Super delicious hand-pulled noodles. The food was really great and the price was very reasonable for the location. Unfortunately, I didn't really like the atmosphere there. But if that's not the first priority, then great 👍🏻

Excellent food- I had the beef ramen while my girlfriend had the tofu Biang Biang- flavors of both were excellent and portions were filling. Wish every meal could be this efficient and delicious. Your friends @DrivingWithFate

Absolutely loved this hidden gem of a noodle spot! Tucked away just a short walk from the main attractions, the Cologne Dom, this place is truly underrated. The service is top-notch—friendly staff who speaks fluent English, which made ordering super easy. We tried the Biang Biang noodles—both the regular and the spicy versions. While both were delicious, the original one stood out with a more delightful and well-rounded flavor. The spicy version wasn’t overwhelmingly hot—it had a gentle tingle that still let you enjoy the full taste of the dish. The noodles themselves were wonderfully chewy and paired with generous portions of tender, melt-in-your-mouth beef. Every bite was satisfying and full of flavor. The place is cozy and cute, though admittedly a bit small—probably the only downside, because everything else was on point. They also serve bubble tea, and we tried the Blue Ocean flavor. It was decent—I'd give it a 4/5—but for the price (about the same as a bottle of soda), it’s definitely worth it. All in all, this noodle fan restaurant deserves way more hype. A solid 5/5 for the food and experience. We’ll definitely be back!

I was there 3 times. The noodles are okay, but sometimes not well cooked and sticking together. Seasoning is good. In the lunch time no place to sit, bear in mind. A bit expensive though

The atmosphere these days is rather eerie. The restaurant has reached the point where they don't care about anything. There's a constant, loud, annoying noise from a fan or something. The waitress was polite, but the owner and chef have no skills whatsoever. I ate later than a customer who arrived later. Maybe because he was the same annoying Chinese guy as the chef. I'd recommend the waitress quit. She could be working somewhere a thousand times better. She has all the skills. The bubble tea shop is closed, which has also spoiled the atmosphere.

Noodle Fan in Cologne is a great find for those who love handmade noodles. I had the Biang Biang with shrimp and it was great: perfect consistency, intense flavor and a really tough level of spiciness, so be careful if you can't handle this type of food. The place is casual, with an open kitchen that makes everything more engaging. The staff is friendly and the service is fast, even when the place is full. A few details could be improved, such as the general cleanliness, but overall a great choice if you want a tasty and no-frills meal in the city center without spending a lot and avoiding the usual low-quality fast food.

Noodles were great however sauce was too salty. Service was mediocre. It would have been a better experience if there were more drink offerings and sides. I wouldn’t recommend.

Super delicious handmade noodles.

The boss lady is very efficient and friendly to people with decision-making difficulties. You can choose soup noodles or mixed noodles, spicy or non-spicy, beef or chicken. The pulled noodles are very chewy, and the dry chili is very fragrant in the soup. It is not spicy, but it is a bit throat-burning.

It was normal experience not fancy. Portion was big enough but reasonable to the high price. That was at the other branch not the one closer to the Dom.

From the inside it is very well furnished, you also feel very comfortable, the service is also first class and the food is also extremely good. You can taste the noodles that they are homemade, the meat is also very tender and all in all it is really first class

If you don't value ambience, are keen to experiment and want more than just a small snack, this is the place for you. Watching the chef make pasta is exciting. Food was ready within 5 minutes and tasted delicious.

It's a great place to sit down and enjoy alone time. It was fun to try the delicious noodles and watch people make handmade ramen.

Incredibly delicious noodles! If you arrive at the main station for a trip to Cologne and look at the cathedral, you will be here within 2 minutes and can treat yourself to these delicious noodles. Service top, food top, everything top 😊

The noodles are really delicious, but the seasoning is a bit salty. Is it like mixing in a lot of seasoning like jelly and seasoning without diluting it? There's a lot of meat and it's not bad.

Hahaha.. not disappointed! It's not nice, but it's really meant in a positive way. Had spicy ramen with beef. Broth still has the right consistency, meaty, hearty. Noodles fresh and slightly thicker, with a slightly pleasant crunchy consistency. Service asked directly whether I was familiar with the map and quickly and friendly explained the major differences. I'll spare you a picture. There were noodles with beef in soup ;)

The biang biang noodles are really well made and the flavour was on point.

Unpleasant/unfriendly. I came to this restaurant on the first date because a friend recommended it to me. The moment we entered the restaurant the waitress came up to us and just stared at us. I was eager and excited to try the food with my date and asked the waitress nicely if we could choose a seat or if one would be assigned to us. The waitress rudely says "First say hello, first how are you" in an arrogant manner. This almost ruined our mood, but we decided not to take it to heart. The food was great, but be aware that you may feel unwelcome!

The waitress explained the concept very well. We got the chicken biang biang ramen soup (the chicken was really dry but there was lots of it) and the tofu & shitake biang biang noodle dish and that one was definitely the superior choice! We only wish that there had been a bit more veggies - one leaf of bok choi seems insufficient for the price point. But very good food and the sauce & broth were both spicy and well balanced. Would recommend!

Nice cozy place, I got beef ramen for myself, but the girl liked the chicken one, the beef one was more to her taste, the noodles were made by hand and very tasty, if you don’t take into account the prices, I recommend it

The food was amazing, really tasty and the portions were good. But the service was SO DISAPPOINTING. The waitresses were just chatting with each other, the tables were super dirty and nobody cared to clean them. For my ramen I asked without spring Onions and they brought it with them. It's sad to see a place with delicious food and a lot of potential being brought down by the service level.

Food was OK. The meat was very dry and overall the food was very fatty.

The cucumber salad was very good. The noodles were soft & a good texture, however, the flavour in the broth they were cooked in was very overpowering & unpleasant to eat. The meat was very tough too. We couldn’t finish our meal. We won’t be back unfortunately…

The noodles are hand made and are so delicious. I would a hundred percent recommend, a very cosy place. The portions are large, so do the beef and noodle amount, therefore we are very full right now hahahah The staff are very helpful and friendly, the prices are reasonable. The restaurant is definitely authentic, give it a try. They also have vegetarian/vegan options so don’t hesitate!

Very easily accessible spot. As an asian, I love the food here, made painstakingly by a friendly-looking chinese uncle. Food way great as well with good portions and very very high quality noodles. Food came fast too!

Fantastic food and best kimchi! Super friendly service and is right next to the cathedral. As far as we can tell, very authentic cuisine. PS: We were already snacking on the kimchi in the picture and just couldn't hold back.

Visited this restaurant so many times, also brought some friends and family here, and everyone enjoyed it so much. The noodles taste fantastic, really authentic hand pulled noodles. Cashiers that taking orders always capable in speaking English that’s a plus point. Would definitely always coming back. Room for improvement: Few times order without spring onions, but this request always got ignored. Still spring onions on my bowl 😅

Came when the place was packed, but the (only) waitress did a good job trying to handle it. Didn't clean the table after taking away the dishes of the previous guests though. The noodles themselves were decent! With regards to the seasoning, I've had better. Still tasty though. My main complaint is the chicken. Dry, chewy, bad taste. Would've preferred tofu over this chicken.

Have eaten the Fan Beef Noodles there a few times and find them delicious!! Highly recommended and you can taste that the pasta is homemade!

Ordered a noodle with Tofu, which is a sponge-like mess, noodles are handmade dough but seem half cooked due to the hustle and bustle, the container costs €13.99 and I can throw everything away. Waste of money! Not recommended

Really nice hand pulled noodle and it is ver delicious. The meat is halal and is confirmed by the owner. One of the worker wear hijab as well.

The best Biang Biang in the city!

The meats chicken and beef are properly cooked, soft and moist, very good. However, the broth is bland, not a proper ramen umami taste. The spicy version is not spicy. The noodle need a beet of chewiness. The shocking parts, toilet cost 1€.

I found the food very tasty and it was a large portion. I found a lot of meat and the noodles with the broth tasted harmonious. Staff very nice. The ambience is more of a snack bar style but that doesn't bother me if the food is good. Men's toilet is not very good.

The food is really not good and the 5 star reviews are influenced by the €5 vouchers. The staff know how bad the food is and don't ask about the taste or maybe they don't feel like giving good service anymore.

So the most positive thing is definitely the friendly and fast service. The ambience is not really nice. It's very small, not really tidy. The food was okay, but didn't blow me away. Personally, I found the noodles to be too thick and hard on the inside.

I have always wanted to go to this restaurant. This time I finally took my old father who loves pasta to try Biang Biang beef noodles. Chef Bao in the restaurant was very kind to us Chinese and added enough meat for us. This is what I did in Cologne The best noodles I have ever had, fresh, chewy, and lots of beef. Will visit often in the future.

The food was absolutely delicious and even a “normal” portion fills you up quite a bit. I ate on site and the service is really fast! Totally friendly staff and the atmosphere was relaxed and celebratory at the same time. The prices are also very fair. Definitely recommended!

Sauce:9/10 Noodles: 9/10 Beef: 7.5/10 I ordered the BIANG BINAG BEEF Noodles.Beef was soft but was a bit dry for me.The serving was generous. I enjoyed the sauce and the handmade noodles.Reminded me of LEDU Chineses street food in Bonn. Hoping to try the ramend next time. I hope that they could give you the option to like add or choose the sauce or some seasonings on your table.

Friendly and quick service. Food was delicious and freshly made. The pasta was made fresh to order. They tasted good and were well seasoned. Will definitely come back when we are in Cologne.

The red-haired waitress chatters so loudly that you have no peace while eating.

The food was inedible and we left the food after 2.3 bites. The taste was horrible and the dish was mostly oil. When we pointed this out to the waitress, he just said he would pass it on. No discount, no refund. The music is so loud that you can hardly hear your own words. We go home with a stomach ache. Not recommended.

Spicy Ramen Shrimp and Noodle Shrimp were ordered. The noodle shrimp just tasted like sour soy sauce, bad. The Spicy Ramen is not spicy enough, even if the color suggests otherwise. No, unfortunately I can't recommend the store. The service was nice, but that was it. It's a shame, but we won't be coming back here.

Went there to have a late lunch around 4pm. It is very cool to see the noodles being prepared. Got the beef ramen, the broth was tasty but the meat and was very dry and the spring onions were hard and dry. Maybe the ingredients were not good because I went there outside the usual lunch hours, I might try to go again to be sure.

I ate at Noodle Fanning in Cologne because the staff at the Thai restaurant next door was unfortunately unfriendly. What started as a coincidence turned out to be a real stroke of luck! The food at Noodle Fanning was incredibly good – truly the best meal I had in Cologne. Absolute recommendation!
