I have to honestly say, Mr. Cherng is my favorite place for sushi and other dishes. It's always fresh, always good, and always delicious! I've always been there with my mother and sister, who also speak highly of Mr. Cherng. Whenever we go to Hamburg together, sushi is on their to-do list. Enjoy!

We were there four days in a row (at lunch) because it was simply delicious. The selection was huge and the buffet was clean and tidy. Food was always replenished quickly. The staff (whether the manager or the waiter) at the entrance were extremely rude and disrespectful. When I politely asked for a complaint book, I was insulted and practically sent away. The food at Mr. Cherng Restaurant completely impressed me. The diverse and fresh sushi selection, which was absolutely delicious, deserves special mention. The restaurant was very busy, which created a lively and at times noisy atmosphere – but for me, that's a sign that the visit is worthwhile and that the restaurant is rightly popular. I regularly visit all-you-can-eat Asian or Mongolian restaurants, and this one is definitely among the best in that category. The dinner buffet costs €25 per person – certainly not a bargain, but given the quality and selection, it's absolutely justified if you come with a good appetite. I can recommend this restaurant with a clear conscience.

She seemed very angry when she told us we had to pay extra for leftovers. I said ok. They're kids.. can't really do so much about it. Just tell us in a nice way. Don't wanna come back.

We had a delicious visit there today with excellent service. Everything is constantly being restocked fresh, the fruit and vegetables are crisp and delicious, there are countless variations of sushi, ice cream, baked banana... Drinks are reasonably priced and equally delicious. Thank you "Mr. Cherng" for the great day with you. You're all in a good mood and super friendly – you don't get that everywhere!

Although the all-you-can-eat lunch buffet now costs €14.00 (€6.90 when it opened), it's still well worth a visit. However, you should arrive early to avoid waiting for a table and the lines at the buffet. I deducted one star because I could barely hear myself during an evening visit, the acoustics are so poor when the place is full. However, some partition walls have since been installed in the dining room, which may solve this problem.

The fish was very average and the rice very dry. The fried foods were way too greasy and almost entirely made of fried batter (not enough toppings). Very little choice. The barbecue stand was mediocre. The meat was dry and the sauce (curry) was too salty and in too large a quantity. As for the desserts, they are of poor quality and with a very limited selection. The best products were unfortunately those that were not made by the restaurant, namely the fruits. For lunch (14€) it is acceptable, but dinner (25€) is not worth it at all. The value for money is not there at all.

I love the crispy duck at this place. Sometimes it's on the buffet, but if it's not, I order it à la carte. All the servers are very friendly, and no matter how busy it is, they'll find a second one for you. It gets pretty busy, and sometimes there's a line, but the place is large, so it's always busy. The food is fresh, it's always busy, and although the buffet seems small, it's sufficient. The lunchtime buffet from Monday to Friday is 15 euros (it also includes ice cream here), and the weekend buffet is 25 euros (excluding drinks). They also have à la carte dishes at a lower price at lunchtime if you don't want a buffet. There's a surcharge if you leave food at El Plato, so people don't waste food. The place is very central, two blocks from Europa Passage, one block from the church, right in the center. You pay at the register. I find it quite convenient if you want to eat very well downtown. Highly recommended.

Alternatives at other locations proved to be more affordable and of higher quality, with much better parking. Furthermore, the staff's performance was unsatisfactory. We have eaten the buffet here several times on Saturday evenings. There is a huge selection of fresh vegetables, meat and fish as well as ready-made dishes, sushi, fruit and dessert. The grill is excellent. You never have to wait long. The service is very friendly and quick. We'd love to come back.

Super tasty sushi, dim sun and co, fresh ingredients that are freshly prepared, similar to the Mongolian buffet. But here from several chefs in the wok! Plus delicious sauces of your choice, or sometimes with recommendations from the friendly, competent staff! The service was quick and attentive, despite being busy. I can't say anything about the à la card dishes, we all had the buffet. Compared to some Mongolian restaurants, there are slightly fewer fresh ingredients. The only thing that bothered me was the noodles. I would have liked unseasoned "naked" noodles with the fresh ingredients. There is also a mini point for the fact that there are no peeled shrimps. Covering the fried shrimp with sauce is annoying. But I will definitely come back. By the way, I found the Dim Sun crabs to be the tastiest.

But there is a large selection of sushi which is quickly refilled. The staff is friendly and the seating options are very large and varied. I think groups can sit well here. In the evening the buffet costs €25 and at lunchtime it is cheaper.

Visiting this place often and enjoying it every time. Still didn’t try Vormittags “all you can eat”, but the evening one is great (can be sometimes too loud because it’s crowded). You have a nice sushi selection, warm/cold salty snacks, salads and deserts. What’s more, you can put on your own vegetables/meat/fish on the plate, choose the sause and they will fry it for you. Really loved it. Vegan/vegetarian variations of food included 👍

The thing that bothers me is the cup of water for the ice cream scoop. The water could be changed more often. The freshly prepared food is delicious. Personally, however, I find the sauces to be very salty and oily.

Cozy restaurant with delicious food. I was there twice for lunch for the all-you-can-eat buffet and was very satisfied. There are also many non-meat dishes and a large selection of sushi. However, I wish the dishes were labeled better so that you know exactly what is in them. Unfortunately, it was only on my second visit that I discovered that the soy sauce at the table contained alcohol. It would be nice if there was an alcohol-free version, because sushi only tastes half as good without soy sauce. Unless that changes, I will unfortunately no longer be able to visit Mr. Cherng.

The noodles taste really good, but the shop is committing tax evasion. The noodles are all delicious. BUT!!! Card payments are possible, fairy tales are told!

We visited this restaurant on a Wednesday evening and found a seat relatively quickly. The employees tried very hard, except for one, the rest were rather unfriendly. We received the drinks relatively quickly. After an initial misunderstanding, we then realized that there was an all-you-can-eat buffet. The mistake was ours, we overlooked it and were not informed that this existed, as you could also order food via the menu. The buffet was large, there was enough choice between sushi, finger food and desserts. Besides, it tasted very good. The price-performance ratio was very good, you will definitely be full.

Good all you can eat restaurant in the city center. There is sushi, Chinese dishes and fried things, as well as dessert. The selection is not that big but there are dishes with chicken, fish, beef and vegetarian. Price performance is okay. You can do it. Very crowded at lunchtime and since there is only a small selection, you should expect to wait in line. The interior is very large and you can also go here with a large group. Service very attentive and friendly. Empty plates are cleared away immediately so that the table always looks clean. Quality is completely okay for the price. I would go here again.

Wir waren über ein Wochenende in Hamburg und sind spontan dort essen gegangen. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen, es wurde uns die Wahl gelassen all you can eat Buffet auszuwählen , also erst anschauen und dann entscheiden. Oder aus der Karte zu bestellen . Wir haben uns trotz der kleinen Auswahl der fertigen Gerichte fürs Buffet entschieden , da man sich auch selbst zusammen gestelltes Fleisch und Gemüse frisch zubereiten lassen konnte. Essen war super lecker, Service top und Mega freundlich. Wir können es nur Empfehlen.

The food is somehow good, the side dish was really good, but the man in the front that recieved the raw food to be cooked by the Chef.. you need to train that one person how to politely interact with customers.. on the same day, he was one who taking our additional drink order and yes, he need to fix his attitude..
