Wer in Bonn ist und dieses Restaurant nicht besucht, hat wirklich etwas verpasst… Die Crew ist fantastisch, das Essen himmlisch – was will man mehr? Ich würde 7 Sterne geben, aber Google beschränkt mich auf 5…

Wow! Dieser Laden hat uns total begeistert. Wir haben verschiedene Hummus-Sorten, Shakshuka und andere Dips mit Brot probiert, und alles war einfach fantastisch. Top-Qualität, kurze Wartezeiten und supergünstige Preise. Und die Leute waren auch noch total nett! Absolute Empfehlung!

Etwas chaotisch manchmal aber lecker und preiswe

Hier kann man - für etwas zu hohe Preise - in konzeptionell passender Atmosphäre sehr lecker Humus und Co essen, waren schon oft dort, parken nicht so gut, Zielgruppe fährt auch eher Rad. Service sehr nett, Kartenzahlung, Essen kommt schnell und ist lecker. Natürlich gibt es nur sehr wenig Fleischgerichte, die sind trotzdem auch lecker. Kommen wieder.

Absolute Empfehlung. Super lecker, alles frisch und Preise sind fair.

Wir lieben dieses Restaurant! Die Mezze und der Falafel sind erstklassig. Das Personal ist freundlich und kompetent, der Service ist mit 10 von 10 Punkten absolut top.

Sehr zu empfehlen! Eine vielfältige Auswahl an Speisen, fast alle vegetarisch oder vegan. Nur wenige Gerichte mit Fleisch... Wer Falafel und Hummus mag, und die weiteren Gerichte aus dieser Küche, der ist hier hervorragend aufgehoben. Freundliches Personal und ein charmantes Ambiente sorgen zusammen mit dem leckeren Essen für die kleinen Wohlfühlmomente im Leben. Kleiner Tipp: probiert unbedingt die Falafel-Bällchen... ...und dazu eine hausgemachte Limonade! Mehr braucht man nicht für einen kurzen Glücksmoment.

Lief alles wie es sollte. Bestellung zügig aufgenommen, Getränke und Essen kamen schnell und hat mega geschmeckt. Mit mehreren Leuten sind die Mezze sehr zu empfehlen, da sollte für jeden was dabei sein und es hat ordentlich satt gemacht. Werden in Zukunft öfter kommen und uns durch den Rest der Speisekarte essen.

Ich wollte Baba Ghanoush und Hummus zum Mitnehmen. Heute bekam ich verbranntes Brot und altes Baba Ghanoush. Anstatt das Brot einzupacken, wurde es einfach so in die Tüte geworfen. Der Hummus war viel zu salzig. Leider musste ich alles wegwerfen.

Unheimlich netter Service und das Essen einfach mega lecker!

Sehr leckeres Essen, ich empfand die Umgebungslautstärke zu Beginn als sehr laut, könnte mich aber nach kurzer Zeit daran gewöhnen. Gegen Ende fiel mir das auch nicht mehr negativ auf.

Sehr gutes kleines Restaurant mit phänomenalem Falafel. Preis/Leistung mittlerweile nur noch OK. Die Location könnte etwas aufgewertet werden.

Leckere Speisen zu fairen Preisen. Man kann über einen QR-Code direkt online sein Essen und Getränke bestellen und wenn man will dann auch direkt bezahlen. Einfach und unkompliziert. Für alle die den persönlichen Kontakt bevorzugen, gibt es auch freundliches Personal, dass die Bestellungen aufnimmt und die Bezahlungen am Tisch abwickelt.

Irgendwie ganz lecker, aber nicht lecker genug für den unaufmerksamen Service und die doch recht hohen Preise. Wir haben dann nach dem Essen noch zwei Tees bestellt. Erst kamen zwei Gläser Tee, da wurden schonmal die Essteller mitgenommen. Dann wurde der Tee nochmal von einer anderen Kellnerin gebracht, sie hat dann gesehen, dass wir den Tee schon haben und ihn wieder mitgenommen. Vor den ganzen leeren/halbleeren Schälchen und den restlichen Pita und den leeren Gläsern der Vorrunde saßen wir den Rest des Abends. Nervig, vorallem bei den kleinen Tischen. Es wissen auch nicht alle Servicekräfte, was in den Getränken drin ist, was zu Problemen bei der Getränkebestellung führte. Wir hatten Mezze für drei, und waren verwundert, dass die Pita eiskalt waren. Leider war alles kalt bis auf die Falaffel, was für ein Abendessen einfach nicht so super ist. Da hätten warme Pita sehr geholfen. Die Falaffel waren allerdings super, womöglich sogar die leckersten, die ich je gegessen habe. Wir kommen leider nicht wieder.

Es war absolut in Ordnung, allerdings hatten wir den Eindruck, dass viele Gerichte nicht frisch zubereitet worden sind, sondern wieder aufgewärmt. Die Portionsgröße ist überschaubar, beim Geschmack fehlt es an der orientalischen Finesse, welche man tatsächlich dann hat, wenn man zu kleineren Libanesen oder Syrern geht, jedoch ist der Service sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Es war definitiv ein interessantes Erlebnis, wir würden aber nicht noch mal wiederkommen.

Bi Regen kein Spass jedoch sehr fein.

Leider war das Essen größtenteils geschmacklos oder extrem fettig. Der Blumenkohl mit Tahini hatte kaum Soße und war total langweilig. Der Fattoush bestand nur aus Gurken und Tomaten, die nach nichts schmeckten, und ein paar frittierten Brotstückchen, die in Öl getränkt und nicht knusprig waren. Am schlimmsten war aber die vegane Shakshuka: buchstäblich nur Tomatensoße mit etwas halbgarem Gemüse (die Auberginenschale war ungenießbar) und viel zu viel Öl (siehe Foto). Das Einzige, was einigermaßen schmeckte, war der Hummus, aber auch den mit Aubergine hatten wir bestellt, und der war schwer zu kauen und zu essen. Außerdem war es ziemlich teuer. Normalerweise lasse ich nie Essen übrig, wenn ich in einem Restaurant bin, aber das war unmöglich aufzuessen…

Super! Sie bieten Weinproben für 10 Euro an und man hat dabei eine tolle Zeit! Diesmal war der Laden brechend voll und ziemlich heiß … aber wir hatten einen Riesenspaß.

Der Hauptgrund für meine niedrige Bewertung sind die unbequemen Sitzplätze. Trotz Reservierung saßen wir an sehr unbequemen Tischen. Uns wurde zwar gesagt, es gäbe ein Zeitlimit, doch viele bessere Tische blieben während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts leer. Es ist auch nicht nachvollziehbar, dass manche Plätze deutlich besser sein sollen als andere. Zweitens: Obwohl das Essen gut schmeckte, empfand ich die Preise als zu hoch – 15 € für Falafel mit Hummus oder ein Omelett sind meiner Meinung nach übertrieben. Ein weiteres Problem war die Temperatur im Restaurant; es war ziemlich kalt, und die Türen standen offen, was die Atmosphäre noch unangenehmer machte.

Leckerstes Falafelpita, das ich jemals aß und viel besser, als die gefüllten Einheitspitadinger, die man sonst kennt. Absolut top alles!

Wir waren gestern zum 2. Mal bei Mr & Mrs Humus und wieder überzeugt. So lecker alles und ein echt gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Ich hatte z.B. Das Pita Mr. Humus - so gut 😋 . Die Bedienung war auch meganett. 👌 Wir waren nicht das letzte Mal dort.

Wir bestellten Baba Ganoush und Pita. Das Essen war bitter, besonders das Baba Ganoush. Vielleicht ist das in veganen Cafés üblich, aber es hat uns überhaupt nicht geschmeckt. Der Cocktail mit Ouzo war sehr stark. Vielleicht ist diese Art von Küche einfach nicht unser Fall. Sehr speziell und bitter. Der Service und die Atmosphäre waren gut. Alles wurde schnell serviert. Auch das Brot zum Mitnehmen war sehr lecker.

Ein wirklich toller Laden! Ambiente und Service sind top, dazu gibt es kostenlos Wasser. Die Falafel sind die besten, die ich je gegessen habe, und auch der Hummus ist super. Bei den Platten für mehrere Personen war so viel Essen dabei, dass wir es nicht einmal annähernd geschafft haben. Was mir bei den Platten etwas gefehlt hat, war die Variation. Es gab Hummus in verschiedenen Varianten, einen Knoblauchdip und eine Schale mit Tomatensoße. Beim nächsten Mal würde ich mir zusätzlich noch eine Schakschuka bestellen.

Dies war das erste Restaurant, das wir nach unserer Ankunft in Bonn über Frankreich, Belgien und die Niederlande besuchten. Obwohl wir kein Deutsch sprechen, war das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend und sprach Englisch mit uns. Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant war einfach wunderbar. Trotz Montagabend strömten die Einheimischen ununterbrochen herein! Das Restaurant war erfüllt von fröhlichem Lachen und angeregten Gesprächen. Das Essen war außerdem würzig und herzhaft (ich dachte immer, Europäer mögen kein scharfes Essen, aber da habe ich mich wohl geirrt). Dies ist ein bekanntes Restaurant, das Sie unbedingt besuchen sollten, wenn Sie in Bonn sind.

Wir waren zu fünft dort mit unseren israelischen Gästen und wir waren alle sehr zufrieden. Die Liebhaber israelischer und orientalischen Küche ist hier der richtige Ort. Es schmeckt alles sehr gut und der Service ist sehr zugewandt und freundlich. Wir kommen wieder.

Ich liebe dieses Restaurant! Es ist eines meiner Lieblingsrestaurants in Bonn und bietet tolle und leckere vegane und vegetarische Gerichte. Ich empfehle die Mezze-Platte (das Bild zeigt eine Mezze-Platte für 2 Personen).

Nette, gute Beratung, super leckeres Essen, guter und netter Service. Direkt zur Begrüßung eine Flasche Leitungswasser angeboten bekommen die auch von selbst nachgefüllt wurde, die normalen Getränke waren auch lecker. Das Essen kam schnell (die Falafel sind sehr gut!) und die Portionen haben mehr als satt gemacht. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen :-)

Superleckeres Essen; beste Falafel, die ich in den letzten zehn Jahren gegessen habe. Freundlicher und hilfreicher Service. Wir haben Freitagabends um 18h noch easy einen Tisch bekommen; danach wurde es rasch voller, so dass sich eine Reservierung empfiehlt.

Einfach schön. Tolle Kunst an den Wänden zum schauen, das Essen ist super lecker, die Stimmung auch.. Ich weiß nicht, wie man da nicht glücklich sein kann. Ich gehe hier immer wieder gern hin. Besonders mag ich so Kleinigkeiten wie einen Hygieneartikelspender auf der Damentoilette. Ehrlich, geht mal her, bestellt Mezze für 3 und sagt mir nicht, das es nicht bombastisch lecker & viel zu viel war 😄

Delicious food and cozy atmosphere!

The food was delicious. It's definitely recommended to order a mezzo for several people; you'll certainly leave full. It's a bit noisy when you're there, the service wasn't particularly attentive, and the prices aren't exactly cheap, but the experience is absolutely worth it.

For those who love not only pasta and potatoes but have also fallen in love with Arabic cuisine, this is a very cozy place with many dishes that make this culinary corner of the world so appealing. The selection is good, the prices are reasonable, and as a nice touch, they offer the famous "Kranenberger" – free tap water. Fast, friendly service completes a pleasant visit.

Best falafel & babaganoush, yummy!

We went to Mr & Mrs Humus yesterday, and it was a truly lovely visit. The food was absolutely delicious: We had cream cheese, ganouji, and of course, hummus as a dip – all wonderfully creamy, fresh, and flavorful. The warm bread was light, soft, and simply perfect for dipping. My friend opted for a falafel plate, and I chose a falafel pita – both were wonderfully seasoned, crispy on the outside, and beautifully moist on the inside. You can tell that the food is cooked with love. Unfortunately, I accidentally ordered the wrong wine and got sparkling wine – that was my mistake, not hers – but it was still delicious. The prices were very reasonable, and anything you can't finish is easily taken home. The service was consistently friendly and attentive. The ambiance is warm, inviting, and beautifully decorated – you immediately feel comfortable without it feeling cluttered. In short: Delicious food, a pleasant atmosphere, and excellent service. We'll definitely be back.

The food was delicious; the four of us ordered several dishes and shared them, which made choosing much easier. It was quite busy, but the food still arrived very quickly. It can get a bit noisy when all the tables are occupied, but otherwise the atmosphere is very pleasant.

The food was okay. The restaurant was very crowded, cramped, and loud. On the one hand, that speaks to the quality of the food, but on the other hand, it's not really my thing. What I found odd was that they didn't ask how the food tasted when they cleared the table.

I believe the food feels like authentic Middle East. The flavors were more potent and strange to me, their hummus tastes way differently to the regular hummus you would guess in the supermarket, but you can tell theirs is freshly done with natural ingredients, while the one you buy might be full of something that reduces the potency. The portions were very good, I was more than full with a single “Mr. Hummus” sandwich. Absolutely recommended! But brace yourself for a non-western taste experience :)

Super cute atmosphere despite being next to a big street, especially the fairy lights are cozy outside! The food was very fast and good, especially the falafel, the hummus and the pita bread!! The fava beans lacked a bit of flavor... and for my understanding a plate with falafel, a bit of aubergine and some fava beans for 16 euros is quite expensive... but we really enjoyed it! The food came super fast and the service was very nice.

Extremely delicious dishes, fast service.

We were there for the first time and ordered two falafel and hummus dishes (including pita bread). Simply unbelievably delicious! It was so tasty, we even forgot to take pictures of our food 😅 The falafel is nice and crispy on the outside and piping hot (the best I've ever had!), while the inside is moist, warm, and well-seasoned! The hummus was very creamy, well-seasoned, and without any bitterness (which you usually get). The tabbouleh tasted very refreshing. The eggplant strips with tahini dressing made me absolutely addicted 😄 The oven-warm pita bread went wonderfully with it – although we couldn't finish it, so we had to pack it. The portion itself didn't look too huge, but we ended up eating more than we needed. The homemade teas really taste "homemade" and weren't too sweet. The service was very friendly and not intrusive. The order was easy and quick to take. The food arrived promptly. The parking situation is rather poor (but that's not Mr. and Mrs. Hummus's fault). During the week, you can find a parking space nearby relatively quickly – one hour of parking costs €4 for the parking ticket. The public order office is often in the area (we've already seen a few cars parked with tickets). We'd love to come back! 😊

A very student-friendly atmosphere. The prices are quite reasonable, but they're not justified. The bowls aren't even a quarter full. It was a pre-baked loaf that had simply been warmed up. Some of the menu items were authentic, but others contained spices that didn't belong in these dishes... Overall, not recommended.

The restaurant is very cozy, and the service is incredibly friendly! The food was delicious (the pita bread and falafel were especially delicious!) A personal plus for me was the free tap water on the menu and period products in the restroom—that's what hospitality feels like <3

A true potpourri of deliciousness! The four of us ate at Mr and Mrs Humus yesterday – and everyone loved it. The dishes were fresh, exquisitely seasoned, and prepared with love. We were particularly impressed by the hummus and flatbread. The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff is friendly and attentive. We were also delighted: Our dog was warmly welcomed and felt just as comfortable as we did. A real highlight in Bonn for anyone who appreciates good vegetarian food – we'll definitely be back!

I had the shakshuka, which I found okay but nothing special. The service was good, but the atmosphere was unfortunately very uncomfortable and noisy, so we didn't stay long (dinner).

Super friendly team, amazing food, and the patio in the courtyard is just chill. My favorite: - Hamshuka with hummus - Cauliflower - Baba ghanoush with falavel - it's topped with a curry tahini mix - it's amazing. A little tip for the kitchen: add a little date syrup, and the dish will be amazing!

My favorite place to eat hummus. I come regularly, even though it's over 60 km away. It's always delicious, beautifully presented, everyone is friendly, and the atmosphere is very cozy. A visit there is like a few hours of vacation in the South.

Fantastically delicious food. Cosy terrace with lots of colour. Very friendly service. A mistake in the kitchen was immediately corrected to our advantage: we had asked for 3 falafel balls, but got 9 and when we noticed that, we were allowed to eat them without paying extra.🙏 But it was so delicious and so tiptop in every way, that we happily paid for all the balls.👍 Of course we asked for the leftovers to take home and that was no problem at all. We love the place. In my opinion, it's the best falafel I've ever eaten anywhere. The hummus and Mrs. Labneh are just as unbeatable. The atmosphere isn't exactly spectacular, but eating there is worth it, especially for the taste.
