Very tasty Indian food. The atmosphere is more like an American dinner and there are also burgers and schnitzel, but we opted for the back of the menu. Great selection and the (Indian) colleague who was with me also thought the food was very good. Discovered by chance.

Ordered there, admittedly a little late, but still within opening hours. After waiting for an hour we called, the staff was extremely unfriendly and almost insulted us and even threatened us. Of course the food didn't come and we definitely won't be ordering there anymore.

I ordered food from this restaurant via Lieferando on November 17th, 2024. It was 10:56 p.m., the order was accepted and I waited over an hour for the food, and then called there to be told by the gentleman on the phone that my €38 Order no longer arrives... Then I wanted my money back and he started threatening me over the phone that he had my address and was coming over to punch me in the face... In that case I will never order from this store again, and I would I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who wants to be treated like a human!!!

Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience. When we made the reservation we were told that we had to bring cash with us as card payments were not possible. Given the high prices, we expected at least good food - but the opposite was the case. The food was overpriced and of poor quality. When it came to dessert, the waitress informed us that it came from a bag and was not homemade - unfortunately that's exactly how it tasted. Overall, everything was inedible and not recommended. One star is actually too many.

Interesting restaurant with an American touch, with Indian leadership and international cuisine. The restaurant is located in an industrial area directly opposite the Hotel Sleep ONE and the Jump'n Fly, Tiggolino and Schwarzlicht Minigolf event halls.

Discovered by chance when we had an overnight stay at the Hotel Sleep(be)One in Frankfurt. The diner is right next to the hotel. Very good service. The atmosphere was really cool and our food was delicious. You have the choice between American and Indian. If we are in the area again we would be happy to come back.

Solo female traveller - place dosnt accept card and the worker wanted me to go with an employee to an atm alone at night to pay, eventually ended up paying online. Food was also terrible, dont eat here

We got off the highway to take a long meal break. The food was delicious, the service was very nice and attentive and the ambience was okay too. A bit too dark for my taste and the smell (and the offering) of Indian food in an American diner was a bit strange. The diner and the toilets were clean, but if you took a quick look into the kitchen/laundry room you weren't sure whether things would be just as clean there. Unfortunately, parking spaces are also rare.

1/5 Stars - Disappointing Experience I'm extremely disappointed with my recent visit there. The burgers we ordered were inedible, with old vegetables that caused stomach issues afterwards. This is a far cry from the good old days, a couple of years ago, when they served up classic American fare that actually tasted good. What's even more confusing is that they've added an Indian menu to an American diner. It's like they've lost their identity and are trying to be everything to everyone. Unfortunately, it seems like they're not doing anything well. Needless to say, I won't be returning back anytime soon. If you're looking for a decent burger and a reliable dining experience, I'd recommend looking elsewhere.

After our vacation, we spontaneously looked for a restaurant and found this one. Unfortunately, the first impression from the outside is not very appealing - you should invest a little time and money as soon as possible. But if you don't let this put you off, you will be pleasantly surprised both culinary and personally. I or we would go there again at any time, but unfortunately we have a journey of around 375 km.

Sometimes you're amazed at the hidden places where you can get good food. The Monkey Diner really doesn't look good, but the mix of Indian and American cuisine is very well done. The kitchen has both directions very well under control. We were just as surprised by the Indian dishes as we were by the burgers. The whole thing in an industrial area that doesn't seem very inviting.

We landed here by chance on the way back from the airport and were pleasantly surprised because there is very, very good Indian cuisine here!!! Here the boss personally cooks original and traditional fresh and extraordinarily tasty dishes! Absolute insider tip! The burgers and schnitzels are also very good. The junior manager served us in a friendly and courteous manner. Highly recommended!

This restaurant doesn’t accept Mastercard which is ridiculous. I had to go in a car with one of the staff to get cash from an ATM leaving my teenagers behind. I was also charged €6.50 for a bottle of tap water. Avoid this place

Went here for dinner with the grandchildren after visiting the trampoline park. The boys had burgers and I had Indian...the food was simply delicious and I really regret that I live 300km away...otherwise this would have definitely become my new favorite restaurant. The service was exceptionally courteous.

It looks American, but it's a lovely fusion of India, Germany and America with all the signature dishes and some more specialised dishes. My Butter chicken was one of the best I've ever had, my Mother in law really liked her first schnitzel and my son and husband had very nice ribs and buffalo wings. Just make sure you bring cash since they don't accept cards.

If there was a rate less than 0, I woud have chosen it. I made an order via lieferando. Later, I received an email that the order was cancelled. When I called the restaurant, I did not understand totally the man. I asked for more clarification but he hung up the phone on me!!! I tried for 2 more times and it was the same attitude!!! Last time I called and waited for him to apologise or something but instead he sweared at me and hung up the phone!!!!

I had lunch here today with my son after we went to the trampoline park. We both really enjoyed it, the price/performance ratio was right and it was super quick!

The food wasn't bad at all, although the spareribs still had silver skin on them and the chocolate milkshake we ordered turned out to be just plain cocoa. The atmosphere was really cool and we really liked it. The two service guys were also really great. However, what didn't work for us at all and was also an absolute knockout criterion was a farting employee who didn't even apologize for it and, minutes later, bluntly let his flatulence run wild again while the guests were eating next to them. It's a shame, but that's why only 1 star

Menu offers far too much choice! Garlic fries are very good. Burger was very tasty, tasted exactly right. It could have just been a little hotter, but everyone feels differently. Schnitzels were good. Portions were large. We will be back.

The restaurant not only offers delicious dishes, but also a wonderful atmosphere. The extensive menu leaves nothing to be desired and the food is really diverse and delicious. It is noticeable that the restaurant is run by a warm family team, as the entire staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. All in all we had an excellent stay and would highly recommend this restaurant. We had absolutely nothing to complain about!

There is a wide variety of food and the food is good too. But everything doesn't feel so clean. Visually everything looks old. You don't get the feeling of being in an American diner.

The burgers are not good. The meat has tons of cartilage and doesn't taste great. The Indian food is ok. You should be prepared for long waiting times, whether at the diner or via delivery.

Honestly one of the worst places I've ever eaten in. Eternal waiting time, mediocre food, hardly any attention from the waiters. Once, never again.

Well... somehow I had read something about "American dinner"... But actually it is a fast food snack like there are thousands of them. Every type and nationality of food on the menu but unfortunately nothing special or good.

Tried the Indian dishes for the first time today. Were great. There seem to be good burgers too. Looked very good on the neighboring tables.

It was our first time eating there again since the shop was run by new owners (two years now). I had registered a larger group of 17 people a week in advance and communicated the exact group size again the day before the reservation. We were assured of the gallery on the phone. When we got there nothing was prepared. The tables did not have menus or cutlery. The order was recorded traditionally with paper and pen. After the starters were served and eaten, we waited. And waited. After more than an hour we asked when the main course, which mainly consisted of burgers, would be served. The food arrived very slowly after another 10 minutes. When the last person in our group was finally served his burger, quite a few people had already finished their meal. Note that we were the only ones in the store except for six other guests. At the end we ordered 3 tequilas as the rest had to drive. Only after we asked and explained were we given the salt and lemons. Payment didn't go smoothly either. We paid individually and my partner and I were informed that we could only pay in cash because the EC machine wasn't working. Our order was added up using a calculator. Only when we asked for a receipt was it entered into the tablet and the EC device then worked. Regarding the interior design, I would like to mention that everything, and I mean everything, looks exactly the same as it did when it opened about 10 years ago. I was able to admire the sequin-covered bottles on the refrigerator during my first visit to the first owner. The fact that the ambience was retained is very nice. The style of the diner is great. Unfortunately, the fabric furniture is no longer that clean after all these years and the dust is probably seen as decoration. The meal was okay. The spare ribs advertised on the menu as "falling off the bone" tasted okay, but weren't what you'd expect. The burgers were probably pretty good. The curly fries were very tasty. These are my honest words and I wouldn't have spent the evening there with my friends if I had known beforehand how it would be. Very unfortunate. Our group will not see the store again in the future.

We had dinner there with Indian friends. We all enjoyed the food very much. Both the burgers and the Indian dishes were very tasty. The meat was already tender and well seasoned. The service was also very friendly. We'd love to come back.

Food was OUTSTANDING! Had the curry. Their card machine wasn't working (should've said that before we ordered) lucky for them I had enough cash for everyone with me. Else wise....... they would've been butt (they wouldn't post it with the "A" word 🙄) out! 🤷

Food was ok so far. Unfortunately it took about 1 1/2 hours from ordering to receiving food. We were there with a group of 12 people. The first ones were almost finished eating then the last ones just got their food. Very bad timing. Very much in need of improvement

I ordered via Lieferando so no review of the interior design, but if I had sent a city map directly with me the food might have even arrived warm, but that's understandable in the digital age!! The food itself...well I was hungry!

We were already there, picked up and now finally, and for the last time, ordered. Two stars based on previous experiences, which were okay to good. The fries were completely soft and soggy because the packaging doesn't fit and collects condensation. So crisp it up in the pan while we get started on the burgers. When we repeatedly bit on cartilage and then I pulled a small piece of bone or cartilage out of the meat, it was over. That is not how it works. Since we didn't finish the meal, I wouldn't give it a star today. A pity

Nice and clean atmosphere. Friendly service. Very large selection of dishes. We enjoyed it excellently. We were just passing through, but we will be there again on the same occasion. A visit there is always worth it.

I ordered delivery, when it arrived I asked if there was cutlery and was told yes, to discover later no cutlery had been provided. As someone from out of town how am I supposed to eat the food? Secondly, the food was very expensive for what was served and was mediocre at best. Both dishes were under salted and had minimal flavour. I’m confused by the reviews here because this was a terrible experience, they charged so much and gave me such terrible food and don’t even give cutlery and lied about it when I asked if they had.

We celebrated our little girl’s birthday in Tiggolino kinderspielparadise and ordered food from Monkey Diner. All our guests absolutely loved the food. The service was excellent and food was packed in a box that kept it warm all the time. Also, I highly recommend their yellow tadka dal and butter chicken. Best I have had so far in Germany. ❤️

Essen an sich ist gut, steak war medium bestellt aber war eher irgendwas zwischen medium well und well done. Preise fallen normal aus, teils aber etwas teuer. Bedienung ist jung und recht nett. Toiletten sehen ok aus waren aber nicht gesäubert(wir waren kurz nach öffnung dort).Ambiente sieht sehr schön aus.

Nett eingerichteter Diner. Essen wurde recht zügig serviert. Sehr leckere Burger und knackige Süßkartoffelpommes.

Für Veganer: passt auf, einige Gerichte sind als vegan markiert, sind es aber eigentlich gar nicht (zB die Saucen, Halloumi, etc). Der Kellner war durch eine Nachfrage schon gereizt und wusste auch nicht genau, was wo drin ist. Für alle anderen: schöne Atmosphäre und lecker

Wir waren zum ersten mal dort hatten Reserviert das Buchungsportal ist etwas schwierig man konnte nur zwischen 2-4 Personen auswählen. Wir waren aber 4 Erwachsene und 1 Kind. Habe dann halt für 4 Reserviert war aber bei Ankunft kein Problem es war auch nur ein weiterer Tisch besetzt. Bedienung war nett und freundlich trotz leichter Sprachprobleme wurde aber alles richtig an den Tisch gebracht. Die Preise sind OK und es gibt auch eine große Auswahl an Indischen und Amerikanischem Essen. Das einzige negative war die Parksituation und es sah rund ums Gebäude etwas zu sehr nach Baustelle aus. Etwas Grünpflege und ein paar schöne Topfpflanzen am Eingang fehlt. Stattdessen sah man Mülltonnen und Baumaterial.

Sehr leckeren Cheeseburger gegessen, herzhaft gewürzt. Nette und zuvorkommender Service. Durch den hinter dem Diner liegenden Indoor- Spielplatz jedoch ein hoher Geräuschpegel, deshalb nur 2 Punkte für das Ambiente.

Alles super, weiter zu empfehlen. Die Portionen sprich Burger, sind groß, aber lecker

An outstanding experience! As a travelling Canadian, I just forgot that there are places where credit cards are not accepted, especially in Germany. While being stressed, trying to find an ATM near-by, the kind owner, offered to drive my entire family to bank close-by and back to the hotel. Kids loved the food and experience, and I had to enjoy the same while in hotel room, when my schnitzel was still warm. Thanks a ton!

Leider sehr enttäuschend. Haben mehrere Male bestellt und waren eigentlich überwiegend zufrieden. Seit einiger Zeit werden die Lieferzeiten deutlich überschritten. Heute wurden wir aber in größtem Maße enttäuscht. Unsere Bestellung für 6 Menschen sollte bis zu 65 Minuten bis zur Auslieferung benötigen. Der Lieferzeitpunkt wurde zwischenzeitlich auf 80 Minuten hochgesetzt. Als nach 1,5 Stunden die Lieferung immer noch nicht erfolgte, riefen wir an um nachzufragen, wie lange es noch dauert. Daraufhin wurden wir vertröstet. Das Essen sei in 10 Minuten da. Nach 20 Minuten erfolgte die erneute Nachfrage, mit gleicher Antwort. Wir fragten natürlich erneut nach. Wurden am Telefon mehrfach belogen und auch ausgelacht. Kein Entgegenkommen, keine Kulanz und am Ende nach den Worten einer verantwortlichen Person: "Wollen Sie diskutieren oder einfach warten!" hielt sich die Freude auf das Abendessen dann doch deutlich in Grenzen. Servicetechnisch unterste Schiene. Das Essen kam dann nichtmal vollständig an. Ich bin kein Mensch, der gerne kritisiert und es wäre auch völlig in Ordnung gewesen, wenn ehrlich geantwortet worden wäre, dass viel los sein könnte und das Essen noch nicht zubereitet. Zu lügen, abfällig zu reagieren und einfach aufzulegen ist jedoch eine Art des Service, die mich dazu bringt das Monkey Diner nicht zu empfehlen. De retour d’un voyage en avions ✈️, à quelques kilomètres de notre hôtel un endroit agréable avec une magnifique décoration . Très surprise à la première bouchée, une viande très tendre , un repas plus que parfait , service très rapide , personne adorable et très souriante malgré notre difficulté à parler l’anglais et l’allemand. Je vous conseils se restaurant les yeux fermés. Merci pour tout et à bientôt 😻

What a find!! Great samosa and then two veggie burgers , one tofu w avocado and the other a veggie pattie w BBQ sauce. Coming from NYC this was superb and the friendliest owners. India meets NYC style diner with great ambience. Service was superb.

Super lecker egal ob die indischen oder amerikanischen Gerichte. Haben schon einiges ausprobiert. Lieferungszeit angemessen. Unkomplizierte Bestellung übers Handy. Toll eingerichtete Lokation und sehr gemütlich.
