We went to Möbel Höffner today, intending only to pick up the bathroom cabinets we'd ordered online. Since our sofa is now over 20 years old, we decided to have a look around the sofa department near the entrance. Thanks to the excellent advice from Mr. Tobias Schmidt, we decided to buy a new sofa for around €4,000. The deciding factor was Mr. Schmidt's detailed explanations, understanding of our needs, and implementation of our wishes. If all sales consultants were this attentive to customers, we would certainly have bought furniture there more often.

I strongly advise against buying anything here. One star is too much. The bed we bought for €600 was faulty and couldn't be assembled. It only stood after modifications and six hours of work. Höffner refuses to compensate us or offer an alternative. We feel cheated. Never again Höffner!!! Segmüller doesn't have this problem.

We were advised by Lukas, a young, highly motivated salesman. Although we were initially undecided, he convinced us with a suitable offer. Taking down our furniture (two chairs, a table, and a cabinet) was quick and easy. His humorous manner was particularly pleasant – friendly and professional. I have never encountered such an incredibly unfriendly employee in a furniture store. The woman at the information desk at the entrance was clearly exasperated with her job and made every customer feel it. At the same time, she constantly entered information incorrectly into the system; postal codes had to be repeated up to five times before she finally got it right. I was standing in a long queue at the information desk and witnessed this for quite some time. The customers were all genuinely friendly to her, but there was the annoyed head-shaking, repeated eye-rolling, and, as in my case, when I asked if I still had an old customer card in the system before applying for a new one, she closed her eyes and took a very deep breath. That was apparently too much for her. That's certainly not what professionalism looks like.

We consulted with kitchen specialist Guido Zimms and can only say: Furniture stores need someone like him! From the very beginning, we felt we were in excellent hands with Mr. Zimms. He thoroughly understood our needs, fully respected our budget, and at the same time very transparently showed us what was possible and in which areas our budget might not be sufficient. This honest and empathetic advice was invaluable to us. Mr. Zimms never exerted any pressure but consistently focused on our wishes and priorities. This is exactly how modern sales should work – and I say this from my own experience as a sales manager in the B2B sector. We had a very, very good feeling throughout the entire consultation. In the end, we were even willing to slightly increase our budget because we realized that the goal was truly to find the perfect solution for us – and not to push something on us. Guido Zimms is an outstanding salesperson: empathetic, honest, competent, and absolutely customer-oriented. I'm currently experiencing the installation of my new kitchen. It should be a cause for celebration, but unfortunately not at Höffner. Apparently, the measurements were taken incorrectly. If it's installed like this, the door won't open. The installers are quite nice, which isn't their fault. Now, about customer service. The salesperson is unreachable, and customer service refuses to help. They claim they can't connect me—yeah, right! I'm curious to see how this plays out; I'll keep you posted. My conclusion: never again will I make such a large purchase at Höffner. The customer service is abysmal. I need help now, not sometime in the future. This review only reflects how I was treated as a customer, not the work of the installers. Update from April 8, 2022: Today, the customer service representative from the complaint department came, and all the problems were resolved to our satisfaction. The representative was very friendly and competent, so it is possible to get things done. For the excellent handling of the complaint, I will adjust my rating to 3 stars. It's a shame that these problems arose beforehand. If I could have spoken to someone on the day of installation, all this trouble would have been avoided. Perhaps you should improve your direct customer service. The moment problems arise, the customer needs to be able to reach someone directly, not get a "I can't connect you" message, which nobody believes anyway. After all, buying a kitchen is a significant investment. I expect good service. Update November 2025: The coating on the kitchen faucet is already peeling off. Clearly poor quality. I contacted customer service and was fobbed off with a standard reply. Simply abysmal and incompetent service.

Describe your experience Our Rolf Benz sofa was delivered in 2022. Now, one of the backrests is extremely dented, and we filed a complaint with Rolf Benz. We were informed about the 5-year warranty on the upholstery and asked to process the complaint through Höffner. After submitting our complaint with photos, we received the following response: Manufacturer's statement: That's correct: Our five-year warranty applies to justified complaints. However, in this case, we don't see any such case. The customer has had the sofa since 2022, and the back cushion was fine then. This is a case of wear and tear caused by the customer's use. Nevertheless, we would like to offer customer service based on the polluter-pays principle. Please let us know if you would like the upholstery service to be initiated based on the polluter-pays principle. And we were told that the back cushion needs to be fluffed up regularly to prevent the matting that has occurred... Okay, aside from the fact that neither the manufacturer nor the seller ever communicated this upon delivery, it goes without saying that we fluffed up the cushion regularly to maintain its shape... Ultimately, we agreed to this and requested an appointment with the upholstery service. Nevertheless, we would like to offer customer service based on the "polluter pays" principle. Ultimately, we agreed to this and requested an appointment with the upholstery service. Now, suddenly, Höffner wants nothing to do with it and writes that after intensive examination, the warranty has expired and they can only offer us a new order for the cushions... We reiterated that we insist on the 5-year warranty. The same wording as above. Unfortunately, Höffner doesn't seem to have learned from the past. Years ago, we had a problem with an Ewald Schillig sofa set. We had to write to them here first... eventually, some supervisor got involved and showed up at our door with flowers to apologize for his employees' actions. Ms. Ronneburg seems overwhelmed by her job. Leaving a customer in the lurch like that is unacceptable. But that's how Höffner operates. Customer service has been a low priority there for years... Höffner??? Never again!!! Incidentally, we contacted Rolf Benz. They're not exactly thrilled with such "major clients" who don't know how to treat customers who invest a fortune in a Rolf Benz couch...

My husband and I are deeply disappointed, frustrated, and angry with the quality of the delivered kitchen and the customer service at Möbel Höffner. The delivery was delayed by a full eight weeks – without any explanation. Several inquiries from us went unanswered, which only increased our concerns about potential planning errors. It was particularly disappointing that the kitchen planner apparently made false statements to cover up the lack of customer communication and the resulting delivery delays. And unfortunately, our fears were confirmed: the kitchen was massively misplanned. Among other things, the back panel was too short, a support wall was missing, there was no planned extractor fan, the dishwasher front was too long, and the existing electrical outlets were completely disregarded. In addition, the installation was faulty: missing handles, the electrical outlets were not reinstalled, the sink was not connected, and the extractor fan was defective and crookedly installed. Even after two additional installation visits, defects remain. An update will follow. Furthermore, we find it incomprehensible that Höffner has shown so little cooperation after all this trouble. Aside from being given a defective extractor fan as a gift, there was absolutely no attempt at cooperation, only either complete silence or attempts to downplay the situation. In short: We would not have expected such poor planning, execution, and customer service from a large furniture store. I recommend avoiding buying a kitchen from them!

If it were up to me, I wouldn't give it any stars at all. Visually, the kitchen is impressive, but the installation was completely inadequate. Several components were installed incorrectly or not at all, and the extractor hood poses a serious safety hazard. You should absolutely not order a kitchen with installation service from this company. Customer service is extremely slow, rude, and completely unhelpful. Instead of providing support, everything is delayed and unnecessarily complicated, which frankly infuriates me. In its current state, the kitchen is unusable for me. The frustration is a daily occurrence, and on top of that, I'm now supposed to deal with a standardized hotline – a definite no for me. My conclusion: steer clear and don't spend any money here.

I just ordered a table and a sofa from Mr. Schmidt; the service was very quick and customer-oriented. Later: The sofa didn't work out, and I also needed four chairs. Mr. Schmidt never got back to me, and his colleagues couldn't help either—no advice at all. I'm quite disappointed—the table is very good quality and easy to assemble, but it's really heavy. I've been to Höffner four times now, and twice the service was rather poor. The children's restaurant and the atmosphere are great, though. The advice in the garden section was also excellent. Unfortunately, when it came to pans and knives, no one there seemed to have a clue.

Very disappointing! During the big Black Friday week, we were looking for sofas. Once we found one, we went to find a salesperson. A little ways away, one of those extremely shy specimens was already watching us. But suddenly, a dominant male appeared from another corner, seemingly to give us his attention. This didn't sit well with the reserved alpha male, as he immediately came over and announced that the couch had already been sold. When we asked him about it, he simply replied, "It's been sold since this morning." 🤔 It all seemed more like he was afraid of losing his commission to a competitor! Incredibly unnecessary behavior.

I'm totally disappointed with this furniture store. Extremely limited selection, few and unmotivated salespeople. The so-called breakfast buffet is an outrage. For €6.90 you get seven items, which includes a slice of sausage or cheese. And a weak coffee.

Ask Guido! (about kitchens) We've been coming to Höffner in Munich-Freiham since it opened. Sometimes just for a meal or a few decorative items. This time, we headed to the kitchen department; we needed a new ceramic sink. Ask Guido!! This is what professional (kitchen) advice down to the smallest detail (e.g., surfaces) should be like! Ask Guido!! Friendly, very experienced, easy to understand, and not at all pushy. Ask Guido!! Even if it's not a huge order, he's always dedicated. Ask Guido!! When he arranges an urgent delivery date for his customers. Ask Guido Zims! He's simply a seasoned pro in this business, and it shows. Many thanks for the excellent advice and the smooth transaction.

Terrible! I signed a purchase agreement and then wanted to cancel it. At the store in Freiham, I encountered such a rude employee. She said that if I didn't keep quiet, she wouldn't accept the cancellation, as she would decide whether to offer a goodwill gesture or not. When I said I was dissatisfied, she called it slander. I felt like I was in a bad movie; I've rarely experienced anything so "crazy" in a store. Then she didn't tell me where I was supposed to go to get the credit from the contract applied. I walked halfway across the store just to get my money back, only to be told I was in the wrong place. Besides that, I'm absolutely dissatisfied with Höffner because getting a refund is a real hassle. You're interrogated, and then you ONLY get a voucher, which is supposed to be sent by email within two weeks—no, you don't get it immediately. Then I received the voucher by email, but you have to download an app first, and then the code doesn't work; you can only use it for online purchases. So when I tried to buy something, I got to the checkout page, and there was no option to use the voucher. So sorry, but I definitely can't recommend Höffner!

Disastrous Customer Service - Defective Sofa Delivered Twice with No Compensation I purchased a sofa for my mother in May (purchase agreement 4305481). It was delivered late in the summer, but without side panels and was unstable. Now, after another half-day of wasted waiting, the sofa was delivered again, this time without side panels! The very friendly driver was extremely embarrassed. When I complained, customer service simply stated that no exchange was possible until April 2026 and that we would have to go back to the store and choose a new sofa, etc. This means yet another ordeal for an 80-year-old, further waiting time, and for me, a wasted day and expense. Even after multiple emails, customer service refused to address this, offering no discount or compensation of any kind, but simply stating that they were within their legal rights and that a fair solution was needed. This is what customer service at Höffner looks like. Two defective products delivered and no attempt whatsoever to retain the customer. Never again Höffner.

👎👎👎 In August 2025, I ordered the goods, including installation. The first delivery in November arrived damaged – completely unusable. On December 8th, another delivery was made, but this time without the agreed-upon installation. Now I have to wait even longer for a new appointment. This is absolutely disappointing: months of delays, damaged goods, and broken promises. This is neither my idea of service nor reliability.

I'm absolutely the only one who's ever given a negative review! 1) Lies and false promises regarding prices and statements like something out of a Turkish bazaar. 2) Salespeople never respond to emails. 3) Phone harassment (8 calls in 10 minutes during work hours). 4) The regional manager also ignored emails for days, then made false statements, incorrect calculations, and showed absolutely no customer focus. No admission of mistakes, etc.! 5) Möbel Höffner in Fürth is 1000 times better and always has better prices – the detour is worth it. Disastrous customer service! Stay away!

I signed my purchase agreement for a kitchen with Höffner on June 20, 2025 – since then, I've experienced nothing but problems, incorrect deliveries, and endless back and forth. Installation on September 2nd and 3rd, 2025: – Incorrect waste collection system delivered (2-compartment instead of the ordered 3-compartment) – As a result, the door couldn't be installed – Additionally, parts of the Easyline set were missing (which were subsequently delivered) On September 5th, 2025, after cleaning the kitchen, we had to file a complaint about silicone residue on the black countertops. I was promised a meeting to resolve the issue on September 29th, 2025. Up to this point, we would have said, yes, these things happen, and it's great that they're taking care of it. On September 29th... Huge disappointment: – Wrong waste system delivered again – The installers even had the wrong cleaning agent to remove the grime → Result: They left without accomplishing anything. On October 1, 2025, I received an email stating that the correct waste system had been ordered – but without a delivery date. When I inquired on October 15, I was simply told "until further notice." Only on October 27, 2025, did I receive a new appointment for November 27, 2025. But the second appointment on November 27, 2025, was also a complete failure: – The grime was not removed – The wrong waste separation system was delivered for the third time On November 28, 2025, I then received three new order confirmations – for a new sink cabinet, all the countertops, and yet another waste system. Apparently, a complete replacement is necessary because they can't seem to get the problems under control. On December 2nd, 2025, a suggested appointment date of January 30th, 2026, finally arrived – over seven months after the purchase agreement! In conclusion: The entire process after ordering has been chaotic, unprofessional, and extremely frustrating. There have been constant incorrect deliveries, missing parts, and absolutely no reliable scheduling. To this day, the kitchen is not finished. And to this day, there has been no offer of compensation. I absolutely cannot recommend Höffner for kitchen installations.

Children's play paradise (free of charge) on the 2nd floor, right next to the restaurant, features a huge ball pit with all sorts of play equipment. There is a separate play area for toddlers. Water is provided. Toilets for children are available.

The four of us ate dinner there every evening for the past few days. We didn't check any reviews beforehand and just decided to be surprised. The price-performance ratio was excellent. The food was always fresh and delicious. The ambiance is a bit 80s, but it was clean. On Sunday and Tuesday, we had very friendly service. We only had a bit of bad luck with the server on Monday. She seemed more interested in talking loudly on her phone in her native language than in attending to the four tables. However, there was a nice young man who more than made up for it, even though he was actually responsible for takeout, not the restaurant. He was really very kind and did a great job. If we're ever in Munich again, we'll definitely come back. Highly recommended.

Beautiful location and terrace. Warm and friendly service. Delicious and creative cuisine. We felt completely at home and will definitely come back when we're looking for a place to stop after a stroll in the Olympic Park.

Instead of the promised 30 to 50 minutes, the food only arrived after an hour and a half, after two follow-up calls and repeated corrections to the delivery time. I get the impression that the incorrect, far too short time was intended to "fish" for my order.

best vietnamese food ever :) i flew 10,000km to visit this restaurant. and ate it 2 days in a row. come here to eat delicious food
