Mr and Mrs Humus - Falafel, Hummus , Shakshuka und mehr in Bonn

Super cute atmosphere despite being next to a big street, especially the fairy lights are cozy outside! The food was very fast and good, especially the falafel, the hummus and the pita bread!! The fava beans lacked a bit of flavor... and for my understanding a plate with falafel, a bit of aubergine and some fava beans for 16 euros is quite expensive... but we really enjoyed it! The food came super fast and the service was very nice.

Extremely delicious dishes, fast service.

We were there for the first time and ordered two falafel and hummus dishes (including pita bread). Simply unbelievably delicious! It was so tasty, we even forgot to take pictures of our food 😅 The falafel is nice and crispy on the outside and piping hot (the best I've ever had!), while the inside is moist, warm, and well-seasoned! The hummus was very creamy, well-seasoned, and without any bitterness (which you usually get). The tabbouleh tasted very refreshing. The eggplant strips with tahini dressing made me absolutely addicted 😄 The oven-warm pita bread went wonderfully with it – although we couldn't finish it, so we had to pack it. The portion itself didn't look too huge, but we ended up eating more than we needed. The homemade teas really taste "homemade" and weren't too sweet. The service was very friendly and not intrusive. The order was easy and quick to take. The food arrived promptly. The parking situation is rather poor (but that's not Mr. and Mrs. Hummus's fault). During the week, you can find a parking space nearby relatively quickly – one hour of parking costs €4 for the parking ticket. The public order office is often in the area (we've already seen a few cars parked with tickets). We'd love to come back! 😊

A very student-friendly atmosphere. The prices are quite reasonable, but they're not justified. The bowls aren't even a quarter full. It was a pre-baked loaf that had simply been warmed up. Some of the menu items were authentic, but others contained spices that didn't belong in these dishes... Overall, not recommended.

The restaurant is very cozy, and the service is incredibly friendly! The food was delicious (the pita bread and falafel were especially delicious!) A personal plus for me was the free tap water on the menu and period products in the restroom—that's what hospitality feels like <3

A true potpourri of deliciousness! The four of us ate at Mr and Mrs Humus yesterday – and everyone loved it. The dishes were fresh, exquisitely seasoned, and prepared with love. We were particularly impressed by the hummus and flatbread. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is friendly and attentive. We were also delighted: Our dog was warmly welcomed and felt just as comfortable as we did. A real highlight in Bonn for anyone who appreciates good vegetarian food – we'll definitely be back!

I had the shakshuka, which I found okay but nothing special. The service was good, but the atmosphere was unfortunately very uncomfortable and noisy, so we didn't stay long (dinner).

Super friendly team, amazing food, and the patio in the courtyard is just chill. My favorite: - Hamshuka with hummus - Cauliflower - Baba ghanoush with falavel - it's topped with a curry tahini mix - it's amazing. A little tip for the kitchen: add a little date syrup, and the dish will be amazing!

My favorite place to eat hummus. I come regularly, even though it's over 60 km away. It's always delicious, beautifully presented, everyone is friendly, and the atmosphere is very cozy. A visit there is like a few hours of vacation in the South.

Fantastically delicious food. Cosy terrace with lots of colour. Very friendly service. A mistake in the kitchen was immediately corrected to our advantage: we had asked for 3 falafel balls, but got 9 and when we noticed that, we were allowed to eat them without paying extra.🙏 But it was so delicious and so tiptop in every way, that we happily paid for all the balls.👍 Of course we asked for the leftovers to take home and that was no problem at all. More of this deliciousness tomorrow.😍😋 Absolute recommendation!!

We love the place. In my opinion, it's the best falafel I've ever eaten anywhere. The hummus and Mrs. Labneh are just as unbeatable. The atmosphere isn't exactly spectacular, but eating there is worth it, especially for the taste.

We were there winter time, when it was snowing outside. We were sitting at the side room. We were freezing there! The food to be improved, we love israeli food, we know well Humus and Shakshuka, but it was not like we know it. The Humus served cold (shouldn't served cold in a Humus restaurant), the shakshuka was not like what we know, the tomatoes were cut roughly it was very spicy. The kids couldn't eat anything there. The pita bread were good and served warm

After visiting Mr and Mrs Humus a few times and always finding it very good, I ordered catering there for my birthday party. Communication with the team was super nice and uncomplicated, and the price-performance ratio was also good. The food came in beautiful oriental bowls, everything was beautifully presented and - most importantly - very, very tasty! My guests praised the food very much and everything was gone within a very short time :)

I had ordered food for six adults and two small children online from catering for Easter Sunday. Remarkably professional and friendly contact in advance. The recommendation was (contrary to my order) to take a little less, as a little less mezze would probably be enough, which of course goes against the financial interest of a business. The food was ready on time for the agreed date and was also packed directly into boxes for transport so that everything could be eaten warm 20 minutes later in the Siebengebirge (!). The quantity was perfectly calculated (minimal excess as a snack on Easter Monday - I would give a rubber point for that alone), everything was super delicious and, as the icing on the cake, all the dishes were served in very beautiful bowls. We wanted to eat meat-free and low-stress food for Easter and it won't be the last time. Absolute recommendation.

Superb service and cosy atmosphere. The ShakShuka was the best dish. Came with a quite large group of people and they did brilliantly in accommodating us all. Fully recommend this place even if you haven’t tried Lebanese food before. Thank you!!

Very tasty vegetarian food, and quite inexpensive too. Vegetarian hummus and falafel dishes are mainly prepared here. Water is now even free! The location is also not bad with the 61 or the bus and you can easily get to the city center and the main train station

A restaurant that I do not recommend, after a reservation and a 30 minute trip they told us that the kitchen is closed!!!

We didn't like anything except falafel. Portions were good. The wine was so bad it looked like it had been diluted with water. The staff were sweet and caring.

The food was great, especially the hummus and babaganoush. We ordered the selection of dishes for three people and it was more than enough, we were very full. The service was friendly and quick. The place it's cozy but it's quite small and it gets really full so it was a bit difficult to get the attention of the waiter at peak time. I recommend to reserve a table.

Mr. & Mrs. Hummus ist ein helles, liebevoll eingerichtetes Restaurant mit bunten Möbeln und einer Außenterrasse. Die Wanddeko ist originell (Film - und TV-Szenen und Darsteller in unterschiedlichen Bilderrahmen, das reicht von Bud Spencer & Terence Hill bis zu Muppets und Miss Marple, Monty Python und Lauel & Hardy). Wir wurden von sehr freundlichen Mitarbeiter*innen begrüßt und bedient. Die Speisekarte ist umfangreich, ebenso die Getränkeauswahl. Wir hatten Hummus mit gebratenen Auberginen bzw. mit Hackfleisch, beides sehr lecker, dazu gab es fluffiges Fladenbrot, und das absolute Highlight waren die Falafel. Von außen kross und innen schön locker, und der Geschmack war wunderbar. Wir waren uns einig, dass wir selten bessere gegessen haben. Wenn wir nicht so weit weg wohnen würden, wäre das unser neues Lieblingsrestaurant. Aber wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen, wenn es sich einrichten lässt.

Been here several times. No matter whether it's a quick lunch break or dinner for two. If you get one of the highly sought-after seats, you will always be served calmly and politely, but you will also have to take your time when there is more going on. Always convincing in terms of quality. Today, sitting at the counter, I experienced how the team deals with stress during the nearby flea market in the old town and I have to say, hats off! Thank you and I look forward to being back soon 😄

We came in spontaneously, everything was actually fully booked. But we were allowed to use a table that was still free for an hour. Despite the stress, we were treated kindly and had delicious food. Everything fresh, incredibly fluffy pita bread, tasty hummus! 10/10. About the ambience: Nice mix between colorful and cozy :) (We ordered the mezze for two and it would definitely have fed 3 people)

I recently went to Mr & Mrs Humus and was completely impressed. The 3 falafel balls were an absolute dream - crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside and full of flavor. I haven't eaten such good falafel in a long time! The Baba Ghanush Classic was also excellent. The sesame paste was creamy and aromatic, simply delicious. The combination of falafel and baba ghanush was perfect and left me more than full. The service was friendly and attentive, the atmosphere pleasant and inviting. I would highly recommend Mr & Mrs Humus to anyone looking for authentic and delicious oriental cuisine. I'll definitely be back!

Reasonably priced, ordering quickly via app. The food was very appetizing but sometimes not seasoned enough; the platter for two people would have been missing a dip or something. The lentil soup was very tasty, as was the bread! I would come again, a recommendation for vegans!

Here I don't rate the food and the service but rather the store itself. When I stood in front of it I didn't want to go in, but I found it horrible, narrow, stuffy and smelly. It's run down and a place like that can't call itself a restaurant. The owner should look for another location if the food is to be as delicious. When I saw it, I didn't want to eat there anymore.

It's just delicious and everyone is so friendly. Gladly again and highly recommended.

Very tasty food. Also highly recommended for non-vegetarians. What I like best is the option to get a small portion of almost all dishes so that you can try everything. The best were the falafel (the best I've had so far). Unfortunately it was relatively loud and a bit narrow.

As a meat lover, I wanted to give the restaurant, which is known for its many vegetarian / vegan dishes, a chance and try it out because of the many good reviews. It was definitely a slightly different experience, but I only liked a few things in terms of taste. The service was really friendly. The beautiful plates and bowls, the lemonades and also the falafels remain positive in my memory. Next time I visit I will try the Shakshuka and report back by updating the rating

Mr. and Mrs. Hummus in Bonn absolutely amazed me with their delicious falafels and irresistible hummus! The falafel was perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside and deliciously juicy on the inside. Every bite was a taste experience. The hummus was simply heavenly. Creamy, full-bodied and refined with the right spices, it tasted irresistible. The homemade pitas served on the side were fresh and fluffy, just as they should be. Unfortunately, the toilets were not very inviting and should be renovated and kept clean! Overall, my visit to Mr. and Mrs. Hummus in Bonn was a culinary experience that I can recommend to everyone.

I celebrated my birthday there with several people. The food is delicious and fresh. Even if the dishes are quite similar in taste. Unfortunately we were very cold. It was around zero degrees outside. Apparently the restaurant just doesn't get warm, we have our scarves and jackets untied. That was uncomfortable. And the service was nice, but inattentive and unfortunately only came when asked.

Warm favorite restaurant. Discovered by chance, my evening place of well-being during my week in Bonn. Delicious food, super friendly crew and a lovingly decorated shop. For me, Mr. & Mrs. Humus is THE address in Bonn for oriental food. We were always served quickly and didn't have to wait long for our food. The dishes are not only presented in a visually appealing way, but are also more than delicious. The falafel balls are nice and crispy, the warm pita bread is delicious. Of course, hummus should not be missing and vegan Shakshuka rounds off the flavor options. In summer it is more relaxed in terms of space thanks to the nice inner courtyard, but in winter it can be quite tight and a bit noisy inside. Whenever we are in Bonn, we try to reserve a table there. Places are rare, so it's best to reserve well in advance.

I regularly eat at Mr and Mrs Hummus as they serve vegan and vegetarian food that is very tasteful and prepared with love. The best falafel I know is available here and the quality remains consistently very good over time. The service is also very good. You are served promptly and don't have to wait too long for your food. In my opinion, the price-performance ratio is absolutely appropriate. The ambience is simple yet cozy and lovingly furnished with pictures of famous actors of the time on the wall.

Trotz der Lage an einer viel befahrenen Straße, schafft das Lokal gemütlich aufzutreten, was an sich bereits eine Leistung ist. Der Service war etwas hektisch, im großen und ganzen aber freundlich und aufmerksam. Ich hatte eine Mezze-Platte. Mir war sie etwas Dip-lastig, aber hey; der Name mr and mrs humus kommt ja auch nicht aus dem nichts ;). Qualitativ war ich durchaus überzeugt, einzig das Baba ganoush fiel für mich ab. Es schmeckte fast ausschließlich nach tahini. Ich komme gerne wieder!

Despite its location on a busy street, the place manages to appear cozy, which is an achievement in itself. The service was a bit hectic, but overall friendly and attentive. I had a mezze platter. I found it a bit dip-heavy, but hey; The name mr and mrs humus didn't come out of nowhere ;). I was quite impressed with the quality, only the Baba ganoush stood out for me. It tasted almost exclusively like tahini. I'd love to come back!

In October I attended a seminar in Bonn and discovered this shop on Instagram. We ate there, among other things, hummus with champions and Fallafel. The Fallafel were out of this world, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. They were very tasty and the hummus also tasted delicious. The atmosphere in the store is very cozy and the pictures on the wall make the store look very authentic. We were served quickly and spent a nice evening there. I can highly recommend the store.

**Bewertung für Mr. Misses Humus in Bonn** Ich möchte gerne meine Erfahrungen in Mr. Misses Humus teilen. Bei unserem Besuch um 21 Uhr wurde mitgeteilt, dass eine Platzwahl trotz leerer Tische zu dieser Zeit nicht mehr möglich sei, und wir nur an der Eingangstüre sitzen können. Als wir schließlich bedient wurden, fiel uns auf, dass einer der Mitarbeiter zuvor draußen vor der Tür rauchte. Dies führte dazu, dass er einen starken Rauchgeruch mit ins Restaurant nahm und bei der Bestellung stark danach roch. Ein weiterer Punkt, den wir insbesondere ansprechen möchten, ist die Musik. Trotz mehrfacher höflicher Anfragen, die laute Heavy-Metal-Musik Slader oder so abzustellen, wurde unser Anliegen ignoriert. Auch andere Gäste an einem benachbarten Tisch äußerten ähnliche Beschwerden. Ich denke, dass eine solche Musikrichtung nicht zu einem entspannten Abend in einem Restaurant wie Mr. Misses Humus passt. Schlimm war, dass die Drei Servicekräfte sich dann lustig über uns machten. Nie wieder.

Einfach umwerfend! Wir waren letzte Woche das erste Mal hier essen und haben uns durch alle Speisen probiert. Alles hat frisch geschmeckt und die Falafel waren ein Traum. Das Servicepersonal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend bedient, obwohl viel los war. Absolut empfehlenswert, wir kommen definitiv wieder!!
