The ambience is also very appealing: a stylish diner design that creates a cozy and authentic atmosphere. The service was friendly, attentive and quick. Overall a great experience - I'll definitely be back!

Waited for 1 hour and 15 minutes for the food to arrive. It was a busy night and they seemed understaffed, so I did not complain. However, the burgers were cold, fries were cold and hard as well. This was very disappointing to say the least. The waiter offered apologies and to prepare a new order saying it would not take an hour this time. We passed on the offer, he did offer coffee we declined as well. On the bill, a drink was subtracted nonetheless. We always stop at a MD pepper when I Germany, this time it was a very poor experience, hope it will not happen again soon as this is a nice place for burgers.

Once again experiencing a real American feeling in Germany 👌🏿 A good place to do that.

Update: After five years, I happened to stop by here again this afternoon and treated myself to a 180g bacon cheeseburger with fries. It was really good and so were the fries. The service was also friendly and I still think the location is great. In my opinion, a significant improvement. ------------------------ The location is amazing, well done. Service unfriendly. Instead of a greeting, we immediately receive an “announcement” that we sat down at a table and didn’t wait until we were picked up and seated at the entrance. However, if no one is standing there, there is no way to know. The food came quickly and was average. No one came by to pay for a long time and we stood at the counter where other guests were already standing. It took a very long time until someone showed up who wasn't responsible and wanted to get a colleague who had obviously already finished work and left the house. Although the restaurant was very empty, there were far too long waiting times. The personnel organization appears chaotic. This is the second time this has happened to us.

We go to this restaurant several times and that's why I'm taking the liberty of writing you a review. Basically, the first thing I would like to say is that the food there is very tasty and both the citizens and the spare ribs are absolutely recommended. Unfortunately, it takes an incredibly long time to get assigned a table when you get there. Once you make it to a table, you sometimes wait over an hour for your order. Once you have received the food and the children have been given a children's menu, for example, they wait almost 45 minutes until the ice cream is brought to the table. Unfortunately, this can lead to you skipping the ice cream in the evening because the children have to go to bed at some point. In summary, it can be said that the service on site could be significantly improved. The employees are all nice and accommodating, unfortunately the speed is a real problem. Is “Miss Pepper” in Bornheim recommended? Definitely yes, if you have the time and can make some compromises when it comes to the speed of the service. The atmosphere is fine and you feel a little like you're in the USA. We spent an average of €40 for a meal and drinks for an adult and €12 for children.

Ein Besuch bei Miss Peppers ist immer eine Überraschung. Das Essen könnte etwas weniger convenience bieten, dafür mehr frische und humanere Preise. Das Interieur ist typisch amerikanisch und sehr schön. Die Bedienung ist manchmal nicht ausreichend geschult. Aber meistens freundlich. Die Shakes sind lecker und auch im Aussenbereich lässt es sich bei schönem Wetter gut sitzen. Die Burger sind guter Durchschnitt. Das Knoblauchbaguette ist meiner Meinung nach etwas zu teuer.

Update May 2024: Today our order was forgotten/brought incorrectly several times. We ended up waiting over half an hour to be able to pay (and it wasn't busy). The highlight, however, was when we were given a note when paying that was significantly higher than the amount we had to pay. Without a comment, the excess amount was withheld from both me and my colleague! When I asked, the change was thrown onto the table very reluctantly and with an ironic comment. I have never experienced something like that. Thumbs down!

Huge shop and only one waitress, whose mood is reflected by the workload. Food comes with a Chinese robot. The food itself is OK, but not outstanding either. Cleanliness also leaves something to be desired. Window sills at the tables, where arms are automatically placed, were like a kind of fly traps where you get stuck. This is also due to the fact that only one girl has to run a whole shop.

We celebrated a birthday there and the food was really delicious! The milkshakes are also very good! The attention was very friendly!

Extremely disappointing! For once, we took some money to have a really good meal. Unfortunately, I made the wrong investment. An Angus double cheeseburger with sweet potatoes was ordered. Cost around 30€. The burger was brought by the robot, the entertainment value was great. Not the food at all. You had to cut the burger with a steak knife. The meat was fried to death and it was unpleasant in the mouth. Chewing experience like old gray bread. Taste wise - ok. After the first bite, I informed the waiter about it. Unfortunately there was no reaction. Neither from the kitchen nor from anywhere else. Opinion and conclusion: When I spend that much money on a burger, I expect the quality to match. Fresh, medium fried and accordingly prepared sensibly. This quality simply didn't exist. Instead, you have to assume TK goods. And no matter which animal had to lose its life for this, it in no way justifies killing the animal again on the grill! Never again Miss PeppeR! Service is generally good. Even if as a waiter you can do relatively little about bad food. Ambiance is nice. Food is no good!

The burgers are too expensive for what is on offer. Some of the seats are pretty broken. The staff, however, is super nice, friendly, helpful and attentive.

The food was good. However, you are under a lot of time pressure and it takes quite a long time for the food to arrive. What is not possible at all, however, is if you have ordered something non-alcoholic, you get something with alcohol! Something like that is absolutely impossible and the reason we definitely won't be coming back.

This time it was the first time that both the burger we ordered and the side dishes arrived at the table really hot - great, that's how it should always be.

It's good to go there for a quick meal. Of course, more fast food than a gourmet restaurant :-). But fast food that tastes good to me and is light years better than a very, very common international burger chain. Thumbs up!

The prices are really tough! 1.5 liters of soft drink for €12 and from €17 for a burger dish. The service staff pointed out the long waiting time when we were seated, but they were very accommodating the entire time. A simple lunch for 4 was €70 today. Unfortunately the taste wasn't convincing.

I promised myself more of it. The spare ribs weren't crispy, the fries were tasty, but very expensive at €4.95. The edible bowls in which French fries, mayo, etc. are served are good. The service robot is quite funny.

The staff was friendly and we were able to sit down without a reservation. The table was cleaned quickly. The drinks took 20-30 minutes to arrive and then came one after the other. Unfortunately, the milkshake wasn't very chilled and had too much cream on top. The fries were cold, the Spicy Angus Burger was just lukewarm to warm, still edible. Unfortunately the Special Angus had cooled down. The Twister is very hot. The nice man at the service apologized, which we thought was good. It's just a shame that the food wasn't convincing. Ambiance is nice. What's not so nice is that all the customers are cramped in one half and the other half of the restaurant is empty. Apparently due to personnel. The only thing that surprised us was that the waiter basically worked alone. There's probably something wrong with the division/organization. One “swims”, the other “leads”.

From the reception onwards it was a great evening with the family. The food was tasty and sufficient. What was a highlight for the children was the little robot that drove the food around the restaurant. The dessert and the shake were really very good. And our waiter at the table was the best. Funny and really very nice. So all in all, a lovely evening.

A reservation is really helpful for everyone. The food was really tasty and the service was so outstanding that I had to write this review on the way back. Friendly, understanding and always with a smile on his face. The children were blown away by the cat robot. Thank you to everyone who made this evening so wonderful.

We wanted to order for pickup for the first time. Put everything you want in the shopping cart, then press payment. A message appears, unfortunately there is an error, we should please order again. So go back to the menu and look: 1. The menu has been changed (things we wanted to order were suddenly missing) 2. the dishes had become 5% more expensive (main course burger from 20.80 to 22 euros). This happened during Miss Pepper Bornheim's opening hours. Maps may be changed and prices adjusted, no question, but not during opening hours. Sorry, no go, we have canceled the ordering process.

Hello, We stopped by yesterday spontaneously and were there for the second time. This time in great weather and accompanied by our lab retriever Poldi. Nice seats outside and our sir was immediately brought a bowl of water to the table without asking ❤️👌great! Our burger was super tasty and, given the medium portion, very sufficient. The service was extremely nice and on the ball, despite two larger groups that had to be served at the same time. What struck me very positively was the willingness to help among the staff. Colleague immediately supported and helped colleague with XL tray of drinks!! We'd love to come back!

To eat: I had the Cheesy Cheese Burger Giant. Unfortunately, based on the pictures I was expecting a large patty and was then disappointed with two small, misshapen patties. The burger was prepared “okay”. But the taste was absolutely inedible!! The patties were absolutely disgusting, regardless of the fact that they visually had nothing to do with the pictures, they were unseasoned, not juicy and frankly disgusting. The mozzarella sticks tasted like the cheap ones from the Hartz4 shelf, there was a tomato on them that wasn't on the list of ingredients, the rest of the ingredients were okay. I stopped about halfway through the burger because the meat made me sick and I went to the toilet. The Twister fries were outstanding. The service staff was nice, but listless. There was no question as to why I didn't eat more than half of it, the plate was cleared away while I went to the toilet. The ambience was great, already nicely decorated for Halloween, you can't complain about that. In terms of price, I paid €23 for this burger and the Twister, which was absolutely unjustified for the product delivered. All in all, this will be my last visit.

I ordered a delicious steak with potato wedges, or so I thought... Delicious? No, not even close. After I explained to the waitress that you can't eat it, she explained to me that it isn't meat at all. Afterwards I really felt guilty because I wanted to have a conversation with a vegan about what beef meat should or shouldn't taste like... Dear waitress, please never mention something like that to a guest if you work in a restaurant where the only food served is meat. Doesn't go down so well. The steak smelled and tasted really terrible. It was taken back without any problem and I switched to Schnitzel Holstein style. Well, schnitzel, in a very thin version. My conclusion, this food chain is for people who can't appreciate what meat is and just want to be full. I'd rather eat my steak in a real steakhouse again. 😉

Even though we had reserved, we initially had to wait about 20 minutes for our table. But that's the only negative point, because the food, drinks and the friendliness of the service were amazing. Would go here again and again. But you actually have to reserve early enough.

10 minutes of waiting before someone decided to assign us a table. 30 minutes waiting time before the order was even taken. (Very friendly) The food wasn't exactly warm/hot when it came to the table. It's a shame for a lot of money.

No more! We waited at the entrance for 15 minutes!!! Employees walked past us every second without saying “hello” or anything… Yes, there was something going on, but there were still probably 20-25 tables free! After the 15 minutes of no attention, we left the store. Appreciation towards customers is something different.
