Safe Haven During Train Cancellation!!🚉 Since my train unexpectedly stopped around 8 pm and the line was no longer passable, I was practically stranded in Bad Oeynhausen🏖️. So I went to this restaurant, where I felt very comfortable as a solo traveler. The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and accommodating! My food (the "Classico" pizza) arrived quickly, and the price was perfectly reasonable (€8.90). It was really delicious and not too heavy, since the pizzas are served on a tarte flambée base🤭. The atmosphere was also very cozy; it wasn't too bright or too dark, so I could have easily stayed longer. The noise level was also fine – it wasn't very busy on a Tuesday evening. All in all, the evening was saved, and the wait passed quickly😋 I'd gladly come again (if there were no train cancellations)!

New Orleans is by far one of the most welcoming restaurants in the area, as you feel right at home. The service is very polite and respectful, the food is truly diverse and delicious – highly recommended! I can recommend this place to everyone and am a frequent visitor myself. The ambiance speaks volumes about the feeling of well-being it inspires, as it is very much focused on culinary delights.

I visited New Orleans today and was absolutely delighted. The atmosphere is cozy, modern, and yet very inviting – you immediately feel at ease. I especially enjoyed our waiter, Florian – you can taste the love that goes into the cooking. The value for money is also excellent. Whether for a quick lunch, a coffee break, or a relaxed dinner – this bistro is highly recommended. I will definitely be back!

We went to New Orleans today. We ordered a burger that was completely overcooked and a Wiener Schnitzel that, even after complaining, was served a second time with a rock-hard breading and a dry interior. Although my food was almost entirely returned due to its inedibility, we still had to pay full price. We strongly advise against going to this restaurant.

We had a reservation for 7 people, and when we arrived on time, we were immediately informed that we couldn't eat any more. The kitchen was closed at 8 p.m. despite our reservation! Afterwards, we went to Reyna (Turkish), which was friendly and excellent. If you don't want to eat, you've already got it!

I ordered shrimp. They brought me pea shrimp with a huge loaf of bread and a liter of mayonnaise. The dishes were chipped. It was very tasty, but the menu doesn't really reflect the actual dishes.

My worst burger ever (and it was the house burger, the "New Orleans Burger"). I'm not a fan of McDonald's etc., but the burgers there taste better. Sorry, I really don't know where some of the positive reviews come from... Thank goodness there are better restaurants in Oeynhausen.

A very nice place. It's often very busy, but you get very quick service. Everyone there is very nice.

So, it was my first time there and I have to say, regretfully, that the place could make more of its size and location. The prices are beyond outrageous and very high (Tullamore Dew Whisky 4cl for €10.90) or Baileys 4cl for €4.90 sounds acceptable, but the fact that there are more ice cubes in the glass than the drink itself is truly outrageous. The poured beer didn't exceed the 0.4L mark, even with the foam, but it was offered and billed as a large beer. The service is truly abysmal; the waitresses don't know where the ordered items go because there's no table layout, and they can't hear the pourers or the customer when they speak. For example, in my case, the Coke was poured from the glass bottle into my glass. I said I didn't want that (the waitress did it anyway). Then, when pouring, the glass wasn't tilted so that less carbonation was lost. The waitress wasn't concentrating on what she was doing, and part of the bottle fell onto the table. It was really sad. So, to summarize: Unfortunately, the restaurant lacks service and reasonable prices. There are far better ones in the area that are much more reasonable.

We had pizza, burgers, and jerk chicken. All delicious. The pizza was nice and thin, the burgers were large, and the chicken was good too. Friendly staff. It's very empty at lunchtime during the week. Highly recommended.

We were served a tasteless salad with yellow and not fresh greens (arugula), for which we were charged almost 14 euros. No butter, only mayonnaise with ketchup, as one option. The pizza was burnt. The child was served juice in a large glass without a straw. I will not come here again.

Dirty glasses, mixing your own beer, and iced tea from a carton – we only had one round after all. But the service was nice!

Warning! Bad service!! I met a friend for coffee late this morning. The restaurant was empty but clean. We sat outside and drank coffee. We sat for more than five minutes. The (heavily tattooed) waitress finally came and asked for our order. We did! The coffee took less than three minutes. That was the last time we saw the waitress. An hour later, to get the bill, I had to gesture to her from across the courtyard. I was born and raised in Louisiana and spent summers in New Orleans; this place may have the aesthetic, but not the warmth of Southern hospitality or a high standard of customer service. My home is now here in Germany, and I was looking forward to this restaurant experience. I was very disappointed! The location is ideal.

It was okay... but nothing more.

Unfortunately, it wasn't so good on several occasions. Despite the great location, it's not so great on closer inspection. Starting with the currywurst and the homemade curry sauce advertised on the menu, I discovered that this "homemade curry sauce" was unfortunately a warmed-up convenience product. The New Orleans Burger was also carelessly prepared, with overcooked patties and a dried-out standard burger bun. The number of fries on the plate was also quite limited, at 29 (!). The service staff stated they would pass on my comments, but saw no way to improve them. It's a shame.

I used to come here often, but then I didn't for a few years. The prices have gone up (normal development), but the portions have also gotten much smaller, and if you order sweet potato fries instead of regular fries, you pay €5 extra! That's completely out of proportion! I had to return the cocktail. For the price, the alcohol content was far too high, making it not enjoyable at all! The atmosphere was nice as always, and the staff were friendly, albeit not very knowledgeable. I'll probably avoid the New Orleans for years to come. What a shame.

The burgers are really nothing special, unfortunately. Frozen patties are rather poor quality, and the buns are also, unfortunately, nothing special. Plus, a really tiny portion of fries... The waiters didn't even bother to ask us if we liked the food or if everything was okay. Unfortunately, you felt very alone. It was my first and last visit there.

A really great location in Bad Oeynhausen. We were there for Father's Day from 11:00 AM. An incredibly good band called Granufunk was playing. We even danced! The waitresses at the beer and food trucks were super friendly and quick. If we ever go to Bad Oeynhausen again, we'll definitely go to the New Orleans again. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it; the entire burger was made from ready-made products. I had the New Orleans XXL Burger and was able to try three toppings. The meatball, crispy chicken, and pulled pork were all completely dry, which unfortunately had little to do with cooking. We also quickly saw some of the food being returned from other tables. There were six of us there, and unfortunately, no one was satisfied.

This was our first time at the Orleans in Bad Oeynhausen. The location is very convenient, close to the park. The numerous outdoor seating areas can be covered if needed. The service was very friendly. The homemade lemonades were delicious. Strawberries would have been nice in the strawberry lemonade. The tarte flambée with salmon was good. The Orleans Burger was disappointing; the burger and fries required more attention in their preparation (they were hard).

We ate there today. First, the table was still sticky from the previous diners. After repeated requests, the table was finally cleaned. But they still need to work on that. On top of that, we waited over an hour for our food. When we finally got our food, we were disappointed. The fries weren't quite cooked. Poorly presented. We were there last year, too. We were satisfied. Maybe we should think about what's happened in a year. We think it's a real shame. Conclusion: We won't be seeing you there again.

All in all nice. The restaurant is very often crowded, but you can sit outside nicely. The food we ordered was tasty, but a bit thrown together. The fried potatoes were triplets and the salad was spread all over the plate and flooded with dressing. It was okay, but could be better. The quantity was also somewhat manageable. The steak baguette looked significantly different than you would think, tasted good, but seemed a bit strange in its presentation. Drinks were okay too, banana spritzer is something new. Only rice came out of the salt dispenser, but the service accepted that. Absolutely doable for a nice evening.

I was there with students. I had made a reservation a day in advance. Super nice service person, very attentive. Great preparation of the tables. There were blankets and patio heaters for warmth. Students felt very comfortable. I go there often and think it's fantastic. Thanks to the great team.

Were here at lunchtime. Locally around 50% attended. Service was there quickly. Unfortunately, I am very disappointed with the pizza I ordered. The menu says "with tarte flambée dough", but the dough actually reminded me of a store-bought wrap tortillia that is only served with toppings. No edge, no volume, very flabby. Simply disappointing. In the end, the waitress didn't even ask about satisfaction. Since we were there to eat, I can only rate the visit as below average...

I was there last night with my girlfriend and wanted to end the evening. The waitress was very friendly, but I ordered an ice cream parlor but got a coffee with rum even though I don't drink alcohol at all.

Hello, I was there for dinner in the afternoon. My experience and opinion are positive and definitely recommend the restaurant. Details: It was very busy, the service arrived very quickly and took the order. This means that an attentive staff works there. When ordering, they asked how it should be cooked. There were 3 different versions. I took medium. There was also meat, which was fine. I was just surprised that people asked about the cooking level, since I've often been to a public meal in other restaurants and areas. Nobody asked that; the meat was always done in one way. In terms of price, it's completely okay because the prices are reasonable. The homemade watermelon lemonade was delicious! The burger too. There are a lot of seats so there are enough seats for the guests. It was also clean the tables and the restaurant. The only thing I ordered was a burger with fries a little bit bigger I thought the portion would be. But it was okay, I was full. Service was friendly. Yes...I can recommend the restaurant. However, I only give 4 stars in the overall rating because the restaurant has a southern look in terms of ambience, presentation and decoration, etc., so I would have liked the appropriate southern music (jazz or Dixiland music) instead of oriental music. Otherwise I felt very comfortable there and enjoyed my chili cheese burger!!

Dear New Orleans team, I don't want to bash you or make you feel bad, but to be honest, you're still doing well with just one star rating. The only star you get was saved by your waitress. We paid 16.50 per burger, which was placed on the plate lukewarm and completely careless (see pictures). In terms of taste, the burger really wasn't a masterpiece. The sweet potato fries were cold, partly burnt and felt like they were twice fried. My ginger ale was not carbonated and tasted very stale. The waitress, who I kindly informed that it wasn't a big deal, didn't offer us any kind of accommodation. I deliberately don't include the ambience in the rating, otherwise you would have to give minus stars. However, partly through no fault of your own, since you can do nothing for the police patrol, nor for the poor, apparently mentally confused people who came past the tables in large numbers within an hour screaming loudly or something similar. Sorry, but we just wanted to get away.

Everything was perfect, everything tasted great... I'm very happy and will definitely come back.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at New Orleans and absolutely loved it. The atmosphere is cozy and stylish, perfect for a relaxing evening. The service was excellent – ​​friendly, attentive and competent. The food was a real highlight. I was particularly impressed by the Crispy Chicken Burger - it tasted great and was beautifully prepared. The lemonades such as the Kiwi lemonade are also highly recommended! An all-round successful experience with great value for money. I'll definitely be back!

We were there for dinner. Waiters have little interest in the guest. Eating took just over an hour, even though it wasn't really full (of course there was no information). Unfortunately the burgers were fried to death, which was a shame. After the long time, we didn't feel like saying anything because the waitresses were very rare. All in all not recommended. Waiting for an hour and a half for a burger with fries and then having my food delivered to me on broken dishes is really cheeky. Dishes sometimes break, one spot can be overlooked, but not 3 chipping spots. Orders that were announced twice were still delivered incorrectly. Service training should be provided across the board. I was here for the first and last time.

I tried the famous New Orleans Burger, which was wonderfully seasoned and bursting with flavors. I was also impressed by the cafe – perfectly prepared and a real taste explosion. For dessert I had the Camembert which was simply heavenly - crispy, fresh and not too sweet. The price-performance ratio was absolutely fair, especially considering the high quality of the food and the great service. For anyone who is in New Orleans and wants to try authentic local cuisine, this is an absolute recommendation. I will definitely come back!

Price/performance doesn't fit. The food is convenience and is prepared carelessly and doesn't taste particularly good. Requests are not taken into account. The service is poor and tends to look away when the drinks are empty. The light flickered because one of the bulbs was defective. The white walls were dirty and partly with leftover food. I can recommend the store 0.0!!!

Always nice to sit outside in New Orleans in the summer. The staff and the bosses are very attentive and friendly. You get drinks and the food you ordered very promptly. The cappuccino is the best in all of Oeynhausen.
