Nice setting with a beautiful view of the Rhine, free parking with easy access and the possibility of coming by bike. Orders are only taken using a practical tablet. For the food, a little disappointed, on the makis there is a lot of rice and few toppings, the same on the other products. Too expensive for what it is.

It was our first time there and absolutely disappointed! The tablet was handed to us and that was it! Questions are not welcome. We were told "why don't you understand?" The lady, probably the boss, was so unfriendly. The cutlery was served without napkins, carelessly. So service minus minus!! The food was extremely fried, so I couldn't eat another meal until the following day - in the evening. The only nice thing was the view outside. Not recommended!

The restaurant is very large and loud, the service was very unfriendly except for one person, the taste of parts of the food I ordered was no longer recognizable due to it being overcooked, so I won't be visiting again.

A nice all-you-can-eat formula with tablet ordering. You have 10 ordering sessions with 5 dishes / person at each session. (I have never gone beyond 3 sessions yet). You must wait 10 minutes between each session. There is a lot of choice, the dishes arrive quickly and it's good 😁👍🏻

I think everything is right here. An Asian restaurant where you order with your tablet. The food is great and the waitresses are really nice. Absolutely recommended, especially the window seat when the sun goes down.

Wonderful view! Since it was my first time there, I didn't know that ordering buffet was standard and not expensive either. Since I just wanted to eat soup, that was out of the question - perhaps it would have been more advisable. The wudon noodle soup with beef was not good: noodles too soft, broth tasteless, canned mushrooms and tough meat. The miso soup that I also had was also too thin and the cucumber salad was also tasteless. My tip: enjoy the view and order the buffet instead.

Actually very modern furnished with an Asian touch. Order all you can eat via tablet. Sushi tastes okay, but unfortunately the taste varies widely within the dishes. And sometimes you don't know what was just served because the food looks different in the picture than it is in front of you. Unfortunately, service isn't all that friendly; dishes are basically dropped onto the table as you walk past or put down without a word. Facial expression like at a funeral. But well, I don't know what the working conditions are like.

We ordered different sushi and dishes. We were thrilled, the quality was right.

The last time we were there was 7 years ago. Unfortunately, it no longer meets Japanese standards at all. The quality of the nori sheets and the wasabi were subpar. The waitress was friendly but simply handed us the tablet and left. No instruction, no explanation. Nothing. Not justified for the price. We won't be coming back.

Were there about a year ago and were very satisfied there. So go there a second time. Unfortunately, the quality of sushi has declined massively. Way too much rice. Some dishes were brought to the table late, we thought they weren't coming. And sometimes, especially towards the end, it was fried for too long. Hopefully the kitchen will improve. Ambience and service are good.

Do not offer carafes of water even after asking the waiters who only offered us their 0.75l bottle for €6. The prices for the all-you-can-eat buffet are not displayed (surprise, there is an increase in prices on weekends). And to conclude, half of our order did not arrive… take a little advice from the menu ;)

The food and ambience were good to very good. Only the friendliness and flexibility leave a lot to be desired. Personally, it was my first and last time in this restaurant. It's actually a shame because almost everything else is correct.

Service and ambience are top. However, the quality of the sushi is poor. Not fresh, dry rice, too much rice on the sushi. It seemed like the sushi had been prepared hours before. For example, the avocado was already brown in the sushi. We were very disappointed on our wedding day. We were there on a Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.

Food no longer what it was. I've never liked the ambience. Price performance is no longer correct. The price increased and the performance reduced. The waiter came to the table with a grumpy face. When we served the food we said thank you every time. Neither please nor gladly came from her, but nothing at all. We didn't feel comfortable and probably won't go there again.

Anyone who loves sushi will definitely not be disappointed here. The restaurant is located in the “European Forum on the Rhine” building complex, which also houses several other restaurants and facilities (including a theater). The view (from the terrace in summer) of the Rhine with sunset is almost worth going there alone. Although there is only the "all you can eat" option here, it is not a mass production with sometimes poor quality as you would find in one or two Chinese restaurants. This Japanese restaurant does things differently. Everything is freshly prepared here. There was and is no buffet where you can help yourself, but every occupied table gets an iPad, which you can use to order again and again. Since there are also pictures it is quite easy. There is free parking directly at the house and if you would like to have a leisurely cocktail after your meal, you can do so on the roof terrace in the same building soon (05/2024) in the successor to the "Amici". Update 03/2024: Even now, the Miko is still a very clear recommendation for me! The quality of the food and service have not diminished. The prices have been raised slightly (currently the "all-you-can-eat buffet" costs EUR 29.90 on weekend evenings, one euro less on the other days and significantly less at lunchtime), but that's still completely fine for me . How does it all work? You have an iPad on the table and can order five dishes per person per serving, drinks are extra. A maximum of ten rounds are possible in total and there must be at least ten minutes between each one. Overall, it's over after 2:30 hours, so you shouldn't talk so much and put more emphasis on the food. But honestly, it all fits very well. We've never done more than six or seven laps, the last time we were there there were only four. At some point you'll be full ;-) Update 06/2024: I've been there several times now and it's always been good, the quality of the cuisine is consistent and that's the most important thing. If you like sushi, this is the place for you and you should be hungry!

Unfortunately mass processing. No really fresh fish on a Monday. Sushi with a lot of rice and few other ingredients. Dishes and portion sizes sometimes vary greatly from the menu.

We were guests for the fourth time now. At the beginning we were very convinced. However, in our opinion the quality has deteriorated. We always love coming for sushi and the lamb chops. However, there is now too much rice in sushi, so the flavor of the filling is no longer present. In addition, they are now very thick, unusually marinated lamb chops, which no longer taste as good as they used to. The price has been increased, which is why we think the price-performance ratio is no longer that good. We think it's a shame and won't be coming anymore for the time being.

The food was OK. Not great but fine. Anyway my problem was not with the food, but the whole organization of how it is served. We choose the buffet option. You will have enough rounds to order and to fill yourself to the top. But what is ordered and what comes and how they put 2 same things in one plate and we are actually 2 families and wonder where is the second dish. It is frustrating. I didn't feel relaxed. The food is enough, OK, but for this price and this uncomfortable feeling there - I will say no.

Hello! The food was great. The “bubbly” was missing from the Spezi and blackcurrant juice spritzer. Ordering via the tablet was easy and you receive instructions in advance. Everything very relaxed. What was absolutely not my thing was eating plastic. I think, for the ambience, the food should be served on porcelain. I think value for money is great. And the view from the large window front of the Rhine and nature is simply amazing. We went out to eat without children. A table reservation in advance would be great. Have fun in the Miko

Frankly, you shouldn't do that... If you go with your parents or grandparents to this restaurant (Japanese 🤣) give them computer training. No paper menu, everything is on the table and if you wait too long the waitress will tend to get impatient or leave you to your own fate. For the cuisine I would say that it is an all-you-can-eat (Japanese) restaurant, more expensive and not good. An insult to Japanese gastronomy.

The ambience is simply amazing! The food was really great and the sushi was delicious and that's what a non-sushi eater says. The only thing you can work on is the dessert. Unfortunately they are a bit flat in taste.

Very tasty sushi and good grill. Given the quantity you can order, the nigiri should be a little smaller. But we still have a lot to discover next time.

First and last time in this restaurant… The food was ok but some of the staff were particularly rude. They didn’t inform us about all the “rules “ of the “all-you-can-eat” buffet. We ordered deserts and a drink, they only brought us the drink because it was an extra and they didn’t bring the desserts because they were included. When we asked for an explanation, they said it was too late for the deserts (obviously not for the drink) and they almost kicked us out of the restaurant… They are not professional at all.

Very, very nice service. The all-you-can-eat system was explained to us in detail and all the dishes came promptly and tasted excellent. We'll definitely be back!

Disaster ! Never go there. The waitress is disrespectful, throws us sheets where we have to mark our orders because she is unable to line up 2 words in French or in English knowing that the restaurant is on the border. I do not recommend, avoid!!!

Unfortunately there were short black hairs on several plates. The concept is good, but the service is unfortunately lacking in friendliness. The little bowls are thrown so carelessly on the table that the food falls down. That's really a pity. The hall is far too loud even when it is only half full.

So we were very satisfied. We were greeted in a friendly manner and everything was calmly explained to us how to order with the tablets. Food and drinks were also brought very quickly. But I also have to say that we were there on a Thursday evening and the restaurant wasn't full either. The quality of the food was great, I thought it was better than other Chinese restaurants in the area. At the end we were even offered a coffee, espresso or schnapps on the house. So I can't agree with the comments about the unfriendly staff, we were very happy with such a restaurant. The only thing I'm missing are a few damp cloths for my hands every now and then. Or warm, moist towels would have been perfect for me. Ambience is also nice.

Sehr enttäuscht von diesem Restaurant!!! Wir waren zu 5 am Sonntag dort zum Mittagessen. Wie viele hier bereits geschrieben haben beginnt alles schon beim betreten des Restaurants. Wir wurden von kleinen arroganten unfreundlich japaner Chef empfangen, der uns nicht mal Hallo, Guten Tag oder schön das Sie da sind gesagt hat. Er hat uns schnell zum Tisch gebracht und und die ipad in die Hand gedrückt. Leider trifft man immer wieder auf solche Lokal bzw Restaurant Betreiber, die einfach zu Dumm sind zu verstehen, dass eigentlich der Kunde der dein Loka bzw Restaurant besucht dir das begerte schwer verdiente Geld bringt, und muss als drin Gast auf Respektvoll begegnen werden. Am Anfang waren nicht viele Geste im Restaurant, deshalb wurden wir beim erste Gang zügig bedient und bekommen alles was wir bestellt haben. Der Personal wirkte sehr unfreundlich und lustlos und genervt. Die haben die Schälchen und Teller buchstäblich auf den Tisch geschmissen. Später wurde es voller und der Personal fing uns die Gerichte zu bringen die wir nicht bestellt haben. Wenn man was fragen wollte regiert viele generv und gingen einfach weiter, machen verstehen kein Deutsch. Wie manche schön sagt, alle Gute kommt zum Schluss! In diesem Chaos wollen wir nicht mehr lagen bleiben und wollen bezahlen und gehen. Der Chef hat uns im ipad den Betrag zum Zahlen angezeigt und wie begannen das Geld zusammen zuzulegen, dann kam der Spruch, Ehheee in Deutschland gibt es Trinkgeld. Er gab uns nicht mal Zeit das Geld zusammen zuzählen und verlangen von uns auf ungeduldig und auf arrogante Weise das Trinkgeld. Mit dieser Handlung hat der endgültige meine positiven Erwartungen an diesen Lokal endgültig ruiniert. Fazit: Unfreundlichs Personen , ohne Struktur, Preise Leistungsverhältnis trifft nicht zu. Für das Geld kann man bei lieben Guten Intalener, Griechen oder Chinesen 1000 mal besser essen gehen.

Coole Location. Man bleibt am Platz sitzen und bestellt über ein Tablet. Das Essen wird dir dann an den Platz gebracht.

Klasse Auswahl, leckeres Essen und gute Parkmöglichkeiten

Personal ist sehr unhöflich, schmeißt die Teller fast auf den Tisch oder man bekommt das falsche. Essen ist gut.

Das Essen war, bis auf gekochte Garnelen, die nach wirklich nichts schmeckten und der komischscheckende Gurkensalat, gut. Das Essen kam wirklich schnell. Kurz vor Schluss war ein Tempura -Sushi übriggeblieben, und ich fragte, ob sie es bitte einpacken könnte. Wir wurden dann von der Restaurantleiterin darüber belehrt, dass wir halt nicht so viel bestellen dürfen, und sie es lieber wegschmeißen. Wir haben dann, zu dritt, noch jeweils ein paar Dessert bestellt. Da kam sie wieder, und meinte in einem herablassendem Ton, dass wir doch bitte nichts mehr bestellen sollen, wenn vom Gang vorher noch Essen zuviel bestellt wurde. EINE Tempura-Sushi!!!! Eine Frechheit sondergleichen. Nie wieder werde ich dieses Restaurant betreten. Zum guten Glück waren die Servicekräfte wenigstens freundlich.

Mauvaise adresse pour bien manger

Gehen immer wieder gerne ins Miko. Sehr leckeres Essen und das Prinzip mit dem Tablet finde ich super. Die Gerichte kommen schnell an den Tisch, durch die kleinen Portionen hat man die Möglichkeit von allem etwas zu essen. Preis-Leistung finde ich gut, wenn man bedenkt was Sushi kostet wenn man es in anderen Restaurants einzeln kauft.

Schönes Konzept das funktioniert. Service ist schnell und freundlich. Essen kommt zügig in "kleinen" Portionen und somit super um gemütlich vieles zu probieren und die Zeit an Tisch zu verbringen. Preis ist okay, besonders Mittagstisch Mo-Sa super Preis/Leistung.

Essen schmeckt mega lecker und man wird absolut Satt beim Buffet. Nur sehr teuer und wenn viele Gäste da sind, sehr unpersönlich und chaotisch. Wir waren eine größere Gruppe mit 4 Tablets und das Essen wurde einfach wild auf den Tisch gestellt und keiner wusste mehr, was er bestellt hatte. Platz am Tisch war sehr beengt. Es wäre besser, wenn man das Essen zu jedem Tablet stellen würde von dem es auch bestellt wurde. Habe für 4 Personen ca. 160 € mit Getränken bezahlt. Dafür hätte ich in eine gute Gaststätte gehen können und hätte es ruhiger gehabt.....

Das Essen war super und der Service auch. Werden definitiv öfter kommen.

Ich kann diese ein Sterne Bewertungen absolut nicht nachvollziehen. Klar, das System mit dem Tablet ist nicht für jeden gut. Jedoch ist alles bebildert und wurde gut erklärt. Ja, die eine oder andere Geschirrabräumerin konnte wenig Deutsch. Na und? Die waren trotzdem freundlich und haben auf ein Danke immer gelächelt. Das Ambiente ist sauber. Dazu kommt noch die tolle Aussicht. Der Vorteil kleine Portionen zu bestellen: Es ist immer heisst und schmeckt frisch zubereitet. Wenn man etwas ausgewählt hat, was einem doch nicht so schmeckt, ist es nicht rausgeworfen. Die mögliche Gesamtbestellmenge kann nicht erreicht werden, vorher ist man gut satt. Preislich kostet es ein wenig. Passt aber zu den heutigen Preisen. Und ist def. Kein massen-oder billig-imbiss. Wir kommen wieder!!

Das Essen war interessant zum bestellen weil man alles über Tablet bestellt und dann in kleinen Portionen an den Tisch gebracht bekommt. Service sehr gut und das Ambiente ist mega (direkt am Rhein, tolle Beleuchtung). Das Essen war gut aber manches hat mich persönlich nicht überzeugt.

Das essen ist super lecker aber dafür die Organisation und die Kellner totale Katastrophe. Die Kellnerin konnte kaum deutsch was es schwieriger gemacht hat sich zu kommunizieren da wir das erste mal da waren. Man bestellt auf iPads was auch ein kleines misch masch gemacht hat und unsere bestellten Menüs durcheinander gekommen sind. Das essen war aber immerhin sehr lecker und schnell angekommen

Das Miko ist immer ein tolles Erlebnis. Das Essen hat eine tolle Qualität, es ist sehr schnell da und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist ausgezeichnet. Empfehlenswert

Essen mega Service sehr unfreundlich

Nous étions à 2 pour le repas de midi. Déjà, aucune serveuse ne parle le français, pas normal pour un restaurant à la frontière. Les plats sont affichés en allemands. Même pas en français. Chez nous en Alsace, tous les restaurants sont en français et allemand. Aucun respect pour les étrangers. Le repas sont arrivés l'un après l'autre. Pour un buffet à volonté, c'est du n'importe quoi. Je n'irai plus dans ce restaurant. Pas étonnant, presque personne pour le repas de midi. Le pire restaurant ou nous avons été.

We wanted to have sushi on the way home from our getaway in Colmar, France, and found this restaurant within a neat distance before continuing our 5 hour drive home. The restaurant was located in the first floor of this building which gives a magnificent view overlooking the marina. The food was superb! Included in the price was 5 pieces per person to be repeated every 10 minutes . You can have a maximum of 10 rounds. The quality of the food was really worth it, even 3 times over. I have put a pin in my Google maps just to make sure that whenever I am on the neighborhood I would not miss it!

Ich liebe diesen Laden! Sehr leckeres Sushi. Es muss jedem klar sein das für diesen Preis nicht immer alles frisch ist. Viele der sushi Produkte sind offensichtlich frisch aufgetaut, aber trotzdem mega lecker. Das einzigste das mich leider nicht immer überzeugen kann sind die warme Gerichte wie Ente und Lachs. Diese sind meistens überfritiert und ich hatte jetzt auch schon einmal das Gefühl, dass die Ente vom Vortag ist. Diesbezüglich richtet sich meine Empfehlung ausschließlich aufs Sushi, da dieses meiner Meinung nach im Preis-Leistungsverhältnis unschlagbar ist. Ich gehe mindestens 2 mal im Monat hin wenn ich Lust auf sushi habe ❤️
