I ordered a kitchen for €15,000 from the store and had to pay a delivery and installation fee of €2,500. The installers were incredibly incompetent and left without even asking me. Despite repeated calls to the furniture store, I'm constantly transferred, but no one can help me. There's no progress; I'm just given the runaround! I even drove another 150 km to the customer service department, but no one could help me there either! Never again Höffner!!!

We wanted to buy a new 2.5-seater reclining sofa for home, so we went to Höffner today. When we arrived in the department and I asked a salesperson, "Excuse me, do you have a moment?", the answer was "No, unfortunately not," and he just walked away! Then I spoke to a second salesperson. He showed me a 2.5-seater reclining sofa that would cost around €5,000, minus the customer card discount. I asked him if there were any other reclining sofas for comparison, and he said, "We have lots," but he refused to show them to us. That means I'm supposed to go and look for them myself (among maybe 10,000 different ones) and figure it out on my own. Otherwise, he said I should just take the one he suggested for €5,000 and buy it today, otherwise I wouldn't get the additional 15% discount. I don't know where the customer service is. They don't seem to care about working, showing us around, etc. They're not even grateful that customers come and shop at Höffner. Who's supposed to pay the salespeople's salaries if not the customers? If customers are so annoyed, they won't come back. All these salespeople desperately need customer service training. Because it's truly abysmal. I'll be shopping at other furniture stores in the future, as the customer service at Höffner is unacceptable. I have to pay and then put up with being rude and annoyed. I don't need that on my only day off.

We visited Höfner about two months ago and again today, and were incredibly lucky to be advised by Mr. K. Wacker – and what can we say? We've truly never experienced anything like it! From our very first conversation, it was clear that this was someone with passion, heart, and genuine enthusiasm for his work. Mr. Wacker was not only extremely competent but also honest, friendly, and patient. He took an incredible amount of time, answered every single one of our questions, and advised us with a calm and friendly demeanor that is rarely found these days. We felt like guests, not just customers. We left the store with huge smiles on our faces and have been telling everyone about this experience ever since. We drove over an hour to Höffner in Munich specifically for our kitchen planning appointment (at 5:30 pm). Upon arrival, we were seated at table 24 and had to wait about 20 minutes for the employee assigned to us. When she finally arrived, it was immediately clear that she wasn't interested in helping us – she pointed out right away that delivery wouldn't be possible again until mid-February anyway. Our measurements were hastily scribbled down on a piece of paper without even turning on the computer. When we asked about prices, she reacted irritably, saying that comparable kitchens started at a minimum of €10,000 – even with the current 40% discount. When we pointed out that this was too expensive for us, she crumpled up the piece of paper right in front of us. Overall, a very unprofessional and disrespectful experience. After the long drive and our anticipation of the kitchen planning, this was a huge disappointment. We will definitely not be implementing our kitchen project at Höffner.

Don't buy large household appliances from them!! First, the delivery was delayed by a day, and then the appliance wasn't delivered at all! Reason: too heavy! They sent two poor foreigners to carry the 170 kg appliance. I paid €20 for their delivery plus service, and despite that, they weren't prepared. They didn't have an electric stair climber or furniture straps!! They simply took the item back. Customer service was supposed to sort things out, but the next day I received an email stating that the order had been canceled and I would get my money back. Never again!! No responsibility, no service – a disappointing experience with Höffner After purchasing a Häcker kitchen with glass fronts (2021), several fronts broke after less than two years – despite normal, careful use. In response to our complaint, instead of a solution-oriented response, we received a standardized rejection letter containing contradictions and shifting the responsibility to the customer. Polymer glass fronts were offered as replacements, but these are neither equivalent nor visually identical, and we would have to pay for them ourselves. The combination of poor product quality and inadequate service, lack of goodwill, and static, contradictory communication has left us very disappointed. Anyone who values durable quality and reliable service should think twice before buying from Höffner.

In July, we ordered a new couch from Mr. Wacker with a delivery date in September. At the end of September, we hadn't heard anything from Höffner. At the beginning of October, we called the furniture store and asked when the couch would arrive. The answer: October 28, 2025. Okay, after almost another month of waiting, the day finally arrived. The couch was delivered. Everything was assembled, everything was in place—we had ordered the couch with a bed/sleeper function, but it was delivered without this feature. We then went straight to Höffner—to Mr. Wacker. Mr. Wacker was very helpful and immediately set about finding the cause of the error. The error was due to a combination that had unfortunately been overlooked. Long story short: The head of the complaints department and Mr. Wacker were very helpful and worked with us to find a solution. We are very happy and received a generous voucher.

Update from October 29th: After my initial review, it took another three weeks before my lawyer received a proposed appointment for today. I inquired about the specific defects that needed to be addressed. No response. Nevertheless, the installers arrived this morning and were unable to fix any of the defects because the correct part was never ordered. This company is a complete disaster and the worst shopping experience I have ever had. We purchased two kitchens a year ago (purchase agreement numbers 4164957 and 4224920). • Consultation: Several serious planning errors (wrong sink, incorrect drawer height, incorrect recommendation for the Quooker). • Installation: Sloppy workmanship, crooked components, damage to the walls, inadequate silicone work. • Customer service: We have been waiting for completion for nine months. Despite repeated attempts to contact them – including through our lawyer – the correct parts have not been ordered, nor have any emails been answered. Conclusion: After this experience – never again! I would absolutely not recommend Höffner to anyone.

We purchased our Light Line 6 wall unit from Höffner Munich-Freiham. After a few years, a wall cabinet fell off the wall due to the chipboard being too thin on the mounting bracket. The wall bracket itself held, but the cabinet material cracked at the mounting bracket—a clear design flaw. Despite contacting them over three weeks ago, customer service has not responded yet. For a product in this price range, both the quality of the materials and the service are disappointing.

On December 2, 2024, we ordered an L-shaped fitted kitchen from Höffner Munich Freiham. The special offer was a 40% discount, and they lured us with a raffle for a Tesla. Our consultant seemed competent. We liked the advice. After we signed the purchase agreement, a fitter came a few weeks later to measure the kitchen. He had a tablet with a distance meter with him, which went well so far. One special feature is that the kitchen is in a 185-year-old house. The kitchen consists of two niches with rounded arches above them. The fitter was overwhelmed with his tablet and only produced a mess that could be anything but a rounded arch. Since I, as an architect myself, already suspected that this wouldn't work, I drew the complete outlines of the kitchen upper and lower cabinets on the walls. I took photos and sent them to the consultant. I also pointed out that it's an old building and the walls are bumpy. The kitchen was supposed to be installed on January 20, 2025. The installers arrived and had to leave without completing the work because the bumpy walls created numerous gaps between the countertop and the wall. A second attempt was then made on March 17. A 65 cm deep countertop was delivered for the right side, but again only a 60 cm deep countertop for the left side. Finally, on the third attempt on March 25, the kitchen was completely installed. The installers didn't take the two cut countertops with them and simply left them lying there. The apartment was supposed to be rented out starting February 1, 2025. We already had a tenant, but they backed out because they urgently needed the apartment. So we had to find another tenant. This resulted in a total loss of four months' rent, amounting to €1,950. We wanted to claim this amount, but Höffner was stubborn and sent us reminders, even threatening to enforce a fine. We then contacted our lawyer, whereupon Höffner threatened legal action, which would cost many times the €1,950. Being right and getting justice are two different things. But the trouble continued. During the kitchen installation, presumably again due to incorrect measurements, a 5cm overhang appeared on both sides of the frosted glass splashback, which looked ridiculous to say the least. No new splashback was delivered until recently. The delivery date was announced for today. Höffner was supposed to call the tenant to say the splashback would be installed today. I called Höffner, but they said they couldn't reach the tenant—believe it or not. The crew then returned to Munich. The new installation date is Wednesday. These experiences show me that large furniture stores are not very customer-friendly, or can Höffner simply not afford the €1,950? These large furniture stores practically always have a "special offer," and the 40% "discount" is already factored in to put pressure on customers. For another construction project, we commissioned a small regional furniture store where the customer is still king. Everything went smoothly there. I advise everyone to ask friends or acquaintances and check the reviews online.

We purchased a kitchen from Höfner five years ago and were very satisfied with the planning work carried out by Mr. Binder. The advice was competent, friendly, and well-thought-out. Unfortunately, after about four years, a defect became apparent: the dishwasher cover plate had come loose because the anchoring was no longer holding. Despite repeated written inquiries to Höfner, I received no concrete solution or repair suggestion other than a short standard email. My request for an appointment was ultimately not responded to, so the problem remains unresolved to this day. I find it particularly disappointing that the warranty is only two years, while other providers offer significantly longer warranties. We would have covered the repair costs ourselves, but we had hoped for at least a solution or support. Since we have purchased a lot of furniture from Höfner in the past, this experience is unfortunately very sobering. We have now contacted an experienced carpenter, Gewand, and he was able to professionally attach the cover plate. Unfortunately, he confirmed our suspicion that the cover plate was not professionally attached. They forgot to attach the barbs as well!!! It's a shame Höffner didn't provide a solution!!!!!!!

UPDATE: 10/7/25 - This morning, the installers suddenly showed up (even though they'd said they wouldn't come because of the parking lot). As it turns out (which was to be expected, since we've only had bad experiences with you), the back panel of my wardrobe was missing. The shoe cabinet was also delivered damaged. (See picture). Respect, you'd think you were dealing with a professional company, but when you still haven't gotten anything done after more than six months, I find that pretty sad. I called customer service, and they weren't really interested. The young lady's answer was, "I can't give you a general date for when the parts will be delivered" - aha. Maybe Höffner will manage to get these two little things finished this year. :) Over six months, dear Höffner team. :) UPDATE: 10/1/25 - I've been waiting six months for the delivery to be installed. Two delivery dates were missed. They've been promising me a call for five days, and I keep having to follow up until I finally get an appointment. Suddenly, they said it's not possible because they have to wait ANOTHER TWO WEEKS! to reserve a parking space! The order was placed on April 1, 2025!!! The first and last time! Not recommended at all, and the customer service is very rude. Now they're trying to ensure delivery on October 16th, which I find absolutely outrageous. From October 7th to MAYBE October 16th! Took 2 delivery dates off from work, lost 2 vacation days for NOTHING! Old: A disaster! I've been waiting for my wardrobe for SEVERAL months! Furthermore, the fitters assembled the beds poorly (box spring beds), so they can't be dismantled normally! When you ask when the wardrobe will be delivered, you're just put off waiting! Not recommended. I'm completely dissatisfied with the service and very upset! I would be delighted if you would at least finally deliver and assemble this wardrobe and the other items we ordered. We didn't pay so much for nothing!

Disaster with Höffner kitchen, 19 weeks have now passed since the first delivery. A part is still missing. 11 weeks without a kitchen at all (!), after the old one was dismantled and the new one not installed properly. After five failed attempts at repairs because the long-awaited waste separation system could not be found, it reappeared a day later and was even installed the same day! Hooray, we're on the home stretch and our paths are finally going to part. Well, almost. The cutlery tray, which has finally been delivered, is much too big and doesn't fit in any of the drawers. After more than three months of hassle, several sleepless nights, and six times waiting for an installation team that arrived between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., my sense of humor is slowly returning. So, if you don't know what to do with your time, just order a Höffner kitchen; it'll keep you busy for a long time! After just 11 weeks, we were even able to cook something again!! Thanks to Höffner? NO! Thanks to SIEMENS! Because the installation team wasn't able to connect the cooktop, Höffner contacted Siemens customer service – on my behalf!? They (Team4) connected a cable, and it worked. Siemens didn't charge us for the service as a gesture of goodwill because they "didn't want us to have to bill Höffner for the work (see below)." That's absurd, but thanks, SIEMENS! What can you actually do wrong in a 3.5 m kitchen without wall cabinets, and how long does it take to fix the problems? - Faucet missing - 5 weeks - Induction cooktop not working - 11 weeks - Sink base cabinet front not installed - 14 weeks - Waste separation system missing, disappears, then reappears - 14 weeks - Faucet connected incorrectly - 14 weeks - Incorrect drain set - forever - Drawers not properly adjusted - 14 weeks - Refrigerator door scrapes - 14 weeks - Cutlery tray missing, then delivered incorrectly - open On May 24, 2025, the kitchen, which had been finally ordered in March, was delivered, or rather, most of the individual parts. For 11 weeks after this date, there was no usable kitchen, and Höffner offered no statement as to when all the defects would be remedied. Assembly team 1 was not commissioned to dismantle the old kitchen as contractually agreed, but then did so after consultation. There were stains on the wall. An installer assured us he was an expert, the lightweight wall was "soaked with water" and would "collapse in the next 1-2 years," meaning it would have to be demolished and rebuilt. Uncertain, and even though we laypeople couldn't detect any moisture, we decided to have it checked. Two days later, a real expert arrived with a measuring device and confirmed that the wall was completely dry. A new installation date was scheduled 5 weeks later. Despite explaining the situation, even after many phone calls, no concessions were forthcoming. So, 5 weeks without a kitchen, during which the parts took up half the room. On June 28, 2025, installation team 2 arrived, but had only scheduled 2 hours and then disappeared after 2 hours without having finished assembling the kitchen. A complaint. Installation team 3 arrived just one week later. They couldn't complete the installation because the waste separation system had been missing since the first delivery date, meaning the front of the sink base cabinet couldn't be installed. And the induction hob didn't work. ``` The installation teams always come on Saturdays. Customer service is unavailable then, and complaints can only be submitted on Monday, if they can reach someone. So far, there have been more than 30 phone attempts. The number provided for complaints always only answers an automatic number, and the answering machine then hangs up. I visited customer service twice in person, and very friendly ladies took all of my complaints. But even these cannot influence the resolution of the defects. As so often before, I'm waiting for Höffner again.

The kitchen my family and I ordered arrived only half-finished. For months, we've been without an oven, a dishwasher cover, and so on. Now, after legal action, we've gotten our money back, and the kitchen is being taken away. Mind you, we haven't been able to cook properly for months because there isn't even an exhaust system in the kitchen. I wonder how the most important components of a kitchen can arrive so faulty for the amount of money we're paying...

Today I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr. Regenfuss from the kitchen department. We were looking for an undermount extractor hood. After several failed attempts at local kitchen studios, we tried Möbel Höffner in Munich. Mr. Regenfuss from the kitchen department provided us with excellent service and advice, which is unfortunately no longer a given these days. He went to great lengths to find a suitable hood, as our kitchen is quite old. He even contacted the kitchen manufacturer to find out the exact dimensions of the hood. Now that's what I call customer service. The hood was delivered and installed last week. Many thanks again to Mr. Regenfuss for the very courteous and competent advice. We would be happy to come back.

Instead of the promised 30 to 50 minutes, the food only arrived after an hour and a half, after two follow-up calls and repeated corrections to the delivery time. I get the impression that the incorrect, far too short time was intended to "fish" for my order.

We were at Asia again yesterday, October 3rd...we've been customers there for many years. Yesterday we arrived around 7pm and waited 10-15 minutes until the lady registered us. Then suddenly she said "no more today"...!! Then we said that she was open for another hour. All she replied was "no, nothing, lots of orders". I asked "please what?" and the cook asked me in an indecent tone "what?" Then I said "boss, what are you whining about? I mean, just tell me you're not taking any more orders, you're making us wait another 15 minutes." To which he replied "it's just food". I mean, hey, what's the point of that statement and the nerve to make us wait for nothing? It's over for us...Still, the food is excellent. We then went to the Chinese restaurant on Karl-Theodor-Str.
