Huge buffet, delicious things or freshly prepared.

I honestly don't understand how others rated this 4.5 stars. The reception was completely lackluster, and communication was difficult due to language barriers. Questions were quickly responded to with irritation. Friendliness, a "please" or "thank you," and any kind of sympathy are nowhere to be found here. You can hardly call this a restaurant—it's more of a cafeteria atmosphere. Music? None. All you can hear are the conversations of other guests and the clatter of plates. Some of the food was very dry. Everything is grilled at the same time: poultry, pork, fish, even vegan dishes—without any separation. I can't recommend these places with tables that serve the sole purpose of filling your stomach—especially not for €26. It's more like mass processing. A real shame.

Unfortunately, my visit to this restaurant was a disappointment. The **service left much to be desired** – friendliness doesn't seem to be a priority here. The overall atmosphere was more reminiscent of a cafeteria than a cozy restaurant. The **mass processing** principle was used, which lost any sense of hospitality. The drinks were also a disappointment. **Not original products, but inferior substitutes** that ruined any enjoyment. If you value quality, you've definitely come to the wrong place. Unfortunately, an experience I can't recommend!

Doesn't align with our values. Very unfriendly. Not for international business dinners. We (a German company operating internationally) were there with a group of 12 people, including those from offices in France, Ireland, Scotland, and India. When asked for an English drinks menu, the (Asian) staff member replied that people should learn German, as she herself had to. We initially thought this was a joke. However, as the evening progressed, after further unfriendly and highly arrogant treatment (the waitress seemed to be able to afford it), it became increasingly clear that the response was completely serious. Naturally, Mr. Pan Magdeburg has since been discontinued for business dinners. (The incident occurred in June 2024 and marks the anniversary of this year's colleague meeting.)

The best Chinese food I've ever had. The service staff has a great sense of humor, simply fantastic. I'll be back.

I've been there before and had to pay a 10 euro fine because my son hadn't finished his plate. It's no joke. The boss scolded me severely for it and I was given a dressing down in front of everyone else at our table and I was given a 10 euro fine which the boss added to the bill as a service charge!! But now to the current incident. I didn't really want to go there anymore, but we had to go the Friday before our holiday because we were invited to the registry office and I didn't want to be rude!! Well, the food was cold, the selection was exactly the same as the last time we visited, nothing great!!! But I ate my plate because I didn't feel like dealing with the boss!!! But then it got really bad!!! The wedding couple's child, 11 months old, had eaten 2 pieces of pasta from his mum's plate and they charged me for that!!! A disgrace!!! But that reflects what I experienced on my first visit. Money is everything, the boss needs everything you can get from you and I'm not above charging for anything, really sad!!! I'm excited to see if my review will be deleted like the first time!!! Because it's extremely rare for bad reviews to be posted online here! Furthermore, the total number of reviews has been very high since the site opened; people must be posting reviews every day, which is strange!

Today was the first time I ate there with my partner, and I have to say: hats off! The food was absolutely delicious; everything was fresh, even the sushi. I've rarely eaten such good sushi. The staff were super friendly and actually quite accommodating; we had barely sat down at a table for two when a member of staff came over and took our drink order. We had our drinks in less than a minute. It may be quite unassuming from the outside, but the interior is absolutely modern with the latest technology. The restrooms are also clean; we've never seen such a clean restroom in a restaurant. The price is also simply fantastic! We can highly recommend it.

Can one or woman go out to eat very well

Today is Father's Day (a Christian holiday), not many people know, just a side note. My family has already been there for dinner, and today I went for the first time. Thank you so much to all of you who work there, you're amazing. I can only recommend it to people who want to eat their way around the world or try something new. The buffet food has declined in quality. The ice cream has improved. Some of the small cakes are still frozen and tasteless. The drinks are overpriced, like everywhere else. No restaurateur should be surprised that people aren't going to restaurants anymore!

To sum it up: a buffet focused on quantity. Anyone who wants to experience the depths of German food culture firsthand is in the right place. Here, plates are filled until their beer bellies burst. A table robot brings drinks and a sparkler to the birthday guest, accompanied by annoying music. This whole lack of culture weighed heavily on my stomach for a week.

Highly recommended. You can fill your own plate so you can try out a lot. On Sundays you also have the opportunity to make something sizzle yourself. This time there was also zebra, shark, kangaroo etc. So if you want to try something new at a reasonable price then it's a hit.

We ate here as a group during the week. The selection is huge and, above all, delicious. We'd love to come back. The robots that drive around the restaurant are funny. I think it would be great if the small buffet were also offered as a selection during the week. Because none of us took anything from the “freshly prepared” buffet.

When we were there unannounced at peak time today, we were quickly assigned a table. Delicious, lots of choice and clean. The staff is always friendly and when I compare it to other Asians, they understand my language. I love the BellaBot as a service force. I specifically ordered drinks again so that the cat would deliver them.

We ate diet today and had to experience how a large family was yelled at by an employee because they came in with a stroller that had somewhat dirty wheels. That was a very negative experience, the employee there wasn't loud but actually shouted at the guests there. They were then forced to put the stroller outside. For me, even with a small child and a stroller, it's absolutely not possible and has nothing to do with increased stress. You only see the € signs in your colleagues' eyes.

For an all-you-can-eat buffet restaurant it is attractive, reasonable in price and quality.

Yes, I was deducted. I actually just ordered a Coke. We were there on a class trip and I didn't want to eat anything. The waitress wrote that down. I then give her the money and she only gives me €1.50 back even though it actually only cost eight euros. I gave her €20. I'll never eat out again.

Service was very friendly, the price-performance ratio was also OK. Since it was Saturday evening, the place was packed and it was correspondingly loud. The food and service at Mr. Pan were really top! The team was very attentive and friendly. The dishes were fresh, tasty and perfectly prepared - you can tell that they cook with love here. Unfortunately, there are also some negative points that marred the visit somewhat. On the one hand, it was incredibly loud in the restaurant, almost like a train station. Unfortunately, the background noise made it a little difficult to have a cozy meal, so it was difficult to have a conversation. The parking situation is also more than satisfactory. There are hardly any parking spaces nearby, and the chance of finding a free space right next to the restaurant is about as good as winning the jackpot in the lottery. Despite these two flaws, Mr. Pan definitely remains a good choice for delicious food, but a bit of patience and flexibility is required if you want to eat here.

You can't really rate the service....hello, what do you want to drink?, and goodbye.....everything else is just clearing away without comment, without saying a word to the guest or asking if everything is OK. In addition, these service robots drive around there, which transport some food from several tables at once, so that every guest turns up his nose at all the other plates at least once until he gets his own from the "service trainee". hat. the entire local area is informed about a birthday child in the form of a loud, disturbing birthday song, which sounds LOUDLY from the service robotor... No GO!!!! ... huge selection of dishes (including so much convinience, especially in the dessert area, that has little to do with Asia....small foam kisses, mini cream puffs, ready-made frozen cakes, canned fruit... etc etc) less is more!!... The "warm food selection" is really very large and plentiful, but 90% lukewarm to cold. Conclusion...you can do it...eat...drink...go again! Cozy dinner: none...

Das war mein erster und letzter Besuch bei Mr. Pan. Aber im Detail: 1. Das Essen egal welches Fleisch, es schmeckt alles gleich, weil es alles in der gleichen Soße zubereitet wird. Einzig die Schärfe variiert etwas. Einzige Ausnahme waren die Satespieße, besser das was diese sein sollten. Die waren aus jeweils 2 Fleischstücken im Format 6x6x2 cm zusammengesetzt und in Erdnussbuttersoße. Mal abgesehen davon ist wirklich alles Fleisch mit Natron behandelt, was deutlich an der Konsistenz zu merken ist. Aber es gibt ja noch das Grillmenü. So wie es aussah, hat man das Fleisch an Ort und Stelle auftauen lassen. Es klebte alles noch genau so zusammen wie es eingefroren war. Der Rest war ok, habe ich in anderen ähnlichen Restaurants aber auch schon besser gesehen. 2. Der Service Ok, das reservieren hätten wir uns sparen können oder besser auf jeden Fall sein lassen sollen. Wer so angekommen ist, konnte sich den Tisch aussuchen, wir nicht und der Ecktisch am Weg zum Buffet war wirklich nicht das was ich ausgesucht hätte. Ansonsten wurden die leeren Teller zügig abgeräumt und auch die Getränke schnell geliefert. 3. Das Ambiente Das das Restaurant groß ist, wusste ich ja. Das aber scheinbar Null Schallschutz existiert ist schon heftig. Es war extrem laut, was sich natürlich potenziert, weil man wirklich auch am eigenen Tisch schreien musste um vom Gegenüber verstanden zu werden. Was ebenfalls extrem stört, dutzende Kinder die scheinbar ohne jede Aufsicht durch das Restaurant rennen, schreien und toben. Ok, die Kellner haben teilweise sogar noch mitgemacht. 4.Die Preise Für Erwachsene finde ich 26€ ok, für unsere 10-jährige aber sind 18€ völlig überzogen. Wir haben mal überschlagen, Das was sie gegessen hat dürfte ungefähr bei 6€ gelegen haben. Den Schnitt da auf 18€ zu legen finde ich persönlich ausverschämt und abzocke von Familien. Die Getränkepreise, sind zwar nicht Günstig, aber gerade noch im Rahmen. Fazit: Für große Familienfeiern ohne Kinder mag das ok sein, oder wenn man Kinder hat die ganze Berge verdrücken können. Nicht zu empfehlen ist das Restaurant für einen romantischen Abend oder für Familien mit normal essenden Kindern. Die bei Google angegebenen Preise, sind übrigens inklusive Getränken nicht zu halten. Unter 30€ pro Person geht hier nichts!

That was my first and last visit to Mr. Pan. But in detail: 1. The food No matter the meat, it all tastes the same because it is all prepared in the same sauce. Only the sharpness varies slightly. The only exception were the satay skewers, or rather what they were supposed to be. They were each made up of 2 pieces of meat measuring 6x6x2 cm and in peanut butter sauce. Apart from that, all meat is treated with baking soda, which is clearly noticeable in the consistency. But there is still the grill menu. From the looks of it, the meat was left to thaw on the spot. Everything was stuck together just as it was frozen. The rest was ok, but I've seen better in other similar restaurants. 2. The service Ok, we could have saved ourselves the reservation or should definitely have skipped it. Whoever arrived that way could choose the table, we couldn't and the corner table on the way to the buffet really wasn't what I would have chosen. Otherwise, the empty plates were cleared away quickly and the drinks were delivered quickly. 3. The ambience I knew that the restaurant was big. But the fact that there seems to be zero sound insulation is quite impressive. It was extremely loud, which of course increased because you really had to shout at your own table in order to be heard by the other person. What is also extremely disturbing are dozens of children running, screaming and romping around the restaurant apparently without any supervision. Ok, some of the waiters even joined in. 4.The prices I think €26 is ok for adults, but €18 is completely excessive for our 10-year-old. We calculated that what she ate was probably around €6. Personally, I think setting the average price at €18 is shameful and a rip-off of families. The drinks prices aren't cheap, but they're still within reasonable limits. Conclusion: This may be ok for large family celebrations without children, or if you have children you can eat the whole mountain. The restaurant is not recommended for a romantic evening or for families with children who eat normally. Incidentally, the prices stated on Google cannot be maintained including drinks. Nothing works here for less than €30 per person!

Nice shop with friendly staff. The main point of criticism was that I personally didn't find the sauces at the buffet very good. Food from the buffet was sometimes very cold. Since the restaurant is very open, the background noise didn't bother me personally. Positive Restaurant in general very well maintained. Toilets are also great if you don't value every single joint.

We wanted to eat at this restaurant on a Friday lunchtime and sat down at a table of our choice. That was a mistake, because we were clearly told by a young waitress that the two of us could only sit at one of the few tables for two. The assigned table was right next to the passage and a quiet meal would not have been possible here. The restaurant was only a third full, so we wouldn't have blocked a seat for anyone. We then left and had lunch somewhere else.

We spontaneously wanted to eat there on a Saturday. The parking lot was already very full, but we thought it was big enough and we could definitely get space for two, especially since many guests came out. So we asked for a table. We were seated at a small table in a niche, then asked the nice waitress for our drinks and then realized that one chair was right in the aisle and we were constantly being jostled. Then we saw that there was a larger table two tables away and we wanted to sit there, especially since there was no reservation. Just as we wanted to sit down, the waiter (it could have been the owner) came with the drinks, we pointed out that we had moved because the other table was very unfavorable for a relaxed meal. We were spoken to extremely rudely, saying that wasn't possible, we were only allowed to sit at the first table. There would be other guests coming. I then pointed out again that the space was very inconvenient and that another large table had become available. The answer we got was that if we didn't like it, we could leave. So we left. I can't say anything about the food, we didn't get that far. The young, nice waitress who assigned us the table understood us, but also told us that she couldn't do anything herself, he was in charge. I should also point out that it is terribly loud there and conversation is not possible. The buffet looked very good, but the service is not good at all, which is a shame.

I'm just happy. Everyone is super nice. I can only recommend it to everyone. The food is really tasty. The employees often come to the table and ask if everything is good or if you need anything. So my conclusion is that I will go there again.
