Wow! As soon as we sat down, we were immediately served delicious lentil soup and a plate of dips and salad as a welcome gift from the kitchen. We ordered a Miran plate, which was more than enough for the two of us, and we even took some leftovers home with us. The food was really very good, the meat grilled perfectly. We highly recommend stopping by and letting yourself be pampered with culinary delights ❤️ If you want truly authentic food, you can't miss a visit to the Gaarden district. There are great restaurants and lots of friendly people there.

Very tasty food in a family-friendly atmosphere, very large portions, and a relatively reasonable bill in the end. We really enjoyed the small soup we received at the very beginning. This wonderful Arabic bread was served with all the dishes. And because we couldn't finish everything, we were allowed to pack the leftovers in portion containers. Our only criticism is that card payments aren't accepted.

Very tasty and a good portion! The lamb in the soup was succulent and juicy, and the kebab was crispy and meaty. Served with bread and beans, you're not going to leave hungry :))

This place is good, The portions are huge, and the food is tasty. Kebab is fluffy juicy inside crispy outside, yummy! Besides all that ,they give you a free soup at the beginning, which I think is the first time I’ve seen a German restaurant offer a pre-meal snack. Overall I like the place.

Absolutely unbeatable value for money. Homemade minced skewer with a high proportion of lamb and homemade ayran for 10 euros. There is always a delicious homemade soup as a free starter. The ayran and the bread were some of the best I have ever eaten, the minced skewer was also one of the best, very high quality and delicious. Ayran was also very tasty and the soup was great. Highly recommended considering the quality is so cheap it's unbelievable!

Absolute recommendation! We'll be back *.* Curious through YT, we tested 3 of them. First impression: very clean and tidy, smartly furnished and friendly staff. We hadn't quite sat down yet before we got the lentil soup - super tasty! While we were still studying the menu we were served two sample/salad plates. (It wasn't even clear at the time whether we would find/order something - I thought it was great. :) ) Sure, tastes are different and personally I don't like dill, so the cucumber salad wasn't for me, but the hummus 😬 We then ordered a kebab plate, Miran platter and lamb skewer with biryani (I first had to find out what it was, which was explained very nicely to me!) and I'm in love - I'll try to cook it🤤 There was also a bread basket with 5 huge flatbreads, all super tasty (that sour seasoning on the Miranteller chicken was really good and the minced meat skewer: super crispy on the outside and yet juicy on the inside) for just over €50, the three of us rolled out of there.

We ate very delicious kebab, the perfect Erbil kebab is delicious, number 10.

The team - super great Sweet, friendly, humorous. If you are open, you will receive an incredibly familiar welcome and be well looked after. Ayran is always fresh, as is the entire menu! The tea is hot, strong and freely available No matter what you are there, you will never be disappointed and extra portions or special requests are no problem. My husband and I are very, very grateful for these people and the restaurant. It's like a short break from home and wanderlust You can make reservations, pick up food and have leftovers and more packed up to take away 8000 stars!

I drove to Kiel from another city because I heard a lot of good things about this restaurant. Unfortunately my first impression was rather disappointing. Despite my comment that I had come specifically, I wasn't even greeted, which I found to be rude. I placed a large take-out order, including a mixed salad plate - I wasn't even asked what type of salad I wanted. I also later saw on the note that an item had been calculated twice, that shouldn't happen. The food itself was good in taste, but not as outstanding as I expected based on the positive reviews. My expectations were high, but in the end it was “okay” but not exceptional. Overall, my experience was mixed: the food was okay, but unfortunately the service and attention to detail were not convincing.

First of all, there is free soup and a delicious salad plate with great hummus and tabbouleh. The skewers are delicious, juicy, tender and have a nice grilled aroma. The sour (!) chicken skewer in particular is a real taste experience. The Ayran also tastes excellent.

Very good Kurdish food, I saw the shop at Abu Goku on the YouTube channel and I can only say that every kilometer was worth it!!!

I became aware of this store through YouTube, so expectations were high, but unfortunately they weren't really fulfilled. I liked the soup beforehand and the small salad plate was good, but for the main course the Adana skewer actually had hardly any taste. Normally I'm used to an Adana being well seasoned, but this one was very bland. The chicken skewer was pickled sour, I didn't like it at all and left most of it behind. The side dishes were okay but the cold bread wasn't really convincing. Maybe it just didn't suit our taste, but we won't be coming back.

Ordered to take away. Unfortunately I received the completely wrong order. I ordered 2 kebabs, a chicken skewer and a lamb skewer. I got an Adana skewer and a bean soup and bread, lots of bread. Unfortunately I live 40km away and don't drive back. It's a real shame, I was looking forward to my meal.

We were there with three adults and two small children. The food was very tasty and well prepared. The service was super friendly and the food was absolutely authentic and delicious. We will come back very often.

We became aware of the Miran Restaurant through a YouTube video by AboGurko - and the visit absolutely surprised us! As soon as you arrive there is soup and a small appetizer before you have even ordered. I usually only know such details from high-priced restaurants, which makes the experience all the more special. In terms of taste, it was outstanding: an impressive variety of flavors, prepared fresh and of high quality. There is also a warm, super friendly staff that makes the visit even more pleasant. The only disadvantage: There is no card payment. But overall it was one of the best experiences in Kiel in terms of taste – absolutely recommended!

It's important to know that there is no need to worry about it. It's empty now. A very good restaurant, the taste is good and the service is excellent.

The food is really tasty and the portions are generous. This means that 4 stars are absolutely justified because, after all, you go there to eat. The star deduction is for the cleanliness and the ambience... much more would be possible. Unfortunately it only has the charm of a chip shop. Pimp your shop and especially the toilets then it will do justice to your delicious food.

The normal kebab in the bread is very small (see picture) and minced meat is added to the meat. It's an interesting idea in theory, but not if all the meat has little taste and is completely cold after 10 minutes. The kebab cost €6 and would be a snap if it were normal size, but in combination with the meat and the unmixed contents, it's a joke. As you can see in the picture, it only consisted of 3 ingredients and didn't have any sauce, The second star is only for the vegetables, which were really very fresh and didn't seem soggy. I really hope this was just a mishap on their part, but on a Sunday at 6pm with a closing time of 10pm you have relatively few excuses. Overall, not recommended, a complete waste of money if you're expecting something belly-filling.

Dangerous and irresponsible – disappointing experience I have been a loyal guest at Miran Restaurant for years, but my last visit was shocking and unacceptable. Another guest insulted me in the worst possible way, spit in my face and even pulled a knife out of the cutlery basket. Instead of throwing the man out of the restaurant, he was simply thrown away, obviously an acquaintance of the restaurant. When I refused to pay for my meal, the manager showed no understanding and became loud. His statement that he couldn't do anything about the behavior of his guests was disrespectful and ignorant. This behavior is irresponsible and shows that neither guest safety nor good service is a priority. I will never enter this restaurant again and advise everyone not to.

Prices okay, food okay, but everything else: lousy. 4 people are supposed to eat, there are 3 forks, no knives, almost all of the plates have chipped sharp edges due to their age, drinks and fries were forgotten, the table wasn't really clean AND no card payment. I had to go back to the card machine, which was 500 meters away, because the one nearby was broken. All in all, it was anything but pleasant. Again ? No thanks.

Best food Kurdi food It was my first time to taste the kurdi food in Kiel fantasrik restorant.

We became aware of this restaurant through a tip and also a YT video from AbuGoku. So we went at lunchtime on Saturday, there was still enough space around 1 p.m. We were handed the menu, shortly afterwards a lentil soup and a small plate of dips. We asked if we could mix something up, dishes were available with one skewer (7eu) and two (12eu). We took the kebab skewer, as well as the Adana and the chicken pieces. Plus white and yellow rice and two drinks. (Invoice 37eu) Our order came after a short wait. Skewers were freshly grilled on site and the bread was baked. As I tried everything, skewers were very juicy and crispy on the outside, perfect. The chicken pieces are different because they were marinated in sour. They had a kind of vinegar note, but were still very good. The two types of rice were also very good. Portions are generous. We can only recommend a visit to anyone who wants to try Kurdish cuisine.

Wir waren spät Nachmittags dort und die Mitarbeiter mit denen wir gesprochen haben waren sehr freundlich! Der Tisch wurde frisch sauber gemacht. Jeder Spieß hat super geschmeckt, den wir probiert haben. Das Hähnchen muss extra hervorgehoben werden (12/10) Suppe ebenfalls richtig gut. Generell alles was wir probiert haben. SchwarzenTee kann man sich ohne Probleme selbst ziehen und genießen. Es wird sehr vieles Selbstgemacht was man einfach schmeckt. Empfehle das Restaurant weiter! Über das Ambiente lässt sich streiten aber gibt nichts zu meckern. Super freundlich, super lecker gewesen!
