zu moderatem Preisen…… Egal wer bei uns zu Besuch ist, ob aus Hamburg, Bayern oder Übersee wird hierher geschleppt und jeder geht mit dem Gefühl wieder kommen zu wollen.

I was here with my wife in the evening on July 17, 2024. We sat at table 73 and were served by Joachim. I have to say he did a really great job. We were greeted warmly and friendly. When ordering I was able to specify my wishes. My wife got the food first. Unfortunately, my plate went one table away by mistake. Joachim noticed this and told his colleague. He apologized for his colleague. My food came shortly afterwards, as ordered. The food was of course very tasty and the price/performance ratio was right. There was a lot going on that evening. But he always had an ear for the guests. He also thought about little things. We haven't had such good service in a long time. Please keep it up! We would come back just for him. See you next time……

With beautiful weather, we got a seat in the beer garden. The service staff were very nice and very attentive despite it being very busy. Drinks and food came quickly. Everyone is sure to find something on the memory card there. So full star rating from me.

We celebrated our wedding at Nordbahnhof Krefeld in the Sudhaus location and it was simply fantastic! We went through the location and menu suggestions with Anne in advance. Anne was super flexible and enabled us to put together our own menu (+drink selection) from the suggestions. The location is perfect and the food was excellent. The waiters were incredibly professional and looked after us and our guests very well. We can only recommend everyone to celebrate there. From A to Z everything was perfect! You can immediately tell that professionals are at work here. A huge thank you to Anne for the great organization and implementation of our wedding and thank you for the excellent hospitality!

In the Krefeld style, “bott”, but nice I almost forgot about the good beer, made in-house, Schlüffken. We love coming here, whether inside in a rustic atmosphere or nice and cozy outside (and still covered).

Former train station that has been converted into a rustic restaurant with its own brewery. Relatively open and therefore noisy rooms, which is good for the atmosphere: loud, lively, atmospheric. It's all charming. If you're looking for peace and quiet, you have to go somewhere else. Rustic dishes. Good midfield in terms of taste. Sometimes that's exactly what you want: rustic, hearty and no-frills at very reasonable prices. Service also worked well. Plus a freshly tapped Alt. And everything is fine :-)

The Nordbahnhof is nothing less than a solid gastronomic institution in Krefeld. The friendly restaurant with local and national dishes from good home cooking is correspondingly popular and always well attended. Even though I of course have my favorites on the traditional menu, I have never been wrong and have always eaten very well! I am and will happily remain a regular guest.

We were there for a baptism. The food was super good. The Nordbahnhof consists of several locations. Therefore I can only talk about the one that was right next to the parking lot. Super nice room with railway romance, nice counter, small buffet room. We recommend. Oh yes, the service staff was really very friendly.

I had a great experience in Nordbahnhof restaurant, which also offers southern German specialties. The food was delicious, I particularly loved the crispy knuckle. The skin color was light, which isn't supposed to be the case in Bavaria, and I wasn't impressed with it at first, but after trying it out, I was very happy with my order. Atmosphere was excellent and staff were helpful. Update: we went again and had a great time again! Good atmosphere outside and delicious food.

Absolutely amazing place. Real authentic regional food with an amazing staff. Prices are more than reasonable. I’ve had a number of dishes there like Wiener schnitzel, ribs, pork knuckle and tartare. It is a very very veeery busy place but the staff is paying attention and definitely doing their best! P.S. if you can’t finish your massive portion they will pack it for takeaway

For the first time on a weekday at lunchtime, the three of us were in the train station! We were surprised at how full it was, even though there were hardly any free tables in two large dining rooms! We had very friendly and nice service and we decided on pork knuckle sauerkraut, which we saw at the neighboring table! The knuckle was brilliant, the crust was crispy and I ate it completely for the first time and the meat was really tender, you only needed a fork! It's one of the top 3 of my knuckle experiences, maybe even the best! Until next time, the schnitzel looked great too! That was a great discovery - there is also a large beer garden! German, and not just Rhenish, but also Bavarian cuisine. Beautiful and interesting location. The food is good and the price is reasonable. The locally brewed beer goes well with it. Unfortunately, so overwhelmed by our own success that the service reached its limits and we had to wait outside for a few minutes for our reserved table - even on a Monday.

The food was ok. The baked potato was clearly from the day before and with the spare ribs it would have been better if the guests themselves had been able to choose how much sauce they could tolerate. They were therefore quite over-seasoned and one had the feeling that a bad product had to be hidden under sauce. A few more vegetarian options would also be good for the menu. The service was top notch and very attentive. The seating is very uncomfortable. We had the feeling that we had to leave quickly.

One of the most beautiful restaurants in Krefeld

A lovely locale in Krefeld. Although the restaurant was extremely busy when we visited they found us a lovely table outside and the service was extremely fast and friendly. The menu has a good selection of classic German dishes, all cooked perfectly, plus daily specials. In Summer you can sit outside, in Winter cosy and warm inside. Great value German cuisine.

Hello, I don't know why I didn't rate the “Nordbahnhof Krefeld” earlier. I've been a guest there for 20 years. The Nordbahnhof is a really great, unusual inn with a great atmosphere. Really all of the dishes on the menu and also on the daily menu or seasonal menu are very, very tasty. I've been eating some of the "classics" (e.g. the locomotive driver skewer / picture 1) for 20 years - and I still like them. It's great that they've been brewing their own beer for a few years now. I really enjoy drinking Schlüffken-Pils. In addition, all the employees are very friendly/sympathetic and attentive. If I could, I would give the NBH 6 stars. I'm happy to remain a regular guest. We were there yesterday at 5:30 p.m., it was already full, we got a great spot in the winter garden with a view of the rustic/antique train tracks. The ambience is beautiful and unique, the service was also rustic and effective but that was just to our taste 😉👌🏻 The food tasted perfect and the portion was outstanding! Daily specials were recommended and also found to be super delicious!!! Toilet facility with a few steps to access and could also be cleaner, we turn a blind eye here due to the general rustic furnishings :) A top brewery in Krefeld that I recommend everyone to visit, also perfect for large celebrations. Parking lot right next door :) We will be back !
