A very good meal for five! Lunch menu with appetizer and sushi. Everything was top notch!

It was delicious and the flavors were exquisite. Located on Ostpreußenstrasse, with a direct bus stop at "Zoppoter Strasse." The price and quality are excellent, with a good lunch menu and a cozy dining room, a friendly atmosphere, and excellent service. Takeout is also available.

We've lived across the street for eight years and recently ate there. Excellent food! I'm not a big fan of Asian cuisine, but this surprised me. The dishes have a very intense flavor, in a good way. The servers are friendly, but nothing special. The wait time is also satisfactory. I can recommend going here to anyone. However, I recommend making reservations, as it can get quite busy sometimes.

We had the opportunity to visit this wonderful restaurant during the New Year's holidays in 2025. A huge thank you to the extremely friendly staff and the exceptionally delicious cuisine! Huge respect to the chefs and the entire kitchen team – everything was incredibly tasty, the portions generous. The decor is very beautiful, atmospheric, and cozy. When I'm back in Munich, I will definitely visit this restaurant again!

I've been there, a beautiful restaurant. I once tried pho soup with beef, which is the same dish as the one I ate in Vietnam. Unfortunately I couldn't take a photo because I was very hungry. In addition, waiters were very nice and attentive. I felt like I was in Vietnam. Sushi was great with decorative volcano shape

Simply excellent 🤩 I love the food at Ngon, everything is delicious, handmade and you can just feel the quality and love down to the smallest part. The Thai curry - a taste explosion, the sushi with lots of fish and fluffy rice, the wontons are crispy and homemade & the desserts are also delicious. It's great that there are such great, lovingly run restaurants!

Very tasty and well prepared food, nice ambience, and the service is also very friendly, but sometimes when the restaurant is overcrowded, they are understandably a bit overwhelmed, which can still be a bit unpleasant as a guest.

The sushi seemed very fresh and high quality. The taste was very good and not too expensive. The fried sushi is particularly recommended! The atmosphere is very nice and pleasantly decorated and the service is very friendly. We'll be back!

We order here regularly and have eaten there several times. Always a great pleasure as the food is of top quality. It's particularly fun on site because the sushi is served with special effects. But the curries and udon dishes are also great. We especially love the salmon tartare and the sashimi :-)

Although I am otherwise very critical, there is absolutely nothing to complain about here. The service was very friendly and competent. There was a very large selection. Nevertheless, the food was very tasty, but above all extremely beautifully prepared. The restaurant itself was also very aesthetic and created a pleasant atmosphere by combining plants with beautiful neon lights. The price is high but reasonable. Very happy again!

I discovered this little restaurant a while ago and I have to say it has a really wonderful atmosphere. I've been there several times. It's cozy and a real hidden gem that has the potential to become my new favorite restaurant since it's so close by. Everything I tried was not only delicious, but also beautifully presented. The tofu in particular blew me away - I've tried a lot, but I've never eaten such good tofu. A small downer is the drinks menu. I would like a little more variety here, but that's just my personal opinion. Unfortunately I have to deduct a star because I have had to wait over an hour for my order on each visit. When we were there with a larger group, something from the order was always forgotten and since the food wasn't served at the same time, we couldn't really eat together. The service often seemed overwhelmed, which made the atmosphere a bit hectic. Guests waiting behind you for the to-go meal or a free table and visibly stressed staff don't exactly contribute to a relaxed experience. Despite these points, the restaurant has a lot of potential and I hope that operations will improve soon. Then I would love to come back.

The restaurant itself is really great. Unfortunately, it happened to us for the second time on a Friday that we had to wait over 2 hours for our food to be delivered (predicted was 60 minutes). Small addendum: on February 14th. it took almost 3 hours... That wouldn't be a problem if you at least let people know or reject orders if there's too much going on. We won't be ordering anymore and therefore won't be eating there as often, which is a real shame!

It’s one of the best restaurants that I visited in Munich! I’m very recommend the vegan dishes and also the fresh sushi! Very delicious! The waiter are very friendly! All in all it was the best one I’ve ever been!

We were only in the restaurant for a short time and left disappointed after a quick look at the menu. According to the menu, all dishes with meat contain flavor enhancers!! An absolute no-go for us 🙅‍♀️

The food was really good and beautifully presented. The restaurant is very authentically decorated and really cozy. The service was quick, not to mention hectic. We had a reservation, unfortunately only for a time slot of 1.5 hours, which is simply far too short. We were told several times that our time was about to end. Just in time for the end, we were asked to leave, even though there were no guests for our table. We felt very rushed throughout the entire meal and urged to leave at the end. We will therefore no longer visit the restaurant and cannot recommend it if you want to spend a cozy evening.

We had a wonderful meal here once again. I am very sensitive and tolerated everything very well. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

We are quite disappointed with the Ngon Soulfood Restaurant. After the third time, we noticed that the dishes were served more and more lukewarm. We can only recommend the sushi and the small starters, the food is actually not bad, but who likes to eat lukewarm food on ice cold plates... I waited a total of over two hours for my food and then it was not only lukewarm again but unfortunately not the dish I ordered... waiting again... instead of apologizing, I was treated quite loudly and very rudely. What a birthday meal... well, thank you very much for that... What a pity

We have eaten at Ngon many times and always had a great evening, like today. Delicious, fresh food and the staff is super nice and friendly! It's always busy, so you should make a reservation. We'd love to continue to visit you!

It's expensive and you have to be aware of that. I paid €6 extra for tofu and it was just a small pile for that price. I paid €13, and in general it just tasted like fat.

As native Vietnamese, we ate at Restraunt Ngon for the first time today. Many thanks to the wonderful team at Ngon for bringing us back to the traditional flavors of Ngon's food. Cozy space, delicious and quality food, dedicated service. We will definitely come back!

Excellent sushi! Payment only by cash

Updated January 2025; The quality of the food is still top class! Everything tastes really excellent and at fair prices. But: I have to deduct at least one star because the organization on weekends and public holidays is disastrous. I repeatedly ordered and picked up food. And ALWAYS had to wait. I'm not talking about 5-10 minutes after the specified time, but about over 45 minutes that I stood in the restaurant today, for example, even though I only went there 10 minutes after the specified pick-up time, alongside up to eight other people who also have waited. The shop is quite small, which is uncomfortable for the guests who want to enjoy a nice dinner there. Unfortunately, the Asian mentality doesn't seem to allow us to say honestly and openly how long it will take, but instead we constantly claim that it's actually already finished, just 2 minutes more. This is annoying and counterproductive for the operators! Update: fantastic! All dishes, whether sushi or Vietnamese specialties, are of very high quality! Absolute recommendation! However, we always pick up as we live next door, so I can't contribute anything to the service or drinks.

Always delicious and very friendly. No matter what you order, it always tastes great. The lunch menu is also great.

update posted below: When the NGONG opened what felt like 2-3 years ago, I was there once and wasn't thrilled - I had heard that there were new tenants and so I wanted to give the shop a chance - and I have to say, I was extremely happy with my delicious meal Lunch dish - I'll definitely come back and try out lots of other things - everything tasted super fresh and delicious - I'm happy that we had a delicious Vietnamese meal in a cozy, small and chilled atmosphere have... very friendly staff! thank you and see you soon :: update 01/06/25 This evening I was there for the 4th time since my premiere a few weeks ago - my first impression was confirmed again - our food was fantastic - I love c3 - you really do a great job - I recently had a "lighter" sauce with it - Tonight was more intense, so I'm upgrading my 4 stars to 5 and I'm grateful that we have such a cozy, beautiful restaurant in the neighborhood. We don't have to go to Glockenbach anymore or somewhere else - you can keep up with it.. thanks -Cảm ơn PS: only small criticism - the payment process often takes far too long

The restaurant was once one of our favorites (gave it 5 stars) but unfortunately the service, food and price have deteriorated. €7 for Bun Ba Lot as a starter and it was an incredibly small portion. 15€ for a skin dish that was 70% pasta and salad. I get a whole roast pork for that. Unfortunately I can no longer recommend the restaurant

My visit to the ngon soulfood restaurant was a real taste experience! From the moment I entered the restaurant I was amazed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The decor is modern and cozy, perfect for a relaxed dinner. The menu offers a wide variety of Vietnamese specialties and I couldn't resist trying the Pho. It was to die for – the broth was rich and flavorful, and the fresh herbs complemented the dish perfectly. The summer rolls were also a highlight: crunchy and filled with fresh vegetables and tender meat. The service was exceptional. The waiters were friendly, helpful and had good recommendations for the dishes. You can tell that quality is important here, both in terms of food and service. Overall, my visit to ngon soulfood was a completely successful experience. I can recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Vietnamese cuisine in Munich. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

We have now ordered for delivery several times. The food is good, but every time it takes much longer than advertised. This time - despite asking twice by phone - it took well over 2 hours. And the journey takes a maximum of 10 minutes. Therefore, unfortunately we will no longer order or go there in the future.

All dishes from starter to main course were very tasty! Guava spritzer really tasted like guava. Something we can't say about other restaurants. Only one small negative point: We would have liked more flat rice noodles and glass noodles in our soup. Because they were gone immediately in one bite! But otherwise everything was great and highly recommended :)

The Ngon restaurant is an absolute insider tip! The sushi and Vietnamese dishes are first-class – fresh, tasteful and prepared with a lot of love. There are many places in Munich where you can enjoy sushi, but this one really stands out! I've been here several times and have been impressed every time. Particularly noteworthy is the consistency in quality – always a delight. Even if it is a little out of the way, the visit is definitely worth it. An absolute must for sushi and Vietnam cuisine lovers. Highly recommended!

Very loving restaurant and you can taste that everything is specially and freshly prepared. This also results in a slightly longer waiting time for the dishes. Small drawback or note: we both had strips of a chili pepper in our dishes, which diminished the enjoyment of the meal in the short term. Might be a bit problematic for children or young people... but otherwise, try it yourself and enjoy.

An absolutely fantastic Asian restaurant! The duck with peanut sauce was to die for – crispy, tender and full of flavour. The service was friendly and attentive, the atmosphere was cozy. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for quality Asian cuisine.

Complete disaster. We were first in the restaurant on a Friday evening at 6:30 p.m. The first meal came about 70 minutes after we ordered, but each dish had another 10 minute wait (we had several small starters and another main course). Some of them were even the wrong dishes. Exactly the same at the surrounding tables. In total it took about 2 hours until we got all the dishes. Everyone eating in the restaurant had an outrageously long wait while ToGo orders were delivered every minute. Complete chaos. Despite asking several times, we had to wait another 30 minutes for the bill. There was no apology or accommodation from the restaurant. The food was tasty, but unfortunately we couldn't enjoy it due to the circumstances.

Food is excellent here. I got Sushi and and Bun Bo(beef noodle). The waiter is super friendly and he speaks german fluently. I will come back.

The food here tastes excellent and I think the price-performance ratio is absolutely reasonable. I would recommend making a reservation in the evening, as the outdoor spaces fill up quickly, especially when the weather is nice. I found the service staff to be very friendly and personable.
