Mr. T in Uelzen

The food tastes very good and is definitely filling. Of course, it depends on what you order. We were here for our company Christmas party, with about 20 people. The staff is friendly and quick with service, as the restaurant is rather small and therefore there's hardly any waiting time. The rooms have more of a German pub feel, but there's plenty of room to move around.

We had our Christmas party there. The atmosphere was great, the food was great, but the service... well, the drinks could have arrived faster. Waiting 30-35 minutes for a mojito is a bit long for me. Otherwise, I was very satisfied. In their defense, I don't know how busy the place was, as I was there late for the party.

A truly wonderful evening with a large group of 23 people. Food preferences were solicited and communicated in advance to ensure everyone received their meals at roughly the same time. The preparation (including communication and last-minute changes) was incredibly professional, as was the evening itself. Food, service, and ambiance were all top-notch. Only one star deducted because it was unfortunately quite noisy in the restaurant. Highly recommended overall.

The service was truly excellent. We were shown to a table very quickly without a reservation, and the waiter was incredibly friendly. The food was above average; we had "your mom's" and the fries with minced meat. It was good food, but somehow a little bland. However, the quality was really good. And the ambiance was truly fantastic; the whole restaurant, including the restrooms, had real style. The place is definitely inviting and worth a visit.

Booked online, and everything went smoothly. Easy, quick, and hassle-free. The kids got something to color. The food was fantastic, the sodas very refreshing. Perfect for the season, they had a pumpkin cake—I've never had such a delicious cake. Highly recommended for anyone who likes speculoos. We'll definitely be back.

Today, we were at Mr. T's with 8 adults and 2 toddlers. It was my first visit to this burger joint. I'd heard great things and wasn't disappointed. Coloring materials were brought to the table for the children right away – very thoughtful! The ambiance and food were truly first-class. The kitchen staff knows their stuff. And the staff makes you feel completely welcome and that they enjoy their work. Very, very polite and friendly! I'm so glad we chose Mr. T's for our birthday family dinner today. After having to wait about 30-40 minutes for a table on our first spontaneous visit, we decided to reserve one in advance for our second visit. We had a beef brisket burger (Triple B, meaning with three slices of meat) – my absolute personal recommendation, simply amazing! I've rarely eaten such a delicious burger. The pulled pork burger was also excellent – ​​although we both felt there was too much meat on it, but that's a matter of taste. Side dishes: fries, dips, the cheesecake, and drinks were all good. The service was also attentive and friendly. We paid €75 for two people. That's normal these days, and really justified given the quality!

I've been here several times now and have always been completely satisfied. You can choose how the burgers are done, and the meat is perfectly seasoned. Nice atmosphere and friendly service. At Mr. T, you can get typical American dishes and a large selection of beer. I really enjoy eating there and would recommend it to anyone. It has its own charm, especially in terms of the decor. However, you should remember to reserve a table in advance. It gets busy, especially in the evenings, so you'll need to allow some time.

It was delicious again. For a starter, I had toasted bread with chimichurri. For the main course, I had the classic burger with sweet potato fries. The dips were aioli and honey thyme mayo. The service was quick and friendly.

One star deduction for very few parking spaces

It's always a pleasure to eat here 🥰 I've tried the entire menu by now, and even though some things weren't to my taste, everything else was delicious. No matter the dish, it was always perfectly prepared and thoroughly enjoyable, even if it wasn't to my liking. This includes both the alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The homemade lemonades are always a must, so before you get a stale Coke, try the lemonades 😉

I went to Mr. T's last week and was completely blown away. The burger and fries were great, as was the homemade raspberry lemonade. Coming from Berlin, where there are plenty of good burger joints, I was pleasantly surprised. All in all, a lovely visit—just what I needed after a short hike in the Uelzen Heath. The service and ambiance were top-notch. Everything was very stylish, especially the restrooms. :)

This place is an absolute stunner! A definite recommendation for any carnivore. Spare ribs and pulled pork: out of this world! I had flashbacks to BBQs in the US. Completely authentic flavor. A lot of love and skill go into this. Buttermilk chicken: crunchy, tasty, awesome.

The food was manageable, the service was awful, although that's a good thing because the toilets were nice. "The customer is king" isn't part of the vocabulary in this establishment. With a bill of more than €100 per person, there's a fight over 4cl (4cl warm!!!) on the house. After that, the juice pusher obviously took 30 minutes to arrive. Anyone who likes drinks thrown at their table should accept that "thank you" and "please" aren't part of the vocabulary of the so-called staff. Tables are shared here like in a beer tent. Unauthorized third-party advertising is heavily instigated at nightfall and illuminated like a busy highway. On an evening when you're hoping for good food and drinks, the most interesting thing shouldn't be surreptitious advertising. This is blatant consumer deception. I also got a bout of diarrhea, many thanks to the kitchen. If you have too much money and want to waste it on bad service, then this is the place for you.

Today we tried it because we were so harassed, and we were a bit disappointed...the ambiance was great, and the restrooms with the swinging doors made me think, because you can hear almost everything, sounds and smells. The beef gozila was more like an onion gozzila...I imagine pulpok to be something else, there were still whole pieces, but the taste was okay. The staff was nice except for one waitress, but maybe she was having a bad day. We sat outside where the cutlery was loudly thrown into a container...we were seated with strangers at the table who then started talking loudly on their phones...now we know all about Aunt Uschi's delicious cake 🎂....

Very centrally located on a quiet side street. You can sit comfortably outside. The burgers are excellent, and they offer a reasonably priced lunch special. Homemade lemonades that aren't too sweet are also available. Service is extremely friendly and attentive. All in all, a successful interpretation of American cuisine! Highly recommended.

This restaurant combines modern cuisine with an excellent modern ambiance and high-quality products. My husband and I, along with our three-and-a-half-year-old son and a good friend, visited the restaurant and were delighted. From start to finish, everything seemed homemade and prepared to a high standard. We were on vacation near Uelzen and, based on the positive reviews, we happily ventured out to visit this restaurant. Unfortunately, the day before, we had a very bad experience at another restaurant in a similar area. The ambiance has an industrial look, and the food focuses on burgers, spare ribs, and American dishes. We chose a starter and a main course, but dessert was out of the question because we were so full from the delicious food. The drinks were also excellent. All in all, we highly recommend this restaurant, as it's a bit more difficult to find somewhere to eat when you're not from the area.

A great experience for everyone involved. My girlfriend recently gave up gluten and said it was the best burger ever. The burger was asked for doneness when ordering. Prices were standard for a burger restaurant, but the quality was better. The cocktail menu looked promising; I'll try it next time ;)

I ordered a 350g rump steak and got a steak with half the fat. The doneness wasn't right! I'm really angry that they served me such a steak. It's hard to know what drove the chef to do this. It certainly wasn't customer-friendly. They replaced the steak, and we had to wait 20 minutes for the replacement. This isn't how we expected the food to be. A very poor performance!

We ate at Mr.T's again today, July 12, 2025, and it was simply fantastic. We had a very friendly waitress, and the atmosphere is simply fantastic. We had a classic burger and two buttermilk chicken burgers, along with bruschetta, nuggets, and sweet potato fries. We also had the homemade lemonade, highly recommended! It was absolutely fantastic today, and the value for money was perfect. We would definitely come back and highly recommend Mr.T's to everyone.

First of all: The burgers and dessert are amazing! I think this place has developed an unhealthy attitude due to the hype. The service staff was truly the epitome of utter indifference. Was it because we were so bold as to come without a reservation and ask if we could eat? Turning us away would have been perfectly understandable, but don't tell us we could stay if you then practiced uncaring service. I would have thought they'd still be happy about sales. But maybe I'm just spoiled by Lüneburg's gastronomy, which always welcomes you with open arms. We were on the terrace, the interior was completely dark, which wasn't my vibe and I found it strange. But maybe it's not always like that? I really wanted to like the place. Maybe I'll come back with a reservation so no one gets caught off guard and has to rush off to work ;)

As we've done many times before, we drove from Lüneburg to Uelzen because the burgers are so delicious. This time, however, we were a bit disappointed. We had ordered a classic burger for each of our children (4 & 7 years old). Well, they had it cooked. After they were both full, we noticed that both burgers were still red inside. Okay, so one of the kids had already fallen into the well, and they had each eaten about half the burger. While clearing the table, I showed the waitress and explained that the burgers weren't cooked through. The only comment was why we didn't say something right away. I replied that we only noticed when the kids were finished eating. That seemed to be the end of it. No apology, or maybe a scoop of ice cream for the kids or something. Oh well... otherwise, we enjoyed the burgers.

And the coffee is a pleasure in all variations. The location always invites you to come back again and again. Today we were at Mr. T.'s: I ate spare ribs for 23 EUR and 2 wheat beers. My wife and son each got a burger with an add-on and a drink (soda). In the end I paid over 100 EUR. I find that very cheeky! If in the future the policy on food only charges 7% VAT. Instead of charging 19%, I'm curious to see how the price will change here, if at all. I'm sure I only get one rib with my spare ribs and the other one stays as it is. Sorry, but I feel like I've been "ripped off" here!

The three of us had dinner there last night. The service staff were really very nice and knew all the dishes and were able to give good advice. The service overall was very great. We were asked several times whether we were satisfied or whether we needed anything else. Unfortunately we waited 45 minutes for our food, but that was probably because the restaurant was very busy. We were absolutely thrilled with the cheesecake. We have never eaten such a delicious cheesecake before and even though my partner is a chef himself, we were all really thrilled.

Mr. T is certainly one of the most modern restaurants in Uelzen with continued success for years. So a lot is being done right here. As is often the case, the food is a matter of taste. Personally, the burgers are too greasy for me, you can't taste the individual ingredients well, and I miss the final whistle. Reservation is almost mandatory. The place is always packed, it's always blazing hot and it's loud. Anyone who has problems following conversations in noisy environments will not feel comfortable here.

Despite my ordering error, the boss and the employees tried very hard to do everything to ensure that I was satisfied. But that was me and the fault was mine. I can definitely recommend Mr. T!!!
