Extremely slow service but lovely food

Friendly staff, everything went quickly, but the atmosphere was nothing special.

I stayed at the Melia Hotel and ate breakfast and lunch a la carte. Breakfast wasn't extensive, but the ingredients were fresh and edible. The pasta I had for lunch wasn't anything special, just average. Unless you're a guest, you probably wouldn't bother coming here.

Very beautiful, pleasant hotel with spacious facilities. Neat and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was spectacular. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were nice and comfortable. Unfortunately, they don't offer cell phone chargers in the rooms, nor do they like to charge phones at the front desk. The bartender told me they had put the tablet away. I had to take a taxi to the nearest mall to buy an adapter. I gave it as a gift so other guests with similar needs would benefit and avoid the stress of running out of cell phone batteries. The night staff at the bar downstairs are super helpful. The girl who served me was so sweet and friendly. The cocktails were spectacular.

Unfortunately, overall quite sobering. The service staff is extremely slow and anything but motivated. At dinner we had to walk from the table to the counter three times and ask if we could be served again. The meal, simple pasta, took over an hour. The indifferent explanation was that there was also room service. Sorry, the guest is not interested. The same sad service experience at breakfast. Tables are not cleared and the selection is really sobering compared to other 4*S hotels! Both in the selection and in the presentation. Sorry. This doesn't need to be repeated. At lunch it can be said that you get a very similar picture. The food is really very good, anything else would be a lie. You can cook here without a doubt, unfortunately the service ruins the overall impression by staying away from the tables. Dishes are left standing again and the guests run to the bar because they can't get anything else to drink. The better cafeteria atmosphere is also in need of improvement. Why? It's a shame.

Great hotel, very nice staff and great views and rooms

The breakfast was delicious. The omelette was the best I ever had, congratulations for the breakfast chef. Dinner was fantastic. The beef was very tender and juice. Prawns were perfect. I would love to thank you for the whole restaurant staff for the amazing service and the receptionist at Melia Frankfurt City.

Mediocre, overpriced breakfast. Charging 29 EUR, but quality of food is below average. Cheap cheeses, can’t cook an egg right.

Zimmer sind Top! Nur die Kaffeemaschinen müssten überprüft werden. Ich war 2 Tage da und hatte nur lau-warmen Kaffee (egal welche Sorte, egal von welcher Maschine - ich mag meinen Kaffee aber schön heiß)

Ich war dort nur für einen leckeren Kaffee. Der Service und die Bedienung war exzellent und überaus freundlich. Preise sind angemessen und Lage sowie Ambiente auch toll.

Der Service war bei mir meist schnell und freundlich. Die Speisekarte kompakt. Das was hier am meisten stört ist die Qualität der Zubereitung. Hier werden Burger well-done serviert, Spaghetti weich gekocht und überreife Tomaten in den Salat geschnippelt. Wenn man großen Hunger hat, isst man das. Jedoch wahrer Genuss - das kann nicht erwartet werden.

+ helles, freundliches Ambiente + angenehme Atmosphäre - recht lange Wartezeiten, obwohl extrem wenig zu tun war und das 4-Gänge-Menü vorbestellt war - Hauptgang von der Portion her sehr "übersichtlich" und Fleisch entsprach nicht den Erwartungen - Service freundlich aber nicht sonderlich motiviert und geschult - zumindest Tischsets auf dem Tisch wären bei einem 4-Gänge-Menü wünschenswert

Restaurant das dem Niveau des Hotels entspricht. Sehr gutes Essen und freundliches und aufmerksames Personal. Leckeres Buffet zu einem guten Preis.
