M’Oregano in Ochtrup

Wir waren heute hier essen und hatten einen wirklich schönen Abend. Das Essen war sehr lecker, die Portionen großzügig und alles frisch zubereitet. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den freundlichen und aufmerksamen Service. Eine sehr nette Überraschung war, dass uns die Vorspeise aufs Haus ging, da wir über dem Restaurant wohnen. Diese Geste haben wir sehr geschätzt. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft!

Vor einem halben Jahr noch 5 Sterne, mittlerweile nur noch 3. Das Essen ist immer noch super lecker, aber der Service hat sich stark verschlechtert. Man wartet mittlerweile selten unter einer Stunde auf sein Essen, egal wie voll der Laden ist und auf die Getränke wartet man oft auch eine halbe Stunde. Vor einigen Monaten war das noch nicht der Fall und das ist sehr schade. Das Personal steht oft an der Getränketheke und Quatsch, während man auf seine Getränke warten muss. Schade finde ich auch, dass die Werbung und der Content auf Social Media mittlerweile mit KI gemacht wird.

Sehr guuut :D Die Auswahl der verschiedenen Gerichte ist wirklich großartig Auch Gerichte die man nicht oft sieht. War wirklich sehr lecker. Die Preise sind wirklich super für das was man bekommt. Der Service ist sehr gut und nett Aufjedenfall wieder!

Essen nicht frisch, viele Fertigprodukte. Auf Anfragen fürs Catering gab es auch nur Vertröstungen, keine Zuverlässigkeit und leider auch sehr unfreundlich.

Leider weder authentisch noch wirklich frische Zutaten. Ambiente ist dagegen sehr schön & das Personal sehr freundlich. Wir hatten Wraps (frische Pita gibt es nicht?). Diese waren zu 15% mit Pommes, einer halben Tomate, einem Radieschen, ein bisschen saure Gurke und ansonsten Falafel bzw Swarma gefüllt. Eine Soße (Tahini) war darüber gesprinkelt. Der auf der Karte für das Gericht erwähnte Hummus war nicht zu finden. Die Falafel waren innen gelb/braun (Fertigmischung ohne frische Zutaten, dann werden die so) und nicht tief grün, wie bei echten Falafel mit frischen Zutaten der Fall. Die Pommes waren auch nicht echt aus der Kartoffel, sondern Tiefkühlpommes mit Pommesgewürz und stark versalzen. Insgesamt Dönerbudenqualität. Wir sind ein großer Fan von qualitativ hochwertigem, libanesischen Essen - hier wird man das aber nicht bekommen. Wir kommen leider nicht wieder.

Heute nach Feierabend mit einem Kollegen spontan ins M’Oregano gegangen und es war perfekt. Das Essen war sehr lecker, man hat gemerkt dass hier mit Liebe gekocht wird. Der Service war richtig freundlich und aufmerksam und man hat sich nie warten lassen. Schöne Atmosphäre, angenehmer Abend. Kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Weil wir noch nicht vertraut waren, mit der Küche, haben Tipps für die Bestellung erhalten. Es schmeckte interessant anders für uns, aber war sehr lecker! Wir waren daher sehr zufrieden und kommen wieder, wenn wir in der Gegend sind.

We had a delicious starter and main course. Very good quality and delicious. The portions were also generous. Highly recommended. And any leftovers are available in containers to take home. The welcome and service were extremely friendly. It was full, though, and therefore a bit noisy. Therefore, it's a good idea to reserve a table in advance.

It's like stepping into another world here. The food is a delightful surprise. It was something completely different. We'll definitely be back. We haven't had such wonderful food in ages. Oriental, flavorful, and delicious. We had a platter for two. And the service was fantastic! Oh, and the tea with fresh mint – amazing! The waitress was excellent. Keep up the great work! A thoroughly enjoyable restaurant experience. The Levantine cuisine delighted me with its flavors – the dishes were aromatic, fresh, and perfectly balanced. The exceptionally attentive and friendly staff deserves special mention; they created a pleasant atmosphere without being intrusive. The visit was rounded off by a beautiful, inviting ambiance that encouraged lingering. I will gladly return and wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

Last night was a truly special experience. The three of us each had a single dish and a mezze for two. Without a doubt, the food was the best we've had in a long time. The quality of the dishes and the successful combinations, especially in the mezze, were simply outstanding. The whole experience also shines thanks to the wonderful atmosphere and the incredibly friendly and attentive staff. It's those little, wonderful moments when the mezze is explained in detail and not just placed on the table with a "figure it out" attitude. We are absolutely thrilled and can wholeheartedly recommend the diverse Levantine cuisine offered here. Thank you to the team at M'Oregano for this fantastic experience!

The staff is always very friendly and the atmosphere pleasant, and the food has always been delicious. However, I find it a shame that the portions are getting smaller with each visit. Furthermore, many main courses are now served on small, tall plates, and the stacking of the components makes the presentation somewhat impractical and less appealing than before. Overall, though, it remains a good restaurant with very friendly service.

The food is very tasty. Regarding the service, I understand it's busy and can be overwhelming, but they didn't immediately give us our menu so we could at least look at what we wanted to eat. They apologized! When we wanted to pay, we waited a long time again. But they were nice, so we're not giving them a lower rating.

We were here for the first time today. The welcome was super warm, the service was super friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy. We shared the mezze so we could try a lot. Everything was very, very delicious. We'll definitely be back. We'd happily recommend you.

We received a very friendly welcome, and I thought to myself: WOW, this is going to be great. The starter was of decent quality, even if not quite to my taste. The main course, unfortunately, was a complete no-no: A friend received her food about 10 minutes after the others – after asking, of course. "It took longer in the oven," she said. My meal (beef shawarma) was cooked very well, which is a no-go for me when it comes to beef. It was also very gristly, and I only ate the fries. Two other friends complained that the chicken was very dry. We asked both servers about it, and they were rather surprised that I didn't want to take the rest. We still paid the full price, and the food and drinks there aren't cheap.

We were here for the first time today. We received a super friendly welcome and had a very cozy atmosphere. The young waiter was very friendly and attentive despite being very busy. We shared mezze and various dishes, so we were able to try a lot. All six of us were very satisfied and will definitely be back.

We were there for a birthday dinner on a Saturday evening. It was our first visit. The great reviews and Instagram pictures had convinced us. A quick heads-up: The food was good, although we would have preferred a bit more vegetables in the shawarma instead of the meat in the bag. But otherwise, everything was delicious. Unfortunately, we had bad luck with the service that evening, which somewhat dampened our first impression. It took us half an hour to get there and we were all thirsty. But by the time we could order drinks and they arrived, at least 30 minutes had passed. Even the appetizers came faster. Then, at some point, the main courses arrived, and the appetizer plates hadn't even been cleared away. It was a bit chaotic. For dessert, the espressos came first, and the tiramisu came so much later that our coffee cups were empty long ago, and we weren't even in the mood for dessert anymore. We also often had the feeling that our table near the counter was simply ignored. The service staff were attentive, and it's hard to find staff. However, the very long wait times and the somewhat disorganized atmosphere unfortunately meant our birthday dinner wasn't that great or relaxed. If the service were more well-coordinated, we would give the restaurant another chance.

As always, we had a wonderful evening in a cozy atmosphere. Top-notch service and delicious food make us want to come back!

We were a little overwhelmed at first by the unfamiliar dishes on the menu, but the very friendly staff quickly helped us out. So, the four of us had a small selection of oriental dishes with various dips. It was a wonderful new taste experience for us. We'll definitely be back.

Food was good but only arrived 90 minutes after placing the order even though we were one of the first to order. It was really stupid when I was fasting. When I asked, they always said it would come straight away and in the end they said it was on purpose so that people would focus more on the main course. So it's complete nonsense

This restaurant is really recommended.

My husband and I were there in January and were seated at a very stupid table by the door where it was really drafty. We saw that other tables for two were still free and asked if we could sit somewhere else. Unfortunately no. Afterwards we noticed that other couples who came in without a reservation were seated at the other tables and we had reserved. Oh well. The food was really good and that's why we went back yesterday with another couple. First of all it took a long time until we were asked what we wanted to drink and then we ordered the food straight away. Then it took over half an hour until we got our drinks. And over another hour later the food wasn't there either. We were totally ignored the whole time. At some point we asked from a distance how long it would take and we were shouted "coming soon". Didn't even come to the table and apologized for the long wait. Just ignored. At some point we noticed that people who had arrived a long way after us had gotten their food and then we put the money for the drinks on the table and left. The store will never see us again.

The two of us had dinner at M'Oregano last night. We reserved a week in advance and said we didn't want a seat right at the door. When we got there, we were given a seat right by the door. We noticed that there were no other tables for two available right at the entrance and asked the waiters if we could get another table because our feet were pulling when the door opened. This was denied after clarification. To make up for it, they offered us a teapot. In between, more and more new guests came in (some without reservations) and were allowed to choose a seat, none of which was at the entrance. About the food: The food we ordered came after the food of other guests who ordered far after us. Funny… It was only when we cleared it that we asked whether it was tasty. Usually the waiters come in between times and ask. A little unprofessional... But the food itself was very tasty!! It's a shame the service wasn't that good, the store itself was really cool.

The food was delicious, although my cheeseburger and fries weren't enough and I always thought I didn't eat such large portions. On the other hand, the wraps were mega-large portions. We had to wait a long time for drinks and empty bottles are only taken away upon request

Levantine cuisine is considered the most aromatic food in the world. We were very excited. We were able to convince ourselves of this at M’Oregano. In short: an incredibly enjoyable experience. And by the way, the staff is very friendly with a very courteous service. We'll be back!

The food is 10/10 super tasty and something different. Drink service is sometimes a bit slow.

We would like to talk to M'Oregano about possible catering for a celebration. During our first phone call, the boss told us that we should please write a message on WhatsApp and that he would get in touch the following day because there was a lot going on at the moment. Basically, they really want to work together. Of course that wasn't a problem and we wrote the message straight away. The next day no one contacted us, two days later we wrote again on WhatsApp asking whether they would get in touch again. No answer to this, we called again. Unfortunately, I forgot about it, but I will definitely be in touch tomorrow morning and discuss everything in peace. Nobody contacted us until the afternoon. When we asked again, we were put off and the boss would get in touch today. That didn't happen again. Now, a week later, we have decided that we will no longer take part in the back and forth. There was no reply to our message that we found the way it was done a shame. A very unpleasant and time-consuming experience.

The welcome was very warm from start to finish. To our surprise, there was a super sweet appetizer platter with various delicious dips. As main courses we had cheeseburgers & meatballs (?) and we were really impressed by the spices, the arrangement, quantity, taste etc. The restaurant is very lovingly decorated and overall we were completely satisfied.

We went to m'oregano for the first time this evening. We made a reservation via Instagram. A reservation is definitely recommended. We each had a starter and a main course. The starters immediately made you hungry for more, they were super tasty. The main courses topped that again. Everything was super fresh, super seasoned and nicely presented. We are super excited and will definitely come back and recommend it to others. We then had to pay EUR 59.00 for two starters, two main courses and four drinks. Very fair price.
