Niko's Grill in Krefeld

I enjoy eaten here, very kind, nice and very hospitable people. The food was amazing coming from Dallas this is one of the best food, I have eaten in Germany. I recommend you guys to try this.

We ordered from Niko for the first time on a Sunday – an experiment that unfortunately wasn't successful. We ordered a Metaxa gyro with fries and salad, and a rolled gyro pita. Let's start with the most important thing: the gyro meat. It was very oversalted and burnt in places. We're used to much better quality from other Greek restaurants in Krefeld. The Metaxa sauce was neither fish nor meat and had little to do with a good Metaxa sauce. Far too much cream made it extremely heavy, so much so that after three spoonfuls, we were already tired of it. The gyro pita was very small for €8, and the proportions of the ingredients on the bread were unbalanced. Here, too, we've seen much better results from other Greek snack bars. The fries could have stayed in the fryer a little longer. The delivery time was 1.5 hours, but that was advertised in advance and perfectly acceptable for a Sunday. All in all, this experiment was unfortunately not a positive experience. Hopefully, summer will be over soon so we won't have to resort to such "experiments" again.

We ordered for delivery. The food was okay, but the prices were a bit too high in some places. Tzatziki without bread cost about 100ml and cost €4.

Unprofessional towards his customers as (the boss). Can't offer anything to eat even though the skewer is still very large. Takes 10 minutes to be spoken to. You're sent away as a customer, even though you could have asked for other dishes. Unfortunately, nothing happened, just that I was told to leave. Because I saw how big the skewer was. Truly inferior behavior from the people. Personally, I will never order anything from there again.

I regularly order from Niko's Grill – the food is always a 10 out of 10, really delicious, top quality! But today, unfortunately, I had an unpleasant experience with the driver. Last time, he couldn't give me change (I only had 20s), and I gave him more so we could offset it next time – over €10. He said it wouldn't be a problem. Today, he came back and suddenly wanted the money. He said he had too many trips, couldn't remember, and even suggested I had given him the money as a tip. I explained to him that wasn't the case, but we argued in the hallway for over 15 minutes. As a "regular customer" (about two a month), I don't feel taken seriously – as if I were lying. It's a shame. The food is still excellent, but things like this should be better documented or clarified internally. Otherwise, the service suffers.

This used to be a really solid snack bar! Unfortunately, it has declined significantly over the years. It started with changes to individual dishes and ultimately ended with the taste. Price/performance: It's not really worth it anymore. If you live around here, you might have to rely on it. I wouldn't recommend delivery for anyone else from the city or elsewhere; there are much better options!

The food is so mediocre, but the way they treat customers is poor, in a bad mood, annoyed and unfriendly! Not recommended!!!

The food here is very tasty, they are also very nice and the atmosphere in the store is very pleasant, you feel like you are in Greece because of the selection of music and the way the store is decorated

We've been loyal customers for years and the food has been great so far. After 90 minutes of waiting, they stated that the order was no longer needed. We have to take care of it ourselves via Lieferando. With no result, called again after 120 minutes and found out that he then canceled himself. If you get objective feedback, just hang up. It's a shame, very good food but that's not how you treat customers.

I just ate a large, delicious portion of gyros with fries. I'll be back.

Update: Was there again today. Full of joy to finally eat a Hawaiian schnitzel again. My friend wanted a currywurst with fries. Schnitzel Hawaii only consists of one schnitzel (previously 2, previously 3). He even cut the schnitzel into many pieces to fit it into an even smaller box. He took sausage out of the “chicken box” and then put it on the grill. Decline in quality at its finest. I'll never go there again! I used to get something there sometimes every week, but now, after this disappointment, never again. Old review: Very good snack. Everything is always freshly prepared, as is normal in a chip shop, some salads are homemade, others come from the bucket. Good prices for a good portion. The best thing there for me is the “Schnitzel Hawaii”. Unfortunately we had to wait 2 hours for our food, which is why we deducted 1 star, but that happened once and I don't think it will happen again.

I ordered there via Lieferando. A delivery time of around 60 minutes was stated. Food arrived after just under 80 minutes. However, you are ripped off when it comes to alcoholic drinks. Lieferando says Ouzo 0.2 liters, but only 0.04 liters are delivered for the same price. When you call them they try to deny everything and if you remain stubborn they become very aggressive. NEVER AGAIN and I am keeping my mind open to legal action

The service was friendly, the salad was freshly prepared and was very crunchy and well seasoned, the fries and the gyros were super tasty and crispy and I still had enough gyros left over for the next day. top I'll be back ☺️👍

You often find yourself standing in front of locked doors because the opening times on the internet are not correct

We've ordered there several times and it keeps getting worse, we waited 90 minutes and then the food wasn't even hot and my saganaki was completely soaked from the onions and peppers that were underneath. Nothing recommended

Unfortunately it has now become very expensive...

Das Essen ist lecker und die Service ist top. Ich kann nur weiter empfehlen.

Ausgezeichneter kleiner Imbiss mit griechischen Spezialitäten. Das Essen schmeckt ausgezeichnet.

Geschmacklich gut - aber der Betreiber macht häufig den Eindruck, daß man ungelegen kommt. Fast unfreundlich oder arrogant.

Also die Negativen Kommentare über lange Lieferung kann ich voll und ganz nachvollziehen. Aaaaber das Essen ist heiss angekommen in Meerbusch. Gyros Pita schmeckt wie in Griechenland 😍 Die Jägersoße schmeckt leider nicht nach Jägersoße aber das war mir egal.Weinblätter waren auch sehr lecker. Und Pommes kamen auch heiss und knackig an. Ich werd wieder bestellen.

Ich habe nie in meinen Leben so ein Lecker Grill nicht gegessen, deutlich beste Griechische Restaurant in Krefeld. Ich empfehle euch einmal es probieren. 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤👌👌👌👌👌👌👌

Endlos lange Lieferzeiten. Essen ist ok.Aber mit diesen langen Lieferzeiten vergrault ihr alle. Fahrer total überfordert. Vorläufig nicht mehr.

Der Geschmack vom Gyros Fleisch war ind Ordnung, nur leider war das Fleisch sehr trocken.

Immer wieder sehr leckeres und schnelles Essen. Heute hatten wir für die Tochter einen Burger den sie erst mit ihren 2 Jahren sehr skeptisch angesehen aber dann doch komplett verputzt hat. Die anderen Leckereien waren wie immer erste Sahne. Niko hat auch neuere Styropor Kisten die mir direkt ins Auge gefallen sind.... Macht weiter so!!!

Restaurante griego magnífico. Abundante comida y muy buena calidad. Tiene una carta muy amplia de comida, tanto para llevar como para comer en el propio restaurante. Todo muy limpio. El precio es bueno. El trato muy profesional y agradable. Lo recomiendo

2 mal dort gewesen Gyrosteller, Nikos teller alles gut sogar pommes noch zuhause stabil.

Früher Dauerbesteller - nach dem Besitzerwechsel mit Wohlwollen einige Male versucht, es ist einfach nicht mehr gut! Elementar: Wie kann man Pommes verhunzen? Sie sind, bei jeder Bestellung nicht "fertig" gewesen. Also nicht lange genug frittiert worden. Und das hatte nichts mit der Tatsache zu tun, daß Pommes darunter leiden, wenn sie verpackt & transportiert werden. Wir sind leider raus und darüber wirklich traurig!

Wirklich leckeres Gyros aber auch kleine Portionen und gesalzene Preise. Abwechslungsreiche Karte, alles was ein Imbiss braucht.

Zu Anfang als Niko den Laden besaß, hat es unfassbar gut geschmeckt. Dann wechselte der Besitzer und das essen war kaum genießbar. Jetzt, ca. 8 Monate später hatten wir nochmal dort bestellt und waren wirklich begeistert. Es hat wirklich sehr sehr lecker geschmeckt und es schmeckt wirklich wieder genau so gut wie in Nikos Zeiten! Ab sofort wieder nur noch hier am bestellen.

Wieder mal super zufrieden. Ich weiß nicht wie Ihr es hin bekommt, aber ich kenne keinen Lieferdienst der es schafft Pommes so knusprig zu liefern. Fleisch war auch wie immer saftig und lecker. Alles super und das Preis - Leistungsverhältnis ist auch in Ordnung.
