I’ve eaten biang biang noodles several times in different restaurants, and I just love them. I found them in this place to be average - the dish was fine in general, but the beef was not as tender as I’m used to have it, the sauce wasn’t as seasoned and rich in flavours as I like it and the noodles themselves were fine, but maybe a tad too hard. The service was quite quick.

It takes a very long time and is uncomfortable. But the food is delicious.

I'm speechless. I saw a mouse running around right in the preparation area, where our food was cooked. This is a massive health risk and absolutely unacceptable. We left the restaurant immediately. The health department should urgently inspect this place!

Got the beef ramen and it was super yummy. The broth was super rich, the beef tender and the noodles bouncy. Portion was also quite filling so that’s a plus.

The selection is large and the food is delicious

The noodle is not good there. It’s really not tasty.We ordered tofu and beef noodles. They were plain,without flavor.Although it’s look like a Chinese noodle restaurant, it doesn’t taste like. It’s terrible. All internal decorations are Japanese animation and Movies, but not selling Japanese noodles. It is just not good for both Chinese and Japanese.

Access to the restroom is already a challenge: you have to go down a narrow and steep corridor, which is very inconvenient if you're in a hurry. Once at the bottom, only one of the two available toilets is open, which will quickly lead to problems when it's busy. You also have to walk past tables occupied by guests. The difficulties don't end there: the light switch is located outside the cubicle, which can be confusing. When trying to lock the cubicle, it turns out that this is only possible using the outer door in front of the sink. This door and the entire floor area were quite dirty and wet. The hygiene leaves much to be desired: there was no toilet paper, the mirror was quite grimy, and there were no paper towels, only an unhygienic hand dryer. The condition of the facility urgently requires regular maintenance.

This is the most disgusting place on planet Earth: no service, terrible staff, awful food, exorbitant prices, and a broken toilet! Rating: 0

I would have liked to give it a 5-star rating because the food tasted really good. But I felt there wasn't enough side dish or meat besides the pasta... otherwise, it was really great.

Dog food could easily be marketed as gourmet food; it would probably be better and cheaper. Not recommended.

Small but so delicious! Unfortunately, I couldn't finish my pasta because we had to leave quickly, but luckily I was able to have it taken away. I still think about those noodles today, even though it's been almost a year since my visit.

Disgusting, a rancid dump. The toilets were gruesome. The food wasn't properly heated. The pasta was awful. Definitely not recommended. I ordered the same dish three times... Each plate looked different.

Never again – an absolute disaster! What a disappointment. This "noodle restaurant" is a bad joke. The noodles were half-cooked and inedible – honestly, I wonder if anyone there even knows how to cook. The restrooms were disgusting – so unkempt that you feel like disinfecting yourself afterward. And then there are the prices! Outrageously expensive for something that doesn't even come close to restaurant quality. To top it all off, you don't even get table service – at THOSE prices, you seriously have to do everything yourself. It's insane. You pay like you're at a fancy restaurant and get the experience of a soulless fast-food joint. Save yourself time, money, and frustration – there are plenty of other options!

Very tasty, good spiciness, and the meat tastes great.

It was tasty. But it wasn't spicy. Lots of Asians and people from other countries in the shop, also tradespeople – an interesting mix.

If you're looking for noodles, I think this is the perfect place. The restaurant is inexpensive with generous portions. It's not a high-end restaurant because the waiter doesn't come to serve you, but you'll forget that detail once you taste the delicious flavors this place has to offer. I got the beef braised ramen soup. The visual is very appealling. Nice beefy looking red to the broth and the aroma has a light earthy smell. The beef is very tender and well seasoned. The noodles are very fresh. Well worth the trip from Texas

Good noodle dish. Good service.

The biang biang was very well prepared. The meat was braised as soft as butter. But who puts parsley on a Chinese dish (confusing)?! I ordered an egg, but only got half. A bit too expensive for €1.80! The portion was a good size. The cucumber salad was, to be honest, just average. Gerolsteiner Cola is also really wild. No hate, but not nice. The ramen just wasn't ramen; you'd be better off going to Takumi. Overall, a solid 3/5.

The food and the bubble tea were truly delicious. Unfortunately, the portions were relatively small, as you can probably tell from the photo. We only got two thin pieces of gyoza and two small pieces of karaage. Without the large bubble tea, we probably wouldn't have been full.

Very delicious noodles. Had the beef ramen and beef biang biang noodles. You have to order at the till then you get a buzzer so you can collect your food when it’s ready. Very fast service. The beef was so tender and soft and the noodles were very flavoursome. It was so good we came here twice! Would definitely recommend if you are in the area

Super nice freshly made noodles.

We ate at NOODLE FAN today and were very satisfied. It's a small shop with a modern-day feel. You order at the counter, and you pick up your food when the buzzer goes off. The noodles are the highlight. They have a good consistency, although I'm sure not everyone likes that. The meat and sauce were also delicious. Unfortunately, it wasn't spicy for me. There was only vinegar and soy sauce on the table, so nothing to spice it up. There was a decent amount of meat on the plate, and the portion was quite filling. We both had homemade iced teas, although the passion fruit was way too sweet for us. Peach, on the other hand, was great. As for the ambiance, the tables were a bit dirty, but OK. Otherwise, the shop was fine. It wouldn't be my choice for a romantic first date, though. We still recommend it.

The chicken tasted old and like it had been prepared four days ago. There were no vegetables except for a small piece of bok choy and 2-3 rings of spring onion. The soup was also too greasy for me. The toilet was extremely dirty and desperately needs a thorough cleaning—I've never seen such dirty walls and doors in a restaurant (see pictures).

Nice location near Köln hbf , near Köln cathedral. Aesthetic place to eat noodle. I ordered spicy beef noodle without the soup, but actually it wasn’t spicy at all for me 😂 that’s why I requested extra chili oil. The food was delicious but isn’t really special to me,I’ve tried hand pulled noodles that is more delicious than this so. Btw the beef was so tender 🫶🏽✨

Better to open the Tom Yum bag at home, the noodles were barely cooked through and I couldn't finish them. There was practically no vegetables. Handmade isn't everything.

Very bad. The noodles smelled toxic, and the broth tasted like water and vegetable broth from the supermarket. Pulled noodles are actually a good concept, but this chain in particular is cutting corners and ruining it for everyone. Never again!

Very nice place with a pleasant atmosphere. The meal unexpectedly included shrimp, but maybe that was our fault. Otherwise, the food was very good.

Great experience at Noodle Fun! The noodles, freshly pulled before our eyes, are a real highlight. We had the Biang Biang version – super flavorful, with buttery-tender beef and a pleasant spiciness. The portion with scampi was also top-notch. Authentic, delicious, and highly recommended! Second visit: this time we had one with tofu and shiitake mushrooms, the other with gyoza and karaage. Both very tasty.

The taste was average, the noodle soup tasted like soy sauce. The environment was decent, and the service was good.

Portion size is very small, especially with the meat. Three tiny pieces of chicken, two gyoza and a hand full of noodles $15-17 euro. 3 stars because it was flavorful.

Really nice restaurant for traditional Taiwanese beef noodles, hand & fresh made. Rich beef sauce and tender meat, I highly recommend you to order this ! Spice level is fine, Tabasco spiciness level is equal to the highest spiciness here. Close to a touristic zone, prices & quality have to be highlighted :)

We were in Cologne for 3 days and we came here twice! Could have gone for a third time - it was soooo good. Highly recommend to try if you are in the area, the biang biang noodles and chicken dumplings were absolutely delicious ❤️

A great shop to have some very good hand made noodles. The funny part is that you actually see the cook making the noodles. The dish was full of flavour, large and colourful. The staff was great as well as the service. The guy that helped us spoke several languages and I saw him helping out a French couple... in French. Further they created a nice atmosphere with a wallpaper showing a collection of Asian movies.

I liked that there were vegan options. You order at the counter and get a beeper so you can wait at a table. We also ordered bubble ice tea, but had to pay 2 times (card&cash), I guess because the POS system of the drinks is different from the food. We chose a table in the back corner next to the stairs which didn’t feel as clean as sitting in the front, however the noise in the front was bad due to it being the end of the day after the big Pride parade at the last day of Pride. I think it would be less dirty and chaotic if we came on a regular day. The food was ready quickly. I ordered the vegan noodles with tofu (no soup) and my partner a dish with chicken with soup. The restaurant is known for their hand pulled noodles. However we found the noodles a bit too chewy for our liking. Also the soup and the sauces were too intense in our opinion. Furthermore, we would have preferred more vegetables than just one tiny piece of pakchoy. Thankfully we ordered a side dish with wakame, kimchi and cucumber.

Very tasty bubble tea and a great price! The two girls (Naz and LaraSu) were super friendly waitresses.

My experience at this restaurant was absolutely amazing!!! I believe it is completely underrated! The food was delicious and we got the opportunity to see the noodles being made. If you have kids you might understand the current craze with bubble tea, and my kids absolutely loved the ones on offer at the shop, especially brown sugar tea. If you are a tourist it will be very helpful to know that the staff speak fluent English , and they are the sweetest and most polite waiters I have ever met. The atmosphere was charming and the food was authentic. My husband and I really enjoyed the black bean sauce ho fun noodles, they were delicious and not greasy like a lot of places. 🇩🇪🇩🇪🇩🇪🧋🧋🧋🍜🍜🍜👍👍👍

We ordered, so I can't comment on the service or the atmosphere. The food, however, wasn't tasty at all and was way overpriced. Plus, I have a stomach ache now. I occasionally make biang biang at home. It's a super simple dish from China that's among the cheapest there. In Shanghai, a huge bowl of biang biang, which was really good, cost me about €3.

Delicious handmade wide ramen noodles with many options of protein. Can be tailored non-spicy or spicy. Also good cold bubble tea for a hot summer day! Good value and would visit again.

Unfortunately, the Bian Bian noodles don't taste very authentic. Once you've eaten at Bian Bian in Xi'an, the food is unfortunately no longer as good or authentic. The staff, however, is very friendly.

Food is super good!!! Kind of a self service place tho, you go to order and pick up your food and pay right away, then bring it to your table. The hand pulled noodles are so thick and chewy though I really love them!! You can watch them make the noodles too which is really fun.

Not excellent, but good to eat. The ramen sauce or pasta with meat were like they were just doused with soy sauce diluted with water. The food is normal, the price is appropriate, but it didn't leave a strong impression. It seemed like we weren't full, like it was empty. It's okay for a quick bite. And the staff is friendly and polite. You can order your food at the counter yourself.

The shop looks very nice and is beautifully decorated. The atmosphere is pleasant, and we were warmly welcomed, even though it was already late. The food was very rich and flavorful. My boyfriend had the beef noodles, and I had the vegan version with delicious braised tofu. The portions were large and beautifully presented! A very nice little snack bar with an open kitchen. You can watch the hand-pulled noodles being prepared. Flavorful biang biang and hearty ramen. The separate cash registers for food and drinks are a nuisance. The prices are just about right.

Extremely overrated. Chicken was tough. Noodles were just dough. Unfortunately, I only gave it a 3/5 in terms of taste.

Absolutely loved this hidden gem of a noodle spot! Tucked away just a short walk from the main attractions, the Cologne Dom, this place is truly underrated. The service is top-notch—friendly staff who speaks fluent English, which made ordering super easy. We tried the Biang Biang noodles—both the regular and the spicy versions. While both were delicious, the original one stood out with a more delightful and well-rounded flavor. The spicy version wasn’t overwhelmingly hot—it had a gentle tingle that still let you enjoy the full taste of the dish. The noodles themselves were wonderfully chewy and paired with generous portions of tender, melt-in-your-mouth beef. Every bite was satisfying and full of flavor. The place is cozy and cute, though admittedly a bit small—probably the only downside, because everything else was on point. They also serve bubble tea, and we tried the Blue Ocean flavor. It was decent—I'd give it a 4/5—but for the price (about the same as a bottle of soda), it’s definitely worth it. All in all, this noodle fan restaurant deserves way more hype. A solid 5/5 for the food and experience. We’ll definitely be back!

I was there 3 times. The noodles are okay, but sometimes not well cooked and sticking together. Seasoning is good. In the lunch time no place to sit, bear in mind. A bit expensive though

The atmosphere these days is rather eerie. The restaurant has reached the point where they don't care about anything. There's a constant, loud, annoying noise from a fan or something. The waitress was polite, but the owner and chef have no skills whatsoever. I ate later than a customer who arrived later. Maybe because he was the same annoying Chinese guy as the chef. I'd recommend the waitress quit. She could be working somewhere a thousand times better. She has all the skills. The bubble tea shop is closed, which has also spoiled the atmosphere.

Noodle Fan in Cologne is a great find for those who love handmade noodles. I had the Biang Biang with shrimp and it was great: perfect consistency, intense flavor and a really tough level of spiciness, so be careful if you can't handle this type of food. The place is casual, with an open kitchen that makes everything more engaging. The staff is friendly and the service is fast, even when the place is full. A few details could be improved, such as the general cleanliness, but overall a great choice if you want a tasty and no-frills meal in the city center without spending a lot and avoiding the usual low-quality fast food.

Noodles were great however sauce was too salty. Service was mediocre. It would have been a better experience if there were more drink offerings and sides. I wouldn’t recommend.
