A very pleasant location with friendly and attentive service.

Very tasty, very good vegan options and good service, especially when we thought about what we wanted when ordering, they helped us a lot. We only found the bread basket as a starter a bit small for the price (but the dips were great!)

Yesterday I was in Paderborn with my sister and spontaneously stopped at Mundus because of the lunch menu. There were two menus to choose from. The service was nice and quick. We opted for Schnitzel Gorgonzola with Gorgonz. - Cream sauce and caramellis. Walnuts decided. There were also potato slices and a salad garnish as well as a small dessert at a good price. We really enjoyed the food, it was really tasty. We would definitely like to come back!

We had dinner with 6 colleagues and spontaneously indulged in some cocktails during happy hour. The food was delicious and plentiful. The cocktails are also delicious. The prices are fair and the service was excellent! We'd love to come back if we're in the area again :-)

I love the food at Mundus - especially the burgers and hash browns. The atmosphere is nice and cozy and our dog is always welcome. One of our favorite places :)

We ate there for the first time today, really delicious! Food came super quickly and the service was also very nice!! I would probably recommend switching to 10 mm fries, as the thin 7 mm fries are not quite as tasty and also get cold quickly, but that can also be a matter of taste.

We are extremely disappointed. Before: my husband made reservations extra early. When we arrived, we were directed to the bar and waited for an hour for a real seat, which we didn't get. You don't know spices. The food was cold and expensive and the meat was tough. We're sad! But the waiters were nice.

No matter whether meat, vegetarian, vegan, you can invite all your friends here! Super cool, finally no more compromises, chic shop, very great people and of course delicious food. Definitely try it out :)

We went to Mundus on Saturday evening for drinks. When we arrived we were told straight away that the kitchen was already closed, but that wasn't a problem for us. After we were assigned a table, we unfortunately had to wait a little longer for the service person, which was still absolutely acceptable given a full shop. We took advantage of the “Cocktail Happy Hour” offer and were not disappointed. We ordered two rounds of drinks and had them quickly brought to the table. Cocktails were really tasty and looked good too! We'd love to come back to try the food too.

Spontaneous visit on a Saturday evening for four and got a place. Later we knew why: It's really rare to see such unmotivated, confused and slow staff! It took 20 minutes before we could even place an order. I saw that everyone in service does everything: first take the order, then prepare their own drinks and bring them to their guests. No wonder it's taking so forever! I asked if there was anything else to eat and was told no, but I was still asked if I wanted the menu. Anyone who wants to understand that... Well, it was cocktail happy hour and we ordered 4 cocktails. Since I don't drink alcohol, someone also had to take a cocktail without alcohol, because the cocktail offer only applies to 2 of the same cocktails. But that's not what's on offer! These half price cocktails were so straight - at full price they would have been an absolute disgrace! The already small glasses are only half full, cheeky! (see photo) and we haven't drunk anything yet! And if every guest pays the same, they should get the same amount. I would prefer to give zero stars for the underground service. It's a shame what has become of the old "Kampus", but the Mundus will not see us again.

Tonight we had Swedish potatoes with pulled chicken, Tai chicken curry and crème brulee and baklava for dessert. The food was very tasty and the price was appropriate. The operation was very pleasant, especially during training. It was a very nice stay.

Mundus has a very good selection of vegan dishes. * Both the Swedish potato with pulled jackfruit and the vegan meatloaf were extremely delicious. Everything was very well seasoned for my taste! * For dessert we had the apple puff pastry rose. Very tasty, but a bit difficult to eat in a long-stemmed glass. * The bread basket as a snack is also highly recommended - although I would like to see a larger selection of vegan dips here again. * In winter 24/25 there are now also vegan mini knuckles on the menu. They are visually nicely arranged and taste good, although not a bit like knuckle. In my opinion, the “skin” is made of crispy dough breading, filled with, among other things, with jackfruit. The filling could use more binding so that the consistency is a little firmer. I would like to thank Mundus for its openness and willingness to experiment with vegan dishes. Please keep it up!

Mundus is one of the best restaurants for vegans in Paderborn! The vegan options are great – creative, varied and delicious. You can immediately tell that the cooking here is done with attention to detail. Above all, the changing (vegan) dishes make it even better. The owners are super friendly and welcoming, which makes the visit even more enjoyable. The atmosphere is modern and cozy, perfect for a relaxed evening. If you're looking for creative, vegan cuisine, you've come to the right place. Absolute recommendation!

We went there around half hour before the break so could get a table without waiting. We were welcomed by people there. There were already a couple of big group but was not that noisy. We had coffees and some finger foods there. It was a bit hard to find nice restaurant with good coffee in the area but the coffee there was well balanced and I really enjoyed it. Pommes also crespy and teasty! We could not order big food since we were already had a lunch but surely want back there for lunch or dinner!

It was our first and unfortunately last visit. I ordered bruscetta. There came 3 small dry slices of baguette and an extra jar of unripe chopped tomatoes mixed with lots of onions. Unfortunately it only tasted like onions... It was good that there were some rocket leaves with balsamic vinegar (also prepared specially), which hid the onions a bit. Unfortunately, the other four people didn't like the food either. The grilled vegetable plate was swimming in fat and the potato also had no taste. The bread plate consisted of 3 small slices of baguette and two dips, the burger also lacked flavor and the sweet potato fries were greasy. All in all, a disappointing dinner. But the drinks were delicious!

Reserved for Saturday evening 8:00 p.m. The restaurant was filled to capacity. Starters “Bread Basket” and “Bruschetta” came quite quickly. The bread was simple, easy-to-build bread that had already been prepared a few hours beforehand. Plus some pretty tasty sauces. At 9:10 p.m. the waitress came and told us that the vegan meatloaf was out and whether it could also be vegan Chinese duck. Food came at 9:30 p.m. It's just a shame, we were really looking forward to the evening. As compensation there was a coffee on the house. Food was quite tasty. The waitresses were consistently friendly. The service can do very little for mistakes in the kitchen.

Because we ordered in advance, the food was already ready upon arrival and therefore a bit cold. Salad on the plates made people hang their heads. Otherwise everything is fine

The food was ok and the service was friendly but we had reserved a table for 4 people and when we came in we of course got the smallest table right at the entrance/exit and it is not well suited for tall guests like me with 2m.

There were 6 of us with my family who ate here. We had reserved as a precaution, but there was still enough space available in the restaurant (during the week, perhaps different on the weekend). The menu is manageable and contains selected dishes. I ordered the cheeseburger and got a portion of fries with it. The quality was good, but the citizen's sauce wasn't homemade; I have the same one in the fridge at home. All in all, the food was good, the service was fine and the ambience was nice. I can definitely recommend a visit to Mundus.

Ambience between modern and rustic. The food was ok, but it didn't blow me away, it was more geared towards quick service. The service was mediocre; there seemed to be a lot of temporary staff and one trained service person. Drinks were ok. Overall pretty average. It's not bad, but it doesn't blow you away.

We were assigned a free table and 3 minutes later we had to leave because the table was probably reserved.

There were 6 of us and the food was mostly very good! There could have been a little more herb curd and some a little spicier, but that's a matter of taste!

I would like to rate the food if I had it... Waited at least 1.5 hours for a burger with fries. In any case, service is not the top priority here. Edit: After 2 hours the food was there. There wasn't much to be seen of the brioche bun.

Tuesday evening without reservation, no problem, free choice of seats. To eat there was a Swedish potato with grilled vegetables and a Thai chicken curry. The grilled vegetables were burnt in places, so the waitress was made aware of this. There was a new grilled vegetable without any problems. You could tell from the taste of the potato that it was pre-cooked and ready to order. The Thai was not Thai, but rather Indian, but cleverly and interestingly prepared. It had fire but was a little over-seasoned. But the pulled chicken in it was brilliant. That was huge. The drinks menu is impressive. A large selection, sometimes a little off the beaten track when it comes to lemonades and spritzers. By 9 p.m., 2/3 of the tables were filled. Acoustically, the room lacks a solution, as the acoustics are quite loud, even with some empty tables, which is noticeable. The restaurant is characterized by offering meat, vegan and vegetarian dishes. You can park in the Libori Gallery or in one of the three parking areas on Liboriberg, or in the Volksbank parking garage or at the cathedral parking lot. You have to walk a few meters as there are no parking spaces at the Kamp. There are high chairs in the restaurant so that small children can also be taken along.

We don't come from Paderborn and came to Mundus spontaneously. The meat eaters among us got their money's worth with the solid schnitzels, although the "salad side dish" was very poor and side dishes cost extra. The service was nice, quick and courteous. The background noise is a bit loud, but still within limits. The experiences of the vegetarians among us were very mixed: Although there is a comparatively large selection for them, the pulled jackfruit (see photo), for example, was a bad joke. This looked like it had been slapped onto the burger straight from the can. This is much better.

Yesterday we stopped here after strolling around town. I ate the beef skewer. It was really great! Unfortunately, after eating we sat in front of empty plates for a long time. The waitresses, although very nice, were unfortunately not careful enough. After serving at a table, you should always look around on the way back to see whether it is possible to clear away somewhere else. Otherwise, Mundus is definitely recommended

The food here is very tasty. The service was friendly and the portion size is also very good. 1 star deducted because the prices are slightly higher than in comparable restaurants. In addition, I couldn't make a reservation by phone because no one answered the phone on the third call. It would be nice to create an online version here.

My new favorite shop in Paderborn 💌 Nice and quick service, lots of seating, good drinks and I love the food, so far everything I've tried has been great. A well-mixed menu, something for everyone. Definitely worth a visit!

We went to Mundus for lunch. Ambiance: We wanted to sit at a small round table by the window. However, it was dingy and obviously hadn't been cleaned properly after the last guests. At first there was no music, later there was quiet music However, the conversations behind the counter were still clearly audible and involved things that would normally not be told audibly to guests. This was also the case on our previous visits. The candles are on the table, but have not been lit. Eat: The food was not a culinary revelation. The other day we had pretty soft overcooked vegetables, this time chicken schnitzel and vegan schnitzel with fries and salad. The chicken was frozen meat, probably fried, the fries were okay, the small salad garnish was okay. The service was ok. Overall, not a performance that encourages us to repeat. It's a shame, the shop is really nice.

Recently at lunch there were different types of schnitzel with fries and salad. There was nothing to complain about in terms of craftsmanship or taste. It was really tasty, although not addictive. The service was good and seating outside was nice.

We really liked it, delicious food and super friendly service. The starter plate for one person was even enough as a starter for four people.

Basically we were satisfied, unfortunately the employee who looked after us that evening disappeared at some point. But good. The food was good, the chili wasn't spicy, but there was sauce with it. The mushroom cream schnitzel was great. The Swedish potato could have been a bit more... The dessert was delicious! It's a shame we weren't allowed to push two tables together outside.

Didn't want to get any food. The waitress was a complete disaster. Never again. Today on Sunday afternoon, it wasn't full either, but it's not possible to let loose on humanity with such listlessness.

Chile was bland but cheap. Wife said her Mundos ice Tea was really good. Service was quick.

Lunch: four occupied tables. Nevertheless, after the end of the meal, I waited half an hour for the waitress to pay. So there was no dessert or second drink. Conclusion: Only suitable for non-working people with endless time.

We ordered vegan food and it was very tasty, as were the drinks. The staff is just super nice and friendly and the restaurant also has a pleasant atmosphere. I would definitely go again.

We were here to watch football and also eat. The food is not something you should go to a restaurant for. The beef patty from the burger was dry, the schnitzel was below average, and the smoked salmon was soggy. The salad dressing and the dips with the bread at least seemed homemade and were delicious, but that's not what you go out to eat for. The ambience is nothing special. The service was on point and averages three stars for me, but we still don't recommend it. It's a shame that Paderborn has such a high density of below-average restaurants.

Food was excellent. All 5 guests were very satisfied. Unfortunately it is very loud, the acoustics are not ideal for entertaining...we'll come back and hope for good weather, then we'll eat outside ;-) I would reconsider the 0.50 cents for a dollop of mayonnaise/ketchup. I think that's an unreasonable amount, especially since the mini portion isn't even enough for the fries.

We had breakfast there. Boss Oliver is super nice and takes time to talk. Unfortunately, rolls are of the lowest quality, but should now be changed. Sausage and cheese selection could be a little more interesting, cooked ham and additional ham would be good, otherwise two types of salami, meat sausage, turkey. Cheese was cheddar, Camembert (Brie) and chili cheese, a normal Gouda or butter cheese would also be great here, which I was missing. Tomato with mozzarella, salmon, scrambled eggs (very creamy and delicious), crispy bacon, Nuremberg sausages, grilled vegetables were really great. Cereal selection. I didn't see any boiled eggs. I was there for the second time today. On both days the service was friendly, attentive and helpful. The food on both days was a sufficient portion and tasty. People in wheelchairs are also welcome here; there is a ramp in front of the entrance. I will gladly come again.

Absolute recommendation. Very nice staff and excellent food. My boyfriend and I ate at Mundus together for the first time a few weeks ago and were really impressed. Although you pay 2/3€ more per dish than you are used to, it is definitely worth it. The employees always ask if everything is OK and the food is tasty and varied. We haven't had such a good meal in a long time, thank you very much :)

Of course, Mundus offers many dishes in vegetarian or vegan versions, such as schnitzel and burgers. In addition to Swedish potatoes, rösti, Thai curry and chili sin carne, there is also a vegan meatloaf on the down-to-earth main menu. Changing daily dishes for lunch are supposed to provide variety, but they are only available at lunchtime. But even without these, vegans and vegetarians can dine relaxed in a stylishly designed and pleasant ambience. The portion sizes are rather small, which certainly reflects the rental price for the exposed location in the middle of the city center. The non-alcoholic beverage selection (homemade lemonades, mocktails) complements the dining experience in a positive way and is mostly reasonably priced. Prices for the standard repertoire (water, soft drinks...) can be perceived as excessive. Tip for water: More and more restaurants (including many star restaurants) are using filter systems and offering flat rates for treated table water. This does not ensure satisfied customers, but is at the same time good for our environment and less stressful for restaurateurs. The service at Mundus is extremely friendly, attentive and quick, which makes the visit even more pleasant. Overall, Mundus Restaurant is a welcoming option for lovers a down-to-earth kitchen without much sophistication.

We were there for dinner on Monday and today. Both days were really great and there was nothing to complain about. Service was quick and courteous and the food was really amazing!! Anyone with a handicap due to dietary restrictions will feel welcome here

In the mild spring weather, we ate very comfortably in the evening on the terrace facing the traffic-calmed street. Service and food selection were quite decent, nice atmosphere. There were blankets to combat the chill in the evening. A nice way to meet up with friends for a snack. Gladly again.

The Mundus, a young company but an absolute asset to Paderborn. My husband and I like Mundus in many areas. We have been here several times, both for breakfast and lunch. Every time we were greeted warmly and in a friendly manner. The food is simple without much fuss but super tasty and fresh. The cleanliness in the toilets and in the restaurant also scores points. When we were there today we were able to have a refreshingly honest conversation with the owner. Here you could see how much love and passion is put into the restaurant and how important it is to the owner to interact authentically with the guests. We would like to come more often and hope that the Mundus will remain a permanent enrichment of the culinary offerings in Paderborn. For us, Mundus is always worth a visit.

Were there last week(during the week) and I think it will be a while before we try again. We were really disappointed. Went there on the recommendation of my daughter. After we took off our jackets, a previously friendly service person arrived. We ordered 2 cokes. When the Cola came and we tried it (absolutely no carbonation and a strange taste) I pointed out to the lady that the Cola has no carbonation at all. That's when it started, in a rather strange tone, we were asked carbonated cola? I was speechless. Yes please. The lady wasn't happy about taking the cola and then discussed something with her colleague. The 2 new ones came straight away with the information that it was draft cola. Yes, what can I say, this one was without it again. Then I said it and there was only silence. And then she would tell the boss and he would come straight away. Therefore 1 star for the service. We then drank about half of the coke (paid in full) and then decided to leave. The 3 stars go to the second service person who came to collect. She immediately noticed that something was wrong, asked and immediately offered to bring us something else. But we were already dressed and wanted to leave. Maybe the lady was just having a bad day. So maybe we'll try again another time.

The price-performance ratio is absolutely right here. Great breakfast at an unbeatable price in a nice atmosphere. Highly Recommended.

One of the few restaurants in Paderborn that has all meat, vegetarian and vegan dishes. The food is very tasty, service is very attentive and good. Mundus is now becoming more and more our favorite restaurant in the city center.

Visited yesterday evening (Friday) at 10:30 p.m. Opening time officially until 00:00h. The waitresses all ignored us! At least they could have come to the table and said that, for whatever reason, they were no longer serving 1 1/2 hours before closing time. Service is different!

We spontaneously visited on Saturday and had the gourmet block with us. The welcome was super friendly and the food was delicious. Redeeming the voucher 2 for 1 is no problem. We will be very happy to come back.

Table at 7:15 p.m., then the quick starters arrived at 7:50 p.m. “Our starters are prepared quickly and are perfect for the small time window.” The small time window lasted until 9 p.m. So after 1:45 hours, a starter and 4 wheat later, the main course came, which was rather below average. You were fed up, but I wonder what the unique selling point of the store is supposed to be? No atmosphere, loud, too many tables, bad lighting design, not enough staff.Food 0815.
