MY THAI Kelkheim in Kelkheim (Taunus)

Leider war mein Besuch eine große Enttäuschung. Die Sauberkeit lässt stark zu wünschen übrig. Der Boden war so schmutzig und klebrig, dass meine Schuhe regelrecht daran festklebten. Auch die Toiletten waren in einem katastrophalen Zustand. Sie waren so schmutzig, dass ich Angst hatte, sie überhaupt zu benutzen, aus Sorge, mich Keimen auszusetzen oder krank zu werden. In einem Restaurant sollte Hygiene oberste Priorität haben, doch hier scheint sie völlig vernachlässigt zu werden. Ich hoffe, dass das Management dringend Maßnahmen ergreift, um die Sauberkeit deutlich zu verbessern. Unter diesen Umständen werde ich definitiv nicht wiederkommen und kann dieses Restaurant leider nicht weiterempfehlen.

Wenn ich könnte würde ich 0 Sterne geben. Das Person schrecklich ekelhaft mobben dort und einfach Unmenschliche Menschen dort. Die Chefin absolut nicht tauglich. Mir fehlen echt die Wort, sowas anschauliches noch nie gesehen. Leider kann ich aus Datenschutz ins Detail gehen. Das Essen schmeckt auch nicht zu teuer plus kleine Portion. Einfach nur grauenhaft

Selten so schlechtes Pad Kra Pao gegessen. Nehmt es bitte von der Karte, wenn ihr es nicht zubereiten könnt um weitere Gäste vor dieser Enttäuschung zu bewahren. Service war ganz nett sowie das Ambiente in Kelkheim auch vor einen kurzen Lunch angemessen erscheint.

Wir sind schon seit vielen Jahren Gäste im My Thai und kommen regelmäßig zum Essen oder holen uns etwas ab. Das Essen war für uns schon immer sehr gut, aber seit Anfang des Jahres hat sich noch einmal spürbar etwas verändert – und zwar zum Positiven. Man merkt, dass frischer Wind eingezogen ist. Besonders die liebevollen Details fallen auf: die wunderschönen frischen Blumen, die regelmäßig ausgetauscht werden, die gemütliche Terrasse mit den bunten Kissen und die wirklich tolle Musikauswahl, die für eine entspannte und besondere Atmosphäre sorgt. Man fühlt sich einfach wohl, sobald man das Restaurant betritt. Auch der Service verdient ein großes Lob. Egal wie voll es ist, die Mitarbeiterinnen sind immer freundlich, aufmerksam und bemüht. Man merkt, dass hier Wert auf Gastfreundschaft gelegt wird und dass jemand mit viel Herz und Liebe zum Detail dahintersteht. Für uns war das My Thai schon immer ein gutes Restaurant, aber seit Anfang des Jahres ist es noch einmal auf ein ganz anderes Niveau gekommen. Es sind genau diese kleinen Dinge, die den Unterschied machen und dafür sorgen, dass man immer wieder gerne zurückkommt. Seit 2023 esse ich regelmäßig ein Gericht bei My Thai Kelkheim, nämlich das Pad Kra Pao. Selbstverständlich auf Thai-Style. Es war mit minimalen Schwankungen eigentlich immer ganz gut. Die letzten Male (inklusive heute) muss ich leider sagen, dass man das nicht mehr essen kann. Ich beziehe mich nur auf mein bestelltes Essen. Abgesehen davon, dass man ein thailändisches Gericht in einem Thai Restaurant auf „Thai Style“ bestellen muss, kostet dieser Zusatz dann auch noch extra, sodass man fast 20 € für ein Essen zahlt, für das man in Thailand ein Bruchteil zahlt - für mich eine absolute Frechheit. Ich war 2018 das erste mal in Thailand und komme seitdem von diesem Gericht nicht los. Ich bestelle nur dieses Gericht in jedem Thai-Restaurant, in das ich gehe. Ich würde also behaupten, ich weiß, wie es schmecken soll. Kommen wir zu heute: Meine Bestellung ist immer Pad Kra Pao auf Thai-Style und Thai scharf. Normalerweise werden für die Schärfe immer ordentlich Chilis ins Gericht geschnitten, je nach Schärfegrad. Heute war nur unglaublich viel Pfeffer drin, was es einfach ungenießbar gemacht hat. Das Essen schmeckte nur nach Pfeffer, scharf war es auch nicht. Die Soße war anders als sonst, das Fleisch nicht gehackt, sondern in Stücken. Mit einem Pad Kra Pao hatte das absolut nichts zu tun. Ich weiß nicht, ob der Koch gewechselt wurde, aber vorher war es euch auch möglich, das Gericht genießbar herzurichten. Wenn dem so ist, sollte man darauf aufmerksam machen und dem Kunden nicht etwas servieren, was er so nicht bestellt hat. Ein Wiener Schnitzel wird auch nur so genannt, wenn es aus Kalbfleisch besteht. Ansonsten ist es „nach Wiener Art“. Das war vorerst das letzte Mal, dass ich hier mein Geld gelassen habe - schade.

Ich wollte etwas zum abholen bestellen 20 Minuten vor Ladenschluss wurde mir gesagt ihr hättet schon zu. Schade dass die Uhrzeiten nicht überein stimmen…

Ganz lecker und unkompliziert. Nette Location am Bahnhof. Leicht überfordertes aber dabei trotzdem höfliches personal.

Nach langer Zeit als Stammkunde kann man da nicht mehr hingehen egal ob Kelkheim Bad Soden oder Königstein . Potions Größen klein und egal welches Gericht nur Bohnen und der Preis einfach eine Unverschämtheit und lächerlich wenn man sich mit Thai Küche auskennt . Es gibt so viele Asiaten, die echt hervorragend sind. Und für den Preis gehe ich lieber in ein richtiges Restaurant. Wir kleine Gruppe 8 Personen kommen nie wieder !

Wie immer gelungen. AMBIENTE finde ich einfach super schön. Das Essen schmeckt vorzüglich. Wir kommen wieder.

Das Essen wird immer ganz frisch zubereitet. Nach einer telefonischen Bestellung ist es meistens auch sehr schnell fertig zum abholen.

Wir waren nach langem mal wieder dort und es war toll! Wir kaufen ab und zu die grandiose Erdnusssoße für zu Hause, aber diesmal haben wir vor Ort gegessen und es war das beste Essen, was wir je im My Thai gegessen haben. Extrastern an den Koch!

Sehr schöne Location direkt am Bahnhof in Kelkheim, modernes und angenehmes Ambiente. Das Essen war geschmacklich wirklich top – frisch, aromatisch und insgesamt überzeugend. Einziger klarer Minuspunkt: Die Hauptspeisen kamen vor den Vorspeisen. Das wirkt unkoordiniert und stört den Ablauf deutlich, gerade wenn sonst alles auf einem guten Niveau ist. Das sollte in einem Restaurant dieser Klasse eigentlich nicht passieren. Unterm Strich trotzdem ein sehr gutes Erlebnis mit Verbesserungspotenzial beim Service-Timing.

Ich habe ein als vegetarisch deklariertes Gericht bestellt, in dem – wie ich einen Tag später erfuhr – Austernsauce enthalten war, ohne entsprechenden Hinweis in der Karte. Danach hatte ich starke Magen-Darm-Beschwerden. Eine Entschuldigung oder Wiedergutmachung gab es nicht. Durch die falsche Deklaration ist das besonders gefährlich für Allergiker – für Vegetarier eindeutig nicht geeignet.

Hoher Chillfaktor, entspanntes Ambiente, leckeres Essen. Wir hatten ein Curry-Gericht und im Anschluss einen leichten typischen Glutamat Effekt im Mund. Ansonsten sehr zufrieden!

A very modern Thai restaurant with delicious bowls and Asian dishes. Everything is fresh and delicious! The place is also beautifully decorated; highly recommended.

It was delicious for years. Now the sweet and sour sauce just tastes bland. The price, of course, has gone up dramatically. The food is simply terrible and overpriced. It's a shame, because we've been ordering food here for years.

Unfortunately, not today. For the second time, I had stomach/intestinal problems after eating there. This worries me and unfortunately gives me something to think about.

Thanks, but no thanks! Court 81 and 82 had. 81 was supposed to be spicy (🌶️🌶️) but there was absolutely nothing even remotely flavorful. The duck was so dry and bland. Maybe some seasoning would help or a new kitchen crew. That was the last time for me at My Thai in Kelkheim. I'd better get a pizza next time!

I loved this restaurant! The atmosphere is incredibly cozy and inviting. The food was simply fantastic! Every bite was a delight. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely come back!

A successful meal and a pleasant experience at My Thai depends on the staff and good food. We were 3 generations today and just thought it was nice.. the young man who was on duty this afternoon impressed with his 150% customer service. Attentive, friendly, courteous, thoughtful, pleasant demeanor simply deserves praise. Communication with the kitchen directly, regarding questions or extras, was no problem at all. In short, thank you for the great food and beautiful ambience from your team... and I'd love to see you next time.

Visited again after a long time... The food is good and the portions are good. It's just a shame that there is no spice (CHILi) or soy sauce at the tables. But what really annoyed me today was that THE PRICES ON THE BOARD WHERE YOU ORDER THE FOOD ARE NO LONGER CORRECT. BUT YOU WON’T TELL THAT!! I WAS WONDERED ABOUT THE PRICE WHEN PAYING AND WHEN I ASKED, I WAS INFORMED. THE PRICES ARE HANDWRITTEN AND THEY HAVEN'T FOUND THE TIME TO CORRECT THEM!?....... Nice service, large portions and the best My Thai in the area!

I had Pad Thai there for a dinner once. It is not the most authentic Thai food but if you are up for something similar (adapted to a European taste/tongue) it seems like a good choice.

The service here leaves something to be desired...rude and not customer friendly...Bad Soden is more pleasant

Puked through the peanut sauce and have had diarrhea for 2 days now. Already the second time. Never again MyThai.

Soft duck instead of crispy, smelly inside. When you pick it up you are asked if you want to give a tip...for picking it up yourself? 10 years ago this was a top store. 10 years ago...I know much better Asians in the HG sector, mind you...it was an attempt.

I think it's a real shame when you've already called and then when you try again you're just pushed away and then you call again and no one answers. I think it's really a shame.

When I picked up my dishes, I had to go to the front of the counter as normal. I paid there directly and was informed about the possibility of leaving a tip. I don't think that's that great, it has something of the Amrekan tip mentality. I also find it stupid that there are still no prices to be found on the website! I can't say anything about the service - I always pick up my dishes. I can't really say anything bad about the food.

We ordered some dishes (including appetizers) for pickup last weekend. To be fair, I rate the ambience 5 stars - I haven't seen the place myself. But the evaluation of the food is much more important - and unfortunately I have to say: the topic is missed. I know the authentic, very aromatic Thai cuisine (which "My Thai" is committed to) very well and can definitely judge whether dishes are "authentic". And the food that “My Thai” delivered to us had absolutely nothing to do with that. My soup ("Tom Yam Goong") had a certain spiciness, but the taste was almost insultingly flat. But almost no trace of the typical aromas. The main course (“GAI/MOO PAD BAI KAPROW”) was even more disappointing. If I hadn't known that we ordered from a Thai place, I would have guessed it was an Asian fast food joint. Again, hardly any taste, certainly not the typical strong aromas that are typical of Thai cuisine. Sorry, that doesn't work at all. The price/performance ratio can therefore only be classified as poor. I paid just under €20 for soup and main course - which can neither be justified in terms of taste nor considering the portions. Conclusion: As an “authentic Thai restaurant”, “My Thai” unfortunately completely missed the point.

I drive from Maintal to Kelkheim because I really like the food here! In addition, the employees are always friendly. I also like the furnishings, you feel comfortable and it's clean.

After 25 minutes of waiting on the terrace, no one served us or brought over the menus. When I went in to complain, the waitress said that you have to order inside and pay immediately. Where are we supposed to know? The waitress didn't care and was unmotivated. Tables were cleared but not cleaned when we sat down ...Once and never again...But the food was ok.

Authentic Thai with delicious food, friendly staff and a great ambience

The ambience of MyThai in Kelkheim is impressive and the outdoor area on the terrace is also very cozy. The food is delicious, but the price has also increased significantly. The portions are much larger when eaten in a restaurant than TO GO! So it's worth eating on site. Service is nice and friendly, but stars are deducted here because we sat on the terrace and had to get the drinks ourselves. Toilets are clean so far and are on the first floor. There are no disabled toilets, but there is a ramp for wheelchair users over the terrace.

Got very bad. When swapping rice for noodles, an extra 5.00 was charged. My chicken dish had 4 small pieces of meat, my husband's beef dish had 5! No trace of spices.

Food used to be good. Today it's more average. If any.

The ambience and service are really great. Pleasant to use and extremely high quality inside. However, the food is below average, the No. 72 didn't taste good at all. The beef in particular is a low quality industrial meat. Taste was so-so. Unfortunately the quantity was a bit tight for one man. Overall... not good and unsatisfactory. When the food gets better we'll come back...

"In Search of the Lost Flesh". Well, we used to be regular guests, easily 3 times a month, but from today onwards that will definitely change. Meat? Chicken? In 2 main courses if it comes to 9 pieces of meat, with the prices and also generally NAUGHTY. A PITY. AU Revoir.

First of all: Warning ⚠️ to everyone! When you pick up the dish you will be asked if you want to pay in advance and leave a tip. Not do! The cards are very poorly made and the main part of the dish is written in Thai, which means you don't know which meat with which sauce you are actually ordering. I also made this mistake when I ordered number 169 and the description didn't say anything about sweet and sour with pineapple (see pictures). When we asked the wait staff, we found out that they didn't know what was actually in the individual dishes either. When we then wanted to return the dish or exchange it for another one, we were told that we would also have to pay for the new one. In addition, the boss wasn't on site either, which meant we couldn't agree on a proper compromise. In summary, apart from the ambience, we cannot recommend the restaurant at all.

Watch out, trap: When ordering the dish I had to go to the front of the counter. There I was also approached directly to pay and pointed out the possibility of giving a tip. I did that. You shouldn't do that under any circumstances. Only pay after your meal! Because the menu does not fully describe the dishes. The staff is not familiar with the exact ingredients of the dishes on the menu. I received a different dish than what the menu said I ordered. The dish I got (63) was €2 cheaper than what I ordered and paid for in advance (169). I pointed out to the service that I had received dish 63 instead of 169 and asked for an exchange. They should have given me the new dish, but they didn't. Bad luck, already paid. I was offered that I could get the right dish for another 7 euros. I have already paid €2 too much and am supposed to pay another €7 for the dish that I have already paid for?! I have never experienced something like that. That was the first and last time I was in this store. I can't recommend it.

I was a regular here. Unfortunately I have to take a break. The quality of the meat, I mostly eat duck, has declined massively. In some cases the flesh is no longer recognizable at all. 50% is fat and fried to death. It's a shame because I really appreciated the ambience and the continuous opening hours. The service has also deteriorated significantly. Recently my order was completely forgotten. Finally, my order was delivered to the wrong table and I then had to wait so long again. Just a shame. Please try harder and buy better products, then I'll be happy to come back.

By far the best food in the area. Being surrounded by greenery in the outside seating area on a hot day was perfect. Highly recommend the green curry!!

Had a bowl with chicken. Meat was dry, sesame salad dressing just sour. Lots of rice, plus edamame, carrots, soybean sprouts and lettuce. Everything on it that was advertised but seasoned in a really boring way... not recommended for 14.90. A pity.

Ordered No. 68 to take away today. As stated, the food was ready for pickup within 15 minutes. The taste was also good until I had the first indefinable foreign body in my mouth. The attempt to make it look nice failed at the third time, when the feeling in my mouth was accompanied by a loud crack, so that everyone at the table thought I had destroyed a molar. That will probably be the last time. And yes, €12.80 for chicken, vegetables, cashews and rice is basically quite ambitious - especially if it ends up in the trash.

Excellent. The location in the old train station is great and stylishly decorated. As in all branches of the chain, the Thai food is just the way I like it. By the way, the table is served here. And as in all branches, you can easily have the rest that you didn't manage packed up - then you still have food for the next day. This was my third visit here - and it won't be the last!

Very tasty food in a great atmosphere. People like to sit here and have a drink even after eating. The absolute highlight here is the peanut sauce, I've never tasted such a delicious one. I'd love to come back.

It became much more expensive after the change of ownership. But the food is still great. Drinks: Fritz Cola etc. is just not my thing. And it's a shame that there are no more cocktails.

I recommend anyone who wants to eat there to turn around and go to any other Asian place because there CANNOT be any worse than this! The duck I ordered was as dried out as the Sahara and had been sitting on the ground somewhere for at least 10 years. The sweet and sour sauce was just sweet and it would have been more sour if I had eaten sugar cubes! And the price is way too high for this food! NEVER AGAIN!!!

Price performance hasn't been right for a long time! Vegetables consist of two slices of carrots and lots of onions! A pity! The service is very nice, the ambience is also good.

Das Essen dort war mal richtig gut, hat aber stark nachgelassen. Die Frühlingsrollen bestehen fast nur noch aus Teig und die Nudeln mit Gemüse und Hühnchen waren auch nicht so prickelnd. Fast nur Nudeln mit drei Stückchen Hühnchen und auch das Gemüse konnte man abzählen. Nichts mehr für mich -schade!

Ich war schon öfters bei my Thai aber in Kelkheim hat man anscheinend keine Lust Sonntags zu arbeiten. Wir wollten essen für unterwegs mitnehmen weil wir weg fahren. 11.05 noch zu. Sind zwar paar Leute rum gelaufen aber ich wurde ignoriert. Schade werde am dem Standort nichts mehr kaufen

Leckeres Essen und endlich wieder ordentliche Portionen !!!

Toll, was hier aus dem alten Bahnhof gemacht wurde. Sehr leckeres Essen und gemütliche Sitzmöglichkeiten. Ich würde mich im Sommer nur nicht draussen hinsetzen wegen den regelmässig fahrenden Zügen, die sehr nah an einem vorbeifahren.

Leider fällt unsere Bewertung überhaupt nicht gut aus. Wir waren heute Abend bei MyThai Kelkheim essen. Wir bestellten zwei Vorspeisen und einen Hauptgang. Die Vorspeise kam recht schnell auf den Tisch und war lecker. Nach weiteren gut 25 Minuten Wartezeit verloren wir die Gewissheit, dass das Essen noch auf den Tisch kommen würde, weshalb wir freundlich darauf hinwiesen, dass wir nun bereit für den Hauptgang wären. Nun hätte man meinen können, dass jetzt schnell etwas zubereitet wird, aber weit gefehlt. So kamen reihenweise Teller aus der Küche, aber nicht zu uns, sondern zu den Gästen, die 30 Minuten nach uns das Lokal betraten. Als dann die Erlösung kam und mein Mann seinen Teller vor sich stehen hatte, musste er erst einmal alleine essen, denn mein Essen kam erst weitere 5 Minuten später. Leider war die gute Laune sehr, sehr tief im Keller und der Appetit, nach einer Wartezeit von Vorspeise zu Hauptgang von ÜBER 30 Minuten, auch schon verflogen. Wir waren froh, nur wenig Trinkgeld gegeben zu haben, nein noch schlimmer, wir hätten die Bestellung fast storniert aber mein Mann war sehr geduldig. Das Essen war okay, aber das dramatischste an der ganzen Situation war das unangemessene und unprofessionelle Verhalten der Kellner: Nachdem das Essen serviert wurde, folgte eine saloppe Entschuldigung der Kellnerin. Sie sagte, es täte ihr leid und sie wüsste nicht, woran es gelegen habe. Ganz ehrlich... sehr schlecht, wenn man es nicht weiß. Wir hatten auch nicht das Gefühl, dass die „Entschuldigung“ ernst gemeint war, denn von da an wurden wir bis zum Schluss nicht mehr angesprochen oder angeschaut. Wir wurden nicht gefragt, ob es uns schmeckt und ob wir zufrieden sind. Wir wurden nicht einmal mehr eines Blickes gewürdigt. Wir haben aufgegessen und sind zum Ausgang gegangen. Auch hier gab es keinen Blickkontakt und nicht einmal eine Verabschiedung. Liebe Gastronomen von MyThai: Bitte bildet euer Personal besser aus! Hier hätte man eine negative Bewertung sehr einfach durch ein kurzes Gespräch und eine Wiedergutmachung vermeiden können. Wir sind sehr traurig darüber und überlegen uns nun dreimal ob wir noch einmal vorbeikommen! Grüße aus Kelkheim

Sehr freundliches Personal, sehr gute Auswahl und gutes Essen

Der Service und die Produktqualität haben in den letzten Momaten sehr stark nachgelassen. Lieblos halbversiegelte Speisen zum mitnehmen versauen einem alles wo es abgestellt wird; der Papayasalat besteht mittlerweile aus, gefühlt, mehr Sojasprossen als Papaya und die Portionsgröße reicht kaum zur Vorspeise, zum Preis einer Hauptspeise. Sehr enttäuschend was da passiert. Beschwerden und Anmerkungen werden zwar entgegengenommen aber durch die Überforderung eher desinteressiert mit Ersatzspeisen "abgespeist" damit das Problem schnell weggeht.

Die beiden Servicekräfte waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, das Essen war sehr lecker und kam schnell. Nur zur Empfehlen! :)

Super lecker und schönes Ambiente. Beim Rind durfte es etwas mehr Fleisch sein und etwas weniger Kartoffeln.

This is a self service place. The atmosphere is not brilliant but the food is tasty and fresh.

Wir haben dort sehr lecker gegessen. Ich hatte einen Eisbergsalat mit Hähnchen und Chili, der aber überraschend wenig Eisbergsalat in sich hatte. Fand ich super! 😃 Einen Stern Abzug gibt es beim Service, weil man Getränke selbst holen muss und auch die Bestellung an der Theke machen muss. Beim Ambiente gebe ich nur 3 Sterne, weil es doch recht nervig war, dass Züge regelmäßig vorbeifahren.

Ich gehe hier gerne hin um lecker thailändisch zu essen. Gerne holen wir hier auch Essen für zu Hause.

Ich war heute mal wieder mit meiner Frau zum Essen dort. Das Essen ist wieder besser geworden. Beide Gerichte waren geschmacklich gut und die Portionen sind ausreichend. Preis-Leistung ist soweit OK. Kann man wieder empfehlen.

Nr. 81 gegessen angeblichen 2 Chili leider gar nicht scharf. Die Ente bestand überwiegend aus Haut kaum Fleisch wenig Gemüse und das für 13.50EUR.

Preise werden immer teurer und Portionen kleiner…. Meine langjährig geliebte Nr 34 hatte nur noch 3 Streifen Hühnchen. Leider kein jugendgerechtes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis mehr

Das MY THAI ist ein schönes Restaurante und hat leckeres Essen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und die Köche kochen super! Empfehle ich jedem!

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Allerdings zahlt man an der Kasse mehr, als in der Peisekarte angegeben. Finde ich persönlich nicht so gut. Die Speisen zum Abholen sind leider sehr klein geworden. Die Portionen Vorort sind weiterhin in Ordnung. Die Bedienung ist sehr nett und freundlich.

Sehr leckeres Essen, freundliches Personal. Das Essen schmeckt sehr natürlich und frisch. Die Karte ist abwechslungsreich, sodass man für jeden Appetit etwas findet.
