I was particularly impressed with the peanut curry dish, which was perfectly cooked, beautifully presented and had a decent amount of meat. The cocktail selection is also excellent, but I decided on a homemade strawberry lemonade, simply delicious. I will definitely come back and can highly recommend the restaurant!

We were really disappointed with my visit to this restaurant. The food was average but the biggest problem was the service. The female waiter was unfriendly, inattentive and seemed annoyed as soon as you asked a question or wanted to order something. There was no greeting, no smile - instead we were treated more like a burden. This makes you feel absolutely unwelcome as a guest. It's a shame, because the ambience had potential. We definitely won't be coming back and unfortunately we can't recommend this place.

There is really delicious and authentic food here, we've been there twice and it was really good. The sushi is also of great quality and doesn't contain too much rice. However, the staff isn't really attentive, no one came to the table to ask if everything was OK and no one came to pay, so we went to the front. The staff was in sight from time to time, but they didn't look; you would have had to shout across the store if you wanted something. Therefore unfortunately only 4 stars although the food is 5 stars.

The food tastes good, the price-performance ratio is reasonable.

The mango curry was super tasty and the portion of chicken was also very decent. The price-performance ratio was really very good and the food was there in 10-15 minutes. At first we had a waitress who was a bit grumpy and at the end we had a young man who was in a really good mood!

We spontaneously went to Nem Tropical during our lunch break and had high expectations due to the many very positive reviews. To put it briefly, our expectations were not only fully met, but even exceeded. Large selection of vegetarian dishes and all at low lunch prices. The drinks prices were also completely reasonable. An additional plus at this restaurant is that you can pay by card. We were totally thrilled and will definitely come back. Thank you and see you soon!

We waited two hours for our food without being informed that it could not be prepared due to technical problems. We were also charged for the food we originally ordered, even though we had to change it due to circumstances. As soon as we arrived we were ignored and not greeted, so we waited uncertainly until someone took care of us. Overall the service was disappointing.

We ordered our food. The sushi came immediately and was also delicious. After half an hour we asked for the rest and were simply told that the machine for it was broken without anyone telling us, meaning we would have been sitting here for another 3 hours if we hadn't said something and we wouldn't have gotten our food. In the end, we now have to order three times as much sushi as originally planned for a lot more money

Unfortunately, on a Saturday evening we had to wait 40 minutes before we were allowed to order and a total of 2 hours before we had food. Even though I had reserved. Unfortunately, the excuse that it was very crowded sounded like an excuse. Because the tables next to us were refilled 3 times in these 2 hours. So things went faster for them. We were probably overlooked. At least the food tasted very good, although unfortunately it was only lukewarm. And there was free juice as an apology. We had a lovely evening. But that was mainly due to our good mood. Not at the service.

We celebrated a friend's birthday at Nem Tropical and absolutely loved it! The restaurant offers a fantastic atmosphere with beautiful Asian decor. The food was simply delicious! I ate fried chicken fillet with rice - perfectly seasoned and prepared in an Asian style. Our group of six tried several different dishes, and everything was outstanding. We were particularly impressed by the quality of the food, which is well above average. And the best part? The prices are really fair! On average we paid around €20 per person for a substantial meal, including drinks. Each of us also had one or two glasses of beer - also at very reasonable prices. A special highlight: you can book a birthday surprise for a small fee! The restaurant congratulated our friend beautifully - a great idea for a special occasion! Overall a great experience! I will definitely come back and can only recommend this restaurant. If you're still thinking about it, don't hesitate - you'll be pleasantly surprised!

Ordered a table a week before Valentine's Day only to be pushed to a collective table in the restaurant while other couples were called through and given a table, just cheeky and unacceptable for a restaurant.

I've never experienced that in my life! We made a reservation 2 weeks ago and we still had to wait in line for at least 2 hours. That doesn't work at all! All the guests in front of me in line also had reservations. After asking directly, we were told to wait. Dear Nem team, that's exactly the reason why restaurants offer reservations so that you can get a guaranteed seat at the time you choose! You don't even need to try unless you wanted to wait 2 hours (on the weekend).

Absolute impudence at take-away! I have been to this restaurant before and found it to be good. After ordering for pickup yesterday, I'm just disappointed. We ordered 2x curry and 1x vegetarian bowl. What we had to open at home was a complete disgrace. The food looked like leftovers were mashed together. The “crispy” chicken was mushy, I couldn’t lie and find a single piece of mango in the mango curry and there were individual iceberg lettuce leaves floating around in the sauce. What does this have to do with Asian cuisine? But the biggest shame was the block of tofu that was simply placed on the bowl in one huge piece. Completely unappetizing. I can only hope that the owners think about how they will deal with pickups in the future. So it's a complete rip-off and I can't recommend this restaurant.

We easily got a table on a Sunday (snow and no peak time) without booking in advance. I really liked the ambience inside. What is positive is that there is an extra room for guests with children. I work in the pedagogical field, so I'm a bit sensitive, and when I was little, I never went out and about so as not to annoy anyone. For me, going out to eat is associated with relaxation. There is also a nice conversation at the end of the meal and I can't understand some of the 1 star reviews here, because there's probably a can of worms in there if you're really looking for something to complain about, but I can't confirm that, I'm happy to come here and that's it very often and almost every two weeks. Addendum: It's quite full there on the weekend and unfortunately the service staff can't keep up. We then had to call out a few times that we finally wanted to order. Very large, lots of space for many guests, which means long waiting times. There is a play room for children which is unfortunately very spartan and there is a lot of junk lying around there, for example mattresses and drink bottles, the toys are also very old, balls have hardly any air left, please replace these things because children often come with us to eat. Food is a bit too salty, which in my opinion is made specifically so that you drink more. So the fried noodles were so salty I couldn't eat them, my husband did. The coconut curry soup was also very salty, but I ate them anyway because I was hungry. The salmon is highly recommended, very fresh and tender but the ginger tea unfortunately didn't look nice, but in terms of taste I think the ginger was frozen food

Instead of accepting the feedback, they denied it and even hung up at the end. What a shame! It was about some rice. If you treat customers like that, you shouldn't be surprised that the customers don't necessarily come back. A trained employee would have simply accepted the feedback and apologized briefly. Then everything would have been okay. But standing up and basically claiming that you don't make any mistakes isn't exactly clever and perhaps a bit arrogant. And you can't hang up at all!

Not everyone likes it, I like it. If you're lucky, there are parking options on the street (charges apply) or in the Rothenfelder Straße parking garage.

I need to report abusive behavior I experienced at this restaurant. Unfortunately the staff here (lady with short black hair) tries to cheat the customers. She charged us €2.5 more on our bill and presented this amount to us as if it was part of our order. I even tipped her more since I was unaware of her evil practices. Since I always pay attention to what we order and wanted to check whether the quantity was correct, I asked for the printed invoice. Then she chickened out and kept coming and going and blubbering about the money. When she presented me with the bill and made it clear to me that she had tried to steal money, she immediately gave me back a 2 euro coin. Please be aware of such fraudulent practices at this location!
