We go there at least once a month. The food is absolutely delicious and the staff is incredibly friendly! The best croque in all of Hamburg! Keep up the good work!

I love the shop; whenever I'm visiting the city from Berlin, I always go to Bres. You always feel welcome, whether there are two or 50 people there. The croques are incredibly delicious, and the crêpes are amazing. Simply a crêpe with Maxi King 🤯

The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We shared a large Croque Monsieur and a large Croque Alfons; we were very satisfied with both and were quite filling. Croques are available in small sizes starting at €5.50 and large sizes starting at €10. There's also a selection of different coffees and sweet crêpes, but we didn't try them. We paid €21 without drinks. Unfortunately, card payments are NOT accepted; this could be improved. There are only a few seats inside, but it's comfortable enough. There are additional, sunny seats outside. The service is really excellent! Super friendly and accommodating. We noticed how other guests' problems were addressed in a very friendly and solution-oriented manner. Some could learn a thing or two from this place. We would be happy to come back here on our next trip.

Hey, we visited Alfons yesterday and were more than impressed. It was our first time there and we'll definitely be back. I'm always very skeptical about croques, but I've never eaten such a delicious croque. It was very generously topped, the size was just right, simply fantastic. 11 out of 10! Dessert was also simply amazing; we ordered a crêpe with a Maxi King, and it was simply amazing and beautifully presented on the plate. The price/performance ratio is simply unbeatable! An absolute insider tip! SUPER atmosphere, amazing baguettes, and everything! Nothing needs to be said! Highly recommended! And definitely try the garlic sauce!!!

I was there with my daughter today and received a relaxed and warm welcome. They even made a special request. We sat outside, which was really pleasant. The croque was delicious; you can tell it's made with quality ingredients, especially lots of vegetables, fatty cheese, and thick meat :)))) with a delicious sauce! Every single employee was super friendly. Prices are reasonable. We'll be happy to come back, thank you.

Completely shrill, we wandered hungry through the late evening and came across this oasis of delicious panini, that's how I would describe it. Of course the thing is called something different. A real freshly prepared and completely unexpected culinary delight, at a late hour. Any time. We wanted to go again in the morning, but the early return journey home got in our way. I would go there again in a heartbeat if I was in Hamburg again. That even rhymes😅

We visited Monsieur Alfons and were absolutely thrilled! We tried both croques and crepes – and what can I say? Simply brilliant! The croques were perfectly crispy, lovingly topped and incredibly tasty.

Waiting times are definitely long on weekends. You have to wait between 35-45 minutes for a croque. The good thing is that when you order, you will be told your approximate waiting time. The service is good. You can choose between several different sauces (you can use all sauces if you want) and you can also say for yourself what kind of salad you want on the croque and what you don't. Unfortunately, pineapple was forgotten on my croque. I could have gotten a new one. However, after such a long wait, I didn't feel like waiting again. The tables are cleaned regularly and the napkins on the tables are replenished.

One star is still too many. Ordered online. The delivery didn't arrive, even though I paid. The tracking information says it was delivered, which is incorrect. No help in clarifying the incident or offering a replacement. I'll never order from them online again.

The store was set up in a cool way and the staff was really friendly and passionate. Picking up the croques at the counter after calling out the name given when ordering also had its charm. Price/performance ratio was okay. Simple and yet well kept, the kitchen rolls are on the respective places for eating. (We found it really good and suitable) We had the garlic sauce on our croque's - it could have had a little more oomph (stronger). The croque itself was very crispy and fresh. We would visit the store again

The croques were delicious again today!! What was noticeable negatively was that the cloth behind the counter was used and then the croques were continued without changing the glove!!!! One of the best sandwich spots in Hamburg! The quality is outstanding—fresh ingredients, great flavors, and perfectly made sandwiches. But what really makes this place special is the staff. They are incredibly friendly, passionate about what they do, and create such a welcoming atmosphere. You can tell they genuinely care about their food and their customers. Highly recommended!

We were there with our dog and were asked to go outside as dogs are not allowed here. There is no sign on the door saying dogs are not allowed. Therefore only 3 stars. The food is always good and the staff is quite friendly if you show up without a dog.

It can't be that the shop doesn't offer delivery every day. It feels like €20 for a croque but isn't even able to deliver.

Super tasty dishes, great selection. The owners and staff are always in a good mood and always well attended. If you don't want to wait long, simply order by phone in advance and it will be ready when you want to pick it up. The prices are okay. It's always fresh, and if you have special requests, they'll try to make it. You can't make Croqu's any better. Actually, there should be other branches of it so that many other hamburgers can also enjoy it. In any case, the journey is worth it. There's only one thing you can say: Guys, please keep it up.

Delicious food with snack bar character. It was super crowded and the food was still available relatively quickly. More of a functional place to quickly grab something to eat on the way. It doesn't always have to be kebab :)

It's small and super cozy. In my life I have already tried out a wide variety of stores all over Germany. Here you are immediately warmly welcomed and there are no wishes that are not fulfilled. A wonderful, family-run business. Guys just keep it up.

Ate something good for the first time in Hamburg. I was really disappointed with Hamburg so far. Compared to the DB training, it's very inconspicuous and just comes in for lunch. Ordered a Sucuk Croque and the taste was simply fantastic. My taste buds were able to smile again after days of bad food. Thank you Mister Alfonso for your delicious and inexpensive food. If I have seminars in Hamburg again, I will always come here for lunch.

Phenomenal! I came especially from Lower Bavaria to eat a croque here. And it was worth every km. Incredibly delicious, the toasted cheese melts into the bun to create a melange of crispy, but not dry, dough crunch. It is supplemented with a variety of different ingredients, which you can easily see on the large menu. Since everything is freshly prepared, there may be waiting times. I had to wait 15 minutes, but that wasn't a problem after the 8 hour journey.

Vacation in Hamburg was worth it
