A beautifully designed restaurant next to the Waldorf swimming pool. Thai and Vietnamese dishes. The service is very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious and the portions were more than adequate. There are many gluten-free options, and the staff is well-trained in this regard. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately, quite a few things have changed since the last menu update. Crispy baked meat (chicken/duck) is no longer available, and fried noodles are also gone. They used to serve more torpedo prawns, but now they've cut back on those while raising the prices. The sauces have also become very thin and are absolutely awful. At €4-5 more per dish, it's simply not worth it, and we'd rather find a new place! The service and ambiance remain the same, and we have no complaints there, but our conclusion is: not recommended, and we won't be returning to Mint. Sadly.

The terrace above the lake offers a fantastic view, and the staff is friendly, even if the service seems a bit untrained. But that doesn't matter; it's not a Michelin-starred restaurant, unless you count the stars in the evening sky.

I went out to eat with a large group. There were a few mix-ups when ordering, but the service was very quick and friendly and resolved the confusion satisfactorily. My food tasted good and arrived on time. If you sit outside, as we did, you have a lovely view of the lake right next to the restaurant. Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant, even though the menu doesn't offer as much variety as it used to.

The restaurant was very comfortably furnished. The service was friendly and served the dishes for seven people promptly. The plates were well preheated using hot plates. The food was very tasty, the sauces flavorful, and the chicken crispy as requested. The only thing I would like to note is that I'm used to receiving plum liqueur at the end, which unfortunately wasn't the case.

It took a long time before we could order drinks. At least 10 minutes. When we saw the next server at the table, he wanted to know what we wanted to order. I said I thought he was finally bringing us the drinks and menus we'd ordered 10 minutes ago. It took a long time again, so I got the menus myself. The food was okay, but not remotely Thai-style. It would have been a bit better with fish sauce and chili. There's plenty of room for improvement. You can practically feel the staffing shortage and the struggle for survival in the restaurant industry. But this isn't going to make things better.

Too much oil, too much fish sauce, and the consistency was too thick. All the Asian ingredients were there, yes, but it lacked freshness and balance. Umami and filling aren't enough for me personally.

Absolutely not. We ordered a spicy Asian salad with grilled shrimp that was supposed to be flambéed at the table (8 pieces). Neither the number of shrimp nor the side dishes were correct, and it was spicy... well, when we asked, they just said there was nothing we could do and that the flambéing would be done in the kitchen. Despite asking twice, we received no apology or anything else. When we asked them the third time while paying, they reacted very rudely, even rudely. That can make you angry as a guest. Despite the crowds, you should leave a restaurant feeling good.

I had the best steak of my life at a Thai restaurant; it was incredibly perfectly prepared and flavored. The Thai-style asparagus with curry, ginger, chili, lemongrass, and coconut was the absolute highlight. The staff is also incredibly friendly; even though we arrived right before the kitchen closed, they conjured up a culinary miracle for us.

A nice location in itself, with an outdoor terrace, which is certainly nice in good weather and offers a beautiful view of the greenery. However, the rest of the menu needs to be up to scratch, and that still needs work. First impression: menus smeared with grease, the table: semi-clean. The food and drinks menu is extensive, but at reasonable prices (water tab €4). The actual meal arrived after 35 minutes. Beforehand, we were asked several times if we wanted more drinks. However, the waiter didn't notice the dirty hot plates or the dust on the table lamps. The previous customer's toothpick was still in one of our hot plates. There were also splashes of sauce from previous orders. The food was rather average. For four people, the bill came to €130. Three-quarters of the rest of the evening at home was spent with rumbling stomachs.

Wir waren früher schon in der 'Orchidee'. Jetzt nach dem Umzug und der Neueröffnung noch besser geworden. Und es war früher schon sehr gut. Für mich immer noch das beste Thai-Restaurant im Umkreis. Wir waren am Wochenende wieder hier, sehr lecker. Es ist gerade Spargel-Saison, das rote Thai-Curry mit knusprigem Hühnchen und Spargel ist eine Empfehlung wert.

Ich war mit meinem Geschäftspartner im Restaurant. Die Bedienung war sehr unfreundlich, das Thaicurry mit knusprigem Hähnchen war sehr trocken und der Reis stundenlang aufgewärmt. Wir wurden ignoriert und es war keine 2. Getränkebestellung möglich. Fazit. Es gibt bessere Thairestsurants und ein Besuch lohnt sich nicht.

The food is good, as is the view from the terrace over the lake, but the service still needs to be improved. You have to do something if you want to reorder drinks and the kitchen was closed at around 9:30 without us being asked beforehand whether we would like to order dessert. I don't know that otherwise. Then the waiter comes to the table again and asks. We arrived at 7 p.m., had to wait a while for the food (the waiting time was okay) and didn't finish the main course until shortly after 8.

The restaurant is generally nice and eating on site is good, but if you want to take the leftovers home with you the chef cannot guarantee that they will last!!!! The fried rice was stringy and smelled sour. We were accused of not cooling it properly and it was also loud. So glad we came here. Service was good and the food was delicious. Red Thai curry with crispy chicken hit the spot, and the serving size was more than enough. My partner had a peanut sauce curry which she enjoyed as well. We sat on the terrace with our dog while overlooking the swimming lake. The staff brought out water for our dog without us asking. Just a great experience.

When it's full, it's relatively loud. I give the food 4 stars - I had crispy chicken which could have been a bit less crispy - otherwise we were all happy. 35 minutes until dinner - it was good this time; last year we waited over an hour. The staff is very nice, but when there's a lot going on, they're stressed and sometimes something gets forgotten.

I'm not sure I've ever been served so kindly. You have to top that first. Very friendly, courteous, funny and warm service! We spontaneously went out for dinner in the evening in January. Despite the understaffing with only two people in the kitchen and service, we didn't have to wait long. The food was super tasty and very plentiful and was served very attractively in the heated bowls. The price is also absolutely okay and the price-performance ratio is completely ok. We'll definitely go there again. We recommend! A little tip for the operators: if you use a headset for the telephone, the service staff won't have as much stress when it comes to dealing with out-of-house orders and attending guests when they're understaffed.

Ich kenne die Küche an verschiedenen Plätzen.Seit über 25 Jahren, war mal sehr gut.Ich hatte gestern Hähnchen an Ingwer Julienne bestellt,Ingwergeschmach ja Julienne nein.Ebenso Ente in rotem Curry Alles Thaischarf(extra nochmal angerufen)total unscharf geliefert,mit Thai Basilikum —Fehlanzeige Hab es mir Zuhause mit Chillie und Frischem eigenen Basilikum aufgepeppt,Gemüse war übergart Ich denke es wird unisono vorgekocht ,in die Boxen eingeschweißt und ab in den Micro. Ente (Thai Curry) mit gemüse der Saison, Spargel oder Pfifferlinge, köstlich. Alles prima/lecker. Im Sommer dann wieder mit super Aussicht auf den See des Walldorfer Schwimmbads.

Mint has by far the best Red Tai Curry I have ever had. It also serves a large selection of drinks. Including quite a few delicious virgin coctails. You will be served as much rice as you. So you'll never leave hungry. The inside restaurant looks really fancy. Perfect to inviting people out. And the outside balcony under the white sunsails with view on the lake is comfortable on hot summer evenings. I'm a bit disappointed that they are now closed during lunchtime. But I guess they have the same staffing problems everyone else has.

Auch wenn mich das Wetter beim Essen ein wenig an Loriot erinnerte ( die berühmte Szene mit der Spaghetti 😉), der Service war super freundlich und ermöglichte uns sogar den dem Wetter angepassten MEHRFACHEN Umzug von draußen nach drinnen nach draußen und wieder zurück nach drinnen ... Das Essen selber war sehr fein, für uns allerdings so reichlich, dass wir entschieden haben beim nächsten Mal anstelle von 2 Hauptspeisen lieber nur 1 plus 1 Vorspeise zu wählen. Wie gesagt - es wird noch mehrere nächste Male geben um auch die anderen Speisen zu testen.

Wir waren anlässlich eines Firmenessens vor Ort. Das Personal wirkte überfordert und war semi-freundlich. Wir hatten ein bisschen das Gefühl, dass wir unerwünscht waren. Das tat unserer guten Stimmung jedoch keinen Abbruch und wir versuchten das beste daraus zu machen. Leider war das Essen jedoch nur durchwachsen. Wer hier einen original-Thailändischen Geschmack erwartet, der wird enttäuscht. Hier ist alles dermaßen dem europäischen Gaumen angepasst, dass es mit thailändisch nur noch den Namen gemeinsam hat. Schade eigentlich. Es schmeckt nicht schlecht, aber hat halt mit thailändisch wenig zu tun.

Sehr angenehmes Restaurant zum Essen gehen. Eine große Auswahl an Gerichten findet sich hier. Die Bedienung war freundlich und wir hatten keine langen Wartezeiten (hängt natürlich auch von Uhrzeit & Besucheranzahl ab). Gerichte werden auf Speisewärmer gestellt, was mir persönlich sehr gut gefallen hat. Somit hat man durchgehend warmes/heißes Essen. Man kann mit ca. 20-30€ pro Person (inkl. Getränke) rechnen. Werden aufjedenfall wieder kommen! ☻

Es war das beste asiatische Essen was ich bislang gegessen habe. Mega lecker und alles perfekt. Angenehme Atmosphäre, nette Bedienung und Portionen ausreichend. Kommen gerne wieder.

War schon öfters mit Familie im Mint. Das Restaurant liegt wirklich wunderschön und ist geräumig. Der Außenbereich lädt Vor allem im Sommer zum verweilen ein. Serviert werden Köstlichkeiten aus dem Asiatischen Raum. Man merkt dem essen auch die liebe und Leidenschaft des Koches an. Genauso schmeckt es auch. Fantastisch. Das Fleisch ist auf den Punkt und der Service arbeitet strukturiert. Auch bei größeren Bestellungen und einem Vollen Haus kommt das Personal wirklich gut damit klar. Fazit, ob für ein Geschäftsessen oder für eine Familie mit Kindern, das Menü ist sehr ausgewogen und wirklich jeder findet etwas, auch wenn man kein freund der Asiatischen Küche ist wie Ich. Wir waren kürzlich im Mint Dine. Leider war mein Hauptgericht etwas arg süß, was nicht aus der Beschreibung auf der Karte zu erkennen war. Etwas Schärfe hätte nicht geschadet. Das Gericht meiner Freundin war auch recht mild, was sie von früher her schärfer kannte. Schade. Service war wie immer sehr aufmerksam.

Das schlechteste Thai-Essen das ich jeher bekommen habe. Ich hatte Pad Thai bestellt, jeder China-Imbiss macht besser gebratene Nudeln. Es war essbar, allerdings haben weder das Gemüse noch die Soße etwas mit Pad Thai zu tun und für 14 Euro wirklich ein Witz. Mein Partner hatte ein Kokoscurry das für den Preis wirklich winzig war. Ich schreibe normalerweise keine Bewertungen, aber vor dem Restaurant kann man wirklich nur warnen. Vorne hui hinten pfui passt hier wirklich perfekt.

Der Blick von der Terasse ist schön, aber das ist hier schon alles!! Heute lief sehr viel schief. In der Küche als auch im Service. Beim Bestellen nicht richtig zugehört und falsch notiert, obwohl nochmal nachgefragt wurde. Dementsprechend kam eine falsche Vorspeise, diese zu korrigieren war nicht möglich, da keiner vom Service nur annähernd Zeit hatte, etwas Neues aufzunehmen. Beim Hauptgericht war der Reis derart verkocht, dass man ihn nicht essen mochte. Auch hier waren Reklamationen schwierig, wenn sich der Service nicht blicken lässt und auch nicht nachfragt. Selbst eine zweite Getränkerunde oder ein Entgegenkommen für die gemachten Fehler gab es nicht. Immerhin zahlt man ja doch am Ende die Rechnung.

Wunderbares Essen, viele Gerichte zur Auswahl und sehr lecker, guter Service. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren nun das dritte Mal im Mint und waren wieder mehr als begeistert! Das Essen schmeckt fantastisch... die Steaks sind besonders hervorzuheben... allerbeste Qualität und sowas von schön angerichtet mit knackigem Wokgemüse und super leckeren Wedges/Pommes... oder wahlweise auch Reis... die Getränkekarte ist wunderbar sortiert.. über gute Weine bis hin zu Cocktails... alles auch zu moderaten Preisen! Man kann im Sommer wunderbar auf der Terrasse sitzen mit Blick zum See... wo hat man so ein tolles Ambiente sonst noch? Der Wirt oder Hausherr ist ein Mann, der sein Handwerk zu 100 % versteht und auch selbst sehr um seine Gäste bemüht ist. Das Personal ist ebenso sehr flink und um die Gäste bemüht und überaus freundlich. Wir fühlen uns hier absolut wohl und freuen uns immer wieder auf das nächste Mal! Ein großes Lob an das ganze Team ! Das hat es verdient!

Wir saßen an einem Sommerabend kaum am Terrassentisch als wir sofort mitveinem Hauscocktsil begrüßt wurden. Der Service war schnell, sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Rotes Thaicurry mit knuspriger Ente war sehr gut und eine große Portion. Ebenso gut das Rindfleisch in Pfeffersauce. Reizvoll auch der schöne Blick über den Badesee und angrenzenden Wald. Wir komnen gerne wieder. Einziger Tipp: Lasst mal Eure Messer schleifen😁

Leider hat die Qualität des Restaurants deutlich nachgelassen. Früher sind wir oft zum Mittagessen dorthin gegangen. Nach vielen Monaten waren wir letzte Woche endlich mal wieder dort. Fazit: das war das letzte Mal! Das knusprige Hähnchen war innen teilweise noch roh. Ich habe die Bedienung darauf hingewiesen, worauf ich belehrt wurde, das sei normal. Als ich mich weigerte rohes Huhn zu essen, ließ sich die Bedienung dazu herab, mir ein neues Huhn zubereiten zu lassen. Da aber die Küche offen ist, konnte und musste ich dann mit anhören, wie man über mich lästerte und lachte - sehr unschön! Das Gemüse und der Reis (die Beilagen zum Huhn) wurden in einer lieblosen Soja Sauce ertränkt, von frischen Zubereitung oder feiner asiatischer Würze kann hier nicht die Rede sein. Fazit: nie wieder!!
