A very busy restaurant. Be sure to reserve a table. Sat food is very tasty. The service is very accommodating.🥰 Due to the high demand, arriving guests often stand and wait for free seats. We also had a few four-legged friends who made themselves a little louder.🐶

Great atmosphere, staff very friendly and competent and the sushi from the master was incomparably delicious! We got 3 different wasabi: once pure from the tuber freshly grated at the table (surprisingly mild), once from the wasabi leaves and once from wasabi powder (mixed with water to form a mass). All recommended. We'll be back!

We ate an appetizer and various sushi rolls on site. The prices are a little higher, but it was very tasty and we had very nice and attentive service. The restaurant is very nicely decorated and offers a good selection of different dishes and drinks.

Now we had to take a look at your place because friends said that your restaurant was simply great. And we can only confirm that. The quality of the food and the service here are at the highest level. We didn't have a reservation and came spontaneously and it was packed and you were greeted warmly at the reception and everything was done to find a place. You immediately felt very welcome, that's how gastronomy should work. We ordered a sushi platter for 2 and were very excited. The service was super nice and also explained to us what kind of sushi was on our plate 👍 We will definitely come back and recommend you 100%. Thank you very much..

Please do not ask every guest if they want a bottle of water, this is very unprofessional and unpleasant. And if guests arrive at 1:30 p.m. you don't necessarily have to give a small table in an empty restaurant because they close at 3 p.m. anyway and have enough space. Otherwise everything is fine

One of the best Asian fusion restaurants far and wide. I like coming here. Incredibly delicious, diverse aromas and new tastes. The young team is very ambitious, attentive and extremely hospitable. It's rare these days. The quality of the food and preparation is convincing. You can get over the high prices or are they justified? Nevertheless, it must be clear that a visit to MITO will not be cheap.

The food is absolutely top, the selection is extensive, everything is nicely prepared. The ambience is typical and stylish. However, in the middle of it all, you have the feeling of being drowned out by the noise level of the surrounding tables and therefore become louder yourself.

In this review we can only give our impression of a sushi evening. Sitting in the restaurant is very comfortable. The staff is consistently very friendly and attentive. We felt very welcome as guests. If you go there very hungry, you can still order more at any time, despite the sushi platter for 3 people. Reservations are strongly recommended on weekends.

Drinks were okay, everything else is crap. Waited 1:15 hours for the food even though we had only ordered the supposed menu for 2 people. You couldn't order anything from the waitress. I even had to get the card myself and even then no one felt addressed. I finally went to the counter and paid straight away and we left. The menu would have been more appropriate for one person. The sashimi smelled very strange and the wasabi could no longer be described as wasabi. It was just a dried up ball. For the price it's an absolute disgrace. Really disappointing.

The food tasted very good and the service was always there as soon as drinks or other requests were made. Top! Very nice location and ambience. What's a bit annoying is that if you sit in the entrance area, it's very intrusive when guests come or go, a vestibule would be helpful here. The fact that the restaurant's telephone often rings near the table is also a bit annoying. Otherwise, the food was really tasty, although the portions could have been a bit larger for the price. The sushi platter for two left you feeling full, despite the starter.

The restaurant was recommended to me by friends. From a purely visual perspective, it was a real experience. It was also incredibly tasty. The menu really offers a very wide selection and variety for every taste. Very great restaurant, the visit becomes a real experience.

I got to know this restaurant through a team Christmas party. Extremely friendly staff. Great service and the food came quickly, looked great and was very tasty. The portion size was also reasonable. The price is a bit high but in my opinion absolutely justified. Very extensive map. A small point of criticism: the map is not easy to read due to the darker atmosphere. I saw several guests who then used the flashlight function on their cell phones to help themselves. All in all it was a great evening in the restaurant.

Jeder Aufenthalt ein positives Erlebnis. Der freundliche und kompetente Umgang mit den Gästen ist auf sehr hohem Niveau. Wir können dieses Restaurant in allen Belangen ausnahmslos empfehlen. Die Speisen sind extra Klasse und werden, obwohl fast immer komplett ausgebucht, in angemessener Zeit und auch noch ausreichend warm, serviert. Das Personal ist sehr aufmerksam zum Beispiel wenn es um das nachfüllen der Weingläser geht. Man sollte dieses Restaurant unbedingt einmal erleben. Das wird dann auch nicht das letzte Mal gewesen sein. Einfach nur toll. Man geht nach Hause und freut sich über den tollen Abend.

For me the best restaurant the north of Leipzig has to offer. Reservations are always a bit adventurous, but both the service and food on site and for delivery are simply fantastic.

Great service. The jacket was immediately taken off and hung up; you don't find something like this everywhere these days. Drinks delicious and nicely presented. The sushi was also great! It was well prepared and there was nothing to complain about in terms of taste 10/10. Definitely recommended!

Wir hatten einen Tisch reserviert. Beim ankommen wurde uns gleich mitgeteilt, dass wir nur 2 Stunden Zeit haben. Wir wollten einen schönen Abend haben, was aber durch diese Ansage etwas zunichte gemacht wurde. Das Essen war aber wie immer sehr, sehr gut.

Nos alojamos en el hotel de al lado. No esperábamos encontrar un buen restaurante en el barrio. ¡Nos equivocamos!

In my opinion one of the best addresses for Asian Fusion / Sushi in Leipzig. Special requests will be addressed without comment. Starter and sushi was unusual and really outstanding. The drinks mixed perfectly. Dessert too. It's definitely not cheap, but worth every penny. It should be noted that it is always equally good. Was there for the fourth time and was never disappointed.

Das Personal ist super freundlich und zuvorkommend, das moderne Ambiente sorgfältig gestaltet dass Essen sehr lecker und definitiv den Preis wert. Wir werden gern wieder hier essen!

Wir waren das erste mal im Mito und habe einen sehr schönen Abend dort verbracht. Wir haben mehrere kleine Vorspeisen gegessen und ein Hauptgericht. Alle Gerichte haben uns sehr gut geschmeckt waren mit viel Liebe angerichtet, der Service war ausgesprochen freundlich. Wir können dieses Restaurant bedenkenlos weiterempfehlen und jeder der das erste Mal dort einkehrt wird wahrscheinlich dieselben Erfahrungen machen, die wir auch gemacht haben, viel Spaß im Mito.

The service is very attentive, the food is of high quality and beautifully and lovingly prepared. All very stylish and well made. It's no longer an insider tip, it's better to reserve in advance!

Mega delicious Asian fusion cuisine with super nice staff

Wir waren bereits zum zweiten Mal hier Essen und es war wieder unglaublich. Der Preis für die Gerichte ist absolut gerechtfertigt. Ich habe noch nie so gutes Sushi gegessen. Der Fisch war zart und zerging auf der Zunge. Überhaupt ist das Essen ein Geschmackserlebniss. Wir hatten das Double-Trouble Menü, zu dem es noch eine Vorsuppe gab, einfach ein Gedicht. Der Service ist unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit, ohne dabei aufdringlich zu sein. Sie haben Empfehlungen bezüglich des Menüs gegeben, sehr gute Mitarbeiter. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich, asiatisch beeinflusst, aber nicht überladen. Wir waren definitiv nicht das letzte Mal dort.

Everything was satisfactory, from the staff to the restaurant's customer service. But everything caught us by surprise as we thought we had ordered the wrong dish or the waitresses had accidentally brought the wrong dish. A sushi plate for two people that couldn't have been more boring: a simple crunchy roll, a salmon maki and a kappamaki, 3 pieces of sashimi, 6 pieces of nigiri and one of the leanest salmon I.O. Roles I've ever seen. All we got was a sushi plate for 2 people which wasn't even decorated nicely, just arranged neatly on the plate. I've experienced sushi restaurants in other cities, including some more expensive ones. But tonight I could only react with disappointment. I hope the restaurant will change because that way the owner will surely make a lot of profit. Unfortunately I won't be returning even though the ambience and staff were very friendly.

We recently had a meal there. Nicely decorated and very nice staff. Drinks came quickly. Unfortunately we were forgotten about the main course, but we were offered a dessert on the house to make up for it. All in all it was very tasty and I can only recommend it.

Aufgrund exzellenter Bewertungen auf der Wettbewerbsplattform von Google hatte ich unsere Geschäftsessen in diesem Lokal gebucht und meine Erwartungen wurden übertroffen. Das Restaurant befindet sich in einem etwas außerhalb der Stadt und Infrastruktur gelegenen Gegend von Leipzig, man rechnet hier nicht mit einen solchen Lokal. Wer mit dem Auto anreist, findet einen schönen zum Lokal gehörigen Parkplatz. Durch den sehr schönen großen Innenraum des Lokals gelangt man auf die hintere Terrasse (dezente Loungemusik, später am Abend farbliche Beleuchtung der Pflanzen an der Begrenzungsmauer). Der Empfang des Personals war sehr zuvorkommend, die Getränke wurden schnell serviert (u.a. gibt es frisch gezapftes Kirinbier), die Auswahl der Speisen ist groß - hier kommt jeder auf seine Kosten, der es mit asiatischer/japanischer Küche „kann“. Zudem wird man vom Service auf Tagesgerichte aufmerksam gemacht. Die Weinkarte ist klein gehalten, die Auswahl aber dennoch ausreichend. Die Qualität der Speisen hat uns drei voll überzeugt, die Präsentation der Gerichte ist sehr gelungen, es hat alles perfekt gestimmt. Final glänzen wir uns noch Cocktails, die allesamt perfekt gemixt waren. Fazit: eine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung für das MITO. Arigato… und auf bald

I often said that I was REALLY allergic to chili and at the end of the evening I had to take 3 allergy tablets because there was some in the food. I emphasized several times that there really shouldn't be anything wrong with it and yet the allergic reaction was clear. Luckily, after the 3rd tablet, it went without an emergency doctor.
