We were there on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was almost empty but nicely decorated. We simply weren't served, and then at some point we read the reviews, as there was a PR code on the table that promised a 5% discount on the bill if you leave a review. That's probably how you buy the good reviews. That was reason enough for us to leave. Only then did the waitress notice we were there.

I was unfortunately a bit disappointed. At first glance, and with a lot of hunger, there was a nicely arranged small buffet with a few dishes. It was quite tasty, but simply nothing special. Since I don't eat sushi, that was already out of the question. There was a soup with some vegetables and tofu. Then a few dishes with the same vegetables, only the sauce was different. There was also tofu in two different sauces. Spring rolls, baked goods in batter, and dumplings. Furthermore, many dishes were out of stock, which isn't appropriate given the limited time of 1.5 hours. What I ate that evening I could have gotten for under €10 at any vegan Vietnamese restaurant in Leipzig. Not a particularly vegan alternative. I can get tofu pretty much anywhere these days. I also felt it was quite salty. The drinks, however, were quite overpriced for what you get. So, I wouldn't recommend it. I'd rather have a delicious meal at one of the countless other restaurants that offer very few meat substitutes and are creative in their approach, rather than just tofu. The ambience was okay, a bit dark for my taste, and the artificial plants weren't my thing.

I never eat vegan. But it was super delicious. I didn't miss the meat. The service was a bit pushy.

The bao bun was really delicious but overpriced for its size. My main course (vegan Kazu) was disappointing. There was too little sauce and the vegetables didn't complement the dish at all. Unfortunately, I wouldn't go back for that price.

My experience was totally pleasant. I went to the buffet in the afternoon. The food was delicious and there was a wide variety of dishes. Also, when something was empty, they refilled it quickly. There's a short line at first because the buffet isn't that big, but it moves quickly and without any problems. The service was very friendly and everyone was very attentive. If you're in Leipzig, I highly recommend this place for lunch, especially sushi; it's totally worth it!

Everything is absolutely perfect. The prices are good, the service is fast, friendly, and attentive. The dishes are beautifully presented and taste fantastic. All this in a very pleasant ambiance. The price range below is for a three-course meal for two people, including two drinks each.

The food is excellent, and the service is superb. The waiter, Duc, is extremely courteous and friendly. We'll be back.

The starters and main courses were truly delicious, and the lemonades not only looked great but also tasted really good. We'll be back!🥰

It's great that you can order a hot pot on your own. It was okay. The Kazu Chickless was also quite good, but nothing more. Overall, the food was good, but based on the reviews, we expected more.

The food was tasty. I had curry rice. It's was possible to tune the spiciness. Nice portion, a lot of veggies. Chilled and cozy atmosphere. Fair price.

We were there on a holiday and quite late in the evening. The staff was super friendly and even offered a last round of drinks. There were two of us and we had two of the homemade dishes. Both were good! We also had the Monchi Ramen. The shrimp and pork bites tasted surprisingly realistic, as far as I can remember. We also had the Shroomkin Udon Curry, which was also super delicious. A perfect combination of sweet and salty, as well as hot and cold (thanks to the matching salad on the side). The restrooms are accessible via a staircase downstairs. They were clean, and there were plenty of toilet paper, soap, and paper towels. Verdict: We'd go back!

We ate at Monchi yesterday. We had reserved a table in advance and were a little early, but were able to sit outside. Seating is available both inside and outside. Sushi requires some preparation, so we had to wait a while for our food, but that's perfectly fine and understandable. Everything was freshly prepared. The food was beautifully presented and tasted excellent. Going to the restroom was disappointing, as it needs a thorough cleaning. There was only one server present. She was gone for ten minutes, probably to get supplies like napkins or something similar from the basement. Meanwhile, a guest came in who wanted to pay and then had to report to the kitchen. Perhaps this should be better organized. Despite everything, I would give the restaurant another chance. The people were all very nice and accommodating 😊

Very, very good food! We went to the buffet; the food selection was incredibly delicious, and the sushi was fantastic. The drinks were very good. I recommend the homemade lemonade. It's definitely worth a visit! You definitely need a reservation for the buffet.

It was a very successful spontaneous dinner at Monchi Vegan. A completely vegan restaurant that even meat eaters loved! We were greeted very warmly and taken to a nice table. There is a digital and analogue menu. Both variants are very clear and aesthetically designed! It was also quick service, short waiting times and still fresh food. There is a very pleasant atmosphere in this restaurant, the lights are dimmed (very pleasant, especially for people who are sensitive to light) and instrumental music completes the cozy atmosphere. The starters were big/small enough so that the main course still found its place. The wonton soup, the bao taco, the white bomb and spicy peanut rounded off with a rainbow brigde drink were all a complete pleasure and as soon as we visit Leipzig again, a visit here will be necessary! The vegan duck blew us away and we are thrilled with the taste and consistency.

Went to the buffet, which had to be refilled quite often. The drinks aren't cheap, the staff was friendly but seemed overwhelmed. Would probably try something from the menu at lunchtime.

Definitely worth a visit. Delicious food, large selection, generous portion sizes, freshly prepared.

Disgraceful service, overpriced prices. We had to wait an hour for our order in a virtually empty restaurant because delivery orders were constantly being brought forward. No mention of the long waiting times when ordering. By far the worst restaurant experience in a city that is really not poor in terrible restaurants.

I ordered 3 courses for 2 people here and it seems like a joke! The portions were incredibly small! All the ingredients (which were only found in small pieces) were of the worst quality. We spent a lot of money for nothing. NOT RECOMMENDED

I work nearby and would like to go there more often, but card payments over €50? It's 2025, and I don't carry so much cash around that I always eat for €10 and pay in cash. Well, that's a good way to lose customers. The food is excellent, I have no complaints. But I prefer ordering through Wolt to going to a restaurant.

Food selection and quantity a bit small, but very tasty, even if vegan sushi simply cannot perfectly imitate the taste of fish. The atmosphere and ambience were really great: quiet, nice, considerate people. Service was also super nice; Towards the end I got sushi again when I asked. Overall great value for money; Great opportunity to enjoy Asian classics in vegan form, but don't expect revolutionary dishes. (There were gyozas, sushi, fried rice/noodles, noodles with vegetables + tofu in various sauces, fried banana + pineapple, yoghurt with fruit)

Was 100% convincing. Since I also like to eat meat from time to time, I can say with certainty that you can easily do without it here! My favorite was the kimchi soup.

The food was very tasty and varied. For my taste, the starters are garnished with a bit of lettuce leaves, although we also tried a lot of starters and with only one starter per person this probably isn't that important. At least on Saturday evenings at 8 p.m. it is absolutely full here, so I recommend making a reservation in advance.

The litchie limo is awesome. We had appetizers and a sushi platter. Everything was fantastic, one taste experience after another. The yumi soup is great! Highly recommended. Was a great evening

The starters were very tasty and the service staff was friendly. Unfortunately we were disappointed with the main courses. The burger was barely edible due to the amount of patties and the sauce (which made the bun soggy). I had the Thai curry and it was incredibly spicy and the chicken substitute was tough and not very tasty. Too bad! In addition, despite the curtain on the door, it was very drafty and the chair I was sitting on needed to be replaced (the faux leather was totally worn out and crumbly).

We ordered here via delivery service. The delivery arrived quickly and lukewarm on Christmas Day. Unfortunately, one dish has completely expired. And a jackfruit curry for almost €20 without jackfruit (but 80% sprouts) is very expensive.
