We were there for the first time and were thrilled, service was great and the food was A1, with a large selection. Of course it is a bit loud but that didn't bother us. The toilets were clean We'll be back

A huge selection of starters, lunch and dessert. No wish remains unfulfilled!!! Super fresh and it was refilled at any time. The employees are super nice and friendly. The dishes were put away immediately and we were available to answer any questions at any time! My favorite was the white and brown chocolate fountain with various fruits and pastries. Great, great, great! Simply put: This is how you imagine the land of milk and honey 😍👍🙏🥰❤️.

New Phönix in Emden is a buffet restaurant that is really impressive. The “all you can eat” concept including all drinks is simply great and ensures a completely carefree dining experience. The food itself is delicious, and the selection is impressive, especially when it comes to meat dishes and desserts. Everyone really gets their money's worth here. A small downer, however, is the sushi. It didn't convince me and unfortunately it's not on the same high level as the rest of the buffet. Nevertheless, New Phönix is ​​definitely worth a visit if you want to enjoy a diverse and tasty buffet in Emden.

The lunch buffet is only recommended for €19.50 including all drinks as much as you want to drink! From beer to wine to soda, cola, water, etc. This time (08/22/24) there was an unfriendly man in the restaurant who did the checkout and the service! He was very, very unfriendly and asked us to pay about 20 minutes before closing! Although we still ate! The buffet has now become €4 more expensive per person.

The visit was on a Sunday afternoon. We were able to use the Mongolian grill and there wasn't much going on. We enjoyed it and left full and satisfied.

Update 2024: Warning about this store! Since the people of Emden unfortunately have hardly any alternatives if they want to eat a buffet, they will probably have to make a lot of compromises. It feels like the staff is becoming more and more unfriendly and bold. As soon as you say you would like something from the lunch table, you are directed to the buffet. If you want to do it anyway and if you are there with several people at the buffet, you are under constant observation to see whether you don't get something to drink or eat from the buffet from the others. Today they suddenly said that there was no longer any lunch and that we should take the buffet. The difference is almost 10 euros. So you force the buffet directly on the guests. This time even with the lie that the lunch menu hadn't been available for a long time. This definitely cannot be true. 1. The lunch menu can be viewed online, on your own homepage. (See image) 2. An older couple who are regular guests there received their lunch menu last week. So I find today's statement more than cheeky. 2023: The service was really unfriendly. Especially if you want something a la carte. But the buffet is unbeatable!

Went back after a while. Although we arrived quite late at lunchtime and only sat down about 1 (one) hour before the buffet ended, the times mentioned on the menu were enough to have a leisurely meal. After about 25 minutes, however, a few customers came in and eagerly served themselves at the buffet with disposable bowls and within a few minutes many "new customers with disposable bowls around the buffet tables were trying hard to clear them...!" When we asked, we learned that if there was little left, the food would be sold early on online for a fee. Therefore 30 to 35 minutes before the buffet ends. --> This was not communicated to us in advance when we entered the New Phönix. However, we had paid the high full price for about 25 minutes of lunch buffet food.....until within a few minutes the buffet was almost completely emptied except for a few small leftovers. THAT WAS A SIGN FOR US TO VISIT "NEW PHOENIX" NEVER AGAIN. There are also competitors who plan and have the planning with discounted food "which is very commendable" much better in terms of time and have it under control and where customers don't receive any rude answers from the older restaurant manager. From us now only 1 star :-( THANKS to the team!

We celebrated my wife's birthday with the family. We ordered a buffet for 33 euros per person. We spent about three hours in the restaurant. Before we left, the waiter manning the counter came and practically told us to leave straight away, saying that the buffet lasts no longer than three hours, even though this isn't stated anywhere in the rules and the restaurant was half empty . I have visited this restaurant about five times and everything has always been fine, I have always recommended it to my friends, but after being treated like this I don't feel like going back.

Small children are shouted at by workers

An employee threatens small children with a “beat” if they spill the chocolate fountain (the entire area is full of chocolate). This employee is generally very loud, making it very disruptive while eating! The rest of the staff is nice or doesn't make themselves noticeable, the food tastes good!

IMPOSSIBLE!!!! I had ordered a too good to go bag, showed my cell phone and was very rudely directed to the buffet. I thought that was where the stripped down foods were. When I looked around questioningly, the waiter was even more annoyed and called me over. "I need to see your phone to see if you have paid" and typed on my phone saying "You don't understand anything". That was the first and the last time, they didn't deserve it!!!!!

Although the food, staff and atmosphere were very good, the whole family got sick afterwards! Some of them even developed glandular fever, which lasted for weeks! Without speculating too much, I would say that the plates and cutlery are not washed properly enough because such diseases are transmitted by droplets, including viruses on dishes! Staff unfriendly and not worth the money

33.50 euros for 1.5 plates and a Schweppes? No thanks. This may be worth it for people who spend the whole evening there. However, that's not my thing. In summer, flies sit on the raw meat and you try in vain to scare them away with fans. Otherwise the food is just run of the mill. No recommendation from me.

We were here for a confirmation and were one of three confirmation societies that day. There was of course a lot of hustle and bustle in the store. The place is clean. The staff is very friendly but often overwhelmed when clearing up. Unfortunately, the food at the fixed stations is not tasty, but if you have something prepared at the grill station it is really good and tasty. The dessert area is more extensive than the buffet, which is not surprising. Somehow it seems stuck in the German China 1.0 of the 80s, unfortunately other local ones can do better. But I still felt comfortable because I wasn't constantly being bombarded with high-pitched Chinese songs.

Wir waren an Sylvester dort essen. Neun Personen + 2 Kinder Empfang war schon sehr stressig, das Essen war wie immer, standard, nichts anders trotz Silvester! Bei Reservierung wurde extra nach den Öffnungszeiten gefragt. Buffet bis 23 Uhr, und man dürfe bis min. 24 Uhr sitzen bleiben. Um 22:10 wurden wir am Buffet nervös gefragt ob wir kein Zuhause haben um dort zu feiern. Sie schließen jetzt! War ganz schön peinlich... Bei der Rechnung wurde dann plötzlich nochmal 2,40€ extra pro Person abgerechnet obwohl auf deren Website ausdrücklich an Feiertagen 33,50€ geschrieben steht! Alles in einen war es ein sehr enttäuschender Abend, den wir uns alle anders vorgestellt haben!

Leider war es diesmal nicht so gut wie ketztes nal. Sushi geschmacklos, Essen allgemein lag schwer im Magen. Leider nachgelassen. Angebot reichlich, Getränke auch gut.

Waren zum Hochzeitstag heute dort Essen. Das Essen im Buffet sehr lecker und wurde stets aufgefüllt. Live Cooking top. Neumodernes Ambiente/Einrichtung. Getränke könnten kälter sein. Personal sehr freundlich und schnell. Sehr Empfehlenswert.

Der "Kellner / Abräumer" kam zu uns und berichtete über das Benehmen anderer Gäste. Dieses gehört sich überhaupt nicht! "Die Gäste beschweren sich über meine Kollegen darüber, dass sie sich in den Ohren und in der Nase bohren. Popel und Ohreschmalz werden herausgeholt." Wir waren noch beim Essen!!! So etwas ekeliges habe ich in einem Restaurant und von einem Kellner noch nicht erlebt!!!!

Standard China Buffet. Sehr großes und sehr lautes Restaurant. Gefühl als wäre man in einer Kantine. Buffet Preise sind sehr hoch (Abends, Feiertage + "besondere" Feiertage). An der Eingangstür (hatten reserviert) erfuhren wir erst vom Feiertagspreis. Als wir am Ende bezahlt haben hieß es dann, dass heute ein besonderer Feiertag ist und es wurde von uns ein Preis verlangt der noch höher ist als der Feiertagspreis. Der Service vor Ort war an sich gut. telefonische Reservierung war furchtbar. Erst sollte ich nach drei Tagen noch einmal anrufen, weil die Person die Reservierungen annimmt im Urlaub ist. Dann hatte ich entsprechend erneut angerufen und reserviert. Da sich die Anzahl der Personen geändert hatte, habe ich später noch einmal angerufen und da wußte aufeinmal keiner mehr was von der Reservierung. Getränke sind leider nicht gekühlt aber es gibt dort Eiswürfel. Zusammengefasst ... wir werden nicht wieder kommen.

Ich fand, dass das Restaurant recht neu ist. Aber für die Qualität der Lebensmittel ist neutral. Zum Beispiel bedeutete ziemlich alt, wie Sie von der Farbe des Fleisches sehen können. Die Getränke sind nicht kalt genug, sollte besser sein, wenn sie gehen, um alle Getränke in den Kühlschrank stellen. Noch wichtiger ist, dass die Dekoration sauber sein muss. Leider sehr schlecht!!! Mit 15 Personen standen wir im Laden, reserviert hatten wir Wochen zuvor und wir haben unseren Tisch nicht bekommen !!! Wir wurden nicht Informiert und uns wurde nicht einmal eine Entschuldigung entgegen gebracht !!!

Preis Leistung 1A,und auch das Behinderten WC ist nicht zu toppen. Kann man nur empfehlen,sehr nette Bedienung und ganz tolles China Essen.
