Mondo Bianco in Frankfurt am Main

Exploitation of the customers, pushing for tips, it is Germany 🇩🇪 and that’s not a European thing to do, they got payed for their service. They thing I was a Yankee, so they tried multiple times to get a tip, when I asked if a needed to do this she said I should!

We missed a flight and had a 6 hour wait time for the next one. While being 'captive' in Terminal 2 during that time we found our way to the Mondo Bar cafe. The food and drink were good but the friendly waiters were outstanding!

Great beer! No issues from me!! The customer representative was very helpful. I'm not certain about, why they have poor reviews 😕..I don't understand .. went well for me!!!

Lamentable experiencia. Estábamos en la mesa del restaurante y todos pidieron menú excepto 1 persona, que sólo quería bocadillo. Esa persona tuvo que abandonar la mesa del restaurante para comerse su bocadillo en la barra fuera del restaurante. Seguro no volveremos.

Die Speisenauswahl rund um Pizza, Pasta und Burger ist ebenso erwartungsgemäß, wie die für das Gebotene deutlich überhöhten Preise - man is(s)t halt am Flughafen. Dafür entschädigt zum einen der Blick auf das Vorfeld, und zum anderen der wirklich aufmerksame und zügige Service. Positiv zu erwähnen ist die kleine aber feine Auswahl an Weinen.

Look pub à l'italienne. Carte réduite mais variée. Prix aéroport mais pas tant que ça. Service efficace. On trouve sans difficulté de quoi se restaurer.

Very unpleasant workers. Food not very good too. Have space to sit and eat but you get food to take outside because whey say who can sit and who have to take food outside.

La peor comida y atención posible, para iniciar, tratan con desprecio a quien no habla inglés o alemán. Te exigen propina, te gritan o insultan con el termino "" sudaka "" y para finalizar te cobran extra propina y precio en euros. Nada recomendado

Kleine Auswahl an recht ordentlichen Weinen und Bier, standard Flughafensnacks, alles zu überteuerten Flughafenpreisen, aber das ist ja bekannt.... Allerdings war die (osteuropäische) Bedienung extrem schnodderig und unfreundlich, der Kollege aber bemüht und nett das auszugleichen... ihr abschließend Kommentar bei der Rückgabe des (Plastik!) Bierbechers: Müll ist draußen, geht garnicht: entsorgen sollte man solche Angestellte!

Very friendly service. It was pleasure to sit and relax for moment. Food was ok and desert was good. Coffee and tea also were very nice.

Super freundlicher und schneller Service. Perfekt für ein Getränk und einen Snack. Hatten Bruschetta welches Super geschmeckt hat. Preise dem Flughafen entsprechend total ok. Entspannte Atmosphere-gerne beim nächste Mal wieder !

La comida estaba perfecta y el tiempo de servirla también, el único problema fue un camarero muy maleducado que por preguntarle para qué servía el código QR se puso a hablarnos como si fuéramos idiotas, además de que por hablar otro idioma no nos atendió con amabilidad, la verdad fue muy mala experiencia.

Ich kann von Restaurant Mondo im Flughafen Frankfurt Terminal 2 nur abraten!!! Der Service, die Selbstbedienungstheke und die Getränke sind zwar absolut ok, aber das Essen im Restaurant selbst ist nur Geldmacherei und die Angaben auf der Karte nicht der Wahrheit entsprechend. Ich hatte heute am 8.07.2021 um 11h die Trüffellinguini mit Cocktailtomaten und Schnittlauch.Es kam eine Miniportion liebloser Spaghetti mit 1 (!!!) Cocktailtomate und den Schnittlauch musste man mit der Lupe suchen,wenn es überhaupft Schnittlauch war. Dann hat man uns die Grissini berechnet obwohl das Glas mit dem Preis in dem die da standen, so nach hinten gedreht war, dass man den Preis unmöglich sehen konnte!!! Und steht noch in dem gleichen Holzkasten in dem Olivenöl, Salz und Pfeffer steht, das ist war wenigstens noch gratis…Auch ein Gespräch mit der Serviceleiterin hat nicht dazu geführt, dass die von mir angeführten Punkte in irgendeiner Weise Beachtung fanden. Noch nicht mal eine Entschuldigung in irgendeiner Form und das IST ABSOLUT NICHT OK!!!! Bleibt einfach dem MONDO im Flughafen Frankfurt Terminal 2 fern kann ich nur jedem raten! Echt ein toller Einstieg in den Urlaub! Ich vom Restaurant Mondo im Flughafen Frankfurt nur abraten!!! Asoziale Mitarbeiter. Sehr unhöflich und unfreundlich. Obwohl ein Tisch frei war, haben die mich 15 min warten lassen und als ich dann saß, haben die mich aufgefordert meine Sachen vom Stuhl zu nehmen.

I waited for about 20mn. Went to the bar to order, was told to sit down. Asked a couple of waiters if i could order, apparently i was not sitting at a table they were attending. Overheard that it would take more than 20mn for pizzas so left.....

This place simply can’t cope with being busy. The service, although friendly, was shockingly incompetent. It’s probably not their fault, but down to organisation. They just kept calling a halt to people ordering because they could not cope with every table being occupied. The food, wine and beer is actually very good, so it is a shame that they do not have the ability to cope with demand. One thing you need at an airport is speedy service, so that you can make your flight de-stressed and satiated. This place just can’t cope with crowds.
