We have been eating out for years now and then, it has survived several owners and it is always good to our satisfaction 👍

Unfortunately there isn't that much choice, otherwise everything is ok. Clean, fresh and prices ok too

Little choice and very greasy. Almost no dessert and that at 12:00 p.m. My partner and I had severe stomach cramps and diarrhea afterwards.

You can eat almost anything you want here and as much as you want and can.

We were here again today after a long, long time. The food was very good. The selection at the buffet was plentiful. Everything fresh and warm. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. You can come and eat from 11:30 a.m. We'd love to come back.

We had reserved a table for 4 people on New Year's Eve for 7:30 p.m. Everything was well organized. We were brought to Andes table and the order was taken. We were able to help ourselves to the buffet afterwards. Everything was so delicious. We were very satisfied and well fed. It was worth it and we will come back.

Of all the Chinese buffet restaurants in the area, Mongels offers the highest quality food. The ambience is stylish and thematically matches the food on offer. The staff are consistently friendly and accommodating. Anyone who is willing to pay a fair price for good food will get their money's worth here.

Food good, service good, the toilets need an overhaul.

For the first time today, all in all it was delicious. Just a few things are roughly chopped, but that doesn't get in the way of the taste. We were at peace.

Very cozy atmosphere, child friendly. I would have liked some vegetarian alternatives like tofu or seitan.

Towards the evening the food was very old and dried out in places, we paid a total of 21 euros for 3 large lychee juices, unfortunately we won't be coming back.

Tastes great! €35 all inclusive including drinks. Chilled drinks, beer, wine. You can also have the fresh ingredients prepared and the finished dishes all taste very good. Sushi is freshly prepared and provided chilled. Everything was great... now that I think about it, I probably have to go back there 🤣

We were there for the evening buffet. Some of the food was cold (vegetables, spring rolls) I couldn't eat the salmon that you can have fried. It didn't taste fresh and was pretty burnt, we definitely won't be coming back.

Good value for money, we paid €35 ​​for two people with a drink at the lunch buffet. Service friendly but not a nice personal conversation. Selection at the buffet was moderate but okay. The ambience has something of a hall, it's fine at the small table. The rooms on the 2nd floor dictate this. Toilets not very modern. All in all, we would eat lunch here again.

October 5, 2024 Update 2 In the last five months we have eaten at Mongol more often and we think that the criticism regarding the sushi has been accepted and improved 👍 The variations and quality have definitely increased. The sushi is fresh and tasty 👍 The regular buffet and live grill are still top. We also have nothing to complain about with the salad bar and dessert. It just works for us, which is why we are happy to award the fifth star ☺️ ___ April 2024 Update 1 Answer: I would be happy to answer the question. In my opinion, two points need to be improved for the fifth star. 1. The sushi. This is really just “standard fare”. Of course, I don't expect the same quality from an all-you-can-eat restaurant as from a pure sushi restaurant, but it must be possible to stand out from the crowd. It feels like everyone here always offers the same thing. 2. The ambience, and for me that includes the music ambience, could be more harmonious. There are really nice atmospheric Asian sounds that you could run. I can't swear that this won't be done. But I didn't notice anything like that during our visit. But that's about it. ___ If you are in Mühlheim Kärlich and are hungry for Chinese, then the Mongol Restaurant is the first choice! Delicious selection of food. With “live cooking” you get beautifully prepared food that is not fried to death. Great service and moderate prices round off the good overall impression! Save your money on all the Asian competition there is around there. When it comes to taste, no one comes close to Mongolian!

Ist nicht zu empfehlen Bedienung sehr unfreundlich wollte mir vorschreiben das ich nichts von der Karte bestellen darf (wäre für mich zu teuer)sondern nur vom Buffet . Getränke kämmen erst zum Ende des Essens.......schade hätte mir mehr erhofft , Curry-Suppe wären die Garnelen noch mit Schale 🐚

We had buffet. All in all pretty good, but I've had better Asian food. The service was quite good, but didn't look at you and probably couldn't even smile. Otherwise the toilets were also very clean.

I come here very often to eat with my family. But after I was able to watch a dog sitting on the chair at the next table and being fed at the table, I lost my appetite. After we asked the staff about it when paying, they explained to me that animals are welcome here and that it is probably accepted that way. For me that was the last visit. If that's the service that this place now offers, then I'm definitely in the wrong place. I'll look for another location.

Once again we had a lovely time in the Mongolian Asian Restaurant. As always, the buffet was amazing and delicious as always. The price of €12.50 is not without its price, but it's hard to beat for this variety of different dishes. It's worth a visit and you shouldn't be disappointed. Addendum: Was here again on August 14th, 2024 and found that the buffet had become €1 more expensive, but this would only be published before the door.

We live in a completely different area and tried the restaurant more or less spontaneously for a lunch buffet a few weeks ago because we had an appointment in MK. My husband and I both loved it! The food was fresh and tasty (except for a few brown spots on the iceberg lettuce) and the service staff was friendly and attentive. Because we thought it was so good, we ate there again a week later (because of another appointment in MK). The only not insignificant drawback: There are no shrimps (in batter) at the lunch buffet, as they are also available at lunchtime in the Chinese restaurant near us. There is also no menu (a la carte) where you can find them or could have ordered them separately. When I asked, they said that the shrimp are only available in the evening. This is actually very unfortunate, because we would like to come back again - but only for the lunch buffet, as otherwise it is completely sufficient for us and we don't want a Mongolian grill or something similar, or we don't come to the much more expensive dinner buffet just because of the shrimp . You should definitely consider offering shrimps at the lunch buffet, as they are absolutely missing as a popular and otherwise common seafood dish and would round off and complete the selection of the buffet as such. ADDENDUM: Since the opportunity arose, we ate there for the first time in the evening last Wednesday (08/21/24). The restaurant was only sparsely occupied. As already known, there were shrimps in batter that were not offered at lunch, but as far as we could see, the rest of the buffet was completely identical to the lunch buffet. In my opinion, the size and taste of the shrimp were comparable to the commercially available “party shrimp,” which you can buy relatively cheaply in the supermarket. The owner's justification (in response to my complaint that no shrimps are offered at the lunch buffet) that shrimps are very expensive to buy and are therefore only offered at the evening buffet, "so as not to have to make any restrictions on the quality", is therefore by no means plausible or understandable. Likewise, the hefty price (!) of the evening buffet (compared to the lunch buffet), which is twice as high - despite the Mongolian grill on offer, which we and hardly anyone else took advantage of - is definitely not justified and is in no way in relation to the price otherwise identical offer. Conclusion: Given this, we will only come back for the lunch buffet, if at all.

Everything is correct, I have been there 2 more times, it is a highly recommended restaurant, the quality-price ratio is very good. Be careful: there are dishes that are very spicy 😁

What looks inconspicuous and a bit neglected from the outside turns out to be a real gem in the restaurant itself: very nice and good service, great food and a large selection. And all of this at a fair price. We were there for a buffet lunch at lunchtime and thoroughly enjoyed it. Everything is just right here. Thank you for this enjoyment

Food is ok, far too little, hardly any choice. There wasn't much going on but we had to ask again and again for drinks. We really had to ask 7-10 times if the order had been forgotten! They hardly understood us either. Too bad there was no tip either! We were there with a large group and everyone who ate the curry had a stomach ache afterwards. I can't say whether that's a coincidence.

Opportunity cost not to come. Best there is.

I really liked the squid rings and duck at the lunch buffet. Really tasty. I found the rest of the dishes I tried to be completely over salted. For the life of me I couldn't finish it. A pity. But I liked the large selection. We were in the restaurant at lunchtime on June 25, 2024

We were passing by here to eat. We ate really well. The place was really full but we managed to find a table too. The place serves a buffet and has really different things to eat. You can also find a dessert and ice cream section. The waitress maybe not very friendly, she didn't even smile when we wished her a good day and thanked her for everything. The quantity and variety of sushi wasn't much in fact there was little choice but it was good. We will definitely go back there when we pass by again!

This is the best place for everyone to find his own favorite food. There are many things to choose and they are somehow adapted to European cuisine. I mean ( Germany and neighboring countries ). Stuff are super nice and friendly. Price , ratio is unbeatable especially mornings from Monday to Saturday. 5 stars always!

Tucked inside a mall, you climb up a ring of stairs, probably there is an elevator but I didn't use it. I went for an early dinner at 5 pm so it was not crowded. Food is delicious and quite a few to choose from. Ample parking. Not overpriced. Overall nice experience

Outrageous... When paying by card, the waitress said she had rounded up because I had a voucher anyway. I actually wanted to give her the tip in cash, but after the action I left it. Sowss doesn't work at all... impudence

There are enough free parking spaces directly in front of the center. The elevator takes you to the second floor. The entrance is suitable for disabled people. You don't need to reserve a table, maybe on the weekend.

We dined here on a Thursday evening. It was relatively quiet that evening. The buffet was always full and you could get to it quickly with live cooking. Plenty of selection of fresh ingredients. Staff was very attentive without being intrusive. The food also tasted good and was always warm.

The food wasn't bad, and the service was friendly overall. Unfortunately, I tried to order a second drink several times within three quarters of an hour without success, and when I finally managed it with great difficulty, I didn't get it. When I politely pointed this out to the waitress while paying, I expected at least something like regret, but I was met with a flippant "next time." I don't think there will be a next time any time soon. Almost 30 euros is a hefty price, and there are places where I get better service for less money, and the food there isn't any worse.

But a waitress who asks your age (I'm an adult) and then laughs, touches you on the shoulder and says you look 12 is cold, childish and unprofessional behavior, which is what you should expect in a schoolyard, but not in a restaurant. Checking your age should always be done with your ID card.

I went there for dinner today with a friend (all you can eat buffet). Everything I ate, whether beef, chicken, lamb or pork, was very tasty. All of the vegetables, including broccoli, carrots, mushrooms, etc., were prepared tasty. The selection is so large that it is impossible to try everything. The desserts were also great. I had a tiramisu and soft ice cream with chocolate sauce. Given the huge selection, I rate the price-performance ratio as very good. The service was super nice and attentive. We were even allowed to go outside the door after dessert and enjoy smoking a cigarette. That was a great dinner and a good time there. We will definitely go there again soon for dinner.

We really enjoy coming here. The selection of dishes at the buffet is somewhat smaller than at many competitors. The combination of the selection is very successful and, in my opinion, the quality is noticeably better than many similar offers. The ambience is rather classic and quite harmonious. The service is impeccable and always friendly. Despite the increase, the prices are still very fair. In my opinion, definitely recommended.

Essen, Service und Ambiente "nur" 4 Sterne, trotzdem alles zusammen 5 Sterne. Wie das geht? Diese unfassbar leckere Pekingsuppe!!! Die immer leckeren und frischen Speisen. Wer möchte kann sich auch rohe Zutaten nehmen und sie werden am offenen Herd frisch zubereitet. Dann findet das fertige Gericht durch immer freundliche Angestellte wieder den Weg zurück zum Tisch. Das Ambiente könnte etwas schöner sein, so wirkt es etwas Bahnhofsmäßig, da der Raum insgesamt sehr groß ist. Aber ich denke, dass ist jammern auf hohem Niveau.

Wir waren schon mehrmals hier. Immer freundlich, super leckeres Essen. Wir freuen uns jedesmal, wenn wir herkommen. Wir empfehlen es jedem.

Wir kommen schon seit Jahren hier hin und finden Mittagsbuffet und auch abends das Live Cooking Buffet sehr gut. Ab und an fällt auf das einige Sachen nicht nachgefüllt werden aber im großen und ganzen guter Service und gutes Essen.

Sehr höflicher Empfang, nette und fleißige junge Kellner. Das Essen ist lecker, frisch und wird regelmäßig aufgefüllt. Auswahl ist gut... zum Nachtisch gab es eine große Auswahl an Eissorten, Tiramisu und verschiedene Joghurts und Puddings. Insgesamt ein angenehmer Aufententhalt mit angemessenen Preisen. Die Atmosphäre war auch überraschend ruhig trotz hoher Auslastung. Am besten rechtzeitig reservieren an Feiertagen.

Bin fast jede Woche dort zum Essen. Toller Service nette Bedienung und ein klasse Buffet. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Das Restaurant ist super lecker und das Personal ist sehr freundlich. An Wochenenden ist es manchmal etwas lauter durch Gäste. Wer eher Ruhe genießen will, sollte an einem Wochentag vorbei kommen.

Ich war mit meinem Vater und meinem Hund dort. Wir wurden sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend bedient. Es war nicht mein erster Besuch dort. Ich suche dieses asiatische Restaurant wirklich sehr gerne auf!

Ein großes Lokal mit Essen vom Buffet. Der Service ist schnell und freundlich. Eine Reservierung ist zumindest am WE zu Empfehlen um Wartezeiten zu vermeiden. Essen ist Gut und immer frisch und ausreichend vorhanden.

Ein,, Muss" wenn ich 2 mal im Jahr von der Süd- Westpfalz nach Koblenz komme. Kein Weg führt dann an Mühlheim-Kärlich vorbei um ,,meinen Mongolen" zu besuchen. Das Buffett ist sehr reichhaltig bestückt und immer frisch und lecker.Hier ist für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei und der Preis ist einfach unschlagbar.

Für Essen mit größeren Gruppen sehr geeignet.
