Great place in lovely area. Scottish visitors with no german and a coeliac wife. The gluten free base was the best we've had anywhere and non GF pizza was amazing too. Thoroughly recommended.

Great pizza, it’s flavorful, has quality toppings, and a nice char to it. Salad was fresh and delicious. Nice variety of beers to choose from. Can pay by credit card.

One of the best gluten-free pizzas you can eat!! We ate there on Saturday and had a really lovely evening. We ordered the delicious Pizza Carbonara and a gluten-free Pizza Fancy. The Pizza Carbonara was delicious and something unusual with the salmon. The pizza dough was super tasty, and I especially liked the crust. The gluten-free Pizza Fancy was great and got 11/10. The gluten-free pizza dough is super tasty, and for us, it was the best gluten-free pizza we've eaten in Europe to date! The service and the restaurant were also great! If we're in Frankfurt again, we'll definitely come back! Thank you for such a great meal!

I was there 2 times. This place aerved pizzas I never tasted before. They mixed iranian taste with the perfect italian taste. They serve tasty coffee with tasty cake. I definitely recommend. Lightning and design is so cosy and nice☺️

I absolutely love Mystery of Pizza and the team there. The vegan options with Build Your Pizza are fantastic, and they've done something with their gluten-free base, which has gotten even better since the last time! They also have a fantastic wine selection 😍 I would come much more often if they opened a little earlier! Very small, cozy space; reservations are recommended, especially for larger groups (up to 10 people).

The pizza is actually only suitable for eating in, as the toppings quickly make the base soggy, and the weight of the toppings makes it impossible to eat by hand. The taste is OK, but nothing exceptional. Especially not for the price of €20 per pizza...

The pizza is really generously topped, but I still find the prices too high for a pizza. The vegetarian version is just as expensive as meat or fish.

As an Italian I can assure you that the pizza is excellent. Of course, some combinations here wouldn't even come to mind after a troubled night (pizza with chicken or avocado... my god) However, by choosing a classic base and adding one or two ingredients, you will have a pizza that has nothing to envy of those at home. Congratulations. Also gluten free

If you love Neapolitan pizza, this is the place to be! Great service and a pleasant atmosphere. In summer, you can sit in the beautiful Brückenwallviertel district. Highly recommended!

The crust looks like it's from Naples, puffy and burnt. Great! The toppings are incomparable to any other pizzeria. Salami, ham, cheese? Nope... They're all like a main course put on a pizza. It is. I haven't tried them all yet, but they've all been great so far. Unfortunately, the freestyler lacks Gorgonzola, but that's bearable. And no apple wine isn't understandable either. Pizza Naples, but it's Frankfurt and they have Bavarian beer. They could offer decent apple wine. Inside, it's a train station atmosphere, but it's okay. Outside, it's great in the summer.

wir waren auf einer privaten Feier im MoP. Die Atmosphähre ist sehr familiär und freundlich. Die Bänke draußen waren zum Essen gut nutzbar. Das absolute highlight ist aber die Pizza. Wir hatten die Seduce mit Lachs und Spinat und die Trüffel-Pizza mit Burrata: wirklich herausragend! Wir sind nicht so oft in Sachsenhausen, aber das Essen lohnt jeden Weg innerhalb Frankfurts. If celiacs have a desire for a crusty pizza you can enjoy here a good dough. The pizza is fully topped but this is obviously the reason why it gets to juicy in the middle part. My choice „seduce“ contains spinach so there was to much water besides a very salty salmon swimming on top. At night I drank a bottle of water to balance the shock. The place itself is tiny so it is more a quick eat and run place than a dinner night with your beloved one. But in general, I appreciate that there‘s a place offering gluten free pizza anyway.

We came here two years ago when we were in town. We remembered the restaurant and always spoke highly of it. Today we went there and had two pizzas. Once more we loved it. Recommended.

Cozy little pizzeria. Pizza left an ambivalent impression. Very unusual recipes at high prices, standard pizza like Margherita are also available for a reasonable price. Why the latter came with additional Parmesan or Grana Padano is probably due to the fact that there is no original Italian origin. Which perhaps also explains the exotic recipes. I didn't like the mozzarella on my pizza. There was also extra parmesan there. Together with the pesto it was an extremely difficult mixture to digest. Too much of everything on the dough, which was actually quite tasty. Small bottle of beer 3.5€, 0.2l wine 9€ quite expensive. I would say service was friendly and reserved.

Gluten-free and incredibly delicious! I was totally surprised at how good this gluten-free pizza tasted! The base is crispy, the topping is super fresh! simply successful all round. There's something really valuable about finally being able to enjoy a pizza that's good for your diet and still tastes like real soul food. Great recommendation! After a long day at work, you can end the evening comfortably here. The pizza was excellent and you could really taste the quality. To put it in Michelin stars: 2** top cuisine - definitely worth a detour!

My wife and I tried Mystery of Pizza for the first time this weekend after finding the location on Google and seeing the reviews. We weren't disappointed; on the contrary - from my point of view, MoP offers the best pizza in the Frankfurt city area that I have had so far. The dough is great, the topping is very creative, the size is perfect. The option to eat gluten-free completes the experience. The restaurant is quite small, so reservations should be made in advance. Via WhatsApp :-)

We ordered 3 pizzas. All 3 were burned. You can't offer something like that, especially for such a high price. Three pizzas, a beer, a glass of wine and a coke €73. I wanted to pay €.75. It didn't work. I had to pay at least 10% more. I tried to pay with the card but it didn't work. I said I can pay in cash. I wanted to pay €75 but I had to pay €81. I gave €90 and the cashier gave me €5 back. Then I asked for another €4. Me and my friend couldn't sleep because of the pizza. I assume because of the black parts, although I removed as much as possible. The ingredients in my pizza weren't as many as other pizzas I've ordered. Very bad impression and the first time I got a black pizza...

Ate here for the first time today with our sons (1+4). Service advice was top, the boys felt very comfortable as we were welcomed very well. The pizzas were very, very tasty, we finally ate a really good pizza again 😋 we'll definitely be back.

Creative pizzas, small menu (which is good). The dough was really really good, so tasty, fluffy, havent had a dough this good in a long time. Extensive filling, very tasty. Not cheap but worth it, i will be back when visiting Frankfurt again.

The Neapolitan pizza at this pizzeria was truly outstanding. The selection ranges from unusual varieties to the possibility of putting together a classic pizza according to your own taste. The small, cozy shop only has a few tables, so reservations are advisable. Service was OK, but could be a bit more proactive. Unfortunately it was very cold in the restaurant, so we kept our winter jackets on. Despite the minor flaws, the pizza is definitely worth a visit.

Excellent, innovative pizza with a wide range of spices. The taste is harmonious and even the edge is a delight, mine was garnished with roasted sesame. We were told that many of the ingredients are purchased locally, which we like. The drinks were very tasty and the seating was super comfortable. Very refreshing. would love to come back.

This is such a lovely place! It's tiny and cozy with nice calm music. Even though it's a very small space, we were able to get a table for two on a Sunday evening. The lemonades were very tasty and our pizzas were amazing as well!

This pizzeria is on the pricier side, but in my opinion, it's definitely worth the cost. The atmosphere is especially suited for couples, but I visited with a few colleagues from work. The owner was very kind and even opened the restaurant 30 minutes earlier for us, which is something you can't always expect from every owner. The pizza was delicious, and the crust was particularly fluffy, making it easy to enjoy the whole pizza. Overall, it was a great experience, and I will definitely visit again in the future.

Gluten-free pizza was a weak performance. The pizza base reminded awfully lot of those gluten-free (Schär) ones that you can buy from a supermarket, the symmetric form, consistency and small size would match the description. Toppings were not bad though, and the beer list deserves a 👍🏻 for containing small brewery brews. Service was indifferent and slow.

The varied pizzas taste great and are served in a pleasant atmosphere by the extremely friendly hostess. I have rarely eaten such delicious pizza in Germany and seen such unique versions of pizza. A visit is definitely worth it, even if you have to travel a long way!

Do not recommend this place, unless you want to wait more than 1 hour for fast food. In the 40 mins time of waiting for ONE pizza that we ordered, the restaurant served 2 pizzas to the table next to us, and 3 pizzas for take out. When asked when will the ONE pizza come, (while they are busy folding pizza boxes in the kitchen at 7pm…) we were told we need to wait for at least 20 mins more. Never in my life I’m expected to wait for 1 hour for A single pizza. I was told it was “slow” food ... Right, as if you are still fermenting the dough when I place the order? How about be nice enough to inform your customer what to expect? Pathetic and poor organization and operation. Never again.

We had one of the best pizzas in town at Mystery of Pizza! The small place is very cosy and the owners are so friendly. Pizzas have an amazing thin crust with great specials or classics that you can choose from the menu. Definitely recommend and our new go to pizza spot in Sachsenhausen 🍕😍

Pizza is good. Especially the dough. However, I feel silly. I wasn't allowed to pay for the take-away pizza with a card and then had to go quite far away to get money. When I came back, someone standing right next to me paid for his pizza with a card. Incredible. I then received a smug grin from the lady behind the counter. Not proper business conduct.

The best gluten free pizza I've ever eaten! And the remarkably warm, super friendly service gave us a great evening and made us feel very comfortable in the Mystery of Pizza :) When ordering the gluten-free pizza, I was asked whether it was because of celiac disease or gluten sensitivity, i.e. whether it was during the preparation Particular care should be taken to avoid cross-contamination. Unfortunately, I have never experienced this level of awareness and consideration for the needs of people with celiac disease from a gastronomic perspective in a single restaurant in Germany with gluten-free options and so far I only knew about gluten-free gastronomic offerings in much more progressive countries like this Australia or Spain. It's really great that Mystery of Pizza handles it this way and not only shines with the excellent quality of the food and also offers a very tasty, gluten-free beer, but also gives people with celiac disease the great feeling that is unfortunately still quite rare in Germany to be able to enjoy a visit to a restaurant in competent and safe hands. I will definitely come back and can highly recommend a visit to Mystery of Pizza to everyone, but especially to all my fellow Celiacs! ♥️
