Mr. and Mrs. Hummus in Bonn absolutely amazed me with their delicious falafels and irresistible hummus! The falafel was perfectly seasoned, crispy on the outside and deliciously juicy on the inside. Every bite was a taste experience. The hummus was simply heavenly. Creamy, full-bodied and refined with the right spices, it tasted irresistible. The homemade pitas served on the side were fresh and fluffy, just as they should be. Unfortunately, the toilets were not very inviting and should be renovated and kept clean! Overall, my visit to Mr. and Mrs. Hummus in Bonn was a culinary experience that I can recommend to everyone.

I celebrated my birthday there with several people. The food is delicious and fresh. Even if the dishes are quite similar in taste. Unfortunately we were very cold. It was around zero degrees outside. Apparently the restaurant just doesn't get warm, we have our scarves and jackets untied. That was uncomfortable. And the service was nice, but inattentive and unfortunately only came when asked.

We were there winter time, when it was snowing outside. We were sitting at the side room. We were freezing there! The food to be improved, we love israeli food, we know well Humus and Shakshuka, but it was not tasting like that. The Humus served cold (no, it shouldn't come cold in a Humus restaurant), the shakshuka was not like shakshuka and the tomatoes were cut roughly. It should be more authentic and closer to the Israeli cousin The pita bread were good

Mezze (vegan) for two people: really tasty, the selection is great all around. Unfortunately the price is quite expensive, but compared to the competition it is still worth it. Due to the canceled cooperation with NeoTaste, discounts are no longer possible.

Finally a place with a great Labneh selection! Best humus in town.

Warm favorite restaurant. Discovered by chance, my evening place of well-being during my week in Bonn. Delicious food, super friendly crew and a lovingly decorated shop. My favorites: falafel hummus, falafel baba, mushroom hummus and of course the rose water dessert. As soon as I'm in Bonn again, I'll come back here straight away.

For me, Mr. & Mrs. Humus is THE address in Bonn for oriental food. We were always served quickly and didn't have to wait long for our food. The dishes are not only presented in a visually appealing way, but are also more than delicious. The falafel balls are nice and crispy, the warm pita bread is delicious. Of course, hummus should not be missing and vegan Shakshuka rounds off the flavor options. In summer it is more relaxed in terms of space thanks to the nice inner courtyard, but in winter it can be quite tight and a bit noisy inside. Whenever we are in Bonn, we try to reserve a table there. Places are rare, so it's best to reserve well in advance.

I regularly eat at Mr and Mrs Hummus as they serve vegan and vegetarian food that is very tasteful and prepared with love. The best falafel I know is available here and the quality remains consistently very good over time. The service is also very good. You are served promptly and don't have to wait too long for your food. In my opinion, the price-performance ratio is absolutely appropriate. The ambience is simple yet cozy and lovingly furnished with pictures of famous actors of the time on the wall.

Trotz der Lage an einer viel befahrenen Straße, schafft das Lokal gemütlich aufzutreten, was an sich bereits eine Leistung ist. Der Service war etwas hektisch, im großen und ganzen aber freundlich und aufmerksam. Ich hatte eine Mezze-Platte. Mir war sie etwas Dip-lastig, aber hey; der Name mr and mrs humus kommt ja auch nicht aus dem nichts ;). Qualitativ war ich durchaus überzeugt, einzig das Baba ganoush fiel für mich ab. Es schmeckte fast ausschließlich nach tahini. Ich komme gerne wieder!

In October I attended a seminar in Bonn and discovered this shop on Instagram. We ate there, among other things, hummus with champions and Fallafel. The Fallafel were out of this world, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. They were very tasty and the hummus also tasted delicious. The atmosphere in the store is very cozy and the pictures on the wall make the store look very authentic. We were served quickly and spent a nice evening there. I can highly recommend the store.

Despite its location on a busy street, the place manages to appear cozy, which is an achievement in itself. The service was a bit hectic, but overall friendly and attentive. I had a mezze platter. I found it a bit dip-heavy, but hey; The name mr and mrs humus didn't come out of nowhere ;). I was quite impressed with the quality, only the Baba ganoush stood out for me. It tasted almost exclusively like tahini. I'd love to come back!

**Bewertung für Mr. Misses Humus in Bonn** Ich möchte gerne meine Erfahrungen in Mr. Misses Humus teilen. Bei unserem Besuch um 21 Uhr wurde mitgeteilt, dass eine Platzwahl trotz leerer Tische zu dieser Zeit nicht mehr möglich sei, und wir nur an der Eingangstüre sitzen können. Als wir schließlich bedient wurden, fiel uns auf, dass einer der Mitarbeiter zuvor draußen vor der Tür rauchte. Dies führte dazu, dass er einen starken Rauchgeruch mit ins Restaurant nahm und bei der Bestellung stark danach roch. Ein weiterer Punkt, den wir insbesondere ansprechen möchten, ist die Musik. Trotz mehrfacher höflicher Anfragen, die laute Heavy-Metal-Musik Slader oder so abzustellen, wurde unser Anliegen ignoriert. Auch andere Gäste an einem benachbarten Tisch äußerten ähnliche Beschwerden. Ich denke, dass eine solche Musikrichtung nicht zu einem entspannten Abend in einem Restaurant wie Mr. Misses Humus passt. Schlimm war, dass die Drei Servicekräfte sich dann lustig über uns machten. Nie wieder.

Ein fantastisches Lokal mit unglaublich guten Speisen, entspanntem Ambiente, großartigen Köchen und freundlichstem Service Personal! War nach vielen Empfehlungen zum ersten Mal in diesem Restaurant und war mehr als begeistert. Eigentlich mag ich keine Falafel, aber hier habe ich sogar welche nachbestellt. Der Baba Ganush war auch herausragend gut! Das Preis Leistugs Verhältnis lässt auch nichts zu wünschen übrig. Das Personal war überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend, bei entspannter Atmosphäre. Ich werde viele Male wieder kommen.

We have now eaten in the restaurant several times and also brought food home. It's always been absolutely great! The decor is cozy and the service is very nice. If you want to get to grips with the dishes first, almost everything is available in smaller portions (mezze). You can try everything there. Great thing! But you should reserve a table, especially on the weekend, as word has spread about the quality of the restaurant ;-)

Hummus Classic was okay, but somehow overall bland and nothing special. I expected more based on the positive reviews.

Delicious dishes with lots of hummus and falafels and delicious bread. It's a bit cramped in the small shop, but it's very comfortable for groups of friends. Be sure to try the house lemonade! Prices aren't cheap, but for the quality/freshness it's worth it!

Falafel well seasoned and delicious. Humus classic is far too oily and tasteless. Bean salad was bland, you had to look for the pomegranate seeds with a magnifying glass. The prices were high.

I ordered Falafel with hummus. The amount was good, but I noticed that the combination is too dry... it had a lot of parsley, but I guess this could improve with a real salad. My partner tried the hummus with beans. That was really good! I enjoyed that!

Amazing food for a decent price. The best thing is that tap water isn’t just for free but listed in the menu as free. This may seem an irrelevant detail for some people but is a bold statement and unique. It’s a lovely place to have a Meze with friends and family. Definitely check it out and recommend it to other people. The world needs more restaurants like this one!

In June 2024 we ordered catering for 35 people for an event on August 18th. The confirmation of the catering came by email with a few days delay at the beginning of July. Two weeks before the event, on August 4th, the catering was canceled out of the blue because they were going on a summer break. Mind you: On Sundays, the day before the summer break begins, they send us a message saying that catering is canceled. Of course, they cannot be reached the day after - because of the summer break. I really like the food there, but such behavior is technically a breach of contract and also quite unprofessional.

Super tasty, filling and nice atmosphere! The three of us had dinner at Mr and Mrs Hummus last night. There we ordered mezze for 2 (vegan): a great mix of delicious hummus, baba ghanoush, tabbouleh and fluffy bread. Not only was it super tasty, but it was also good enough for three hungry people. We sat in the beautiful courtyard but the inside is also stylishly decorated. Mr and Mrs Hummus is definitely worth a visit and it's worth making the trip even if you live further away.

Had the mezzeplatter and was a bit disappointed I gotta say. The hummus was OK but each dish tasted pretty much the same. Also the pitas were nice but far more than two people could eat. At most there was 3 pomegranates per dish. Must've been a shortage or something. Service is friendly and did apologize for forgetting things. The courtyard outside is nice to sit in. Overall a bit "meh" and not much variance in flavor.

Abysmal service experience with extremely unfriendly, unwelcoming and grumpy staff, but great food and a nice restaurant design. The options for a nice meal in Bonn are limited so on balance we will probably return. Shame about this experience. We e-mailed to make a reservation and this was ignored, then they acted like they had no idea about this. Get a booking app then, it’s 2024 😅

The restaurant somehow gives a holiday feeling, thanks to the bright colors and the seating outside. Especially in warm, sunny weather, sitting outside really puts you in a good mood. For me the food didn't quite live up to the hype, maybe I just got it on the wrong day? I chose the vegan shakshuka, cauliflower and fava bean paste with pita bread. Shakshuka was tasty but seemed as if it had become too hot while cooking, which caused the sauce and oil to separate and settle, which was a shame as the taste unfortunately suffered. The cauliflower was really good but unfortunately cold and the fava paste was too bitter for my taste. The pita bread was tasty but unfortunately also cold. In total I spent 30 euros and even had some packed. Overall it was good but I expected more based on word of mouth and reviews. Everything on the table looked very good. I think the service was a shame, it took a long time until I was served and also until my order was taken from me, but once I made my choice, the food arrived quickly. Only the drink was almost forgotten and came much later. Apparently there wasn't that much going on, so it wasn't entirely understandable. But I think I'll stop by again and try other things on the menu (e.g. the falafels). In terms of the ambience, we really liked it.

First of all, I think the atmosphere is extremely nice - both in the cute courtyard and inside. The service was also very nice and quick - you can also conveniently order by cell phone! The map is large and very attractive, making it extremely difficult to make a decision. I would have loved to try everything. The five of us shared some tapas and dishes and found everything really good. Personally, I found the tahini note a little too strong in hummus etc., but that's totally a personal preference. The portions were really big and we were even able to take a doggy bag with us. I want to come back soon!

Were invited to this restaurant for my niece's birthday dinner. Absolute go-to place for vegetarians and vegans, although I ordered a meat dish. The hummus with bread also tasted very good. The food was served very, very hot in a cast iron pan. The furniture was simple and there were funny pictures on the wall. Friendly staff.

Frau Shakshuka, Tabuleh, dip with Zatar , baba Ghanoush were some of the best dishes Pita breads are big enough. Only dish I would rate average is Fatoush salad. Need to book beforehand as they are very busy specially on weekends.

Mr. and Ms. Hummus is a perfect example of how less is sometimes more. Their simple dishes, designed as dips, accompanied by beautifully cooked pita bread, epitomize comfort food. The mezzes are ideal for sharing, and every dip is simply amazing. Despite hummus being the namesake, the falafel also deserve a special mention. Few places achieve such a well-balanced flavor without the falafel being too dry. Additionally, all plates are vegetarian, with many vegan options available. The informal atmosphere, complemented by the laid-back staff, perfectly enhances the experience, making you feel right at home.

It's a very cosy place with some great food. I was surprised by the quantity they served. My personal favourite is their aubergine hummus and their homemade lemonade. Would definitely visit again!

We had placed the order online shortly before and received no confirmation, so it was suspicious. The food was ready to be picked up straight away, so everything was great.
