It was our first time in Athos and we were completely satisfied. Very tasty starter plate, lamb fillet grilled to perfection, lamb shank with broad beans tender as butter. Very nice, high-quality and tastefully designed rooms, more attentive and quicker, even when the place is full. Cheers!

5 stars – A culinary short break to Greece! At the weekend we went to the Akropolis restaurant in Hiddenhausen – and it was simply a dream! As soon as we entered we were warmly greeted by the friendly waiters. The daughters and dear Andy in particular made us feel like we were with friends with their warm manner. The food was simply sensational! Everything is fresh, perfectly prepared and so incredibly juicy - we have never had better Greek food, not even in Greece. Every dish was a delight and the value for money is simply unbeatable. The Acropolis is the perfect “village Greek” where you can not only eat great food, but also enjoy a warm, family atmosphere. We are already looking forward to our next visit – thank you for the wonderful evening!

I'm there more often. A top snack bar/restaurant.. great selection. can only be recommended. Boss and employees are always in a good mood. Price/performance is also top.
