Very nice funny people working there the food tastes good I can only recommend

I don't know what went wrong that day. But it was a complete disaster. We're staying at a small bed and breakfast hotel. So, just breakfast. Four adults and four children ordered food from Mr. Döner. This is where the misery begins: Waiting time (for a 3km distance) - about 100 minutes (more than 1.5 hours). It was also announced on the phone, which is okay. Difficult with children, but okay. Then: with the "doner plate with steakhouse fries," you get a two-tiered cornstarch plate - okay. Underneath the doner meat are maybe 5-8 fries in the smaller compartment of the plate. The large side is filled with salad (which was fresh and delicious, by the way). The doner meat was "dead," soggy, crunchy, and really not tasty. The "pide" hadn't been cooked all the way through. It was still dough. Highly recommended for sensitive stomachs. - Or do you have to call in advance for something like that? The nuggets (8 pieces) were "half-empty." More breading than anything else. And the meat (which you really have to search for) was dry as... I can't think of a comparison. None of the children ate the nuggets. "Kids' menu with nuggets and steakhouse fries": I don't need to say anything more about the nuggets. And the fries? They were missing. We then complained about them. The generous offer was that the next time we order, we get this menu completely free - we're on vacation here. We had it delivered to a hotel. Please reconsider this offer. + 1 hungry child (out of 4) "Döner im Brötchen" is actually a kebab wrap or rotisserie wrap. After a long search, we finally found one or two (as already described) poorly prepared strips of meat. This dining experience was hopefully a unique experience. But if we're ever in the area again, we won't choose this restaurant. Unfortunately, in my frustration, I forgot to take photos. It's especially a shame to show the undercooked pide.

I recently went to Mr. Döner in Adenau with a colleague. When we were ordering, there was a somewhat odd comment about the size of our order. The wait was extremely long, much longer than expected, and communication left a lot to be desired. The service was rather lacking, and the food itself was only average, with no particular highlights. Overall, it was rather disappointing."

Food was good , they have an English menu on their website very practical, but the don't speak a lot of English, enough close to the nurburgring, parking very close to them

NO quality anymore. €18 for a salad with pieces of meat and a store-bought tortilla wrap. A doner roll "with everything" and tzatziki now means: lettuce, a bit of cabbage, carrots, and a bit of thin meat. Missing: red cabbage, cucumbers, tomatoes, spicy cheese, onions, and pepperoni. The sauce is nonexistent, but drips down like white fat. The meat was partly hard, cold, incredibly overseasoned, and therefore slightly spicy. A very, very dry meal. Three to four men behind the counter, all wearing street clothes, and only one wearing something resembling "work clothes." All in all, terrible, no longer recommended.

Friendly staff, fast service, food was very good, completely different seasoning than the neighbor's.

There used to be more. Breadsticks were missing, poorly presented. I've been a guest there after events for over three years, but yesterday's wasn't that great.

Waited 55 minutes for 6 nuggets and chips outrageous if you’re English, don’t come here

Ok- let me start by saying I’ve been to Mr. Döner many many times and have always loved it. As soon as we arrived today I noticed a difference , the entire vibe was off. I didn’t recognize any of the guys working there and we ordered the doner teller which is my usual order. It used to be served so neatly and it was very delicious. Today it was served in a heaping pile covered in sauce. The taste was not terrible but it was not what I expected. Come to find out - the previous guys who ran it are no longer there and I think it’s now connected to the other kebab place down the street. That all being said - IF you’re not familiar with the top tier quality of the previous Mr. Döner, it’s not an awful place for lunch. But if you’re expecting that old delicious food-you will be let down not only by the food but by the off putting vibe in there.

Unfortunately, I didn't take a photo of this incredibly delicious salad. It was a very large portion and beautifully presented. The rest of our group was also more than satisfied with the food and the selection. Highly recommended!

You order here again after ages because Alibaba is now closed on Wednesdays and are once again immensely disappointed. You're told the food will be ready in 10 minutes, and then you can see the pizza being prepared upon arrival. Only to find out, once again, that it's not the food you ordered. The people waiting, who weren't even allowed to order, actually wanted it to be something to eat...

Went here with my friends after a day at Nürburgring staff we’re incredibly rude and shrugged us away, waited upwards of a hour for a simple order for disappointing food, personally would not recommend at all unless you have enough time to crochet a entire jumper and like mediocre food this may be the perfect spot for you and definitely had no time for a few polite British boys.

One of the worst customer experiences I’ve had in a long time. I waited at the counter for five minutes to place an order, only to be told — with no signage or explanation — that if I wanted to sit in, I had to order from the table. Then, when I did so, I was told I needed to go back inside and get my own drinks. Total contradiction. No clarity, no logic, and no effort to help. From the moment I arrived, the staff were cold and dismissive. I was polite and respectful, but I genuinely felt like I was being treated differently — possibly because I wasn’t a local. Whether it was the language barrier or something else, the atmosphere felt unwelcoming and indifferent. To make things worse, my order wasn’t even put through. When I asked about it after waiting, I was met with blank stares and no apology. After sitting and having drinks, I was only then told they don’t accept card — forcing me to leave the venue and find a cash machine. Again, no signage, no warning, just poor communication. And when the food did come, it looked like it had been thrown on the plate without care. Sloppy, unappetising, and completely off-putting. Shocking service from start to finish. Avoid this place if you value good food, clear communication, or basic courtesy.

Since the change of ownership, it's been incredibly bad. Ordered a Coke, got a Coke Zero. Ordered a doner kebab plate without salad and fries, got a doner kebab plate with salad and rice. The staff didn't understand why I was complaining. When I pointed out that I had ordered fries, they replied that I had rice. The same thing happened at the next table. A disaster.

We ordered and had the kebabs delivered. Then we noticed that the outside of the kebabs was dirty with sand. All three of them! We had to eat the kebabs because we were hungry, but the quality was also very poor. The dough quickly fell apart; it was far too thin; one kebab had too little meat, and the other had too little sauce. Terrible!! We ate them all because we paid for them.

Tasty food, good value for money, and convenient opening hours. Great spot for a quick and satisfying meal!

It's getting worse, especially with new staff, in my opinion, ordered pasta combinazione, a real disappointment, this has happened twice already, cheese on top rock hard and maybe a tablespoon of sauce, maybe the guys don't know any better, the boss needs to go back behind the counter, I'll talk to him in peace soon

The pizza wasn't cooked properly. They didn't have lahmacun even though it's on the menu.

Since the change of ownership, the quality has declined. The staff is overwhelmed and unfriendly. The food used to be better.

We've been eating there for years. It's not worth another visit. The staff barely understands the language. The wrong food was brought to us, and the quality was very poor. This was our last visit. The restrooms lacked hand sanitizer. The meat was very poor quality!

The food is delicious - you can serve it too. Lack lies in communication. After four minutes of waiting, I was approached at the counter... no "Hello, what would it be" and no question "for here or to take away?" "I'll bring it to the table" nothing like that. A rolled Lamacun was ordered. Get a great prepared pizza version. It definitely tasted good. Unfortunately, the younger man's uncommunicative version meant a minus. Senior boss? I asked in between and at the end "everything is ok" hence 3 out of 5 stars for the service.

First impressions can be deceiving. It looks like a small kebab shop, but when the order was brought to the table we began to be amazed. Mega portions that also taste really good. I will definitely come back!

Terrible service Terrible kebab Failure

Ordered a kebab pocket without tomatoes with garlic sauce. After 45 minutes of waiting on site and people who ordered after us but also left before us with a kebab, I got a spicy, cold bag with a cocktail and tzatziki. It couldn't get any worse. I expected little and was still very disappointed.

Unfortunately the store is simply overcrowded. As soon as it is not a "standard" day, a large number of the products on the menu are not available. Too bad.

I thought the kebab was tasty but needed a lot of improvement. For one thing, no fresh bread is used, I can tell because mine has already become crusty at the bottom. It wasn't cut properly either. I ate 2 kebabs and could have managed 3 given the small portions. The first kebab was really very poorly topped. The second time they did it better, as is actually normal. Still, it's a shame, because the first one also cost €8. The employees take the meat out of the “collection container” with their hands (gloves) without tongs and put it on the kebab. The black glove gives the whole thing a somewhat “professional and upscale” look, which is actually still unhygienic and unnecessary. Especially since the gloves weren't changed regularly. At least not during my 30 minute visit. The toilets were clean and there was also decent soap and dry towels. But I have to say that overall it wasn't anything special. The bread on both kebabs was torn and was not in an edible bar. The kebab pizza wasn't bad, but it would have been better if the meat had been added shortly before the end or after baking. So it just got extremely dry I thought the fries were good as steakhouse fries. But I would have been happy if it was there.

Super super tasty, fresh salads, with a touch of fresh 🍋 lemon. Visually great too! Our route from Cologne always leads past there when we drive to the Eifel. Service very nice. Baklava and tea were also included on the house. We'll be back

The food is wonderful, I'm now a regular there and whenever I'm in the area I get a kebab pizza with hollondaise sauce. For €11 the price-performance ratio is great. The service is also great as we often get baklava and chai tea at the house's expense. I'm more than satisfied (The kebab pizza is better than sexual intercourse)

Definitely the best kebab in Adenau and the surrounding area. Unfortunately, the quality has declined since it opened. The "döner kebab chef" spoke little or no German, which is why the cashier had to show him what I wanted on the kebab. Unfortunately prices are very high. 8 euros for a normal kebab... What a shame. My son was given the choice between a lollipop or Capri Sun as a gift, which was very nice.

If you have the chance, you should eat locally. Super prepared and simply delicious. About the ambience: If you're there because of the Nürburgring and don't let yourself be bothered by the drivers who want to present their cars with sound, it's great.

Friendly, fast, everything under control, an eye for everything and everything right. Great worker really! Despite the rush, rain and stress, we kept an overview of everything and took the orders correctly and checked in front of everyone what was being done behind the counter :-D The whole thing was amusing to watch. Food was great! Very tasty, large portions and everything fresh! Price-performance is amazing! Thank you very much and definitely see you next time we are in the area. Kind regards from Zurich.

Really good German chicken / beef kebabs. Came twice in two days after being recommended by my other half who came here last year. Number 11 is meat and chips. Number 3 is the wooden board Both I r commend Chips are a must, steakhouse chips with a light seasoning

Very friendly staff, good service and a boss who really enjoys pampering his guests with culinary delights, you can tell. I'm already looking forward to the next visit when we come back to Adenau from Aachen!
