Four years ago, I left a 5-star review for this pub. However, due to an incident yesterday, I unfortunately have to revise that review. The following situation occurred: A long-time friend and I went there yesterday to chat and enjoy a relaxed evening. Late at night, a regular of the pub (approximately 40-45 years old) came to our table and joined the conversation. Fine; new conversation partners are always welcome. Somewhere in the middle of the conversation, he asked me if I was gay. A bit odd, but whatever. I said no. Apparently, he didn't like my answer, though, because he raised his fist and asked if I'd like a slap (I don't remember the exact words). Of course not. So I moved my seat (away from the customer; maybe he wanted to sit down), hoping to de-escalate the situation. He then apologized. The truth behind this apology became clear a short time later, however, when the guest in question, again without any provocation, called me an "idiot." At that point, I informed the bar staff, and we left the venue because I didn't feel like escalating things again. Our drinks were left standing. As a native of Wiedenbrück, I'm more than disappointed with how this place has developed. It used to be a great place to go to play darts. After last night, I wouldn't even be able to get in here for a decent amount of compensation. I'm too old for all the stress.

Had a lovely time in the old homeland. I can only recommend it.

A great pub with great opportunities to drink a beer or enjoy a good game of darts. People like to come here

Sind zum darten zu Besuch. Die Minibar hat eine tolle Heimmannschaft. Nette Bedingungen und einen klasse Service. Einfach mal hingehen, es lohnt sich.
