Always happy, very child-friendly

Went there for lunch again after a very long time. The set menu costs €16.50. For that price, you have a free choice of all dishes and can take as much and as often as you like. Everything was freshly prepared. Dessert such as fruit, ice cream, cake, and a chocolate fountain were also available. The urinals in the men's restroom with built-in screens were remarkable. I hadn't seen that before. There are now also two mobile service robots that bring the drinks to the table. Very entertaining. There's also a soft-serve ice cream machine now. You can have as much ice cream as you like. I was there again at the beginning of 2026. The price hasn't changed. We'll gladly come again.

I love the food there. The waiters are always friendly, too. Everything is beautifully decorated and always spotlessly clean. The Robberta is simply fantastic. Even when it's busy, there's always plenty of food, and they refill your plate immediately without you having to ask. Children can move around freely, and in the summer, there's a small playground right by the window with a direct entrance. I've never had a single complaint there. P.S. Even the restrooms are clean! :) It's become my favorite restaurant. The prices are perfectly reasonable, and I almost forgot: I've never had such a delicious Coke! I don't know the secret, but we love going there.

The food was good. There was a lot of variety at the buffet. Unfortunately, I was surprised by the lack of information on whether or how spicy some of the braised dishes and the marinated shrimp were. I found things like kangaroo, zebra, shark, and frog legs unusual. While I didn't try the zebra meat, as I'm familiar with horse meat, I did try the others. After all, these animals had to die, so they should be eaten. The restaurant also advises trying more dishes rather than taking too much and then throwing away food you don't like. I was disappointed with the frog legs. They were lean, yes. It was pure muscle meat, after all! But the taste was similar to chicken.

One of the worst all-you-can-eat restaurants I've ever been to. The Mongolian grill was also disappointing – neither in terms of taste nor quality. I sincerely hope this isn't the best Chinese restaurant in the city, otherwise Magdeburg would be truly lacking in culinary options. On the positive side, the large parking lot, the spacious seating area, and the generally pleasant atmosphere are worth mentioning, even if it is showing its age. Overall, a disappointing experience.

Quantity over quality! We went to "Mr. Pan" twice today – the first and the last time. What was offered here for a hefty price (for the buffet) was quantity, not quality. The buffet was plentiful... but that was where the positives ended. The edges were so filthy with sauces, noodles, meat, and grease residue – it looked anything but appetizing. The food itself was far from average – it was very bad! The fried rice and fried noodles were cold! The meat wasn't just unappetizingly thick-cut, it was also extremely salty! The breading was so thick you could barely taste the meat. The roast duck was also a disaster: it was far too greasy. Apparently, this doesn't bother others much. When we got the bill, they didn't even ask if everything was alright. Why would they? We left, and 30 new guests arrived (it's Christmas Day, after all). So why bother trying? The interior was more like a large cafeteria. The noise level was almost unbearable. Even those robots that delivered food and drinks to specific tables were out of place today, constantly getting in the way of guests coming and going. In short: We ate our fill, but "Mr. Pan" will never see us again. Next time, we'd much rather eat à la carte at a small, well-maintained restaurant. It's much better quality. And the owner there actually cares about having satisfied, returning regulars. Never again "Mr. Pan!"

I have to admit, I was skeptical, but Mr. Pan lived up to every praise I had heard. The combination of classic dishes with a modern twist is incredible. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, with those little details that make all the difference.

We went there again yesterday after a long time, and I'm ALWAYS HAPPY when we go to Mr. Pan's. The food was good, as always. However, what really upset me—and this was incredibly rude—ruined the whole evening. My girlfriend had stomach surgery and politely asked the server, showing her ID, if there was any way to pay a little less (e.g., the child's price; she didn't even want it for free!), since she can't eat much due to the surgery. The waitress said no, they don't do that, and that she could order a regular meal from the menu and take the leftovers home, or she could eat three plates of shrimp, but then it wouldn't be fair to pay less! Sorry, but that's completely unacceptable! She didn't eat three plates of shrimp, nor any of the other dishes! She had ONE half-full plate and still had to pay the full buffet price! That's not what customer service is about, and next time we'll be looking for a different place where people and their needs are taken into account! That was really disappointing of you!

The restaurant is very clean and all the staff are very friendly. The buffet, priced at €16.50, offers a wide selection of hot dishes, salads, and desserts, as well as a chocolate fountain. The restrooms are also very clean. Ample free parking is available in front of the restaurant.

You're not allowed to try something if you put it on your plate you have to eat it regardless of whether you like it or not I didn't understand that we shouldn't waste or abuse it but at the same time we have to treat customers with respect something that doesn't exist with shift managers they make you pay double if it's left on the plate from a table with one or two people they don't throw away that much but at a large table it's normal

We had dinner at Mr. Pan's today. In short, everything was perfect. The food was excellent. I'd especially like to thank the exceptionally friendly service. Even though the dining room is quite large, the room dividers created a cozy atmosphere. I'd gladly come again.

The location is especially well-suited for larger groups or families. There's plenty for children to enjoy, even if the typical Chinese dishes aren't to their liking. And for those with a sweet tooth or who simply want a delicious dessert to finish their meal, there's a wide selection of sweet and fruity treats to choose from.

There were four of us for lunch on a Sunday. I had made a reservation, which was apparently unnecessary since they just seat people wherever there's space. The table we were assigned was in the walkway. After a quick inquiry, we were given a new one. The buffet food was delicious, and the selection was good, including some exotic dishes. However, if you're looking for a quiet meal, this isn't the place. Because of the buffet, everyone is constantly moving around. It didn't bother us, though, because we knew how it worked. We'll definitely be back!

Buffet lunch between 12 and 2 pm. Very large selection. Food fresh and delicious. Fried items nice and crispy. Desserts (ice cream, cake, fruit) all excellent. The cake buffet pieces were nice and small, so you had the chance to try everything.

Drinks are extra and WARNING: 1 glass of cola costs 5 euros.

We've been there twice. The buffet is extensive, and the freshly prepared grilled food is also good. Anyone with a taste for Asian food will find something here. The service is very good; sometimes the staff seems to be absent, which might be due to the size of the restaurant. A unique feature is the service robots that deliver drinks or freshly grilled food. I went there with my daughter twice for the buffet and twice for drinks... and paid over €60. After that shock, I'd rather go somewhere else. If that's the price for the same old selection every time... then I won't be going back.

A wide selection of delicious buffet dishes. The grill master can even choose and prepare their own food. Huge selection. Super tasty. Children are charged one euro per year of age for buffet food. Fair. Update: The pricing policy is unfavorable for families with children. It's changed. Even 5-year-olds now pay 18 euros for the buffet. They eat some pasta and a scoop of ice cream afterward. But you can probably fill the tables even without families with children. I don't think it's right. That's why the rating is going down.

I always loved eating there until yesterday when I ordered a pina colada as a drink and for it to be a cocktail, there was way too much alcohol in it. I said that I wouldn't pay for it because it was not drinkable at all and the waitress yelled at me and started arguing, so rude.

The cold buffet was very good. The hot buffet wasn't so good. I don't know if it was the time; at 8 p.m., we were in a good position to compete. Perhaps we were a bit spoiled by our pavilion in Erfurt. The selection is certainly more extensive. Otherwise, it was a nice atmosphere.

The food is really good for a busy buffet. The staff were very friendly. The atmosphere is much better during the week than on weekends, because it's simply too crowded and noisy.

In the beginning, when the restaurant was still relatively new, the food tasted better. I think everything tastes kind of the same. It's a shame. We went there spontaneously one evening, and a lot of things were already sold out, like sushi, and they weren't replenishing them. They shouldn't have charged the full buffet price. This is the second time we've been disappointed. We won't be going back for a while.

The food was tasty, but most of it wasn't my cup of tea (I'm going there for the first time), and the service wasn't great. We were yelled at for stealing food, which we didn't, and I wish there was more choice. Unfortunately, it was also very expensive. You pay almost €30 for one person, which I think is a bit excessive. Yes, you can serve yourself, but it didn't fill my stomach, and I don't want to sit there for three hours shoving food into my mouth. At a Croatian restaurant, I get a dish that I know "I like it, it fills me up," and I don't get rude comments.

My daughter was allowed to choose and chose Mr. Pan because of the buffet. A large selection, fresh, and clean. Nothing was left to be desired. For my girlfriend and me, it was an experience to visit the Asian restaurant "Mr. Pan." That Sunday, they offered "all you can eat" for €26 per person. The selection was plentiful and varied, ranging from Asian dishes like sushi, chicken, mussels, prawns, shrimp, rice, and fried noodles to African dishes like kangaroo and zebra meat. You could place all of this on several plates and then hand it over to the chef at the live grill with your table number. And then he came, Mr. PAN" came to our table and said, "Your order is here!" What surprised us a bit, though, was why a male robot speaks with a female voice? 🤔 The food was very tasty, especially the vegetables, the chicken, the starter soup, the various fruits, and the ice cream. We had quite a bit of trouble with the kangaroo and the zebra, however. Unfortunately, both meats were very tough and difficult to chew... We enjoyed the tender chicken with the colorful braised vegetables all the more. Our young, extremely friendly, nimble, and cheerful female waitress was also commendable. Because we were sitting at Mr. Pan's for several hours over lunch, and it was a rather warm day, we began to sweat profusely while eating in one of the most hidden corners of the restaurant. Since the restaurant wasn't air-conditioned, the waitress gave us both women a corn fan. After almost four hours, we left very full and very satisfied. Mr. Pan. We'll definitely come back again, even though we friends live in Thuringia and Lower Saxony.

Even though it was quite busy, the wait at the buffet wasn't very long, and there was almost everything you'd imagine in Asian cuisine. There's a (mini) playground for the kids—it could be a bit bigger. However, for a family, it's also quite expensive (almost €20 per person on average).

The reception was rather lackluster and seemed "annoyed." Generally, they were quite unfriendly. The food was, unfortunately, mostly not good at all. The sweet and sour "sauce" was more like a soup (thin as water), the sushi tasted very "mushy" (they most likely used regular rice and definitely not sushi rice), and the wasabi sauce was also very runny, as if it had been diluted with water. The food was, unfortunately, not convincing. When paying (in cash), no change was given; it was simply considered a tip (I found this very cheeky, since they always give the change first). We will definitely not eat at this restaurant again.

Mass processing and a cafeteria feel. If you've known nothing else, it's probably delicious. But the sushi rice is completely overcooked, and lukewarm, it's also been pressed by a machine. All the sauces are completely slimy and tough. :( All the dishes are too salty. What the Peking soup has to do with the original remains a mystery to us. Thankfully, we only tried it while driving through. Absolutely not recommended. The only thing was the extremely friendly and fast service. Unfortunately, that doesn't make up for the abysmal food quality. The robot server is far too loud; in a two-hour visit, it blared "Happy Birthday" five times from a tape at a volume that Rammastein couldn't have managed better.
