There you are, standing at a red light for a while. Your gaze falls on the beautiful geraniums on the patio fence. Then you decipher that they offer Vietnamese cuisine. Later, you find a parking space on the side street. You go inside. You receive a friendly greeting. There were no other customers besides me at this lunchtime. Since I also had little time, I just asked for a cappuccino. No, but he could offer me a Vietnamese ☕️ coffee, said the waiter. It was prepared quickly and freshly. Then he calmly explained everything to me: The hot water at the top had to run through first, then you had to place this little pot on the edge, and then stir the glass at the bottom thoroughly. The coffee variety, by the way, was Robusta. This was specially produced in Vietnam 🇻🇳 during the GDR era (due to a lack of foreign currency). Today, it is still produced in Vietnam, along with other varieties, and is mainly offered here in their restaurants. Very hearty and tasty! I'll be back soon and try the kitchen dishes. As soon as I arrived in Dresden, I was craving Korean food, so I quickly went to a Vietnamese pho restaurant. The taste was just okay!

A true experience! A fantastic restaurant, everything is just perfect: The food is incredibly delicious and prepared with great attention to detail. We especially love that you can look directly into the open kitchen and watch the chefs preparing the dishes – it's really fun! The ambiance is beautiful and inviting. The service was very friendly and attentive – you feel completely welcome. We always enjoy coming here. A definite recommendation!

We visited the restaurant for the first time on the recommendation of friends and acquaintances – and we were not disappointed. We called spontaneously about an hour in advance and luckily managed to get a table. The welcome was warm, the staff extremely friendly and attentive. There was no wait, and our requests and questions were addressed immediately. The place may be small, but it's very cozy, modern, and above all: absolutely clean. Everything you need is there – and attention to detail is taken care of. We would definitely be happy to come back!

A chic, modern ambiance that's nothing like the usual Asian restaurants; this is a clear evolution and a fitting addition to today's times. The food is perfectly seasoned, the meat is seared and then left to rest in the oven again; you can taste it. Everything is fresh, not frozen. Finally, something with love and quality, something Dresden desperately needs!

Today we visited this restaurant for the first time. The food was delicious and fresh, and the portions were very generous. It's also great that almost every dish on the menu has a photo, making it much easier to choose. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant and cozy, and the Asian spirit is evident in every detail of the decor. I also want to mention the staff, who are very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend it to lovers of Vietnamese cuisine. We will definitely come here again.

The food was outstanding! Com Rau Xao Hai San – the fried squid 🦑 – impressed with its delicious, excellent sauce, although pineapple with seafood might taste a bit too exotic for some. The udon noodles with duck were also very tasty and juicy. The overall atmosphere was cozy, and the service was very attentive and, of course, friendly. Definitely recommended. And special praise for the menu design. Unfortunately, pictures are often missing in German restaurants, even though they actually make you hungry even more. So, you'll definitely come back here :)

Best pho outside of Vietnam! The pho was absolutely outstanding – a clear, rich broth, perfectly seasoned, and full of flavor. The beef was tender, the herbs fresh and plentiful. You can taste the quality and dedication in every bite. If you love pho, you should definitely try this place!

This was our third time here. In total it felt like 5 hours waiting for drinks, food and for someone to come over. The Aperol Sprizz had no spritz. Food already looks delicious. But it's probably so crowded because everyone waits so long. Too bad. We live around the corner, but that won't work anymore. Last time it was said that there were few staff at the moment...

Basically you can't complain about the service, the employees are very friendly. But it would be really nice if the menu also stated what was included in the dishes. Especially when it comes to allergens like milk and eggs. I had flat rice noodles with vegetables and tofu. This dish also contained egg and unfortunately that wasn't on the menu. My husband had a coconut curry with tofu and, as we discovered relatively late, it was made with milk. It wasn't on the map either. And generally there were indications of allergens in the dishes. They're just incomplete. Maybe we could still work on it. But as I said, the service was very nice, hence 3 stars.

I ate at Nam Dinh for the first time today. It was tasty and the portion size was sufficient. Unfortunately the prices are already very high, a tea for €6 is already a luxury. Some of what was on the menu wasn't there, which probably shouldn't be the case given the prices. But the hardship was that in the end, when you took something home, you had to pay very expensively for the outer packaging (very small) at €2. Next time I would probably come by with my Tupperware container, but I have to save up for it first.

This was our third time visiting. The food is really damn tasty. The service very good. The dining room is beautiful but a bit cold, I don't think the music (piano, violin) quite fits the ambience. You expect something different. The chairs could be a little more comfortable to sit on. We'll still come back.

Food delicious, presentation great... Very long wait for drinks 40 minutes, for food 1.5 hours. Only recommended if you are not hungry.

Overall a nice restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. Unfortunately the restaurant was very full (Saturday evening) and therefore very loud. Maybe things are a little quieter during the week, but I can't say that. The staff was friendly and tried hard, but unfortunately very disorganized. Given the number of tables and people that can be served, a digital ordering system would be appropriate. This would probably make things easier for the staff. Unfortunately, it took over 45 minutes until we were served for the first time and were able to order drinks. These came about 15-20 minutes later. 45 minutes later we received our food. The food was great, but it didn't make up for the very long wait. The menu cards are very attractively designed. If necessary, the dishes could be given a number, as the names of the dishes are difficult to pronounce and difficult to understand when repeated by the service staff. Even though it is a Vietnamese restaurant and probably not to be expected otherwise, I would say that the majority of people who visit this restaurant do not speak Vietnamese. Price-performance in terms of food is ok, but unfortunately not in terms of service. There is definitely room for significant improvement. My conclusion: Good Vietnamese restaurant. If you have enough time and don't mind having to wait a little, you can definitely have a delicious meal here.

Duck tastes like bubble gum...just chewy Noodles are spicy even though you don't ask for it (to take away) so it's not for anyone who can't tolerate it Spring rolls with glass noodles, why do you do that? I'm happy when our Chinese man comes back from vacation.

Great Vietnamese!!! A little more expensive than average, but very high quality food and the price is justified in my opinion! The menu was also great - there was a corresponding photo for every dish ;) Our main courses: Bin Nem, Pho Curry with chicken and Vietnamese noodles with tofu.

Incredibly delicious food. Really nice location and great service. Been there a few times now and have a favorite dish too. Wanted to try something different today, but got the regular dish again, I guess due to language barriers. But no problem at all, as always, it was super, super tasty!

Out of the house on Monday evening, we tried something new. In Nam Dinh, there we looked, curious about the card paper. Inner joy, from the beginning, because everything sounded really delicious. And the pictures in addition, very good for the appetite, promised in addition to enjoyment also something for the eye until the end. That was the drink question the quick answer: “lemonade.” Those from top to bottom, with passion and fruity colorful, rested in the glass room, until the end "Such a shame", Step by step, close to the ground, there wasn't a drop left to be had. The dishes looked artistic, turned out to be a culinary delight. With a view of the kitchen stove, where flambéed and highly sought after, put the ingredients together, until they disappear from the pan, to be very aesthetically pleasing on the plate prepared and frenetic conjure up on the guests' table, while they are still chatting happily. The kindness honors the evening, Nam Dinh is highly recommended.

We were in Nam Dinh for the first time today and I can already say it was definitely not the last time. The ambience is cozy, modern and seems harmonious. The restaurant is very clean and you can take a look into the kitchen from the dining room. Despite the store being full, the staff was very friendly, quick and professional. And now let's get to dinner. It was delicious, I had Pho Nam Dinh and what can I say, the soup was outstanding. Oh my family's food was first class and delicious. The plates were well prepared and the portions were sufficient. We can really recommend Nam Dinh to everyone without reservation. 👍🏻 We will be back definitely.
