There were two of us, and we absolutely loved it! 😊 The food was incredibly delicious – we especially loved the crunchy sushi and the bao bun. The staff was very friendly, and we even got a table without a reservation. Our only suggestion for improvement: a warmer room temperature would make it even cozier. A fantastic vegan restaurant!

Duc was a very nice employee. We felt very comfortable.

It was quite cold in the restaurant in December because the heating wasn't working. €4.50 for a cup of tea with a tea bag seemed a bit pricey. And selling tasteless, colorless soy crumbs from a discount store as vegan beef struck me as rather poor. I probably wouldn't go back.

The vegan hot pot was such a disappointment. The broth was boring and the ingredient selection was meh. Too sad, this is the only vegan hot pot place in Leipzig. Hopefully they improve in the future.

We went there for the vegan Christmas buffet. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food was heavenly. The sushi, in particular, was extremely delicious and high-quality. A visit here is highly recommended!

Everything here is perfect. Beautiful restaurant, very friendly service, and incredibly good and creative food! We love coming back and never tire of trying everything on the menu.

The appetizers, sushi, and Dragon Balls for dessert were fantastic, and the service was very friendly and attentive. You should allow some time for your meal, as everything is freshly prepared and therefore can't be on the table within 10 minutes.

We were there on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was almost empty but nicely decorated. We simply weren't served, and then at some point we read the reviews, as there was a PR code on the table that promised a 5% discount on the bill if you leave a review. That's probably how you buy the good reviews. That was reason enough for us to leave. Only then did the waitress notice we were there.

Delicious, beautifully presented food and very friendly service

I was unfortunately a bit disappointed. At first glance, and with a lot of hunger, there was a nicely arranged small buffet with a few dishes. It was quite tasty, but simply nothing special. Since I don't eat sushi, that was already out of the question. There was a soup with some vegetables and tofu. Then a few dishes with the same vegetables, only the sauce was different. There was also tofu in two different sauces. Spring rolls, baked goods in batter, and dumplings. Furthermore, many dishes were out of stock, which isn't appropriate given the limited time of 1.5 hours. What I ate that evening I could have gotten for under €10 at any vegan Vietnamese restaurant in Leipzig. Not a particularly vegan alternative. I can get tofu pretty much anywhere these days. I also felt it was quite salty. The drinks, however, were quite overpriced for what you get. So, I wouldn't recommend it. I'd rather have a delicious meal at one of the countless other restaurants that offer very few meat substitutes and are creative in their approach, rather than just tofu. The ambience was okay, a bit dark for my taste, and the artificial plants weren't my thing.

The bao bun was really delicious but overpriced for its size. My main course (vegan Kazu) was disappointing. There was too little sauce and the vegetables didn't complement the dish at all. Unfortunately, I wouldn't go back for that price.

My experience was totally pleasant. I went to the buffet in the afternoon. The food was delicious and there was a wide variety of dishes. Also, when something was empty, they refilled it quickly. There's a short line at first because the buffet isn't that big, but it moves quickly and without any problems. The service was very friendly and everyone was very attentive. If you're in Leipzig, I highly recommend this place for lunch, especially sushi; it's totally worth it!

Everything is absolutely perfect. The prices are good, the service is fast, friendly, and attentive. The dishes are beautifully presented and taste fantastic. All this in a very pleasant ambiance. The price range below is for a three-course meal for two people, including two drinks each.

We were there on a holiday and quite late in the evening. The staff was super friendly and even offered a last round of drinks. There were two of us and we had two of the homemade dishes. Both were good! We also had the Monchi Ramen. The shrimp and pork bites tasted surprisingly realistic, as far as I can remember. We also had the Shroomkin Udon Curry, which was also super delicious. A perfect combination of sweet and salty, as well as hot and cold (thanks to the matching salad on the side). The restrooms are accessible via a staircase downstairs. They were clean, and there were plenty of toilet paper, soap, and paper towels. Verdict: We'd go back!

We ate at Monchi yesterday. We had reserved a table in advance and were a little early, but were able to sit outside. Seating is available both inside and outside. Sushi requires some preparation, so we had to wait a while for our food, but that's perfectly fine and understandable. Everything was freshly prepared. The food was beautifully presented and tasted excellent. Going to the restroom was disappointing, as it needs a thorough cleaning. There was only one server present. She was gone for ten minutes, probably to get supplies like napkins or something similar from the basement. Meanwhile, a guest came in who wanted to pay and then had to report to the kitchen. Perhaps this should be better organized. Despite everything, I would give the restaurant another chance. The people were all very nice and accommodating 😊

It was a very successful spontaneous dinner at Monchi Vegan. A completely vegan restaurant that even meat eaters loved! We were greeted very warmly and taken to a nice table. There is a digital and analogue menu. Both variants are very clear and aesthetically designed! It was also quick service, short waiting times and still fresh food. There is a very pleasant atmosphere in this restaurant, the lights are dimmed (very pleasant, especially for people who are sensitive to light) and instrumental music completes the cozy atmosphere. The starters were big/small enough so that the main course still found its place. The wonton soup, the bao taco, the white bomb and spicy peanut rounded off with a rainbow brigde drink were all a complete pleasure and as soon as we visit Leipzig again, a visit here will be necessary! The vegan duck blew us away and we are thrilled with the taste and consistency.

Disgraceful service, overpriced prices. We had to wait an hour for our order in a virtually empty restaurant because delivery orders were constantly being brought forward. No mention of the long waiting times when ordering. By far the worst restaurant experience in a city that is really not poor in terrible restaurants.

I ordered 3 courses for 2 people here and it seems like a joke! The portions were incredibly small! All the ingredients (which were only found in small pieces) were of the worst quality. We spent a lot of money for nothing. NOT RECOMMENDED
