I was there for the first time today, and I absolutely loved it. The atmosphere was really good, and the service was very nice and friendly. Otherwise, the restaurant is beautifully decorated, and the food looked and tasted amazing. I highly recommend a visit.

A pleasant restaurant in Zwickau's city center with a selection of dishes from several Asian cultures and countries—from Japanese udon and Korean gyoza to Vietnamese vegetable stir-fries, you'll find everything here. The service was very attentive, and the food was mostly delicious. The selection of drinks is also highly recommended.

We were a group of four friends and managed to get a table spontaneously, even though it was very busy. It's generally quite cramped and louder than other restaurants. A paradise for sushi lovers, but more challenging for those who don't like fish or generally don't eat everything. But you usually know that beforehand. Truly delicious and highly recommended! 🙏🏻

The food and service were excellent, as always. Due to a change in staff, they forgot to include the dessert in the bill. There were three of us there this evening, with a reservation (!), and unfortunately, we had to leave because, even after 40 minutes, no waiter came to our table to even take our drink order, let alone our food order. Therefore, I can't recommend it!

We reserved a table for 7 p.m. and arrived at 7 p.m. on July 27th. We received our menus immediately, followed by 30 minutes of radio silence. No server even called to take our order. Outrageous and absolutely not recommended. A rip-off place.

The variety and quality of the ingredients are also top-notch: in addition to classic rolls, there are also vegetarian and vegan options. Prices range from around €20–30, which is absolutely fair considering the quality. For me, MoriMoto is a top recommendation for Japanese cuisine in Zwickau—stylish, delicious, and welcoming.

Contrary to the other reviews, we weren't that satisfied with the food. My fried sushi consisted of a mini roll sliced ​​as thinly as possible. It certainly wasn't filling for the money. We left the restaurant hungry. My friend had rice with vegetables and chicken, which tasted really bad. There was no seasoning or anything like that. It's a shame. We should be commended for getting a table on short notice without a reservation, and the service was friendly.

An absolutely great restaurant right in the center of Zwickau. Service incredibly good. Food was very good and brought to the table very quickly. Partly fully booked and during the week. A mega menu and a huge selection of the best Japanese cuisine. Would absolutely come back at any time and eat here again at any time. The only thing that could be criticized negatively is the prices, €45 per person with tip, which is very steep and even though it's in the center, it's not nice to look at from the outside. The inside is super nice but the seating outside is not so nice. Conclusion: a wonderful restaurant and I can only recommend it. Arigato for this great experience.

There's always a lot going on here, the dining room is quite large and there are lots of tables. For me that is the only point of criticism. This makes it quite loud and a bit uncomfortable. On weekends it is advisable to reserve a table in advance.

If you sit right at the front of the door you'll freeze to death on cold days and you'll get incoming guests all the time. The tables are far too small and everything is very narrow. Then it's better to take it with you.

Four of us came very hungry and ordered a set for 130 euros, which was supposedly enough for 5-6 people. But what we got was suitable for a maximum of 3-4 people. We didn't get full at all and it's unclear to us what we paid so much for. The waiters reacted very inappropriately to our feedback that the sushi tasted good but was far too little. First a waiter came, then another and said that we should simply order more if we weren't full - that was our problem after all. The set for 2-3 people includes 64 sushi and costs 65 euros. But in the set for 5-6 people we counted only 75 sushi, and the set costs 130 euros. Even the sashimi was only represented by four pieces, as if the chef had been instructed to limit the set to four people. We were very disappointed. Our request to add more tempura and Philadelphia sushi was not addressed. They also didn't ask about allergies or vegetarian preferences - you could ignore that. The staff, both waiters and the chef, treated us like idiots and insisted that the set was for 5-6 people and was suitable as a "chef's gift" for people who had never tried sushi before - hence it so small. We were told that we had to communicate our preferences to the waiter in advance, even though we had asked for his assistance before ordering and afterward - but our requests were ignored. The manager kept repeating the same thing and didn't really want to listen to us. She interrupted us and said that it was our problem that we weren't full and that the chef or waiter, as human beings, can make mistakes. We told her several times that it wasn't our problem. Our bill for four people with drinks was 162 euros - that's not a small amount. We came in a good mood and wanted to eat tasty and plentiful food, so we ordered a set for 5-6 people, but unfortunately we didn't get that. Customer satisfaction doesn't seem to be a priority here. We will never visit this restaurant again and cannot recommend it to anyone! “Already at the door we were offered to take two roles with us – to be honest, an absolute circus. But thank you for that too.”

We were allowed to leave the restaurant, we went to the boss and complained again, explained our problem to her for about 5 minutes, at the end she offered us a few rolls to take away, when you come, it's better not to order a set, but just sushi, because that might not be enough, the food is very tasty. Great sushi but upscale prices and limited time We have reserved a table at Mori Moto in Zwickau, which is absolutely necessary at the moment, otherwise it is difficult to get a place. The reservation was uncomplicated and even a subsequent change was accepted without any problems. The service was extremely friendly and attentive, which made the visit pleasant from the start. What was particularly impressive was the opportunity to watch the four sushi chefs at work while we waited for our sushi. We ordered a sushi platter for four people and simply expressed the wish that we would like more fried sushi. The result was excellent, and although it took some time to prepare, the waiting time was absolutely commensurate with the quality. However, despite the good portions, we weren't completely full, which may be due to the smaller quantities. However, this had the advantage that we still had room for dessert. In terms of price, the Mori Moto is in the upper segment. There is also a set period of time in which you have to clear the table because the next guests have already been scheduled. This took away a bit of the relaxed character of our experience. It was also very loud in the dining room, which made the atmosphere a bit uncomfortable and spoiled the experience a little. Overall a great experience, but there are small drawbacks due to the price, the limited time at the table and the noise in the dining room.
