More than just “good bourgeois”! Tasty, simply honestly delicious 😋. Food was amazing. We were able to taste that everything is cooked here with love and dedication. Thank you very much for this! The ladies in service are very friendly, attentive and quick. Oh yes, the home-made one is also quick. Aromatic, good cherry schnapps that tastes good and doesn't hurt your throat ;-) We'll be back because your great location also invites you to go hiking👍👍👍

We had dinner there. The food was delicious and the service was friendly. Unfortunately we didn't like the atmosphere at all, it was too crowded and therefore too loud and cramped. If you want to drink a beer with the regulars in the evening, this seems to be the right place for you. But not recommended for a leisurely meal with the family.

We were visiting someone who was taking a spa treatment. Stopped here for lunch and everyone was very satisfied. Nice staff, great food and a great place to go for a walk. If we are in the area again we would be happy to come back.

I went here with my family for lunch (schnitzel with fries, roast pork and cordon bleu). The food was served quickly and hot and was really very good. The service staff was consistently nice and accommodating. Price performance is absolutely OK. We'll be back.

We recently had a group dinner there and I have to say for me personally it was the last time. The medium rare rump steak I ordered for my wife arrived, apart from the beginning and end, almost raw, which was therefore not edible. Even my cordon bleu was burnt on the lower side and there was no trace of cheese. As a starter there was a salad that obviously wasn't homemade and only came from a can or was well decorated. Since I brought up the topic of the rump steak during the service and also when paying, it was not addressed at all. I'm happy to pay for good food but this was far from it. In addition, you cannot pay by card there, which is what you would expect these days.

Everything was great, it was my first time here, but definitely not the last time

We were at the Mönchshof with our family a few days ago. Since I am vegan, we had previously asked by phone whether there was an option for me. We were then told “I’m cooking something vegan!” - wow! When we were there, everyone was really excited and everything was tasty. I was really thrilled that I was served an excellent lentil curry and therefore had a great vegan dish. Otherwise, the schnitzel, onion roast and salads were great and everyone went home full and very happy. We'd love to come back. Thank you very much again at this point!

Nice restaurant in Nirvana. Difficult to find without navigation. Once found, you will be fully compensated. The staff is very friendly, the quality of the food is very good. The price-performance ratio is unbeatable. Where else can you get a schnitzel for 12 euros?

Beautiful restaurant located in nature with a classic “home-style” atmosphere. Very courteous employees. What should be highlighted are the charming waitresses, who give the restaurant a fresh and contemporary touch thanks to their relaxed demeanor and friendly manner. Top leckeres frisches Essen. Tolles Team.

Man kann sehr gut essen und wunderbare Spaziergänge mit Kindern unternehmen. Viele Tiere auf den Weiden der umliegenden Höfe. Kein Durchgangsverkehr.

Mir hat die Schlachtplatte überhaupt nicht geschmeckt. Die Leberwurst war hart, die Bratwurst war angebraten und es gab Sosse dazu

Ein tolles traditionelles Gasthaus mit deutschen regionalen Gerichten und gutem Bier vom Fass. Hier wird noch alles von der Wirtin selbst gekocht und schmeckt sehr lecker. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Wirtin und Personal sind immer sehr freundlich. Im Sommer lockt der Gasthof auch mit einem schönen sonnigen Biergarten in toller Lage und lädt auch Motorradfahrer und Wanderer zum verweilen ein. Wir können den Mönchhof sehr empfehlen.

Hervorragendes Essen und Spitzenservice

Sehr gute Essen. Die Schnitzel sind einfach super. Auch die Gegend um den Hof ist schön zum Wandern oder Radfahren.

Anhand der anderen Rezensionen ist zu sehen, dass wir wohl einfach einen schlechten Tag erwischt haben. Die Erbsencremesuppe war sehr köstlich und sie ist nur zu empfehlen! Auch die Kässpätzle waren bekömmlich. Leider war es das Fleisch nicht. Wir haben den Zwiebelrostbraten ausdrücklich gut durchgebraten bestellt, er war jedoch blutig. Also ließen wir den Braten zurück in die Küche gehen. Während wir warteten wurden andere Gäste bedient und als wir ihn dann bekamen (und ich mit meinem Essen schon fast fertig war), war er auf der einen Hälfte zäh und der anderen weiterhin blutig. Aber immerhin gab es eine neue Portion Spätzle dazu. Mein Schweinehals war zum Teil auch zäh. Von einer Entschuldigung durch die Kellnerin keine Spur. Wir haben es dann bleiben lassen und meinten, dass wir den Rest einpacken, was jedoch sehr wörtlich genommen wurde: wir bekamen eine Schale auf den Tisch gestellt und packten unser Essen selbst ein. 52€ mit 2 Getränken. Schade!

Man sitzt schön auf der Terrasse und kann superleckere Schnitzel genießen.

Wspaniała kuchnia, prześwietni gospodarze, a wokół cisza, spokój, lasy i pola w środku szwarcwaldzkich gór.... Jeśli kiedykolwiek Wasza droga wiodłaby w okolicy naprawdę warto bez dwóch zdań nadłożyć nieco drogi, aby odwiedzić to magiczne miejsce....

# Klaus Langer. Ich war zur gleichen Zeit da. Bei mir war der Service super und das Essen unglaublich lecker. Ich kann deine Kritik nicht verstehen. Und wenn bei meinem Essen irgendwas nicht gestimmt hätte, hätte ich das der s"sehr freundlichen Bedienung" gesagt. 5 Daumen hoch 💪👍👍👍👍👍

Hat alles gepasst. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und gut gegessen mit einer Gesellschaft. Alle waren sehr zufrieden

Zu dem Restaurant kann ich leider nichts sagen, aber der Weg zum spazieren ist sehr schön. Die Kapelle ist sehr ordentlich und lädt zur Ruhe ein. Auch die Bänke um die Kapelle sind im Sommer sehr schön. Für die Kinder gibt es einen Spielplatz neben dem Haus.

Gutes ausflugslokal und preiswertes Essen Terrasse im freien vorhanden. Abgelegenes Restaurant aber gut. Es kommen auch viele Wanderer und biker vorbei auch Motorräder

Sehr zum empfehlen, das mal gleich zuerst. Wir sind heute schön auf der Terrasse gesessen, auf der man sich wohlfühlt. Zum Mönchhof. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, aufmerksamer Service, grosse und super schmeckende Portionen. Von Schnitzel über Braten bis zu Vesperplatten.
