We spontaneously looked for a restaurant in the evening and were very happy with our choice.

Nice little 100% vegan restaurant! That alone almost deserves 5 stars! Or!? Feast without animal suffering! <3 <3 Should be in every city! Everything was great, beyond the welcome, very friendly and quickly found a place, luckily it wasn't that crowded. Homemade lemonade very good, not too sweet and nicely decorated. The starter soup wonton, in spicy broth, main course udon noodles with vegan "duck", very crispy, beautifully decorated and garnished. Very quick service, drink arrived in 2 minutes, food arrived about 10 minutes after ordering. I asked (really unobtrusively) several times if everything was OK. Everything was super fresh, aromatic, delicious! A clear recommendation for (vegan) excursionists with an appetite for Asian cuisine!! THANKS! I'd love to come back and bring reinforcements with me! 🙏😅

Super delicious food. We were there in a large group and ordered everything from the menu and it was all very tasty. Nice service. You only smell slightly fried after your visit, but I'm happy to accept that again

Have been here twice and definitely want to come back! Everything is prepared very lovingly and creatively and, above all, tastes very good. Monchi is also suitable for breaking down prejudices of non-vegans ;) Very comfortably furnished, friendly service!

Vegan food, we went to the buffet, lots of fried food, curry, fruit, desserts. All in all a good experience, sushi could be a little more varied. Great opportunity for vegetarian/vegan people to be able to eat everything from the buffet :)

If you go to the buffet on Wednesday you get really good food and at a fair price. Unfortunately, when you have it delivered to your home, the food is not of the same quality (sushi falls completely apart and dishes are okay) and the price-performance ratio is simply not right.

From the first step into this very atmospheric store, I fell in love. The food is incredibly tasty and high quality. If you don't take the hot pot, you're missing out. The cherry on the cake is the fried banana as the crowning glory. Even the aesthetics have been neglected. See you next time.

The food here was excellent! We had the dumplings, wantons, ramen, and one person sushi special and everything was delicious. Our server was very nice and attentive. The restaurant is also dog friendly which was great for us! Can recommend.

Delicious lunch buffet ALL you can eat. Price performance top! Really very very tasty. The only flaw is labeling the food so that you know what you are eating, even if you have a nut allergy. Still super satisfied

So I discovered this sensational vegan restaurant online today and had to go there immediately. The recessions have been consistently positive. But once I was there, I was really impressed. You will be welcomed very friendly. The ambience is great. Very pleasant dim lighting and the other guests around were very pleasant and not as loud as you would find in other restaurants. The food and my drink were amazing!!! The lovely “Chi” from the service is always attentive like a bee, but not at all intrusively buzzing around the guests, so that nothing is missing. Thanks so much. I would also like to express my heartfelt thanks to the kitchen and all the service around it. You're doing great work!!! Very tasty dishes and a large selection.

For us, Monchi Vegan was the best vegan meal in a restaurant so far. If you didn't know it was vegan, you wouldn't notice. There is a lot to choose from, varied dishes and not everything is full of coriander. Service was super friendly and dogs are welcome in the restaurant and given water :) The only drawback: you have to pay extra for duck in the dishes (€2-3.50 depending on the dish), which is a bit of a shame considering the fair prices. The same applies to the ice cream (€2.50) for dessert, which normally only costs two small baked bananas and a few slices of fruit for €6. But that's complaining at a high level, so 5 stars anyway.

Highly recommended. We enjoyed it great, unusual dishes, very friendly service. And apparently the problem mentioned in another review that only larger amounts can be paid with a card has also been solved, because with us it was also possible with smaller amounts. We seemed to be the only guests - hopefully that was just an exception, because a restaurant like this deserves to be always full. ;)

I stayed here spontaneously with my partner on a Wednesday (no reservation necessary). The food was very tasty, the service was courteous and the price was reasonable.

Were visiting here and the restaurant was recommended to us on Instagram. We immediately went for dinner and it was all very tasty and authentic. The young man at the service was very nice and accommodating. We would always love to eat here again when we visit Leipzig.

Very tasty unusual vegan sushi. Highly recommended for every vegan sushi lover who doesn't feel like boring cucumbers and avocado maki and would like to have as extensive a selection as non-vegans. The homemade lemonades are also highly recommended.

The vegan buffet is really great. Above all, the offer for 15 euros is really unbeatable. But even for 20 euros it's still very fair. Delicious, plenty of choice, already prepared and if something is empty we refill it very quickly. Of course there are sometimes waiting times, but you also need time to digest in between.

You sit relaxed, nice staff, tried the buffet for lunch. Selection clear but sufficient. It would be nice if you knew what you were putting on your plate and the food was labeled. Some things were just too spicy for me. I'd love to come back to try the burger. I do have one critical point to note: the containers are a deterrent everywhere you inevitably see bees and wasps drowning. 👎

Well...food was pretty average, not very seasoned, uniform taste. Toilets underground dirty, trash cans overflowing, strong smell. Staff but friendly. Outdoor area uninviting, loveless. Card payment only possible from 50€.

The Monchi impresses with its very good food and warm service. The drinks in particular are more than worth a visit.

Very friendly and accommodating staff, great ambience, beautiful place, but I was very disappointed with the food. I had ordered Cha Cha Noodles, a main course for €16. The plate was also full of nests of striped carrots and beets and an elaborate arrangement of cooked but completely tasteless rice noodles. The actual dish, tofu mince rolled in juicy green betel leaves, was five little finger-sized rolls, which I would have considered very small even for an appetizer. The rest was a show and had nothing to do with a main course. It was very similar with my wife. She had ordered TASTY TARO - TOFU and here too the actual dish was not worth a starter. But here too it costs €16. Sorry, but I wouldn't recommend Monchi vegan.

Unfortunately, the food didn't convince me. The steamed dumplings fell apart and the contents were a mush that really wasn't tasty. The prices are simply too high for that! But the service was good.

The food was very, very tasty and I was even told that the normal burger patty was made with mushrooms after I said that I was allergic to mushrooms! Really great. So I got my burger with extra vegan duck meat. Delicious. We will definitely come back when we are in Leipzig again!

Very tasty food and friendly service.

We were 8 people. The food was pretty good. The staff there are friendly and the food comes quickly and warm. The atmosphere inside was rather dark, you almost stumble on the way to the toilet. Outside, the outdoor seating was a bit inconvenient because part of the terrace was built and you sit with the chair with your back almost 2 cm from the elevation and if you move the wrong way, the chair and its contents go backwards.

We had dinner there with my sister and brother-in-law. The waiter was very accommodating. The restaurant is of course perfect for two vegans and a Flexi. We had the Baoburger twice, a mild hotpot with noodles and vegetables and dumplings, and once a starter with fried things. Non-alcoholic cocktails were also really chic and tasted good. The Vietnamese coffee was also the final touch for me. The vegan coffee cream that went with it was very nice. We'll definitely come back when I'm in Leipzig again.

We had a lovely dinner at Monchi. The starters were amazing (dumplings recommended!!!). The ambience and the friendly staff are also convincing. We had to wait a bit for our main course, but it was more than worth the wait. We'd love to come back. :)

Super delicious (had the bao burger) and the berry soda, great relaxed service and fair prices. The ambience is also beautiful. The food doesn't look that tasty in the picture because the light in the restaurant is greenish, but it was fantastic. I'm already looking forward to the next time

Super cozy vegan restaurant. I recommend trying all of the appetizers. Pure taste experience! The buffet for €19 on public holidays or every Wednesday is also recommended. Always happy to go there! Update September 30, 2023: Really card payment from 80€???

It was actually very tasty, but in hindsight the hot pot was just ok. I wrote the review for the 5% discount. My companion would have had to do the same, so there was only 2.5%. We paid ~75 € and card payment would only have been possible from 80 €?!

The variety of the buffet is overwhelming. We go there at least once a month.

Super nice staff and very good, tasty and fresh food. There were a few ice crystals in the ice, but other than that there was really nothing to notice. What bothered me was that card payments are only possible from €80 onwards. As a result, I ended up not being able to eat the dish I actually wanted because I didn't have enough cash with me. Yes, that's personal bad luck, but I don't think it's up-to-date for a modern restaurant.

Very nice restaurant. Very tasty food! Lunch menu cheaper than evening menu. Only the labeling of the allergens is incorrect. People eating gluten-free should be particularly careful. Fried onions and soy sauce contain gluten. Stay safe my friends.
