The Mundus team gave me a very nice evening last night, including a little surprise. ❤️ Friendly service and delicious food with a good price-performance ratio. Next up is to try breakfast, I'm looking forward to it 👍

Recently at lunch there were different types of schnitzel with fries and salad. There was nothing to complain about in terms of craftsmanship or taste. It was really tasty, although not addictive. The service was good and seating outside was nice.

We really liked it, delicious food and super friendly service. The starter plate for one person was even enough as a starter for four people.

Basically we were satisfied, unfortunately the employee who looked after us that evening disappeared at some point. But good. The food was good, the chili wasn't spicy, but there was sauce with it. The mushroom cream schnitzel was great. The Swedish potato could have been a bit more... The dessert was delicious! It's a shame we weren't allowed to push two tables together outside.

We were there for breakfast during the week and we really enjoyed it. The food tasted delicious, the prices are fair and the service is great. The waitress was very service-oriented and tried hard. Gladly again!

Didn't want to get any food. The waitress was a complete disaster. Never again. Today on Sunday afternoon, it wasn't full either, but it's not possible to let loose on humanity with such listlessness.

Clear breakfast buffet, unfortunately most items were not refilled an hour before the end of the buffet.

Nice restaurant in the center of Paderborn. The potato was okay, but nothing more. The second meal, a burger, was highly praised!

Chile was bland but cheap. Wife said her Mundos ice Tea was really good. Service was quick.

Lunch: four occupied tables. Nevertheless, after the end of the meal, I waited half an hour for the waitress to pay. So there was no dessert or second drink. Conclusion: Only suitable for non-working people with endless time.

We ordered vegan food and it was very tasty, as were the drinks. The staff is just super nice and friendly and the restaurant also has a pleasant atmosphere. I would definitely go again.

We were here to watch football and also eat. The food is not something you should go to a restaurant for. The beef patty from the burger was dry, the schnitzel was below average, and the smoked salmon was soggy. The salad dressing and the dips with the bread at least seemed homemade and were delicious, but that's not what you go out to eat for. The ambience is nothing special. The service was on point and averages three stars for me, but we still don't recommend it. It's a shame that Paderborn has such a high density of below-average restaurants.

Food was excellent. All 5 guests were very satisfied. Unfortunately it is very loud, the acoustics are not ideal for entertaining...we'll come back and hope for good weather, then we'll eat outside ;-) I would reconsider the 0.50 cents for a dollop of mayonnaise/ketchup. I think that's an unreasonable amount, especially since the mini portion isn't even enough for the fries.

We had breakfast there. Boss Oliver is super nice and takes time to talk. Unfortunately, rolls are of the lowest quality, but should now be changed. Sausage and cheese selection could be a little more interesting, cooked ham and additional ham would be good, otherwise two types of salami, meat sausage, turkey. Cheese was cheddar, Camembert (Brie) and chili cheese, a normal Gouda or butter cheese would also be great here, which I was missing. Tomato with mozzarella, salmon, scrambled eggs (very creamy and delicious), crispy bacon, Nuremberg sausages, grilled vegetables were really great. Cereal selection. I didn't see any boiled eggs. Juice was available upon request. Coffee as much as you like, cocoa mixed with powder, was really delicious with foamed milk. Thanks for the breakfast. Greetings to Oliver

I was there for the second time today. On both days the service was friendly, attentive and helpful. The food on both days was a sufficient portion and tasty. People in wheelchairs are also welcome here; there is a ramp in front of the entrance. I will gladly come again.

Absolute recommendation. Very nice staff and excellent food. My boyfriend and I ate at Mundus together for the first time a few weeks ago and were really impressed. Although you pay 2/3€ more per dish than you are used to, it is definitely worth it. The employees always ask if everything is OK and the food is tasty and varied. We haven't had such a good meal in a long time, thank you very much :)

Of course, Mundus offers many dishes in vegetarian or vegan versions, such as schnitzel and burgers. In addition to Swedish potatoes, rösti, Thai curry and chili sin carne, there is also a vegan meatloaf on the down-to-earth main menu. Changing daily dishes for lunch are supposed to provide variety, but they are only available at lunchtime. But even without these, vegans and vegetarians can dine relaxed in a stylishly designed and pleasant ambience. The portion sizes are rather small, which certainly reflects the rental price for the exposed location in the middle of the city center. The non-alcoholic beverage selection (homemade lemonades, mocktails) complements the dining experience in a positive way and is mostly reasonably priced. Prices for the standard repertoire (water, soft drinks...) can be perceived as excessive. Tip for water: More and more restaurants (including many star restaurants) are using filter systems and offering flat rates for treated table water. This does not ensure satisfied customers, but is at the same time good for our environment and less stressful for restaurateurs. The service at Mundus is extremely friendly, attentive and quick, which makes the visit even more pleasant. Overall, Mundus Restaurant is a welcoming option for lovers a down-to-earth kitchen without much sophistication.

We were there for dinner on Monday and today. Both days were really great and there was nothing to complain about. Service was quick and courteous and the food was really amazing!! Anyone with a handicap due to dietary restrictions will feel welcome here

It was very tasty! The vegetarian burger with sweet potato fries! 🥰 And super nice staff!

In the mild spring weather, we ate very comfortably in the evening on the terrace facing the traffic-calmed street. Service and food selection were quite decent, nice atmosphere. There were blankets to combat the chill in the evening. A nice way to meet up with friends for a snack. Gladly again.

The Mundus, a young company but an absolute asset to Paderborn. My husband and I like Mundus in many areas. We have been here several times, both for breakfast and lunch. Every time we were greeted warmly and in a friendly manner. The food is simple without much fuss but super tasty and fresh. The cleanliness in the toilets and in the restaurant also scores points. When we were there today we were able to have a refreshingly honest conversation with the owner. Here you could see how much love and passion is put into the restaurant and how important it is to the owner to interact authentically with the guests. We would like to come more often and hope that the Mundus will remain a permanent enrichment of the culinary offerings in Paderborn. For us, Mundus is always worth a visit.

Were there last week(during the week) and I think it will be a while before we try again. We were really disappointed. Went there on the recommendation of my daughter. After we took off our jackets, a previously friendly service person arrived. We ordered 2 cokes. When the Cola came and we tried it (absolutely no carbonation and a strange taste) I pointed out to the lady that the Cola has no carbonation at all. That's when it started, in a rather strange tone, we were asked carbonated cola? I was speechless. Yes please. The lady wasn't happy about taking the cola and then discussed something with her colleague. The 2 new ones came straight away with the information that it was draft cola. Yes, what can I say, this one was without it again. Then I said it and there was only silence. And then she would tell the boss and he would come straight away. Therefore 1 star for the service. We then drank about half of the coke (paid in full) and then decided to leave. The 3 stars go to the second service person who came to collect. She immediately noticed that something was wrong, asked and immediately offered to bring us something else. But we were already dressed and wanted to leave. Maybe the lady was just having a bad day. So maybe we'll try again another time.

The price-performance ratio is absolutely right here. Great breakfast at an unbeatable price in a nice atmosphere. Highly Recommended.

My new favorite restaurant in Paderborn! The vegan selection is huge and everything tastes super delicious!

One of the few restaurants in Paderborn that has all meat, vegetarian and vegan dishes. The food is very tasty, service is very attentive and good. Mundus is now becoming more and more our favorite restaurant in the city center.

Visited yesterday evening (Friday) at 10:30 p.m. Opening time officially until 00:00h. The waitresses all ignored us! At least they could have come to the table and said that, for whatever reason, they were no longer serving 1 1/2 hours before closing time. Service is different!

We spontaneously visited on Saturday and had the gourmet block with us. The welcome was super friendly and the food was delicious. Redeeming the voucher 2 for 1 is no problem. We will be very happy to come back.

Table at 7:15 p.m., then the quick starters arrived at 7:50 p.m. “Our starters are prepared quickly and are perfect for the small time window.” The small time window lasted until 9 p.m. So after 1:45 hours, a starter and 4 wheat later, the main course came, which was rather below average. You were fed up, but I wonder what the unique selling point of the store is supposed to be? No atmosphere, loud, too many tables, bad lighting design, not enough staff.Food 0815.

Good solid food, staff were very friendly and the dishes came very quickly.

Tried the Mundus for the first time. We reserved a table for two by email the day before. We were lucky because the next morning the place was fully booked except for 2 or 3 tables. The “late riser breakfast” runs until 3 p.m. on Sundays. The buffet is extensive and you can actually find everything you need for a delicious breakfast. Warm drinks are even included in the price of €16.90! This is of course really cheap! We paid €10 for 2 passion fruit spritzers (only 0.4 l) and I think that's really steep. The service was very friendly, but unfortunately not quite as “on point”. Maybe you still lack experience or an overview.

Tuesday evening without reservation, no problem, free choice of seats. To eat there was a Swedish potato with grilled vegetables and a Thai chicken curry. The grilled vegetables were burnt in places, so the waitress was made aware of this. There was a new grilled vegetable without any problems. You could tell from the taste of the potato that it was pre-cooked and ready to order. The Thai was not Thai, but rather Indian, but cleverly and interestingly prepared. It had fire but was a little over-seasoned. But the pulled chicken in it was brilliant. That was huge. The drinks menu is impressive. A large selection, sometimes a little off the beaten track when it comes to lemonades and spritzers. By 9 p.m. 2/3 of the tables were filled. Acoustically, the room lacks a solution, as the acoustics are quite loud, even with some empty tables, which is noticeable. The restaurant is characterized by the fact that it offers meat, vegan and vegetarian dishes. You can park in the Libori Gallery or in one of the three parking areas on Liboriberg, or in the Volksbank parking garage or at the cathedral parking lot. You have to walk a few meters as there are no parking spaces at the Kamp. There are high chairs in the restaurant so that small children can also be taken along.

We spent a wonderful evening with good food and fine drinks. Thank you for the nice hospitality, it certainly wasn't the last time we were with you!

Breakfast buffet is good, coffee included. Unfortunately it was very cold in the restaurant.

Ambience and service are great. But unfortunately we didn't like the food (2* burgers, one meat, one veggie) at all. Dull, dry, boring. Great for drinks and sitting and chatting.

Had a nice time here, I did not like the seating we had a table next to the door.The seating was an art from barstool/chair. I personally did not find them very comfortable. Maybe that is just me. All round very nice. Well worth a visit…Super Staff⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Die erste Erfahrung war durchwachsen aber um es vorweg zu nehmen auf jeden Fall gut genug, um gelegentlich einen zweiten Anlauf zu starten. Der Service war nett, aber sehr unerfahren / unprofessionell. Aber wie so oft im Leben, hat das durch die freundliche Art nicht wirklich gestört und wir haben uns dennoch gut betreut gefühlt . Leider war ein bestelltes Hauptgericht nicht mehr verfügbar - kann passieren in den Feiertagszeiten. Leider war auch die gewählte Alternative nicht verfügbar. Schade, dass die Mitarbeitende das immer erst registriert hat, als Sie die Bestellung am Tisch abgeschlossen hatte . Im dritten Anlauf hat es dann geklappt. Der vegane Hackbraten war lecker und in vernünftiger Qualität und Quantität. Das vegane Käseschnitzel war von der Portionsgröße riesig - geschmacklich allerdings verbesserungswürdig. Preislich war das Schnitzel plötzlich 3€ teurer als auf der Webseite - lt. der Mitarbeitenden "Feiertagszuschlag" ... Ungewöhnlich und das am 28.12. 😜 Die Bestellung des Desserts war dann wieder sehr anstrengend und wurde auch wieder teils falsch geliefert. Wir kommen an einem ruhigeren Tag für einen neuen Versuch wieder .

Super Restaurant mit extrem großen Auswahl an veganen Gerichten. Ich habe das vegane Schnitzel mit Spiegelei gegessen und war sehr begeistert. Es gibt aber natürlich auch alles in der klassischen Version! Riesen Empfehlung!

Super Service und ein total leckeres Essen genossen. Hier gehen wir gerne wieder hin um uns noch andere Gerichte schmecken zu lassen.

Klasse Personal, Tresen, Service, Leitung. Gepflegte Getränke. Gutes Essen. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder.

Wir hatten für den heutigen Sonntag einen Tisch für 11 Personen reserviert. Bei der Reservierung muß wohl was schief gegangen sein, da an diesem Tag nur das Frühstücksbuffet angeboten wurde, wir aber alle auf Mittagessen eingestellt waren. Super unbürokratisch wurde die Küche aktiviert, so dass wir dann dort alle sehr gut speisen könnten. Ein herzliches Dankeschön für diesen Lichtblick in der sonst so oft beschriebenen Servicewüste. Geschmack wie auch Qualität waren wirklich gut, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr leckeres Essen, besonders empfehlenswert die schwedischen Kartoffeln, und nette Bedienung.

Waren zum Frühstück dort: Super Zeiten! Gute & leckere Auswahl ( warm & kalt ) 1x Orangensaft, Kaffee, Tee, Kakao - so viel man mag Sehr freundliches Personal Waren sonntags gegen 11 Uhr da War natürlich sehr voll Haben zu zweit aber noch einen Platz bekommen. Aber alles immer gut aufgefüllt Würde es empfehlen, einen Tisch zu reservieren!! Wenn es so voll ist, kann es leider nicht vermieden werden, dass es Vorort sehr laut ist. ( Das Waffeleisen war im vorherigen Restaurant immer ein Highlight ) Kommen sehr gerne wieder!😊

Ehemals Eigenart , tolle Neugestaltung, Service ist eigtl immer gut , manchmal wenn zu voll, Geräuschpegel enorm , nette Inhaber und immer alle sehr bemüht, es dem Gast Recht zu machen 👍

Ich war bis jetzt 2x an einem Sonntag für das Langschläferfrühstück vor Ort. Dieses geht von 10:00-15:00. Beim ersten mal waren wir um 11:00 Uhr da. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und schön angerichtet. Es gibt zu dem Frühstück einen O-saft und ansonsten eine Kaffe, Kakao und Tee Flatrate, was es sonst unseres Wissens nirgends in Paderborn gibt. Der Kakao schmeckt nur leider eher nach Milch. Die Brötchen und die Croissants waren wirklich sehr lecker und dazu gibt es auch kleine Brotkorbe, die man befüllen kann. Es gab Bacon, Rührei, Würstchen und viel Aufschnitt und originalen Nutella. Alles wirklich lecker! Bei unserem ersten Besuch war immer alles aufgefüllt. Bei unserem 2 Besuch waren wir zum Längschläferfrühstück um 13 Uhr vor Ort. Leider war zu dem Zeitpunkt vieles leer oder es sah nicht mehr sehr schmackhaft aus wie z.B die Melone. Wir mussten also öfters Anfragen ob es wieder aufgefüllt werden könnte. Was aber auch ohne Probleme durchgeführt worden ist. Auch hier hat der Kakao wieder nur nach Milch geschmeckt. Wenn wir uns nochmal dazu entschließen sollten hier zu Frühstücken würde wir aber direkt zu Anfang also um 10 Uhr vorbei kommen. Was uns noch gefehlt hat, wäre Mett, Senf und vielleicht wie beim früheren Kampus Café eine Waffelmaschine. Das war nämlich echt ein Highlight aber das sind natürlich Wünsche die wir persönlich hätten. Ansonsten ist es dort vom Ambiente her sehr schön und sieht aus wie das Kampus Café früher, welches wir sehr vermissen.

Gutes Essen, sehr zuvorkommende Bedienung und angemessene Preise!

Wir waren seit der Eröffnung des Mundus im Sommer 2023 nun mehrfach dort und haben uns durch die Karte gegessen und getrunken – und was sollen wir sagen? Das Mundus ist vielseitig und toll! Ein echter Gewinn für die Paderborner Gastro! Frische Gerichte, bei denen Qualität und Portion stimmen, eine tolle Auswahl an veggie und veganen Gerichten und ein freundliches Team, das mit jedem Besuch eingespielter wird. Die Drinks sind prima, werden serviert wie es sich gehört & man kann sogar neue Brands entdecken. Nur fürs Ambiente gibt’s 4/5 Sterne, aber nicht weil es schlecht ist – bei ordentlich Betrieb (und diesen hat sich das Restaurant verdient) ist es halt etwas lauter. Sauber und angenehm ist es trotzdem und Kerzen brennen auch. Fazit: uns werdet ihr noch öfter sehen. Bitte macht weiter so.

Service, Essen, Ambiente passen 100-Prozentig. Der Einblick in die Küche zeigt die frische Zubereitung der Gerichte. Das ist heutzutage nicht mehr selbstverständlich. Absolut bemerkenswert!

Auch für Fleischfans ein Kracher!!! Und man kann auch leckere vegane Alternativen ausprobieren

Wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Essen war kecker und der Service sehr freundlich und kompetent. Werden bald wieder kommen 🙂

Wir waren jetzt schon mehrere Male zu Gast im Mundus und egal ob nur auf ein paar Drinks oder mit Freunden zum Kaffee und Kuchen oder Abendessen - wir waren jedes Mal sehr zufrieden. Die breit gefächerte Karte deckt wirklich jeden Ernährungsstil ab. Hier hat mir das Rote Beete Carpaccio und auch der Burger mit leckerem Brioche Brötchen sehr lecker geschmeckt. Auch die Getränkekarte ist sehr umfangreich. Das Personal war uns gegenüber sehr freundlich und man merkt, dass sich hier alle ins Zeug legen. Besonders gut hat uns auch der nach hinten raus und ruhig gelegene Innenhof gefallen. Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen und können es sehr weiterempfehlen.

Sehr gutes Frühstücksbüffet und wir haben auf Nachfrage eine sehr leckere und umfangreiche vegane Frühstücksplatte! Super nettes Team und schöne Atmosphäre. Auf jeden Fall eine Empfehlung :)

Wir waren zum Frühstück dort, Buffet mit allem, was zum Frühstück gehört, Kaffee, Tee oder Kakao satt, alles zu einem gutem Preis. Endlich in diesem Punkt ein würdiger Nachfolger von ehemaligen Kampus.

Wir freuen uns sehr über die Eröffnung eines Restaurants, bei dem es so viele vegane Optionen gibt! Wir hatten das Rahmschnitzel und die Rösti und beides hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Hinzu kommt dass die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich sind und einen guten Job machen. Wir werden in Zukunft auf jeden Fall öfter kommen 😊

War mit einer Freundin zum Abendessen dort. Das Thai-Curry war ein Gedicht. Hat unseren schönen Tag perfekt abgerundet.

Wir waren zum Abendessen hier. Das Essen war nicht von sehr guter Qualität, mein Lachs war offensichtlich nicht frisch und die schwedischen Kartoffeln waren nicht gut. Das Essen war überhaupt nicht gewürzt. Es gab eine Kellnerin, die fast alle männlichen Kunden belästigte und mit ihnen flirtete. Es war sehr aufdringlich und störte die Kommunikation.

Schöne Einrichtung, nettes Personal und leckeres Essen. Es ist für Alle was dabei mit vielen veganen Varianten und großer Getränke Auswahl!

Hier fühlt man sich immer willkommen! Egal ob zum Frühstück mit der Familie, auf einen Kaffee mit einer Freundin oder Essen gehen und gemütlichen Zusammensein mit Freunden oder Kolleg*innen. Das Mundus ist gut zu erreichen und es ist für alle was auf der Karte! Wir haben unser Sommerfest der Firma dort ausklingen lassen und sind immer wieder dort zu finden.
