Made a standard reservation and we were supposed to sit outside in 14 degrees - no thanks - never again - poorly organized

An interesting culinary journey through Greek cuisine.

We came across this restaurant through Facebook. Four of us were there and can only say good things. The food was incredibly tasty, the staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was very cozy. The only negative point was the drink prices, which are very close to the limit. 8 laps in 2 hours is impossible, but nobody can do 8 full laps. Can only recommend it and will definitely come back again.

We went to the all you can eat. . . It's a cool idea, but unfortunately the system hasn't been implemented quite as well yet! We had to wait a long time for our food and unfortunately always forgot what we had ordered! But the food was very tasty. . . Personally, I found the aioli to be too salad-mayonnaise-heavy, but for me it had nothing to do with garlic!

The four of us tried the all you can eat and were very impressed. The orders arrived very quickly and hot too. If something was missing, which can happen given the rush, it was delivered very quickly. The concept is completely sufficient with 5 portions in 8 rounds every 15 minutes. Very nicely decorated restaurant with charm. The service was very accommodating. Only the coziness of the get-together is over after 2 hours - I would have liked to have a coffee in peace and chat a bit :). We were aware of the 2 hour limit beforehand. There is only limited accessibility for wheelchair users. The access (terrace) has 2 stairs. A table with enough space was allocated in the restaurant. The toilets were in the basement and therefore inaccessible.

Great offer with Meze all you can eat on Mondays and Tuesdays. Never seen Greek cuisine like this before!

I can highly recommend this place. Nice staff, relaxed atmosphere, chic decor and very tasty food. The price is relatively expensive, but the portions are large and I think it's worth it. There is also extra food for younger guests with very tasty gyros. But there is also vegetarian gyros.

Unfortunately, the first of us (12 people with a reservation) arrived 20 minutes late and so we were all disgraced and were greeted with “the table must be free in 1.5 hours, then other guests will come”… well, what can I say, we were finished after 1 hour and 20 minutes, because the “cold shoulder” didn’t let us like or enjoy the (á la carte, untypically Greek) food. And the constant question of whether the plates could be cleared away actually made it very easy for us to leave the shop without desert. But with anger in my stomach instead of delicious food. Well. This is how it can work. So dear people/readers, be good and punctual and ask BEFORE whether you only have a “time window”. Conclusion: No, thank you. Never again. Too bad.

A stylish restaurant with a manageable but interesting menu. We were there for lunch and really enjoyed the stay. The starter and main course were deliciously seasoned and tasted very good. The service is very friendly and attentive. We can happily recommend the restaurant and will definitely come back.

A very cozy restaurant with very tasty food. We went there for the all you can eat meal and it tasted delicious. The food was warm, flavorful and there was plenty of choice. You can order 5 small dishes each for 8 rounds. After 3 rounds we were really full...no one goes home hungry. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Price/performance ratio is great. We'll definitely come back.

Hello, thank you very much for the evening. The quality of the food was really excellent. We didn't really understand the all you can eat concept. Since the portions were very small in the first round, we also had more starters. We assumed that the meat dishes would come in similar portions. It would have been nice if the waitress had pointed out to us that this wasn't the case. So we had way too much and had to give something back. We should then pay for that too. Basically, I'm very much in favor of something like this happening in the sense of food waste, but we didn't feel entirely guilty about it. Maybe you can point this topic out to new guests in the future. Otherwise the evening was very nice, the ladies did a good job and, as I said, the food was of high quality and very tasty. We've been there twice for the all-you-can-eat option. It's really nice with the small portions. Everything was delicious, and the meat, in particular, was superbly prepared. The selection always changes slightly for more variety. A great concept, but it was a bit of a shame that the waiters sometimes couldn't tell which dish was which, but maybe the young waiter was new. We didn't notice this on our first visit.

We tried the all you can eat “Meze by Mythos” with 8 people on Monday. It is perfect for feasting on Greek cuisine. The staff is very attentive, covers empty bowls straight away and brings new orders quickly. As always, the quality was very good and we were thrilled with the taste. Gladly again, even if you eat too much to try everything. It is good for several people to share the portions. Highly recommended.

We visited the Greek restaurant Mythos for the first time yesterday. We had to wait about 30 minutes for a reserved table, but then we were given a really comfortable and attractive seat. The service, I'll say up front, was truly above average. The dishes on offer were consistently delicious, but, as mentioned several times, some of the portions were quite large, making it difficult to sample the entire menu. We ate all of the ordered dishes except for half a bifteki, which ultimately ended up being added to the bill as "food waste." I think the principle is good, but I think that with a turnover of over 145 euros, the two-euro fine shouldn't have been necessary, as it somewhat spoils the otherwise very positive impression – especially since we had to wait in the rain outside the restaurant for half an hour without a problem, despite a correct reservation.

Today I had the pleasure of trying your "all you can eat" menu for the second time, and it was a wonderful experience! The selection was very good, and I was able to sample several dishes that I particularly enjoyed. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Overall, it was a great evening that I would gladly repeat!

Were here for the second time and the 40 minute drive is definitely worth it! Super nice and courteous service and the food was always perfect! We would perhaps like a small selection of desserts, but that is “complaining” at a high level. We'll definitely be back :)

First of all, the food, service and friendliness were really excellent. We were there for all you can eat. You can choose 5 dishes every 15 minutes for a total of 2 hours so you could get 40 dishes. Theoretically, between the two of us we could have had 80 dishes. We managed 34 together. In some cases the portions are simply too large for you to really try your way through the entire menu. Which is a real shame. The concept is of course well thought out at this point. I can't imagine that anyone there would actually manage 40 portions. The price-performance ratio is completely OK here. With a few exceptions (two dishes were oversalted, that can happen), the taste of the dishes was also very good. All dishes are listed for ordering in the app, which you can scan there to order. What is not noted there, however, is that there are dishes for which a 2.00 euro surcharge is required for the all-you-can-eat price. In my opinion, something like this doesn't belong in a complete price. Either you take such dishes off the menu or forego the surcharge entirely. We noted this when paying and got the overpaid money back without any problem. Overall we were very happy here.

We were here last night for the all you can eat offer and can only recommend it! I have never eaten such perfectly cooked dishes from a Greek restaurant - which is really remarkable given the range of dishes that come out mixed in such a short time. The dishes are a good size, so many start to struggle by the 3rd round! This must be taken into account when choosing dishes. Next time, for example, we would forego the side dishes such as fries and salad in order to be able to try more of the other dishes. I thought it was very good that the only point of criticism was immediately resolved! This refers to the offer and that 3 dishes cost a small surcharge of 2 euros (salmon, sea bream and lamb chops). However, these ingredients are of really outstanding quality, so the extra charge is justified. Otherwise, it is pointed out in a friendly but firm manner that the food should also be eaten. So you really have to pay attention to how many rounds you order and the restaurant reserves the right to charge a price of 2 euros per 100g for uneaten food. Very good against food waste! The atmosphere was very good and the staff friendly. The chairs are very comfortable and the food is simply fantastic! We went home full and would recommend it to anyone who wants to try different dishes at a Greek restaurant without always getting a completely filling portion of them.

All in all, good to very good. It just has its price, taste good to very good, service really bomb, ambience (we were sitting at the front in the entrance area) a bit hectic and loud. But we'll definitely stop by again. By the way, the best pork steak I've ever eaten. Super juicy and well seasoned.

We went to this cozy restaurant for Meze All you can eat. And the diversity almost overwhelmed us. There is something for every taste here. The portions are completely sufficient and extremely tasty. The service staff is attentive, fast and friendly, and in my opinion the price-performance ratio is excellent. Even though Dülmen is a bit away from Gelsenkirchen... We'd love to come back.

Wir waren neugierig auf die verschiedenen griechischen Speisen die man dort Montags und Dienstags probieren kann. Es war sehr gut das wir recht früh dort waren. Die zwei Stunden Zeit zum durchprobieren sind echt knapp. Viele Gäste haben auf einen frei werdenden Tisch gewartet. Die meisten Speisen haben uns gut geschmeckt. Später wurde es dann sehr voll und das Essen wurde dann zum Teil nicht mehr richtig gegart.

Admittedly a bit skeptical because of the "rules" (every 15 minutes up to 5 portions, up to 8x) whether you really get reasonable portions and are full. I'll say in advance, we left full and happy 😅😍 The portions of many dishes are full size or close to it. So think carefully beforehand about what you want to try, you'll feel full more quickly than you think. Everything was of incredibly good quality. It's been a long time since I've eaten such tender meat in a Greek restaurant. The service is very attentive and friendly. The timing rules are more of a rough guide. And the ambience is just the icing on the cake. The only point of criticism, if you will, is that the dishes are all very fatty. But you can't go on a diet in one evening here anyway. Price performance is perfect.

During my holiday in the area I had dinner again at Mythos in Dülmen. The food is of excellent quality and the price is okay. Owners are friendly. You can pay in cash or with EC. I would love to go there again next time.

Went to Mythos for the first time and were thrilled. Quite expensive, but also high quality!! The food, the ambience and the attentive service were worth every euro.

We were guests for the “Valentine's Dinner” because of the fb advertisement and had made a reservation. The reception was very friendly, the atmosphere was very chic. We were brought to the table and given the menu quite quickly. But that was it for now. For Valentine's Day, which was specifically advertised, there were neither a few flowers on the tables nor was there candlelight. We had to wait quite a bit to order our drinks. Unfortunately, when we gave them up, including ordering bread and dip, a lot of time passed before the drinks arrived. We waited what felt like forever for the starter and had to ask again. But what was extremely annoying was the telephone. We had the impression we were sitting in an open-plan office ;) A different ringtone and perhaps a little quieter would be nice. The food came much quicker and was very tasty. Special requests were responded to in a friendly manner. The price is relatively high in relation to the performance. Unfortunately, the evening had nothing to do with the Valetin’s menu, as only the normal selection from the menu was available. So a “normal” restaurant visit on a normal day. It's a shame, we were hoping for something different. Maybe we'll come back and test again :)

Good food and nice atmosphere. In contrast to many other Greeks, the decor here is not kitschy, but rather decorated in a modern Greek style with beautiful photos and decorative elements. The food is plentiful and very good, everything prepared fresh and succulent. The service is good and so are the prices.

The two of us went there to test the all you can eat. I was a little worried that it would amount to a cramming, as with a 2-hour limit and service at the table (no buffet) everything could be very tight. I have been convinced of the opposite. No time pressure, no tight tables, no rush. Nice staff and very concerned about the guests' satisfaction. The conditions shown for "all you can eat" are not final and time limits are fluid. The quality of the food and the presentation is appropriate. The whole process is calm and absolutely fitting. At the end you ask questions to get feedback, which is also pleasant. My impression of this restaurant and the food is very positive, there is only one damper, a drink 0.3 (apple spritzer or cola) for 5.30 - I personally don't think it's appropriate.

Dear friends of Greek cuisine, the wait was worth it! Big compliment to the Boskos family! You can only feel comfortable in the thoroughly renovated restaurant. And then the kitchen, wow! We really enjoyed the wine and food, great level! The food does not have to fear comparison with significantly more expensive restaurants. We like being here. We feel comfortable in the atmosphere and the service is friendly, not intrusive, but always there. Everything starts with a chic and very tasty greeting from the kitchen and ends with a drink from the house. We definitely recommend the starters. There is an unusually large selection here that could also serve as a main course. So a thumbs up from us.

My husband and I were here for the first time because the restaurant where we actually wanted to go was closed at the time. The outdoor terrace and the interior are comfortably furnished. The staff served us very friendly and attentive and the food tasted good. Not our first port of call yet but definitely still suitable for testing in the future👍🏻.

We can only agree with all the positive reviews. We came to this restaurant based on a recommendation. Really delicious and great. But. A very big BUT, the prices don't match. On average 10-15 euros too expensive for two people. A handful of farmer's salad for 15 euros. too expensive. Yes delicious. In our opinion the price is not right. Unfortunately, we won't be permanent guests because of this.

It was, once again, a beautiful evening in Mythos. The staff was very hospitable and provided a quality of hospitality that you don't find everywhere. The atmosphere is very cozy and modern. What I particularly like here is the idea of ​​sustainability: Very easy to wipe clean (cleaned/disinfected after each guest) place runners on each table. Instead of candles, there was a modern, heavy LED table lamp that really looks great (not the cheap LEDs from Partylight) Beforehand there was a “greeting from the kitchen” with fresh bread. The side salad was really well prepared and served perfectly. The gyros were really deliciously seasoned and neither too greasy nor too dry - just perfect! It's not the "secret tip" for nothing ;-)

One word: fantastic 🎉. Service was top. Super friendly and attentive service in an upscale but cozy atmosphere. Ouzo 🍶 was of course also served by the host as a nightcap at the end. And the food? Top. Very tasty and portion-wise decent. I had the fish platter 🐟 and can highly recommend it. But you shouldn't miss the appetizers either. The only “negative point” is the price 💵. It's not cheap to eat here, but given the overall package you get, the price is completely reasonable. So: Still no idea for your next dinner date? Off to Mythos 🇬🇷 in Dülmen!
