Nazar Kebap & Grillhaus in Offenbach am Main

I ordered tripe soup and Adana kebab. It was very tasty and fresh. There was nothing missing at the table, even vinegar, oil, and garlic juice were there straight away for my soup. The order came in 10 minutes. The bread was freshly baked and fluffy, very nice. The staff were very friendly. The salad was served on a separate plate for each meal. I can say they were great people, I drove 50 km on a whim and it was well worth it. I will definitely visit the restaurant again. Highly recommended.

How unprofessional can you be? The tables weren't clean. The waitresses didn't even think about clearing away the leftovers from the previous person, let alone cleaning. And the best part is, after I ordered, we waited 35 minutes for the food even though the place was completely empty. After 35 minutes, my companion's food finally arrived and I had to wait another 15 minutes for my normal dürüm. It's unbelievable what goes on there and in the end I paid 47 euros for... a Beyti, a dürüm, a Coke and two ayrans. Unbelievable. I'll never set foot in the shop again and will advise all my friends and acquaintances to stay away from the shop. People, form your own opinion.

For 1 kebab and coke 18€ charged rip-off food is ok but for a few euros they want to cheat people 18 € for the rating is worth it ...not recommended

Everything was fresh and delicious! Definitely recommend!

Delicious, no matter what you order. Grilled meat is soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There's plenty of seating, both inside and outside. Parking is available in front of the restaurant. Most importantly, the meat is halal, and there's a prayer room.

The food is delicious but the service is overwhelmed with the situation. I didn't want a side dish, for example rice or fries. Instead I wanted 3 pickled pepperoni, which they wanted to sell to me. The food is okay, the service was not a disaster. Enjoy your meal.

Disappointing Visit – Unfortunately, the Last Time We were at the Nazar Restaurant in Offenbach for lunch and wanted to eat in peace. Upon entering – before we'd even sat down – we were immediately asked if we'd like a drink. We found this intrusive. In a good restaurant, you expect to be able to arrive and sit down in peace before your order is taken. After our food was brought to us, we constantly felt like we were being watched. It seemed as if the staff were practically waiting for us to finish eating. This intrusive attitude made us feel very uncomfortable. It was far from a relaxing meal – we felt pressured to eat quickly, pay quickly, and leave quickly. Furthermore, in our opinion, it's incomprehensible to charge €5.50 for a small portion of rice – this is disproportionate to the quantity or the rest of the menu. However, one hygiene incident was particularly shocking: A young employee, who apparently worked in both the kitchen and the service department, loudly blew his nose in the dining room – and then served guests. This is absolutely unhygienic and completely unacceptable in a restaurant. It's a shame, because we expected more. Unfortunately, this was our last visit.

We went out to eat with the class. Someone in the class ordered red soup. When the soup arrived, the waiter spilled half the soup all over my food, and I had to pay the full price for my kebab! 😤😤! Plus, the kebab meat was tough and dry!

Large selection and very tasty food!

Caution! The worst doner kebab I've ever eaten – absolutely not recommended! I'm not a squeamish person, but what I was served here was an absolute outrage. I was very hungry and just wanted something quick to eat – but this "doner" was simply inedible. The meat wasn't cooked all the way through. The texture was reminiscent of chewing gum – tough, rubbery, and almost impossible to chew. It got worse with every bite. If you looked closely, you could see thick, white pieces of skin in the meat, which in places were so hard that you could barely bite into them, let alone chew them. It was disgusting – there's no other way to put it. I pointed this out to the waiter, and the doner kebab was quickly taken to the kitchen. What happened next was an absolute disgrace: I was told that "no one has ever been dissatisfied with the meat" and that "everything was fine." No offer of a replacement, no concession – the kebab was simply placed back in front of me without a word. As I went to the checkout, I naively thought they'd at least have the decency to waive the amount – but no. Without batting an eyelid, they charged me the full price. For a dish that was objectively inedible. Apparently, they're more concerned with the money than with customer satisfaction. Goodwill? None. Customer service? Nonexistent. Criticism? Zero. The fact that they told me to my face that "no one has ever complained" while I was sitting at the table, obviously disgusted, says it all. This kind of disregard for feedback is simply unacceptable in the restaurant industry. This isn't about personal preference – it's about bad, undercooked meat with unappetizing ingredients. And that's an absolute no-go! I've eaten many kebabs in my life – but something like this has never happened to me. This was by far the worst kebab I've ever had. The waiters seem friendly, but they can't do anything—they just seem to do what you tell them. It's a shame that you're treated like this as a customer. Conclusion: I will never go to this restaurant again and strongly advise everyone to stay away. Anyone who values ​​quality, hygiene, and respectful customer service should definitely eat elsewhere.

The food was good, but I'd order something different next time. Prices are fair, and, best of all, you can pay with cash or card! 2025: The staff wasn't what I was used to (maybe it was just a stressful day). This is one of the best restaurants I have ever visited in Germany! If you find yourself in Offenbach, be sure to stop by, you won’t regret it. We ordered a plate with a grill mix – it literally had everything, and each dish was delicious. The hazelnut lahmacun was a pleasant surprise – original and very tasty! The service was beyond praise: they brought us tea exactly when we finished our meal, and when it got chilly outside, they thoughtfully offered us a blanket. The staff is friendly, sincere and creates a truly warm atmosphere. This evening was a real celebration of taste and comfort!

The food was cold. The service was inattentive. We were seated as a group. The plate was simply given to the first guest, who had to pass it on. The waiter didn't think it necessary to serve each guest a plate at their table. The restroom was very dirty. We drove around 30km from the surrounding area to Offenbach because we have always enjoyed eating at Nazar - especially because of the actually good taste. Today, however, we were disappointed: We ordered two Dürüm without onions to pick up and instead received two Dürüm that only had meat and onions on them - no other vegetables. Who eats a kebab that only consists of meat and onions? When we pointed out the error over the phone, the employee only responded with a curt “I’m sorry, Abi,” without an offer to make amends or replace it. Very disappointing service. Unfortunately that was our last visit.

Unfortunately, doner kebab is not that good. Grilled dishes were OK but the portion was too small. Sanitary facilities are very cramped and there is no paper, which is unhygienic.

It is one of the best restaurants I have ever been to in Germany. I would definitely recommend it if you happen to be in Offenbach. We had the mixed grill plate (it had everything in it and it was all great) and the hazelnut lahmacun. The service was top notch (our tea came as soon as we finished the meal, and a shawl was brought to us since it was a little chilly outside). Friendly and sincere staff.. It was a nice feast in every way..

The pizza was burnt. Dörum was very tasty. The staff collected before we were finished and we didn't feel comfortable. It seemed to me that they wanted us to leave quickly.

I've been there at least 3 days a week, I've been going there for 8 years, there's a lot of interest in it, the waiters greet me at the door, the food is so delicious, sometimes I buy two or three types at once, when I'm indecisive, the people who are making fuss here are after something else, I haven't seen anything like that in 8 years, the owner of the place is very welcoming and the staff is excellent, I recommend it to everyone.

Unprofessional service – disappointing experience I recently dined at this restaurant and unfortunately had an unpleasant experience with the service. When I asked to have the rest of my food packed, my request was not only met with inappropriate comments, but even ridiculed. Dealing with guests professionally looks different. It's a shame that what was actually a nice visit to the restaurant was marred by rude behavior. Friendliness and respect should be a given - unfortunately that wasn't the case here. I will avoid this restaurant in the future.

The service was very nice and the food was super tasty. The kebab more or less almost like everywhere else. But the other grill dishes make the difference. A large, beautiful atmosphere with plenty of space, even for families with small children. You feel very comfortable here.

Hello, Bought kebab yesterday in Lahmacun and in Sandwich. Meat, salad + sauce catastrophic. I had the feeling that the kebab was oversalted due to the meat. Worst kebab so far. I've already been to over 100 kebab shops. I'm annoyed that I relied on the recession because the kebab is really, really bad. I don't live in Offenbach, but I can't recommend it to you. There is construction everywhere at the moment. Also no friendliness at the checkout. The quality was really really bad👎

The staff is sullen. Food is okay. I ate alone for 15 Euros. I didn't have cash with me. I wanted to pay with a card, which caused problems. The employees are incredibly cheeky! We live around the corner and have been eating there for years. Unfortunately the quality and service is getting worse and worse. The employee who writes down the kebab to take away doesn't listen at all and assumes that the customers are lying. Absolute impudence. A kebab with little meat and more salad is not implemented as desired (see picture) but the tone and handling is worse, which is why our whole family will no longer eat there!

I have to revise my rating from 5 stars to 2 because a new waitress was in a hurry to take orders and couldn't even get it right. We had to change the order again due to her urgency and impatience. After all, we were a family with children and she was unhappy about my little daughter making a little mess, and the waitress makes noises like "Ts" and "Pff" after we leave the table, which shows how distressed she is to clean it!! That's awful. Unfortunately I have to deduct another star because of this unfriendly attitude!! If you are not a family friendly restaurant, put a sign in your restaurant and I won't come back!

The food was delicious. I also asked for sauce with the kebab. They charged an extra €1.50 for this, which we only noticed when paying. When we noticed that there was hair on the sauce and we wanted new ones, the employees ran back and brought us the same sauce again. Big disappointment! I have visited the store several times and can confirm that certain people repeatedly show themselves very disrespectful. The menu cards are thrown onto the table, the waitress rolls her eyes and expresses that she must have had a bad day or finds us, the customers, annoying, for whatever reason. A few weeks ago we ordered a large doner kebab to take away and I couldn't believe that there was hair in my kebab. I understand if it's a single hair, I still have that much understanding, but while eating I came across 2-3 more until I lost my appetite and threw the kebab into the trash can. It was very short hair that looked like stubble to me. Since this incident, I don't want to order anything from Nazar at all.

I don't recommend it, I ordered a package, I ordered one but when I got home I found that they had given us the wrong gerishte. After I called, an arrogant gentleman answered and told us that he couldn't help me with anything and that I shouldn't come to their restaurant anymore.

I have bought kebab here several times in the last few years and the taste, portion and price were good. But today I ate the second worst kebab I have ever bought in Germany. The thing was so over-seasoned that you couldn't taste ANYTHING other than Maggi!!! And even though I didn't even eat half of it for lunch this evening, the spices are still coming back to me in the evening!!!! I won't be buying kebabs there any time soon...

I am a person who just used the service for 22 people to eat and drink in the restaurant, but the service attitude of the young people in the restaurant is extremely poor. They laughed because I was a foreigner who wasn't fluent in German.

I got a kebab there and was disappointed by the size, it was really small and they made the bread smaller. I also think it's impertinent to ask for €1 for 10 pepperoni somewhere else, as guests, they give it away for free.

The food is always great as long as there isn't too much going on there. Extra wishes almost never work out. Just picked something up for lunch today, December 26th, 2024. Another dish wrong. Crispy meat made 2 out of 10 times. About 8 men work behind the counter, why can't anyone get the order CORRECT at least once? Everything has never been perfect but the potential is there. I don't know if I'll eat there again because I've actually lost my desire for fake food that isn't even cheap.

We were there very often as a family and when I brought my friends there and we had eaten together and had a nice chat, we got a Cay, wanted to let the food sink in and choose a dessert. When we asked for another Cay, we were told no. It would supposedly be empty. (the other tables all got Cay) only when we ordered dessert did the Cay arrive. They just wanted to get rid of us. I mean what kind of service is this? I haven't been able to complain so far, but that was just the bottom drawer. Awkward !

We came from Berlin to Offenbach for a few days. Berliners have a good ability to judge the quality of Turkish restaurants. But the Nazar really impressed us. The food there is absolutely amazing. The friendliness and service were really great. We would have loved to eat there every day. Unfortunately we had to leave again. This Turkish restaurant would fit seamlessly into the top 10 in Berlin. We are and were more than thrilled. Kind regards from Berlin!

It's an authentic place, but the flavors are excellent, the service is fast, but the staff don't get a chance to laugh much. I hope it depends on how busy they are on the weekend, but the food is amazing, congratulations, don't let it touch you. I can recommend the fried liver.
