The food was excellent as was the service. Sensational in terms of taste and appearance, plus a nice ambience. Really recommended.

Looks like a nice restaurant, but the price performance wasn't right at all. There were many things that weren't available even though they were on the menu, we all ate separately because our food wasn't there at the same time. I wouldn't go there again!

We have been to Mosbachers twice so far. Unfortunately there was no pizza salmon hollondaise (€12.90) the first time. Yesterday we noticed that the menu had been thinned out again. We decided on 2x PASTA IN PARMESAN LOAF. The noodles were good. Unfortunately the portions are quite small. We spent almost 70 euros (€69.30) on two dishes with dessert expresso and cappuccino. There is more choice and larger quantities in the surrounding restaurants and the price-performance ratio is right. It's a shame actually.

We wanted to eat there today at 7:40 p.m. No one answered the phone at 7 p.m. We passed there and no one was sitting in the restaurant except us. We were led in and then asked if we would like to eat something. We said yes. Then they said, "We can't offer anything to eat anymore today because we're closing early" (it was actually open until 9 p.m. but they obviously didn't feel like making the kitchen dirty again for two people. It's a shame. Of course we'll go no longer there.

Das Restaurant ist schon in die Jahre gekommen…. Auf der Terrasse zur After Work Party am Donnerstag war es recht laut und Unterhaltungen waren nur nebeneinander möglich. Das Essen war hervorragend aber die Portionen winzig und dafür einfach zu teuer. Die Speisekarte wurde auf 4 Gerichte reduziert 🤷🏼‍♂️. Wir waren mit Freunden dort daher war der Abend prima. Von uns (7 Personen) war es ein einmaliger Versuch…..aber jeder sollte sich selbst eine Meinung bilden.

We were guests for the first time on Friday at the end of the week. When making our selection, we relied on the ratings and reviews. The music inside was very loud. We then decided to sit outside. The waiting time to express the first drink requests was 20 minutes. A total of 23 guests were present - 8 at one table (equipped with vodka and energy in the cooler; thus essentially for self-catering service). Apparently there were two employees assigned to the service, so everything was actually quite manageable. Drinks came after an eternity. There was no inquiry about the food - another 15 minutes passed - she wanted to send her colleague - after another 10 minutes something finally happened. The neighboring table then reported that they had also waited 40 minutes just for food. We then decided to leave. In short: Bad service, no focus on the customer - unfortunately not enough for that another visit.

Nice atmosphere right at the harbor. Stylish furnishings. Staff very nice and accommodating. Right at the beginning we were told that there was no pizza and no mango avocado salad. For the main course we had beef tartare and the salmon and cream cheese rolls. In the former, the salty taste dominated. The quality of the meat was good. The salmon rolls were unspectacular. Smoked salmon and cream cheese in the middle. We expected more. For the main course we had the Mosbacher burger and the rack of lamb. Both edible, but still a disappointment. The burger had a large patty of good meat, but the cheese was sliced ​​cheese. Next to it was a blob of puree, which was barely seasoned. The very small rack of lamb was well done and dry. The mashed potatoes (very small portion) also had a very weak taste, which offset the taste of the vegetable puree somewhat. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not right here. Nice and competent service staff. But you can't say that about the kitchen. Expensive “VIP drinks” are probably the main business here.

Happy and satisfied, watched the European Championship game, very good service, what stands out is the ambience, drinks and food at its best. Many thanks to the owner and the service staff for a successful evening. We will be back. 🤗

Was told on arrival it was a private function and not allowed entry. Very disappointed will not be booking again.

It was our mistake that we came on an after-work evening with two 86 year olds. However, we were assured that it wouldn't be so loud outside with the DJ and the music, so we switched from inside to outside. In the end it was quieter inside than outside. At this point we felt we had been misadvised. The service was unfocused and unfriendly, the WiFi didn't work and the annoyance about it was "taken out" on us. Due to the after-work party, there was a special, scaled-down menu that we ordered from. The price-performance ratio is not right, neither the quality nor the quantity of the food justifies the high prices. We were particularly annoyed that guests at the next tables were given dishes from the normal menu, which we were also happy to choose. When we asked, we were rudely told that a waitress didn't know that there was only the reduced menu that evening. That seemed like an excuse to us, because the chef(s) would have known this. In addition, a kitchen usually does not stock food that is not on the menu. The fact that two Ferariers outrageously used the barrier-free access to the restaurant as a parking space was silently tolerated by the restaurant. The packet of salt with a restaurant sticker on the table had already been mentioned by other people and left us in disbelief as well. A symbol of the discrepancies between expectations and reality. The aperitif was also available in plastic glasses. All in all a disappointing experience.

What can we say! The guardian angel Vassilios (restaurant manager) saved my mother's life today after she choked on a piece of meat! How can you give thanks for saving a human life? We are forever in his debt 🙏 Please be sure to support this life-saving restaurant. I will apply for the Federal Cross of Merit for him. Otherwise everything was great if we had had the head for it.

We celebrated a JGA there on Saturday. The staff was very nice and attentive. Greetings to the waiter with glasses and a pigtail, he was very attentive and friendly and even played the DJ for us 😊. Nice relaxed atmosphere if you go out to eat earlier in the evening. The later the evening, the younger the guests become. But that's okay too. The quality of the dishes is consistently good.

I think the ambience/style is great. Food was ok. I had fillet. The choice of piece could have been different as it was very thick. The salad with salmon was also ok. The service was nice, but there was still a lot missing for the "service of a restaurant", i.e. the 1x1 of the service was missing that evening.

We were there at opening time. Almost every table was not clean. There were still breadcrumbs on the tables including ants. The music was a little too loud for my taste and the disco lights were blinding. Upon request, these were then kindly identified. The food was "okay" although I didn't like the burger with fries for a total of around €20 (personal preference). My companion's risotto was definitely very "neutral". All in all, a rather disappointing first impression. I'll only mention the salt from the cardboard box (like the refill packs for home) in passing. For a store that focuses on "classy" it's more than ridiculous.

The Mosbachers is a great retreat in Gelsenkirchen to relax from everyday life. The Mosbachers shines with a great atmosphere inside, but also outside (seating, winter garden, etc.). The great flair, the harbor creates an unforgettable ambience. I and we are impressed by the quality of the dishes: starters, main course, dessert. There is also a selection of great drinks, wines and delicious pilsners. The Mosbachers launches several great events and serves as a contact point to expand your network. Really nice location for GE. View of the marina, nice bar, good cocktails, open kitchen. An event restaurant. It may be that there is a table football tournament going on in the background to which all guests are invited. The room is quite large, but still comfortable. The background music is quite loud.

Wir kennen viele Restaurants, Mosbacher war ein besonderes Erlebnis! Das ausgefallene Ambiente gefiel uns sehr gut, dazu Musik, die wir mögen. Wir hatten einen Groupon Gutschein für 3 Gänge. Die Auswahl der einzelnen Gänge war recht gut, das Essen sehr lecker. Vorab gab es noch frisch gebackenes warmes Brot mit Aioli und einem Schälchen Oliven. Hervorzuheben ist der ausgezeichnete Service!

Es war ein reines Geschmackserlebnis. Wir wünschen den Betreibern und uns, dass dieses Restaurant lange so bleiben wird. Der nächste Termin steht für uns schon fest.

To put it bluntly, there is definitely a better way!!! 1. Table reservation for 10 people did not reach the staff despite confirmation via Instagram. Luckily for us, many tables were unoccupied. 2. The wine, 2 bottles of Pinot Gris, was served on champagne coolers filled with ice, but was only at room temperature. In addition, only these two bottles are available. When the recommendation to switch to Sauvignon Blanc, which was three times as expensive, was rejected, three more bottles of Pinot Gris were found, which were then put in the freezer. 3. The food had its ups and downs. The shrimp was excellent, the Pimientos de Padrón was served with parmesan shavings instead of sea salt. The tagliatelle made from a parmesan loaf with additional beef fillet tips did not deserve its name. WHO serves tough, well-done beef in a gravy as beef fillet tips??? 4. Why do neither the staff nor the website inform you that the opening times only apply on "clubbing" days? Otherwise, this restaurant closes at 11 p.m. instead of 3 a.m. Guests were turned away or, since they had come from Düsseldorf, “calmed down” with a drink. 5. And which staff uses a foosball table during working hours instead of serving guests??? Summary: A restaurant with a very pleasant atmosphere. Everything else can be expanded! What do you want to be? Clubbing hotspot? Restaurant? Bar? A bit of everything? Then it communicates better!

The food was excellent, the service was very friendly and attentive. We had salad as a starter, schnitzel (made from chicken) with incredibly good home-made fries and a divinely delicious dessert. One star deducted: although not all tables were occupied, it quickly became quite loud. Since Mosbacher's is also a bar, this is something to be expected.

The ambience is good and cozy. In between we noticed that the music was a bit loud, beat-heavy but we were able to ignore that. The food is OK, not great but OK. We each had a pizza, the quantity was more than enough. The dessert, panna cotta and crème brûlée, were attractively presented and very tasty. What bothered me; Soft drinks only in 0.2 L bottles. On the one hand it's a mini sip and on the other hand it's a bit sporty for €3.50!! I find 0.3 apple spritzer with very very little apple and five ice cubes for €4.50 to be at least questionable, even if I were very wealthy. The pricing policy may not bother everyone, but for me it left an exclamation mark! The staff was very nice, polite and attentive!

We were there for the first time last night. We don't live far away and we love going out for a fancy meal. Why we had never been to Mosbachers before was a mystery to us. Sooo took the chance and went to visit on Valentine's Day. The store itself wasn't full and we stood at the entrance for quite a long time to pick it up. One service worker saw us and ignored us and the other simply didn't want to see us even though we were standing right behind him. So far so good, we sit down and order the Valentine's Day menu. Starter, the tartare was unbelievably delicious, the fried egg was ice cold... I sat in front of the empty plate for almost an hour until the HG came. There was nothing to complain about, it was tasty but nothing special. Then sat in front of the empty plates for over an hour until the dessert came. When serving, I asked for the bill, what should I say? The bill came half an hour after consumption. Dessert specialty from the chef? Incredibly bitter rice pudding with berries and ice cream, maybe that's how it should be? All in all, I have to say the shop is visually super cool, the staff is slow but very friendly, the food is ok, the price is unbeatable. But not worth a second visit for us. Maybe the parties are cooler?

Hello, yesterday we went to Mosbacher's for the first time with our friends and were treated to a greeting from the kitchen and a few shots from the boss by the friendly service staff. The starters, antipasti, burata and a tomato soup were attractively presented and tasted very good👍. The fillet steaks were perfectly cooked and of good quality. The chilled music, the delicious cocktails and the beautiful ambience made for a relaxed Saturday evening. We'll be happy to come back!

The ambience offered just the right mix of good, chilled music, which wasn't too loud, so you could have a good conversation. About the food: The price-performance ratio is simply great and, despite a relatively small menu, there is something for everyone. Another positive aspect is that all cocktails are also available non-alcoholic. Definitely worth a visit!

Great New Year's Eve! Outstanding location. The service, as well as the food and drink were also very good. The fireworks were great and the music was great too, there was something for every taste. Thank you for the lovely evening.

We were there on New Year's Eve and it was terrible. It was so overcrowded that you had to fight for a table even though you had a reservation. Strangers were then simply squeezed into the reserved table. Some people left after 10 minutes even though the tickets cost €40 per person. Sometimes 8 people stood at a bar table and had to eat at it. The announced "buffet" was a joke. No labels at all, a huge problem for allergy sufferers or people with intolerances. It definitely wasn't of high quality either. Here too the organization was terrible. There were paper plates and wooden cutlery. In a restaurant like this it's really cheap, but it's a classy atmosphere. The toilets apparently weren't checked, let alone cleaned, throughout the evening. With so many people it's just disgusting! The toilets looked accordingly. There was no promised “welcome shot”. You didn't really hear much of the music outside for the first few hours. There was a DJ booth outside, but no one played. When we asked when the promised DJ would start, we were told he would start outside at 10 p.m.... that was around 10:15 p.m. After asking again a little later, it suddenly said midnight. In the end, the DJ was there a long time ago, but he only played music inside and didn't do it well... the transitions were terrible. Mostly Spanish dance music was played, which isn't really suitable music for New Year's Eve for my taste, but that remains to be seen. There was literally no room for dancing. Or people made room for themselves, which meant that some people at their table were constantly jostled by people dancing. The service team itself was disappointed with the organization and implementation and noted that it wasn't really in a party mood. All in all, the location itself is really nice and cozy, but the evening itself was a mess. I come from the catering industry myself and that didn't work at all! Not again.

We've been meaning to come over for a long time. We were warmly welcomed and served in a friendly manner. My wife's cocktail was perfect, the truffle pasta and parmesan pasta were great! The fillet steak was a dream, grilled perfectly to medium rare, beautifully served with a truffle mashed potato and a tasty, spicy reduction. Upon request, our baby received two freshly baked slices of toasted bread. Delicious! Price performance was 100%! We will be back. 👍🏼

Gutes Essen, allerdings relativ lange Vorbereitungszeit (wobei wir zur Zeit der Bestellung die einzigen Gäste im Raum waren), schlechtes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, speziell zu Beilagen.

Ich war am Samstag im Mosbachers und kann den Laden sehr empfehlen. Das Essen war wirklich sehr gut und das zu einem in meinen Augen geringen Preissegment. Der Service und das Ambiente war ebenfalls sehr gut👌 Ich werde definitiv wiederkommen. Danke an das Team 👍

Wir waren heute das erste Mal hier essen. Es war alles sehr gut, Vorspeise Top, Hauptspeise Top, dessert super genial! Ambiente super, abgerundet mit einer total stimmigen playlist bekannten Songs in chilliger Ausführung. Wir waren sehr begeistert und kommen definitiv wieder.

Gegessen haben wir "noch" nicht , wird aber folgen!!!! Leckere Cocktails, überaus aufmerksames Personal! Tolles Ambiente und wir sind ganz bald wieder da zu Essen!!!

Das Restaurant ist super schön und die Hintergrundmusik toll . Der Service war auch in Ordnung. Aber das Essen ist nicht gut. Das Brot mit Aioli war noch lecker, die Pizza war ganz gut aber die Nudelgerichte haben gar nicht geschmeckt. Es muss sich was am Essen ändern um den Laden voll zu bekommen. Es waren nur 2 Tische besetzt und das Freitag Abend!! Für die schlechten Nudeln habe ich gratis eine Pizza bekommen das fand ich sehr entgegenkommend aber ich finde es so so schade für die tolle Location. Da muss was passieren.

Wir waren gestern zum ersten Mal im Mosbacher's und wirklich begeistert. Das Essen war wirklich von sehr guter Qualität und sehr, sehr lecker.Das Preis Leistungs Verhältnis ist wirklich sehr angemessen. Das Ambiente ist ganz toll und wirklich eine Bereicherung für Gelsenkirchen. Service ist zwar nicht 100% perfekt, aber sehr, sehr nett und freundlich. Das Show-Cooking war toll und der Koch ist Spitze! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und werden sie weiterempfehlen.

Das Ambiente des Restaurants ist elegant und gemütlich zugleich. Der Service war ausgezeichnet. Das Personal war äußerst aufmerksam, freundlich und gut informiert über die Speisekarte. Das Essen war mega! Wir kommen wieder.

Das Essen war schmackhaft, die Portion des Gentlemans Cut war vom Fleisch ausreichend, allerdings wären etwas mehr Beilagen wünschenswert. Bei dem Nudelgericht, könnte ich mir ein bisschen mehr Rafinesse vorstellen, z.B. mit ein paar Pilzen und Zwiebeln.

Es waren 5 Bedienungen da , für nur drei belegte Tische. Eigentlich zu viel Personal - jedoch sind trotzdem Leute gegangen weil Sie nach 15 min immer noch nicht nach einer Bestellung gefragt worden sind. Wir waren mit dem Essen fertig und auch danach wurde nicht mehr gefragt ob wie noch was trinken möchten . (Personal stand hinter der Theke) Wir haben drei Gerichte bestellt und trotzdem ergaben sich zwei Nachfragen weil es wieder "vergessen" wurde. Essen war ok . Steak sollte Medium sein war durch . Trüffelnudeln war zu laff wenig Geschmack. Schade da die Location wirklich unglaublich schön ist.

Stilvolles Ambiente. Wir hatten einen Tisch auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf den Hafen. Eine tolle Atmosphäre in den Abendstunden. Das Essen war vielfältig und von ausgezeichneter Qualität. Auch der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Von der Hauptspeise bis zum Dessert war alles unfassbar lecker und qualitativ sehr hochwertig,wenn man die Qualität der Speisen dazu sieht, sind die Preise absolut gerechtfertigt. Der Service war auch extrem gut! Wir hatten einen super netten und professionellen Kellner er war sehr locker und hatte immer einen witzigen Spruch auf den Lippen! Das hat uns sehr beeindruckt, denn sowas macht guten Service aus. Die Fähigkeit sich auf die Gäste einzustellen und anzupassen. Es war mit unter der schönste Tag in unserem Leben und das nicht nur weil wir Ja gesagt haben. Ihr habt jegliche Erwartungen einfach übertroffen und bei vielen Punkten noch einen drauf gelegt. Danke, für die tollen Mitarbeiter, die uns den Abend unvergesslich gemacht haben. Sie hatten stets ein lächeln im Gesicht und man hat gesehen, dass es Ihnen wirklich Spaß gemacht hat. Einzigartiges Erlebnis! Fine Dining.

Es war eine sensationelle Eröffnung, Service war zwar leicht überfordert, aber ist normal am Anfang, Essens Qualität war top, wir hatten großen Spaß, ein großes Lob geht an die Liebe Nadja und Kellner Mustafa die waren immer da wenn man was gebraucht hat. Lokal definitiv eine Bereicherung für Gelsenkirchen. Lg J.R

Was für ein Opening! Uns freut das für’s M-One typische hochwertige und detailreiche Ambiente, leckere Cocktails und jetzt als Mosbacher’s auch noch tolles Essen! Das Publikum ist sehr angenehm, gute Beats machen den Abend vollkommen. Wir haben uns rundherum wohlgefühlt. Ein Gewinn für die Region - Glückauf und Daumen hoch wünschen Carsten & Valerie J.
