Nam Dinh – Vietnam Authentic Cuisine in Dresden

Incredibly delicious food. Really nice location and great service. Been there a few times now and have a favorite dish too. Wanted to try something different today, but got the regular dish again, I guess due to language barriers. But no problem at all, as always, it was super, super tasty!

Out of the house on Monday evening, we tried something new. In Nam Dinh, there we looked, curious about the card paper. Inner joy, from the beginning, because everything sounded really delicious. And the pictures in addition, very good for the appetite, promised in addition to enjoyment also something for the eye until the end. That was the drink question the quick answer: “lemonade.” Those from top to bottom, with passion and fruity colorful, rested in the glass room, until the end "Such a shame", Step by step, close to the ground, there wasn't a drop left to be had. The dishes looked artistic, turned out to be a culinary delight. With a view of the kitchen stove, where flambéed and highly sought after, put the ingredients together, until they disappear from the pan, to be very aesthetically pleasing on the plate prepared and frenetic conjure up on the guests' table, while they are still chatting happily. The kindness honors the evening, Nam Dinh is highly recommended.

We were there for dinner as a family of 4. Very tasty food, everything freshly prepared (you can watch the cook through a glass window), meat and fish cooked to perfection, perfectly seasoned and very attractively presented. The atmosphere is very cozy, with lots of wood and subtle lighting. Staff is friendly and helpful. Price-performance is more than justified. We'll definitely be back. We were in Nam Dinh for the first time today and I can already say it was definitely not the last time. The ambience is cozy, modern and seems harmonious. The restaurant is very clean and you can take a look into the kitchen from the dining room. Despite the store being full, the staff was very friendly, quick and professional. And now let's get to dinner. It was delicious, I had Pho Nam Dinh and what can I say, the soup was outstanding. Oh my family's food was first class and delicious. The plates were well prepared and the portions were sufficient. We can really recommend Nam Dinh to everyone without reservation. 👍🏻 We will be back definitely.

Were in the restaurant for the first time, luckily we had a reservation for 5.30 p.m. - shortly afterwards the restaurant felt like it was there. The selection of dishes is very large, luckily you almost always have a picture on the menu and know roughly what the dish looks like. The food was delicious - highly recommended. The service works quickly, but unfortunately communication with individual service employees is difficult (language problems). Nevertheless, we can highly recommend the restaurant - please remember to reserve a table.

We were there on a Saturday lunchtime and had a seat right next to the kitchen, from where you could watch the food being prepared. The homemade lemonades are highly recommended. The food was also very tasty and filling! We were also served very friendly. Overall it was a very harmonious experience!

We ate here for the first time on June 28, 24 on the occasion of a birthday for two. Great menu with photos. Cozy dining room and friendly service. Nam Dinh soup, pho curry and baked banana are highly recommended.

The food is super delicious, one of the best restaurants in Dresden. I can recommend the appetizer platter for 2. The waiters and the chef are super friendly and the chef is very quick. I recommend the restaurant 100%. Food top looks like the taste 👍🫶.

The taste was good, including the soup with rice noodles and a bit of beef for €18, much too expensive, as was the soda for €7.00. Price performance doesn't really fit.

We can only recommend Nam Dinh. Every dish was prepared with fresh ingredients, seasoned well and tasted delicious. Not only the food, but also the homemade lemonades are super refreshing and delicious. Particularly noteworthy is the extremely friendly and attentive staff. You always feel well looked after. If you want to take a trip to Vietnam, you should simply visit this restaurant. :)

They charged us 6€ too much out of the tip. We already gave the tip extra for 5 euros and we have just realized it at home. That they charged us the drinks with their own price not same as what it stated in the menu. It stated in the menu €2.99 and we ordered two drinks. And they charged us €11.98 instead of only €5.98 and plus we gave him also €5 extra. Because actually at first the guy who served us was nice enough but talk too much. (maybe then from the conversation, he realized that we have never been there and kind of new). So it was actually 11€ for bulshitt. Not worth it to go back there again only to ask the rest of that 6€ (because the place is quiet far from our home and not worth it the gasoline!) At first, I was thinking to plan to go there again someday but as we arrived home and checked again the receipt, I realized there was something wrong and they charged us too much. And it was our first time and will be our last time. Unfortunately, so dissapointed with that unhonest way of doing the business. Bery unprofessional, you charged the drinks extra and not the same what the price stated on the menu. And plus this restaurant is so expensive if you compare to other Vietnamese Restaurant in Dresden. ______________________________________ They overcharged us €6. We had already tipped an extra €5 and just noticed it when we got home. They charged us their own price for the drinks, not what was on the menu. The menu said €2.99 and we ordered two drinks. Very nice atmosphere, very friendly welcome. We were completely amazed by the food. It was very creatively prepared, hot and incredibly tasty. No long waiting times despite being busy. Well, I've never eaten better and here you can eat with your eyes in mind. Prices are realistic. Ambiance is great, music is quiet in the background. Staff is very friendly, waiting times for the food are short, the only negative point is that you could eat if there isn't much going on afterward Ask for food if you would like anything else. (but that also depends on the staff) In any case, highly, highly recommended. Always happy.

I ordered food here for the first time today to pick up. When I entered I was greeted warmly and after a short wait my food was ready. Very, very tasty and very appetizing. I can't rave about it enough! I have been to this restaurant more than three times and have been impressed every time. The food is simply amazing - so authentic in taste and appearance. The atmosphere is incredibly nice and the staff is extremely friendly. I find it particularly impressive that you can look through a window into the kitchen and watch the chefs preparing the food. Their calm and professionalism exude an incredible calmness that definitely affects the quality of the food. Even when the restaurant is busy, the food is always served in TOP quality and quite quickly. And the best thing is: the food on the plates looks exactly like the pictures on the menu! I honestly can't find a better Vietnamese restaurant in Dresden. Keep it up! It's definitely worth ordering in advance in the evening.

The closure of the “Trattoria Stradivari” was a real “culinary” loss in Leuben. Yesterday there was a big surprise...the first visit to "Nam Dinh"...You immediately feel at home; what a great ambience...service, quality and variety of food, simply perfect! An absolute recommendation. A spontaneous visit during the week should work without a reservation; Otherwise: reservation online or by telephone. Look forward to it!

I ordered from Lieferando and the food looks like a painting even though it was delivered. Really wow. And it tastes so good. We've also eaten there and everything was top notch. Mega restaurant, totally professional and friendly. I recommend it to everyone.

One of the best restaurants 🎉 I had the mango salad with duck. The duck was just amazing. Thinly sliced, slightly pink and juicy fried. Taste explosion 🤤👍 Service was great, overall everything was perfect. Reservation in advance is necessary. Free parking possible on the side street.

Best Vietnamese in all of Dresden!

In our opinion, this restaurant has a very nice and cozy atmosphere. The very tasty dishes are prepared in an open kitchen with fresh ingredients and the main courses are all served at the same time so that you can eat together. When we visited, it was quite cool where we were sitting and unfortunately the table lamp didn't work. The service is very friendly and quick. The four of us paid just under 130 euros for a starter and non-alcoholic drinks, which I found to be quite expensive but justified by the fact that the food was really fresh and tasty. A visit is definitely worth it for anyone who likes Vietnamese cuisine or wants to try it.

Das Restaurant kommt mal nicht im typischen Asiastyle daher, sondern mit frischem Look. Wir waren zu 8 Personen gekommen. Die Bestellungen wurden ohne aufschreiben entgegen genommen , da war das Durcheinander vorprogrammiert. Es musste alles schnell gehen. Der Kellner wirkte ungeduldig auf mich. Als die Speisen dann von einem anderen Kollegen gebracht wurden, der schlecht deutsch gesprochen hat und auch die Namen der Gerichte nicht genau wusste, war das Chaos perfekt. Das Essen war auch nicht richtig heiß. Geschmacklich war es sehr gut , da kommt man nicht meckern. Insgesamt denke ich, wenn wir weniger Personen gewesen wären, wäre das Essen mehr zu unserer Zufriedenheit gewesen. Schade

Das Essen hat fantastisch geschmeckt. Würde fast sagen, dass wir noch nie so gut vietnamesisch gegessen haben. Die Einrichtung ist sehr geschmackvoll und gemütlich. Alles ist sehr sauber. Absolut zu empfehlen!!

Das Restaurant hat eine geschmackvoll, gemütlicher Atmosphäre und eine Speisekarte die seinesgleichen sucht. 6 verschiedene Essen gewählt, 6 x Gaumenschmaus bekommen. Serviert wird auf superschönem Geschirr, das Auge ist ja bekanntlich mit. Das Gemüse auf den Punkt gegart, leckere Soße, besonders die Teryaki-Soße ist zu empfehlen und perfekt gegartes Fleisch. Besser geht nicht!

Absolute Top Adresse! Sehr gemütliches Ambiente, mega leckeres Essen und ein sehr freundlicher Service...hier muss man sich einfach wohlfühlen. Wir waren schon mehrmals hier essen und egal was man probiert- es ist einfach mega lecker. Habe heute die Phô - Spezialität des Hauses- probiert und diese war einfach perfekt! Wir waren zur Geburtstagsfeier dort eingeladen, es ist Geschmackssache uns hat es nicht so gut gefallen, es war Alles sauber und ordentlich, das Essen war schon soweit ok aber eben nicht so unser Geschmack. Die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich, da kann man nicht meckern.

Sehr leckere autentische vietnamesische Küche. Schöne Sommerterrasse. Offene Küche, mann kann den Köchinnen bein kochen zuschauen. Probiert unbedingt das vietnamesische Bier oder die alkokolfreien Drinks.

Dieses asiatische Restaurant zählt zu den besten in Dresden. Wir waren innerhalb weniger Wochen 2x dort und die bestellten Hauptgerichte waren sehr lecker. Das Gemüse war knackig, die Ente und das Hühnchen waren zart. Wir wurden von der freundlichen Inhaber-Familie betreut und konnten sogar kulturelle Eindrücke gewinnen. Wir werden sicherlich wiederkommen, auch wenn wir dafür quer durch Dresden fahren müssen.
