Superb experience. Enjoyed African delicatessen in a nice ambience

The dishes are very authentic. Among other things, there was fufu - the traditional side dish in West African countries - to choose from different roots with different soups (meat/fish/vegetarian). The atmosphere was homely, we felt a bit like we were in a suburb of Lagos. We especially enjoyed the spicy tripe. However, you should bring your time - since the boss cooks and waits all by himself, it may take longer until your order is served. When we were there, the restaurant wasn't that full and we waited about 2 hours for our main course - hence a star deduction. But the price-performance ratio is okay, the food portions are appropriate!

We waited a bit longer but the family is very friendly and food was excellent. They need to renovate the place&print a better Menu to fit their Tasty food.

The reviews on bad service is being put lightly. This restaurant is only in business cos there seems to be no competition. Worst customer service I’ve had to experience in my life from direct owners of a business. Visited Frankfurt with a friend and needed to eat, google popped this restaurant, got there, the environment wasn’t welcoming, placed our order and we were told it won’t take long. After about 30mins some other customers came in and 15mins later, they were being served the same meal we ordered. The only explanation the server (who is apparently the co-owner and a man) gave was “I don’t know if you leave in Frankfurt but it’s ok if you want you can go”….. this is after 45mins of wasting our time 😤😤…… of course we left. So sad

The food could be better. Hmm..fair enough, atleast we have someone to cook for us here in Frankfurt. She is doing her best. However, the meals requires alot alot of improvements compared to others. The Pounded yam she served can’t be pounded yam. That thing was mixed with something else. It’s scary to not know what else you are eating when you had ordered a particular meal. I had to throw them away. Overall, I just think they can do better. People should be getting what they paid for and what they ordered. I wish them all the best. Thank you.

First time here eating, as one of my soldiers, who has some full fledged african blood in him invited me out. First time trying the food, especially the fufu, and it was quite good! The environment was nice, music, and the owner was professional and courteous.

Amazing home cooked Nigerian food served with love. The owner is amazing and has stories for days. The Jollof Rice made my Kenyan friend admit it’s better than Pilau. We will definitely come back when we’re in Frankfurt and we want to boost our mood.

Great family run establishment, with good authentic honest home cooked food. In addition, it’s the only place in Frankfurt where you’ll find Nigerian Guinness. Above all the only Authentic Nigerian restaurant experience in Frankfurt.

I loved it here. Please keep serving the same good food. It was fresh and it reminded me of someone dear to me. I needed some spice in my life after being in Würzburg but this place brought my tastebuds back to life. My African and Mayan ancestors thank you.

I wish there was a zero star… the woman’s attitude was the worse in this world.. I wanted to ruin her with my words but i remembered she is my mothers age.. if this was a white restaurant I would have blamed racism that’s how awful it was… I waited to hours for my order which never came and I left being insulted… the place is also very very dirty and disorganised…

so for take away i think its ok, reasonable prices and the taste is ok i think it laks a bit of flavour but its still good for the price and its home made, its a lovely polite man with his wife that own the restaurant but the interior and design of the restaurant is really bad but the man is really nice and helpful, for a dinner on your own on a week day its worth a try...

I must say that I had a phenomenal experience here, very helpful people, the service was top-notch and I truly felt at home. The food was all fresh and my preferences were taken care of and catered to. Highly recommended.

Food is delicious. Serves mostly southern nigerian foods. Would love to see some northern nigerian foods on the menu . Do try when you're in town.

Unglaublich leckeres Essen, die Bedienung ist super nett und hilfsbereit und berät einen sofort, wenn man noch nicht ganz weiß was es gibt. Hier gehe ich auf jeden Fall noch einmal hin!

This is a family-run, basic restaurant with reasonable prices. Expect big portions fit for sharing. Probably best to enjoy food here when you have some time at hand - and no one by your side who you want to be impressed by your choice of restaurant :-) Thursday evening, business was very quiet, so was the whole place. No music, no noise, rather peaceful actually. Last food orders around 9pm.

I just want to say that the first time I was there, we had to wait ages for the food which is still understandable. The second time 2 out of 3 of us got our main orders wrong plus they brought plain white rice when we had clearly ordered Jollof Rice, in top of that we waited AN HOUR to pay after dinner. It seems like they are very understaffed & it becomes too much to handle when a lot of tables are full. I am very sad writing this review because I love Nigerian food & just want to look forward to dining at an otherwise very authentic restaurant.

This food is made FRESH. It will take some time so don’t be silly this isn’t McDonald’s. The food here is magnificent. Made to please your soul. Time management between orders could be fixed by an additional cook who can mirror that woman’s magic work.

We had to wait almost 2 hours until our food was served, althought the Restaurant was almost Completely empty. Other people who arrived later then us got their food faster then us. We were supposed to pay for tap water and to take the rest of our food home. When we asked for the bill, the Restaurant owner gave us an Attitude. Really dissappointing Service. The plantain we ordered was a little burned, the food i General was good. But not worth the wait.

Restaurant has a relaxed and homey vibe so things go slower than usual but it is worth the wait. They have some really good West African food.

Ich war gestern zum ersten Mal im Nollywood mit meiner Freundin, die sich mit afrikanischen Gerichten auskennt, und mit ihrer kleinen Tochter. Man muss Geduld mitbringen, die Zubereitung der Speisen dauert etwas länger, das Warten lohnt sich, alles schmeckt köstlich. Ich aß die Bohnen mit fritierten Kochbananen, mit scharfer Soße, mega lecker. Es war ein großartiges kulinarisches Erlebnis, etwas Besonderes, das man nicht alle Tage geboten bekommt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich, das Lokal sauber und das Essen wirklich köstlich. Wir bedanken uns beim Team im Nollywood für das sehr leckere Essen und werden sicher bald wiederkommen, um hier afrikanische Köstlichkeiten zu genießen. Besonders zu erwähnen ist auch das nigerianische Bier. Es schmeckt ganz anders als unser Bier, es ist mild und fruchtig.

Super Essen, frisch gekocht. Man muss ein bisschen Zeit mitbringen. Auf jeden Fall ausprobieren, wenn man noch nie westafrikanisches Essen gegessen hat.

This is a proper west African kitchen. Tasty well cooked dishes are served just like in Africa . Bring time with you. :-) The African clock and Flair is alive in Frankfurt Germany.

Awesome Nigerian food, cooked authentically The Naija way. This visit almost gave me home sickness. The service was awesome as well, there was a little delay with the food though which was acknowledged and apologies were extended.
