We ate here and are truly appalled by the way guests were treated. We had specifically ordered without peanut sauce because someone at our table has a peanut allergy. Despite this, the dish arrived with peanut sauce and, on top of that, a curry sauce that we didn't want at all. This was not only negligent but also dangerous. When we pointed this out, they admitted it was their mistake, but offered no apology, no attempt at compensation—quite the opposite, in fact: we had to pay for both sauces, even though it had been clearly agreed that we didn't want them. The chicken was also tiny, tough, and undercooked; the taste was awful. On top of that, there was a long wait, and in the end, an argument about something that was clearly not our fault. We've decided we'll never be back.

We went to NEM for dinner with eight friends on Sunday evening and were really looking forward to a nice time. Unfortunately, the visit turned into a huge disappointment. One of our friends has a severe peanut allergy, so we all made sure to order only dishes without peanuts. I had chosen a dish that usually comes with peanut sauce, which I wanted to exchange for another sauce (e.g., curry), as I had done on previous visits. This time, however, the service was very unfriendly and not at all customer-oriented. First, they said an exchange wasn't possible, then—after I mentioned the allergy—they agreed. Despite this, I was then served peanut sauce, which I unknowingly ate. With a known allergy at the table, this is simply irresponsible and could, in the worst-case scenario, be dangerous. In addition, the chicken in another dish wasn't cooked properly and apparently hadn't thawed completely—it was basically just breading. This, too, should have been checked more carefully. When we calmly brought up the issue with the sauce again at the end, the mistake was acknowledged, but we were still expected to pay for it, accompanied by a rude and unprofessional tone. All in all, a very disappointing visit. We used to enjoy going there, but after this experience, we unfortunately won't be returning – which is a shame, because the restaurant really had potential.

We're regulars at NEM Tropical. There's a huge selection of food, all the dishes are delicious, and the portions are generous! 😃 The service is quick and friendly. The prices are reasonable too. Great restaurant, we always love coming here!

It was a very delicious meal 🤪 and we even got free bakery rolls once. It was very nice, although it was difficult to understand the staff, but otherwise it was very nice and clean. We look forward to our next visit.

Great in itself. But it feels like 30 people live in our entrance. 30 names on the mailbox, shopping carts in the stairwell every day, and dumpsters tipping over in front of the front door. So, no go.

I sat there for 30 minutes and couldn't order because the waiters ignored me the whole time. I then went to the Miyabi restaurant 300 meters away and had great sushi at a better price and with friendly waiters.

The staff were also very friendly, and you can take food to go and pay by card. I'll definitely go back to explore the menu further. One meal that left me feeling very full only cost €15.

Beautiful restaurant and incredibly delicious. My husband ordered a soup, which is why he specifically wanted to go back because it was so delicious, even though he doesn't usually like soup! There were five of us there, and we also had fried noodles with chicken, fried rice, and lots of sushi, all of which were absolutely delicious. The ambiance is very nice, with attention to detail. We'd love to come back.

We visited Nem Tropical in Wolfsburg two days in a row because, after our first visit, we weren't quite sure how many stars we would give it. After our second visit, our decision was finalized: 4 out of 5 stars. The restaurant is beautifully furnished and decorated with great attention to detail. The birdsong in the interior is a particular highlight, creating a relaxed, tropical atmosphere that you don't often find. The sushi was truly excellent – ​​fresh, very well-balanced in flavor, and beautifully presented. The dumplings also completely convinced us. With the curry, we would have only wished for a little less salad and more vegetables, but that's a matter of taste. A few things unfortunately somewhat dampened the otherwise positive overall impression: Firstly, the restrooms weren't clean on either day, which is noticeable in such a lovingly run restaurant. Secondly, the service wasn't particularly attentive – we weren't asked if everything was okay and had to approach the staff ourselves every time we wanted to order something or ask a question. Despite these shortcomings, we had two pleasant visits overall and can recommend the Nem Tropical. We give it 4 out of 5 stars and would be happy to return.

The food and drinks were very good. The main courses arrived before the drinks, a bit unusual but not a problem. Service was quick, but the place was a bit dark.

For the price, the food and service were okay. However, the hygiene has completely deteriorated. Upon entering, you can see dead flies lying on the decorations. The "play area" for children smells of old, wet rags. The tables are dirty and sticky. When you walk through the store, you can feel your shoes sticking to the floor.

The worst Vietnamese food ever!

It really couldn't be more perfect. NEM is my favorite restaurant. I go there with my brother every now and then and I'm never disappointed. Everything is delicious. You definitely can't complain.

The food deserves five stars. We had noodle soup and curry. The portions were just right—not too much, not too little. We also had five breaded mini rolls each, which tasted excellent. Unfortunately, there were also some negative aspects: - We were supposed to get the mini rolls as an appetizer, but we only received them after asking for the main course. Furthermore, only one portion was written down instead of two, and one was incorrect. - The staff didn't ask if we wanted any drinks or if we enjoyed our meal; it was very impersonal. - Some of the staff weren't tidy, wearing baggy pants, a shirt, and a cap. - Tables were numbered with adhesive tape.

I haven't had such average Vietnamese food in a long time. The service is also subpar. Starters and main courses are served together without any prior notice. Dishes are misunderstood when ordering. The food itself is unloving, bland, and cheap. Absolutely not recommended.

We went there for the first time today. The selection is huge. The food looks appealing. I felt it needed a bit more spice. Where it said "slightly spicy," there was no hint of the slight spiciness. But maybe that's how it is with Vietnamese cuisine. It was still tasty. The service was very friendly and attentive.

I can definitely recommend NEM. It's always busy, though, so everyone should reserve a table to be on the safe side. The service is smooth and, so far, always with a smile. I like to stop here to enjoy the delicious seaweed salad, some sushi, or another main course. I haven't been disappointed yet. I'd go back anytime.

Large selection of Vietnamese dishes and sushi. Seating is also available outside. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The interior is extremely large, although slightly divided, but you sometimes feel quite lost when it's packed. Otherwise, we really enjoy it here.

The biggest problem was the extremely unfriendly service – no smiles, no politeness, just annoyed looks and rude replies. We felt more like a nuisance than a welcome guest. The organization in the kitchen was also disastrous: appetizers and main courses were brought at the same time, which is simply unprofessional. Two of the four main courses took over 30 minutes to arrive, and only after asking twice did the rest of the food arrive cold. Then there was an unpleasant incident when paying: we were repeatedly told that card payments were supposedly not possible. After a 10-minute discussion, it was suddenly possible, without any technical problems, which seems more than questionable. The rest of the food tasted okay, but nothing special. The sushi was disappointing, and overall, the value for money was truly poor. Conclusion: Bad service, organizational chaos, dubious billing. We definitely won't be back and unfortunately cannot recommend the restaurant.

Highly recommended. I've had lassi in many restaurants, but this one is unbeatable. Both the mango and strawberry lassi. I'll try the other varieties on my next visit.

Delicious Vietnamese food in a nice atmosphere! The dishes were satisfying, but nothing that blew us away. Service was friendly but a bit slow given the full house. Overall a really nice evening.

We were really disappointed with my visit to this restaurant. The food was average but the biggest problem was the service. The female waiter was unfriendly, inattentive and seemed annoyed as soon as you asked a question or wanted to order something. There was no greeting, no smile - instead we were treated more like a burden. This makes you feel absolutely unwelcome as a guest. It's a shame, because the ambience had potential. We definitely won't be coming back and unfortunately we can't recommend this place.

There is really delicious and authentic food here, we've been there twice and it was really good. The sushi is also of great quality and doesn't contain too much rice. However, the staff isn't really attentive, no one came to the table to ask if everything was OK and no one came to pay, so we went to the front. The staff was in sight from time to time, but they didn't look; you would have had to shout across the store if you wanted something. Therefore unfortunately only 4 stars although the food is 5 stars.

The mango curry was super tasty and the portion of chicken was also very decent. The price-performance ratio was really very good and the food was there in 10-15 minutes. At first we had a waitress who was a bit grumpy and at the end we had a young man who was in a really good mood!

We spontaneously went to Nem Tropical during our lunch break and had high expectations due to the many very positive reviews. To put it briefly, our expectations were not only fully met, but even exceeded. Large selection of vegetarian dishes and all at low lunch prices. The drinks prices were also completely reasonable. An additional plus at this restaurant is that you can pay by card. We were totally thrilled and will definitely come back. Thank you and see you soon!

We were also charged for the food we originally ordered, even though we had to change it due to circumstances. As soon as we arrived we were ignored and not greeted, so we waited uncertainly until someone took care of us. Overall the service was disappointing.

Unfortunately, on a Saturday evening we had to wait 40 minutes before we were allowed to order and a total of 2 hours before we had food. Even though I had reserved. Unfortunately, the excuse that it was very crowded sounded like an excuse. Because the tables next to us were refilled 3 times in these 2 hours. So things went faster for them. We were probably overlooked. At least the food tasted very good, although unfortunately it was only lukewarm. And there was free juice as an apology. We had a lovely evening. But that was mainly due to our good mood. Not at the service.

We ordered our food. The sushi came immediately and was also delicious. After half an hour we asked for the rest and were simply told that the machine for it was broken without anyone telling us, meaning we would have been sitting here for another 3 hours if we hadn't said something and we wouldn't have gotten our food. We celebrated a friend's birthday at Nem Tropical and absolutely loved it! The restaurant offers a fantastic atmosphere with beautiful Asian decor. The food was simply delicious! I ate fried chicken fillet with rice - perfectly seasoned and prepared in an Asian style. Our group of six tried several different dishes, and everything was outstanding. We were particularly impressed by the quality of the food, which is well above average. And the best part? The prices are really fair! On average we paid around €20 per person for a substantial meal, including drinks. Each of us also had one or two glasses of beer - also at very reasonable prices. A special highlight: you can book a birthday surprise for a small fee! The restaurant congratulated our friend beautifully - a great idea for a special occasion! Overall a great experience! I will definitely come back and can only recommend this restaurant. If you're still thinking about it, don't hesitate - you'll be pleasantly surprised!

The food was very tasty. Portion was also completely sufficient. Service was so well, we were only served after we asked. Finishing WhatsApp messages was more important at first. Even though not everyone had finished eating yet, things were cleared up in between. I think there are little things that you should pay attention to. Otherwise everything was very stylishly furnished and as I said, the food was very tasty.

Ordered a table a week before Valentine's Day only to be pushed to a collective table in the restaurant while other couples were called through and given a table, just cheeky and unacceptable for a restaurant.

I've never experienced that in my life! We made a reservation 2 weeks ago and we still had to wait in line for at least 2 hours. That doesn't work at all! All the guests in front of me in line also had reservations. After asking directly, we were told to wait. Dear Nem team, that's exactly the reason why restaurants offer reservations so that you can get a guaranteed seat at the time you choose! You don't even need to try unless you wanted to wait 2 hours (on the weekend).

Absolutely recommended! Nice atmosphere with delicious food, minor deductions in the B grade because the food could have used a little more seasoning and especially salt... But in terms of the ingredients, the freshness and the quantity, everything is great!

The food was great, the ambience was great too... but the more crowded it gets, you can't see much of the service anymore. And the toilets aren't that great. The store is open all day and according to the statement the cleaner only comes in the morning. You notice that. In the evening there was paper on the floor in every toilet and everything was dirty, the floor was sticky and no one felt responsible to clean it up a bit every now and then. Too bad

The Asian restaurant offers solid cuisine in an attractive ambience. The food is freshly prepared and tastes good. The portions could be a bit larger for the price. The service is okay, but there was a bit of chaos when serving the food. The ambience is very nice and decorative.

Absolute impudence at take-away! I have been to this restaurant before and found it to be good. After ordering for pickup yesterday, I'm just disappointed. We ordered 2x curry and 1x vegetarian bowl. What we had to open at home was a complete disgrace. The food looked like leftovers were mashed together. The “crispy” chicken was mushy, I couldn’t lie and find a single piece of mango in the mango curry and there were individual iceberg lettuce leaves floating around in the sauce. What does this have to do with Asian cuisine? But the biggest shame was the block of tofu that was simply placed on the bowl in one huge piece. Completely unappetizing. I can only hope that the owners think about how they will deal with pickups in the future. So it's a complete rip-off and I can't recommend this restaurant.
