The friendliness and service (especially from the young lady with glasses) are simply outstanding and unbeatable! I regularly eat here with my boyfriend; we love Moi Moi! And the food is fantastic 💛👍🙂👍💛

Truly one of the best duck and gyoza I've ever eaten!

I ate there with my Vietnamese friend and it was excellent. We were both thrilled with the quality of the food. Fresh, crisp vegetables, good quality meat, and well-seasoned. The value for money is definitely right. We tried a wide variety of dishes, except for the sushi. The atmosphere in the restaurant is pleasant and cozy. The service is discreet but adequate. We would gladly return and would definitely recommend this restaurant. Just so you know, they only accept cash.

We were here for the first time today, but we've already decided we'd make the trip back to Mülheim just for this restaurant. The food was delicious, and the service was fantastic. Unfortunately, it's cash only, but I personally didn't find that to be a big deal. The restroom isn't wheelchair accessible (it's in the basement), but it's clean, comfortably furnished, and warm. Moi Moi is easily accessible by public transport. There's a subway station directly across the street. We'll definitely be back! 🥰

We were a group of six for dinner. All the dishes were delicious and we would gladly come again.

Very fresh and absolutely delicious dishes. The expertly pan-fried salmon with its delicate sauce was cooked to perfection, accompanied by sweet potato fries in tempura batter – crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. The salad was fresh and crisp with a lovely lemon fish dressing that complemented the dish beautifully. The summer rolls were also light and flavorful – simply excellent! Fast service, very friendly staff, and truly fair prices. I'll definitely be back.

Highly recommended restaurant! The shrimp summer rolls were super fresh, with crunchy vegetables and a delicious sauce. I was absolutely thrilled with the duck udon noodles – the duck was tender and juicy, with crispy skin, the noodles were perfectly cooked, and the vegetables were beautifully crunchy. To finish, I had Monchi ice cream, creamy and pleasantly light, just the right dessert. Plus, friendly service and fair prices. I'd be happy to come back!

We had sushi here. It was okay, but unfortunately, we didn't get any wasabi or chopsticks (I find it very difficult to dip sushi in soy sauce with a fork, as it falls apart quickly). The service was friendly but slow; half an hour passed between an interim order (an extra drink) and delivery. They don't serve alcohol, and you can only pay with cash.

We both received a voucher for this restaurant through work. Otherwise, based on my friend's experience, we wouldn't have gone back. She was there about four weeks ago and had severe gastrointestinal problems after the coconut curry. Yesterday, I ate sushi there myself, which was also delicious. My husband had a bun. Unfortunately, I vomited during the night. This was accompanied by extremely severe stomach cramps and chills! To me, this is a clear indication of food poisoning. It is very worrying that within just four weeks, two people independently experienced similar health problems after eating at this restaurant. There are serious deficiencies in food hygiene here. Absolutely not recommended.

Came here for lunch. It was very tasty and well-priced: lunch and a small drink for around €11.00. One star deducted because they don't accept card payments, which is a shame.

Unfortunately, since the owner is no longer there, the store has declined. The food is still good and tasty. Unfortunately, the hygiene in the store is no longer good. There's dust everywhere, grease stains on the tables, the floor hasn't been cleaned in a while, and I don't think the window has been cleaned yet. It's a shame. The service isn't the best anymore either, and it's unfriendly. It's a shame.

Very good food and reasonably priced. If the beggars and the loitering types weren't so close, and if they'd had their annoying (loud, demanding of one another, sometimes marked by at least a hint of aggression) conversations somewhere else... Not bad, but annoying and disruptive when eating outside. We'll be back anyway. Hoping for the city of Mülheim!

It's a nice restaurant. But I think the place is too small, so you can hear every conversation from the neighboring table, and it was loud. But the food was amazing.

I was very satisfied with that. The food was great and the price/performance ratio was very good. The staff was very unobtrusive and very friendly. There are small deductions because card payments are not possible and the atmosphere feels a bit like a snack bar due to the construction. But I would always go there again!

The food was tasty and beautifully presented. The service seemed a bit overwhelmed in the full restaurant. Unfortunately, withered flowers in vases and poorly cared for potted plants don't make a nice impression. Our table was also not wiped and was very sticky. You don't have to see the toilet or the way there. Really very unpleasant. Too bad!

I ate in this restaurant for the first time on Friday December 6th, 2024. As a starter, summer rolls with shrimps and as a main course, Pho Bo soup. Unfortunately I got food poisoning afterwards. 30 minutes after eating, the food, which unfortunately didn't taste good, came out of the body again. Friendly staff, but unfortunately the food wasn't good at all. I hope no one else has had this problem. I just hope that hygiene will be paid attention to in the future and that the food will be fresh and durable. Unfortunately, the carbonated drinking water no longer tasted good. I will have to contact the restaurant again separately as it has caused health effects for me.

The food is very good. Vietnamese cuisine like the quality I'm used to in Berlin. Top recommendation from me. Acoustics could be better but that is of course secondary. Service could also increase a bit if it is completely full. Very long waiting times, that's not great.

Unfortunately the gyosa isn't worth mentioning, but the sushi, curry and udon are. It's also quite quick at the table and inexpensive too.

Excellent Asian restaurant. Small and cozy, pleasantly mixed crowd. The dishes we ordered were perfectly prepared and the prices were reasonable. Very authentic cuisine. There are slight deductions for the somewhat overwhelmed service and the adventurous trip to the toilet. But that doesn't detract from the overall grade. Full marks!

The food at MoiMoi is authentically Vietnamese and tastes great! The lunch menu in particular invites you to eat for little money. Depending on how busy it is, you have to accept waiting times and depending on who is in service, it can happen that you as a guest are missing cutlery or have to wait a long time to pay... Overall, the restaurant can be recommended!

Excellent food and the same service!

As an Asian, I can confirm that the food here is very good. Pho and summer rolls are extremely authentic and need no further mention. I particularly recommend the mango salad, which has a real Southeast Asian flavor. The salmon sushi is also very tasty. You might find better sushi in Düsseldorf, but for 80 euros.

The interior is a bit too dark.

In terms of taste, the best Vietnamese in Mülheim, but the service is always very, very slow. The interior is relatively small with an open kitchen, so it tends to be loud. However, nicely furnished. Unfortunately it is quite cold there in winter. In summer you can sit outside, but it is close to the main street and directly on the pedestrian zone. Unfortunately, the fact that it's not particularly nice there is because of the city and you can't change it.

The best coconut milk based curry soup I've had outside of Asia.

New favorite restaurant! Super delicious food. My favorite is the asparagus sushi, I really didn't expect it. The dessert is also amazing, the banana sticky rice is really excellent here! Just in love with the store. Will definitely come back!

We were at Moi Moi for the first time in August 2023 and it jumped straight into our top 5 Mülheim restaurants. The Pho Bo is incredibly delicious and our absolute favorite. Almost all starters (summer and spring rolls, gyoza, avocado salad tom and mango salad tom) were fantastic. The sticky rice banana is particularly impressive as a dessert. The highlight of the drinks is the unbeatable Vietnamese coffee. But I can also only recommend the lemongrass tea. The service is polite and quick and the decor matches the dishes very well. The only drawback is that only cash payment is accepted.

I can't understand the reviews. Staff inattentive. Wrong drinks came. The food came wrong and something was forgotten and the food was so-so.

Authentic Vietnamese food, passionate owner and pretty interior design! Their Pho soup was rich in flavor, hitting just the right salty and sour notes. It was comforting and the fresh herbs and chills gave it the right amount of kick. The only critique would be that the beef meatballs were rather though and chewy. Here lies room for improvement. I had the opportunity to chat with the owner, who is extremely friendly and passionate about his restaurant. It’s a family run restaurant with lots of heart and this is reflected in all aspects from the beautifully decorated restaurant in a wood and plant theme, to the friendliness of the staff and the authenticity of the food. Extremely recommendable!

Uns wurde das Restaurant „Moi Moi“ empfohlen und das auch zurecht. Von Service bis zum Essen stimmt in diesem Restaurant alles. Die Frühlingsrollen, die ich aufjedenfall weiterempfehlen kann, haben sehr sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Sushi hat auch extrem vorzüglich geschmeckt und auch die gebratene Ente hat überzeugt . Wir können dieses Restaurant zu 100% weiterempfehlen.
