Wir waren auf einer Durchreise in Wetzlar und haben die Altstadt erkundet und haben diese echt gute Location entdeckt. Sehr gute Auswahl, tolle Limonaden und leckeres Essen.

Klein aber fein. Der Burger war total lecker, die Beilagen auch. Reservierung ist ein muss, sonst kann es passieren das man hungrig wieder gehen muss

Eigentlich dürfte ich hier nicht die Wahrheit schreiben! Wieso...? Dann bekomme ich in den nächsten Wochen keinen freien Tisch mehr. Okay, die Wahrheit!!! Für mich, der TOP Burgerladen Lahn/Dill! Besten Burger ever! Beste Musik im Restaurant ever. Service...Top...wie alles dort!

Die Burger und Fritten waren super lecker. Sie haben auch sehr viele vegetarische Burger und drei verschiedene vegetarische Pattys.

Durchschnittlich. Musste relativ lange warten auf eine kleinen Burger und gute Onion Rings. Ich muss hier nicht mehr hin.

Beste Burger im Umkreis! Ich war total begeistert. Essen war sehr schnell fertig, alles war frisch! Burger, Zwiebelringe, Pommes, Soßen… alles richtig lecker. Dazu noch eine super nette Bedienung und schönes Ambiente! Sehr zu empfehlen!

Von Außen unscheinbar und schlecht beleuchtet. Man denkt der Burgerladen wäre geschlossen obwohl dem nicht so ist. Innen hübsch dekoriert mit ein paar unschönen Ecken hinter der Bar und vor der Küche. Service gibt es nicht man bestellt online oder direkt an der Theke. Ich war im April da bei 10Grad Außentemperatur. Der Innenraum war so unangenehm kalt, das hat den ganzen Aufenthalt negativ beeinflusst daher gebe ich nur 3Sterne. Aber der Burger hat 5Sterne verdient. Sehr gute Fleisch Qualität, leckere Brioch Buns, saftiges großes Patty, schmackhafte Soßen und leckere Wedges. An warmen Tagen werde ich sehr gerne wieder Gast sein.

Essen schmeckt gut, bedienung ist sehr freundlich und es dauert garnicht so lange bis das Essen fertig ist.

Einer der besten Burgerläden überhaupt. Klein, aber mit großer Wirkung. Die Burger sind sensationell lecker, die Süßkartoffelpommes einfach mega. Das Publikum ist angenehm gemischt, ebenso wie die Musik – und wann hört man schon mal die Sex Pistols in einem Restaurant? Absolut verdient: 5 Sterne für alles. 🍔⭐

Schöner Burgerladen im amerikanischen Stil mit den entsprechenden Gerichten. Bei den Burgern gibt es eine gesunde Variation, dass jeder auf seinen Geschmack kommen sollte und auch das Finger Food ist Klasse. Sehr zu empfehlen sind hier auch die Soßen! Mitarbeiter sind immer sehr freundlich und locker.

Essen war super, der Service war allerdings etwas wirr. Wir (2 Personen) wollten uns in eine Ecke mit zwei Stühlen am Tisch setzen wurden aber gebeten uns ans Fenster zu setzen (3 Plätze). Kurz darauf mussten wir uns umsetzen weil eine Dreiergruppe kam. Fand ich etwas blöd. Ambiente auch ganz schön, ist allerdings sehr klein.

Für mich einer der leckersten Burger, die ich jemals gegessen habe. Die Zutaten sind frisch, das Fleisch schön saftig und der Preis für 9€ für einen Classic Cheeseburger ist nicht zu toppen für die Qualität des Essens. Obwohl der Gastraum sehr klein ist und wir nicht reserviert hatten, wurde uns ein Platz zugewiesen. Das Personal ist super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ein absoluter Geheimtipp würde ich sagen.

Unfortunately, I have to change my review. About six months ago, around May 2025, five of us went to Mr. B. Four of us, including myself, suffered food poisoning from one of our visits, leaving us completely bedridden for two days. Unfortunately, they didn't respond to our messages via Instagram, and our phone calls went unanswered, effectively ignoring the problem. We all regret not having taken stool samples and submitted them to the health department. Sadly, that's the end of our relationship with Mr. B., and we no longer recommend it.

Great burgers! Well made, big enough and properly built. The place itself is quite small inside, but has a very nice Americana style atmosphere (grunge music was a nice touch). The fries are pretty standard, but the dips are amazing.

Amazing quality. The cheese bacon wedges are especially the best so far.

The meat was good, but the burger overall wasn't that great. Mainly because of the rather annoying bun, which resembled more of a sweet biscuit. It also took about 40 minutes for the food to be served.

The first time you wish you'd ordered from McDoof... We've been enjoying eating here or ordering takeaway for years - they usually have by far the best burgers in the area. To be fair: I rated Mr. B's 5 stars on my personal account. I have no idea who was playing kitchen clown this Sunday, August 17th, around 3:20 PM, but the meat on both burgers we ordered wasn't medium as ordered, nor was it well done, but simply burnt and so overly peppered that neither burger was enjoyable. It pains me to write that we would have been much better off with a measly Royal TS today - what's the point!? If you let someone else run the kitchen for you, maybe you should train them better in the future or be a bit more sensitive with your selection. The food served today was a world away from the delicious and juicy burgers we've always enjoyed here, and it sadly ended up in the trash. The fries and corn dog were tasty, but not really enough to fill us up. If we'd eaten in, I would have politely said something – in that case, we unfortunately didn't realize the dilemma until we got home, as we ordered everything to go, as mentioned at the beginning. Addition 30 minutes after submitting the review: In terms of professional behavior, I seem to have caught a real pro here. You've already read the entire text and are able to understand it!? I'll go out on a limb and say that giving a one-star rating to a company you've never had personal contact with is more unprofessional than I can possibly put into words here. You weren't even there, and instead of apologizing for the terrible quality today, you reacted like a little kid and left a textless review? Own goal 😀🙋‍♂️

Small and nice. The burgers taste good. Great fries. Highly recommended. But something that really needs to be done is cleaning the toilet daily. That's definitely neglected here! The toilet looked like it hadn't seen any cleaning products in weeks. It looked disgusting.

A small shop with friendly, attentive, and very helpful staff. We were seated immediately, even without a reservation. The food was incredibly delicious!

A digital menu, service was very fast and friendly, and the veggie burgers and fries were the best. The fries are a must-have with every order. Every burger lover should try this place.

The burgers are super delicious, though not the cheapest. The place is quite small, and there are often customers standing around, waiting for their takeaway food. Unfortunately, they're trying to enforce the American tipping culture. I don't want to be asked if I want to give exorbitant tips. Orders are placed via app, and then the food is brought to you; there's no real "waiter service," and demanding a tip when paying by card for takeaway is truly absurd. In short: Great food, quite cramped, uncomfortable when paying.

Mr. B's is definitely an insider tip in Wetzlar! The small dining room creates a cozy atmosphere, but those who prefer to sit outside can enjoy the relaxed outdoor dining near the old Lahn bridge - perfect for a beautiful day. Orders are simply placed via smartphone or at the counter, which makes the whole thing modern and uncomplicated. The burgers are simply sensational – juicy, well seasoned and made with fresh ingredients. The side dishes are also a dream! If you are looking for a delicious, quick snack or an extensive lunch, you will definitely find it here. The only downside is that the dining room is really small, but the service is good. Absolutely recommended!

Mr. B's delivers – and it delivers! The burgers are juicy, cooked to perfection (medium, as they should be), and the fries and chicken strips are equally impressive. The taste is truly top-notch; you can tell they've put a lot of attention to detail into the place. The ambiance has a strong American diner vibe – coolly done, but the place itself is a bit small, which can make it feel a bit cramped at peak times. The bottom line: If you're in the mood for really good burgers, this is the place to be. I'll definitely be back!

We have gone to this burger restaurant a few times. They have amusing decor inside the restaurant. Service is top. They also have a Halloween themed burger. If you like root beer, they carry an American brand. They also have ranch dressing that is to die for. This place is by far one of the better burger restaurants that I have been to in Germany.

A small but particularly cool shop with great burgers. I love the Mango Habanero Burger here. Every time I'm there and take the first bite, I get a grin on my face. The boss (Ben) is always friendly and a really cool guy. Highly recommended

Unfortunately, I didn't have a good experience at Mr.B's. I ate there on March 31st and paid €80 for two burgers The boss wanted to make sure I got my money back, but since then he can no longer be reached

Unfortunately it's not quite as convincing as it used to be. Everything was fresh, but the sauce on the Classic Burger was far too dominant - you could hardly taste the other ingredients. In addition, the front door was constantly open, which made eating in the cold uncomfortable. I think a euro extra charge for a few jalapeños is a bit excessive. To highlight positively: The fries and the corn dog were delicious.

I went to Mr B's for the first time today and I absolutely love it! The burgers are incredibly juicy, grilled to perfection and topped with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The homemade sauces give the whole thing the finishing touch. The side dishes also impressed me – crispy fries, delicious sweet potato fries and really good dips. The atmosphere is modern and inviting, and the staff was super friendly and attentive. Definitely not my last visit - if you like really good burgers, you should definitely stop by here!

Updated recession: There's something different about the burgers or the sauce than before. I don't think it's good. Unfortunately, I was already standing in front of closed doors here... I think a restaurant should be open at least as soon as it says so. Otherwise a good burger place that also costs well. Nevertheless, you can get away with a good meal for less than €20. I particularly like the Halloween burger. I've missed the owner lately... Most of the employees don't convey the family American feeling at all and you tend to just get brushed off. Recession of 2020: Really good burger restaurant. It's stupid that you have to pay extra for side sauce. A menu costs around €16. Burger tastes really good. Drink an American iced tea with it.

We were here at 5pm. The shop was closed. Went for a 10 minute walk and came back. lights out again and no one there. I went in and called for someone twice. Nobody there. Lights off. No music. Why do they say opening hours are 5 p.m. when no one is there at quarter past?

I went there spontaneously today to try it out. I think the atmosphere is small and cool. The blonde waitress was very nice and helped me a lot with the choice of dip. The wait for the food felt like 10 minutes. I think it's okay. Good things take time. I had a bacon cheeseburger and fries with hot sauce. The fries were delicious, crispy, well seasoned and not greasy. Rating very good. The burger was meaty, juicy, and the beef was great. The bacon was nice and crispy, the vegetables were crunchy and fresh and the sauce was tasty but not over the top. I thought the burger buns were really great! All in all, a clean and harmonious thing. I only found the cheese a bit bland and the whole thing was a bit too greasy for me. I had actually expected that the thing would be heavy on my stomach, but actually, despite the fact that it was such a greasy affair and I have a sensitive stomach, it worked well for me, it also lasts well and you feel pleasantly full and don't overeat. As far as the portion goes, it's just right. The hot sauce with the fries went perfectly and was also really well tolerated despite my stomach problem. In terms of food, I would give you 4.5 stars here and I absolutely deserve it. To say: This is a really great burger, I'm missing that certain something here. You use good ingredients and everything is done properly but I think there is something more that can be done. When I think about another burger shop in Wetzlar, the girls and boys are a bit more sophisticated, even if I pay 2 to 3 euros more. But as I said: That's my personal opinion. I always think it's a shame when you don't fully utilize your potential. You don't have to do something as nonsense as Gut Burgerlich, but I think that with just a little more ingenuity you could do even better. The basics are all there :) Best regards Jan

Best Burger in Town! Try the Mac’n’cheese bites too.

On Thursday January 23rd - 6:15 p.m. we ordered burgers from Mr. B's with work colleagues. I ordered a veggie burger and was very disappointed. There were two pieces of bacon in my veggie burger! This is beyond unprofessional and not possible at all. For vegetarians, such a mix-up is absolutely unacceptable. A kitchen that cannot distinguish between meat and vegetarian options should urgently rethink its workflow. Quality and attention definitely look different. My work colleagues can attest to the fact that there were pieces of bacon in my vegetarian burger.

Great burger experience with a side of discussion of quantum physics. The caramelized onion burger with the fries and the sauce of the house were exquisite, but the atmosphere was even better. Couldn’t recommend it more! 100/10 recommend.

I always forget to take a photo of my burger! Why? The burgers, fries and dressing are so incredibly delicious that I can't leave them in front of me for more than 5 seconds. Order via app or menu in the restaurant. If you like, you can also order online and pick it up at home. The quality and taste is outstanding and comes close to a “real” US burger. No wonder given the owner! The only downside (especially in winter): Because there are few seats, make sure you reserve. Parking is just a few minutes' walk away on the Lahn Island. Conclusion: you have to eat it!

I've enjoyed eating with you for years. Still the best burgers and side dishes for me. Unfortunately the selection of drinks has diminished over the years. The biggest negative point, however, is the mood of the service. This is slowly becoming a reason not to go there anymore.

We found Mr B’s to be a warm and pleasant place for lunch. We had the classic cheeseburger and fries and it was delicious. His burger was a work of art, his fry sauce was great, and the American Christmas music added to the ambience. Ben and his wife are genuinely nice people and the food was delicious. We will be back!

Authentic US burger shop in the heart of Wetzlar's old town. The interior design is designed with great attention to detail and you feel like you are in America. Especially when Ben is in the store. The burgers are awesome. I travel around a lot for work, but I've never had such delicious burgers anywhere. The meat, the spices, the bun, the sauce...just an explosion of flavor. My friend is a vegetarian and she too is enthusiastic about the vegetarian citizens. There's even a vegan burger. I've already tried it. Absolutely delicious.

Lovely burger restaurant and a great dining experience!

The chicken burger tasted good, but the piece of chicken was very small, especially in relation to the burger bun. My friend really liked the regular (beef) burger. The price-performance ratio is not that good. Of course, all the burger shops here have increased in recent years, with the exception of the golden seagull (although of course they don't deliver the quality of B's), but I've recently had more on my plate at other (small) restaurants or chains. I actually didn't get full from one menu (burger + fries), but I eat like a sparrow.

Always my pleasure! What I like about Mr. B's is the manageable, and therefore so good, menu. All the dishes seem typically American, as does the decor, and the food is just damn delicious. The prices are perfectly reasonable for today's times and ordering via the online menu works perfectly.

The burgers tasted good. To order, however, you had to go to the restaurant's website. That wouldn't be a bad thing, but the system didn't work well and you had to provide personal information. There was also no cutlery.

The burgers were very tasty. Chains have a very, very difficult time keeping up with that. The sweet potato fries were one of the best for me. The burgers had a good, defined taste. Overall, I would have liked it if the burgers had been a little bit bigger for the price. I wouldn't get enough of sweet potato fries and burgers, which I actually find unusual in community restaurants. Still a high rating and a “I’ll be back”.

Young and dynamic is a good concept that you don't see often in Germany. Unfortunately the staff is very rude and arrogant. If the QR code doesn't work, you get flippant, arrogant answers. Older people in particular who would like a burger are disappointed and treated stupidly. The shop is a hipster shop through and through, but unfortunately neither polite nor respectful. . The burgers are very good ! But the previous one ruins it.
