Namaste India Restaurant Bonn in Bonn

I've been ordering from Namaste India for many years and was very satisfied until now. Unfortunately, yesterday I discovered that the service had deteriorated significantly. I had ordered food online and didn't see that pickup was only available. I noticed the error immediately after completing the order, so I called Namaste, explained my problem, and asked if I could cancel the order. The answer was that this wasn't possible and that the order would be ready for pickup in 25 minutes. I then borrowed a car and arrived at Namaste in Kessenich 35 minutes after ordering, and my order wasn't ready, let alone in preparation. I was then rudely told that I wanted to cancel and that I should read more carefully next time, as it stated on the website that no delivery was possible. I then had to wait another 15 minutes for my food, heavily pregnant, without being offered a drink or a place to sit. It's a shame, because the food is really good, but after their behavior, I won't be ordering from there again.

We've enjoyed coming here ever since it opened. The food has always been delicious, and the service has been very attentive. The interior is great, but you can also sit outside in a very relaxed atmosphere, especially on hot summer days, where it remains relatively pleasant.

The restaurant serves delicious food. We were there with friends and felt very well looked after. There was a buffet, so we were able to try a little of everything. The service was very attentive and friendly. We would be happy to come back. 👍

They were asking all the natives but not us except one Sardar ji (turban guy) he was good

I ordered several naan varieties and the children's menu for pickup. Everything would be ready in 15 minutes. When I arrived 15 minutes later, everything was packed and ready behind the counter. The problem was that no one could or would take my payment. Although I asked several times to pay for my food, I was told to wait a moment. Four people were working around me the entire time, making me feel like a complete intruder. In the end, it took 10 minutes before I could pay. It was a simple cash payment. The children's menu had cooled down accordingly, as had the warm naan options.

We were five adults, a teenager, and an infant. The staff and guests were truly fantastic! It was incredibly delicious! The buffet was fantastic! We'd love to come back! :-)

There are many delicious dishes that I have never seen/eaten before

We ate at Namaste India in Bonn Kessenich for the first time today, and it was truly delicious. We received a warm welcome, and the service was friendly and attentive. The price/performance ratio is definitely right. I recommend dish no. 39, the Tandoori Mixed Meat Sizzler Platter :-)

In my opinion, one of the best Indian restaurants in Bonn! The food is incredibly delicious, and the service is very friendly. I'd happily come back or order from here again soon.

Okay, the food (various variations of chicken) gets a full 5*. However, the dips for the papadum (with caraway seeds!) were unfortunately not explained or described. Substitutions for naan bread instead of rice were not possible. Unfortunately, the service was nonexistent after serving: from the time we wanted to pay until we finally went to the counter, we waited a full 20 minutes. Be careful: having food wrapped costs €0.90. This wasn't communicated either, and it was just a regular aluminum tray. In conclusion: delicious food, but we won't be going there again.

Great Indian food in a pleasant atmosphere The restaurant impresses with its cultural, clean, and cozy interior, which immediately creates a pleasant ambiance. A week ago we had dinner at Namaste with friends and decided on the buffet, which is offered on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. It was really great: there was quite a large selection of dishes, which tasted incredibly delicious. The service was very attentive and continually brought fresh naan (with and without garlic) to the table. The restaurant is absolutely recommended! Thank you for the lovely evening and we would love to come back.

Been coming here since they opened in Kessenich. I had long missed in Germany the quality of Indian food that you can get in Britain, and this place was one of the first to fulfil those expectations. We’re always made to feel welcome by the staff, the food is delicious (and actually had spice and flavours, something often left out at other restaurants to meet German tastes…). Great atmosphere. Prices are not the cheapest in the world, but fair for what you get, and if you go for the buffet you can get a great bargain 3 days per week.

Really the best restaurant I've been to so far. Had a date there, she eats vegan. We mentioned it and there were vegan options at the buffet, but the kitchen still made 3 more dishes without asking for more. Just an absolute dream. It tasted so good. I will definitely come here more often

Wir gehen immer wieder gerne hin und haben uns auch schon am Geburtstag mit der Familie dort verwöhnen lassen. Für jeden etwas dabei, egal ob man vegetarisch, vegan oder doch Fleischgerichte bevorzugt. In jedem Falle immer ein Feuerwerk des Geschmacks auf der Zunge. Nicht der Schärfe wegen, die kann man ja "anpassen" lassen.😅 Eher wegen der exotischen Gewürze.

Zum Mittagessen waren wir hier an einem Samstag mit fünf Erwachsenen und vier Kindern. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und das Essen hat allen gut geschmeckt. Für mich hätte die Portion ruhig ein klitzekleines Bisschen größer sein dürfen, aber Preis-Leistung war auf jeden Fall in Ordnung. Wir haben gemütlich gesessen. Alles in allem mit Kindern eine gute Wahl

Ordered food today via Lieferando. Initially 30-45 minutes delivery time. I called the restaurant for the first time at 8 p.m. and was told by a gentleman that the driver had just left. At 8:25 p.m. we called again and after several attempts a lady answered and she couldn't explain it all and wanted to call the driver. A feedback to us, none. At 8:30 p.m. I called the restaurant again, a lady answered again, the driver would be there shortly, I asked her if he would come on foot, because if the food takes over 30 minutes to travel, I eat a cold dish. Then a lady came at 8:58pm and brought us 2 dishes. That wasn't Lieferando. If you cannot make deliveries on time, you should not offer a delivery service.

Don't have it delivered - multiple delivery times of up to 2 hours... and no help when asked ("we don't have the driver's number"). We no longer order and switch to the competition.

Worst Restaurant in Germany in terms of customer service. Even though they have many waiters/ waitresses, none of them welcomed customers and make as if you are invisble. We kept waiting at the front ,even if there were empty tables, no one welcomed us, so we left.

Very nice, cheerful service, food is consistently good, prices okay. You have to make a reservation on weekends. There are buffet evenings if you like that (I prefer to eat from a menu). One negative point: Unfortunately, it is very loud, so that quiet conversations are hardly possible when the restaurant is full.

A dream for vegans! Several super delicious vegan dishes that are very clearly visible on the menu. We were there with a large group and the staff handled it so well. Everyone had their food at the same time and you could always order more rice.

Being an Indian I need to be honest here, I ordered food from the Menu and specially told them make it Indian Spicy and they did match the spice to authentic Indian level and dishes were really delicious, unlike the other Indian restaurants which are not really authentic.

Amazing experience, perfect place for a dinner with friends/family/team etc... the overall taste of food was great. The place was clean. There's also a jacket hanger in the front. Enough space for parking is also available. The size starters were quite small but delicious!

We stopped here on a longer bike tour and were immediately given a very friendly welcome. The service is really friendly and attentive. The food is not only deliciously prepared, but also tastes really great. The prices were appropriate for the quality and not too expensive. We would be happy to come back. I had dinner at Namaste India in Bonn and tried a few of their items. Overall, I’d give the experience 6.8/10: - Chicken Pakora: 6/10: Lightly breaded but not crispy, chicken was too dry - Shrimp Curry: 6.5/10: Curry flavour felt a bit lighter than expected, but was still okay. The shrimp was meh… - Chicken tikka: 7.5/10: Nicely presented. Decent pieces of chicken, but flavour was just okay and a bit dry. Nice veggies.

Delicious authentic neighbourly

Originally my favorite Indian restaurant, it has now unfortunately been replaced because my order did not arrive in full twice and the response on the phone was unsatisfactory. There was also a relatively high price jump. The food is very, very good, which makes it all the more disappointing that the service doesn't keep up

Everything is beautiful, reminds me a little of the Indian restaurants I know from Malaysia. The food is great, value for money is right, very friendly, attentive service, the subtle yogi music makes you feel gentle and relaxed and the decor is chic, a bit like a Maharadja palace. Location on the nice Kartäuserplatz in BN Kessenich is also nice. You feel like you're in the village.

I recently dined at Nameste India and was thoroughly impressed. The ambiance was inviting, and the staff were attentive. The chicken tikka masala was flavourful, and the lamb vindaloo was perfectly cooked. The naan was fresh and fluffy. Overall, a fantastic experience with authentic Indian cuisine. Highly recommend!

Both Chicken Mango Curry and Bhangen Masala are good..but definitely lack spices for more flavor. 11ˋ23: Waited only 36 minutes at lieferando instead of the predicted 60. Both Chana Masala, Alu Gobi Masala and Paneer Naan taste great. 12'22: Waited 83 minutes at Lieferando instead of the forecast 57. Mixed Vegetarian Masala is a little hot but otherwise insignificantly seasoned...not tasty. Namaste Chicken Tandoor s.gut. Butter naan unusually thick + unfortunately not crispy. January '22: Delivered almost on time..60min. instead of the predicted 48. Both chicken peanut and chicken mango curry taste great…highly recommended! January '21: Instead of lieferando's forecast of 53 minutes, it took 68...ok. Chicken Peanut +Chicken Tikka Masala awesome...I'll be back soon. May '20: Only 35 instead of 50 Mi. serviced at Lieferando. Instead of the delivery man putting the bag of food in front of the apartment door, he left it in front of the front door + I had to get it. Spicy lamb curry (ordered medium) was very spicy. ChickenTikkaMasala great. Unfortunately sauce leaked out of the packaging.

Pretty nice Indian Restaurant, the Buffet has a lot of delicious options. The naan bread is good (also included) delicious butter chicken and Tikka Masala. A really good option to eat Indian in bonn Kessenich.

The number 1 delivery service in Bonn - it couldn't be faster! It has already happened that a delivery takes longer than 30 minutes from the time the order is placed until the bell rings. Very bad experience with Namaste India Restaurant I recently had the dubious pleasure of ordering from Namaste India Restaurant and I have to say it was one of the worst experiences I have ever had with a restaurant. The worst thing, however, was the treatment of the staff. The delivery person called me and asked me to come downstairs to pick up my food. When I told him to please ring the bell and bring the food upstairs, he rudely replied, "Do you want the food or not?" Finally he reluctantly came upstairs, just left the food on the floor in front of my door and left without a word. I absolutely cannot recommend Namaste India Restaurant. Bad delivery times, poor service and incredible disrespect - I will definitely never order from here again.
