In order. If you want authentic Japanese food, this is not the place for you. Asian is fine. We were there in the evening and were offered the 'buffet'. Just under €30 for all you can eat. Ordering is done using a tablet. It takes a little getting used to, but it's fun and works perfectly. We ate our way through the menu, starting with sushi of all kinds, maki, rolls, salmon, tuna, avocado, surimi... the sushi was freshly made. A bit carelessly cut, but okay... Then warm dishes, spicy beef, chicken in curry. …. In order. The salmon, shrimp and duck are very good. The service is excellent, courteous, nice and quick. I can recommend the shop to try out Asian cuisine.

I have to be honest and say it was a complete failure. We had a table for 5 people (2 adults 3 children) and yes, we were 15 minutes late. But what happened that evening was terrible. -The staff is completely overwhelmed. -The waiting time from aisle to aisle is far too long. On average we had to wait 20 to 25 minutes per order. That means we would never have had the opportunity to order 10 courses, as was offered. - The quality of the food was poor. The warm components arrived cold or lukewarm. The presentation of the dishes were never as offered in the pictures. Ridiculously small portions that were simply served carelessly and tastelessly. - Ordered dishes sometimes never arrived. After more than 2 hours we gave up ordering anything because the waiting time and the food that was brought were disappointing and our appetite then disappeared. When I went to the checkout and asked the boss about it, I only got an unfriendly answer saying that I couldn't complain because we had already ordered 4 courses and left it as it was. She then sloppily handed me the full bill and that was it. We left the restaurant 130€ poorer and disappointed. Once and never again

I'm sorry to say we were disappointed with our visit. The quality of the food didn't meet our expectations - unfortunately it wasn't particularly good. The service was also disappointing. We didn't see a single service person with a smile, which had a negative impact on the ambience for us. To make matters worse, we found a hair in one of the pieces of sushi. I reported it directly to the waitress and even though she brought us new sushi, there was no apology or accommodation whatsoever, which made us feel like she didn't care. Unfortunately, given the overall disappointing experience and although the ambience is nice, we will not be visiting this restaurant again.

Disappointing - never again! We've been here before and everything was fine before, but this time it was just disastrous. Despite having a reservation, we had to wait outside for 20 minutes. The staff was extremely unfriendly, most of them barely spoke German. The orders were mixed up, some dishes were completely missing or arrived way too late. We waited 40 minutes for our drinks despite asking several times. Pieces of the food were “thrown” onto the table with no cutlery – we couldn’t even eat it until it was long cold. The fried sushi only tasted like fat, nothing else. Overall, an absolute disappointment. We have never experienced anything like this here before. After this chaos we definitely won't be coming back. Absolutely impossible!

Price performance is really good for a Japanese all-you-can-eat restaurant. Food and drinks can be easily ordered using a tablet. Only the toilet is a bit hidden two floors above the restaurant. This is also written on, so it shouldn't be a problem finding it.

I strongly advise against the restaurant Miko. My experience was disastrous. The owner was unbearable, displaying a disrespectful and arrogant attitude throughout our visit. I have never been treated like this in an establishment. Moreover, the service was terrible, with rude and unprofessional staff.

A nice Valentine's Day dinner with your girlfriend in a nice Asian restaurant. Wrong thought! You don't have to have eagle eyes to notice that this restaurant doesn't deserve the reputation it gets. The ambience would be okay if it weren't for the volume that makes speaking almost as impossible as the take-off of an F-16 fighter jet. A fraction of the food we ordered arrived. No sushi and only the cheapest of the cheapest. Even after a complaint nothing changed. If you put sushi on the menu and then randomly distribute it to the tables, you shouldn't offer it. Completely overpriced, completely overcrowded, completely overrated. I think the restaurant really has potential. It just has to be implemented. I wasted €71 and 3 hours on a disappointing evening.

The food tastes good, but the word service needs to be redefined. Friendliness?? Unknown. In every way. The boss….without words. As a group, with the tablets, a mess. And too loud in there. Definitely not recommended on a Saturday evening.

If you don't want to do all-you-can-eat, stay away. I asked if it was possible to order from the menu even if others at the table were eating all-you-can-eat. The waitress was then in a bad mood. I then had to sit at the edge of the table so that she could see me and a white Word menu that was laminated and dirty was placed on the table. I then wanted to order an appetizer from the menu that was actually on the menu. "That would be too complicated, but if it absolutely has to be..." then there was also the fact that my bill didn't come up, no all-you-can-eat for 30 € to eat as the portion size was half a plate for €13. I have never been served so badly and received such a small main course. I also complain: NO information about contents such as milk/eggs or anything else, there are no references to ingredients, which makes it very difficult as an allergy sufferer or vegan.

We have been there several times, at lunchtime and in the evening. The staff is always very friendly, everything is clean, the food is always freshly prepared, the selection is great, whether food or drinks. However, when it is quite crowded, the noise factor is quite loud.

We really enjoy being here. Everything fits, except we don't like the new concept with the dessert.

It was better on one side. In my opinion the quality of food is good, but the service is very poor. Some food takes forever to arrive. Or it doesn't come at all. Even though we were there on a Saturday and there is a lot going on, you should still be able to get the food you order to come to your table and not be carried around forever.

We ate buffet. The specialties previously selected on the tablet are always brought fresh to the table in small bowls. I still need to get used to the ordering process with the tablet, but it worked well.

On 9/22/24, 3 families, 6 adults and 4 children visited this restaurant. Very rude behavior from the staff. We were forbidden from placing an order until we had finished everything on the table. There was food on the table like on other tables. refused to accept the order. They spoke insultingly in raised voices in front of strangers in the restaurant. They snatched the pill from the child's hands while he was ordering dessert. After that, the desire to continue eating in this restaurant completely disappeared.

The waitress is very unfriendly, rude and impolite. She snatched the pill out of the child's hand and forbade us from placing an order until we had finished everything on the table. Generally we pay money for what we order. What nonsense is this when the waiter forbids you to place an order until everything is taken off the plate? I don't recommend it to anyone. They don't give you napkins anymore.

The main food is basically good. Unfortunately, there are now massive savings on sushi. The ratio of rice to fish is wrong. We've been there a few times before and the sushi was definitely better. No! It's definitely not a sushi restaurant, but it's not even close to a Chinese restaurant! When a dish of "seared" tuna arrived I wanted to send it to the kitchen thinking they had the wrong dish, but instead it was "really" tuna.

Nice setting with a beautiful view of the Rhine, free parking with easy access and the possibility of coming by bike. Orders are only taken using a practical tablet. It was our first time there and absolutely disappointed! The tablet was handed to us and that was it! Questions are not welcome. We were told "why don't you understand?" The lady, probably the boss, was so unfriendly. The cutlery was served without napkins, carelessly. So service minus minus!! The food was extremely fried, so I couldn't eat another meal until the following day - in the evening. The only nice thing was the view outside. Not recommended!

A nice all-you-can-eat formula with tablet ordering. You have 10 ordering sessions with 5 dishes / person at each session. (I have never gone beyond 3 sessions yet). You must wait 10 minutes between each session. There is a lot of choice, the dishes arrive quickly and it's good 😁👍🏻

I think everything is right here. An Asian restaurant where you order with your tablet. The food is great and the waitresses are really nice. Absolutely recommended, especially the window seat when the sun goes down.

Wonderful view! Since it was my first time there, I didn't know that ordering buffet was standard and not expensive either. Since I just wanted to eat soup, that was out of the question - perhaps it would have been more advisable. The wudon noodle soup with beef was not good: noodles too soft, broth tasteless, canned mushrooms and tough meat. The miso soup that I also had was also too thin and the cucumber salad was also tasteless. My tip: enjoy the view and order the buffet instead.

We ordered different sushi and dishes. We were thrilled, the quality was right.

Actually very modern furnished with an Asian touch. Order all you can eat via tablet. Sushi tastes okay, but unfortunately the taste varies widely within the dishes. And sometimes you don't know what was just served because the food looks different in the picture than it is in front of you. Unfortunately, service isn't all that friendly; dishes are basically dropped onto the table as you walk past or put down without a word. Facial expression like at a funeral. But well, I don't know what the working conditions are like.

The last time we were there was 7 years ago. Unfortunately, it no longer meets Japanese standards at all. The quality of the nori sheets and the wasabi were subpar. The waitress was friendly but simply handed us the tablet and left. No instruction, no explanation. Nothing. Not justified for the price. We won't be coming back.

The food and ambience were good to very good. Only the friendliness and flexibility leave a lot to be desired. Personally, it was my first and last time in this restaurant. It's actually a shame because almost everything else is correct.

Service and ambience are top. However, the quality of the sushi is poor. Not fresh, dry rice, too much rice on the sushi. It seemed like the sushi had been prepared hours before. For example, the avocado was already brown in the sushi. We were very disappointed on our wedding day. We were there on a Wednesday at 6:00 p.m.

Anyone who loves sushi will definitely not be disappointed here. The restaurant is located in the “European Forum on the Rhine” building complex, which also houses several other restaurants and facilities (including a theater). The view (from the terrace in summer) of the Rhine with sunset is almost worth going there alone. Although there is only the "all you can eat" option here, it is not a mass production with sometimes poor quality as you would find in one or two Chinese restaurants. This Japanese restaurant does things differently. Everything is freshly prepared here. There was and is no buffet where you can help yourself, but every occupied table gets an iPad, which you can use to order again and again. Since there are also pictures it is quite easy. There is free parking directly at the house and if you would like to have a leisurely cocktail after your meal, you can do so on the roof terrace in the same building soon (05/2024) in the successor to the "Amici". Update 03/2024: Even now, the Miko is still a very clear recommendation for me! The quality of the food and service have not diminished. The prices have been raised slightly (currently the "all-you-can-eat buffet" costs EUR 29.90 on weekend evenings, one euro less on the other days and significantly less at lunchtime), but that's still completely fine for me . How does it all work? You have an iPad on the table and can order five dishes per person per serving, drinks are extra. A maximum of ten rounds are possible in total and there must be at least ten minutes between each one. Overall, it's over after 2:30 hours, so you shouldn't talk so much and put more emphasis on the food. But honestly, it all fits very well. We've never done more than six or seven laps, the last time we were there there were only four. At some point you'll be full ;-) Update 06/2024: I've been there several times now and it's always been good, the quality of the cuisine is consistent and that's the most important thing. If you like sushi, this is the place for you and you should be hungry!

Unfortunately mass processing. No really fresh fish on a Monday. Sushi with a lot of rice and few other ingredients. Dishes and portion sizes sometimes vary greatly from the menu.

We were guests for the fourth time now. At the beginning we were very convinced. However, in our opinion the quality has deteriorated. We always love coming for sushi and the lamb chops. However, there is now too much rice in sushi, so the flavor of the filling is no longer present. In addition, they are now very thick, unusually marinated lamb chops, which no longer taste as good as they used to. The price has been increased, which is why we think the price-performance ratio is no longer that good. We think it's a shame and won't be coming anymore for the time being.
