In order. If you want authentic Japanese food, this is not the place for you. Asian is fine. We were there in the evening and were offered the 'buffet'. Just under €30 for all you can eat. Ordering is done using a tablet. It takes a little getting used to, but it's fun and works perfectly. We ate our way through the menu, starting with sushi of all kinds, maki, rolls, salmon, tuna, avocado, surimi... the sushi was freshly made. A bit carelessly cut, but okay... Then warm dishes, spicy beef, chicken in curry. …. In order. The salmon, shrimp and duck are very good. The service is excellent, courteous, nice and quick. I can recommend the shop to try out Asian cuisine.

I have to be honest and say it was a complete failure. We had a table for 5 people (2 adults 3 children) and yes, we were 15 minutes late. But what happened that evening was terrible. -The staff is completely overwhelmed. -The waiting time from aisle to aisle is far too long. On average we had to wait 20 to 25 minutes per order. That means we would never have had the opportunity to order 10 courses, as was offered. - The quality of the food was poor. The warm components arrived cold or lukewarm. The presentation of the dishes were never as offered in the pictures. Ridiculously small portions that were simply served carelessly and tastelessly. - Ordered dishes sometimes never arrived. After more than 2 hours we gave up ordering anything because the waiting time and the food that was brought were disappointing and our appetite then disappeared. When I went to the checkout and asked the boss about it, I only got an unfriendly answer saying that I couldn't complain because we had already ordered 4 courses and left it as it was. She then sloppily handed me the full bill and that was it. We left the restaurant 130€ poorer and disappointed. Once and never again

I'm sorry to say we were disappointed with our visit. The quality of the food didn't meet our expectations - unfortunately it wasn't particularly good. The service was also disappointing. We didn't see a single service person with a smile, which had a negative impact on the ambience for us. To make matters worse, we found a hair in one of the pieces of sushi. I reported it directly to the waitress and even though she brought us new sushi, there was no apology or accommodation whatsoever, which made us feel like she didn't care. Unfortunately, given the overall disappointing experience and although the ambience is nice, we will not be visiting this restaurant again.

Disappointing - never again! We've been here before and everything was fine before, but this time it was just disastrous. Despite having a reservation, we had to wait outside for 20 minutes. The staff was extremely unfriendly, most of them barely spoke German. The orders were mixed up, some dishes were completely missing or arrived way too late. We waited 40 minutes for our drinks despite asking several times. Pieces of the food were “thrown” onto the table with no cutlery – we couldn’t even eat it until it was long cold. The fried sushi only tasted like fat, nothing else. Overall, an absolute disappointment. We have never experienced anything like this here before. After this chaos we definitely won't be coming back. Absolutely impossible!

I strongly advise against the restaurant Miko. My experience was disastrous. The owner was unbearable, displaying a disrespectful and arrogant attitude throughout our visit. A nice Valentine's Day dinner with your girlfriend in a nice Asian restaurant. Wrong thought! You don't have to have eagle eyes to notice that this restaurant doesn't deserve the reputation it gets. The ambience would be okay if it weren't for the volume that makes speaking almost as impossible as the take-off of an F-16 fighter jet. A fraction of the food we ordered arrived. No sushi and only the cheapest of the cheapest. Even after a complaint nothing changed. If you put sushi on the menu and then randomly distribute it to the tables, you shouldn't offer it. Completely overpriced, completely overcrowded, completely overrated. I think the restaurant really has potential. It just has to be implemented. I wasted €71 and 3 hours on a disappointing evening.

If you don't want to do all-you-can-eat, stay away. I asked if it was possible to order from the menu even if others at the table were eating all-you-can-eat. The waitress was then in a bad mood. I then had to sit at the edge of the table so that she could see me and a white Word menu that was laminated and dirty was placed on the table. I then wanted to order an appetizer from the menu that was actually on the menu. "That would be too complicated, but if it absolutely has to be..." then there was also the fact that my bill didn't come up, no all-you-can-eat for 30 € to eat as the portion size was half a plate for €13. I have never been served so badly and received such a small main course. I also complain: NO information about contents such as milk/eggs or anything else, there are no references to ingredients, which makes it very difficult as an allergy sufferer or vegan.

Wonderful view! Since it was my first time there, I didn't know that ordering buffet was standard and not expensive either. Since I just wanted to eat soup, that was out of the question - perhaps it would have been more advisable. The wudon noodle soup with beef was not good: noodles too soft, broth tasteless, canned mushrooms and tough meat. The miso soup that I also had was also too thin and the cucumber salad was also tasteless. My tip: enjoy the view and order the buffet instead.

Anyone who loves sushi will definitely not be disappointed here. The restaurant is located in the “European Forum on the Rhine” building complex, which also houses several other restaurants and facilities (including a theater). The view (from the terrace in summer) of the Rhine with sunset is almost worth going there alone. Although there is only the "all you can eat" option here, it is not a mass production with sometimes poor quality as you would find in one or two Chinese restaurants. This Japanese restaurant does things differently. Everything is freshly prepared here. There was and is no buffet where you can help yourself, but every occupied table gets an iPad, which you can use to order again and again. Since there are also pictures it is quite easy. There is free parking directly at the house and if you would like to have a leisurely cocktail after your meal, you can do so on the roof terrace in the same building soon (05/2024) in the successor to the "Amici". Update 03/2024: Even now, the Miko is still a very clear recommendation for me! The quality of the food and service have not diminished. The prices have been raised slightly (currently the "all-you-can-eat buffet" costs EUR 29.90 on weekend evenings, one euro less on the other days and significantly less at lunchtime), but that's still completely fine for me . How does it all work? You have an iPad on the table and can order five dishes per person per serving, drinks are extra. A maximum of ten rounds are possible in total and there must be at least ten minutes between each one. Overall, it's over after 2:30 hours, so you shouldn't talk so much and put more emphasis on the food. But honestly, it all fits very well. We've never done more than six or seven laps, the last time we were there there were only four. At some point you'll be full ;-) Update 06/2024: I've been there several times now and it's always been good, the quality of the cuisine is consistent and that's the most important thing. If you like sushi, this is the place for you and you should be hungry!

We were guests for the fourth time now. At the beginning we were very convinced. However, in our opinion the quality has deteriorated. We always love coming for sushi and the lamb chops. However, there is now too much rice in sushi, so the flavor of the filling is no longer present. In addition, they are now very thick, unusually marinated lamb chops, which no longer taste as good as they used to. The price has been increased, which is why we think the price-performance ratio is no longer that good. We think it's a shame and won't be coming anymore for the time being.

Very friendly and cozy economy. The ambience is wonderful, you can keep yourself busy in many ways, be it by talking in a relaxed atmosphere, playing cards, playing dice or even in the upper area at the dart machines. The owner is also the good soul in the house and has an open ear for all concerns and doesn't let anything go wrong. All in all, it's worth a nice evening and coming back is a thought that takes root in your existence.

Even though there wasn't much going on, it took 50 minutes for our kebab to arrive. It arrived cold and the bread was soggy and collapsed and the meat wasn't cooked through because it had just been picked up from a new doner kebab.

So the food was great, we had burger rout 66 And steak with salad and fries. Everything was great, great value for money. But I wouldn't be me if I didn't rate it further, service was good. The lady was alone that day, but she was slightly overwhelmed by us and seemed annoyed, which didn't go down well with all of us. Another point of criticism in my opinion is the walk to the toulette. If you are disabled you have a really hard time getting down and/or up the narrow spiral staircase. The ambience is great and the music playing softly in the background was just my taste.
