It was a wonderful experience, the food was fresh and delicious, and the prices were very reasonable.

We ordered for several people and the delivery arrived on time. It was well-packaged, so everything was still hot. The portions were large and filling. Everything tasted excellent. From sushi and fried noodles to Vietnamese specialties, everything was well-prepared and delicious. And they even included fortune cookies and a free dessert.

If you enjoy long wait times, then go for it! We ordered through Lieferando several times and always had to wait over an hour! (for two people) For a delivery service with such a high minimum order value, that's beyond embarrassing... After calling after an hour to ask where my food was, all I got was, "The driver is currently loading the car and will then leave." Excuse me, but after an hour and a half, he's only just loading the car?! That's so cheeky, my jaw dropped. You can see from the other reviews that nobody here is satisfied 🤣

Good afternoon, what a total disappointment!!! That was the last time I'll ever be there!!! It took me about 20 minutes to decide... I'm getting out of here! First, the good news: I liked the Peking soup... that's it! Everything else was bad, and the duck 🦆 was a disaster. It didn't even look like Chinese duck... oversalted, dry, and looked like it had been sitting there for ages. The rest, like the fried items, were all bland, as if they weren't cooked yet, and cold or at most lukewarm. As for the service, I can't say much: "Hello... pay... and that's it." So, all in all... I was there once before, about 12 years ago, and was disappointed then... and after today's visit, I can say that's it... never again!

My friend and I each got a rescue bag from TooGoodToGo. We couldn't find the shop at first because the name wasn't signposted anywhere. The reviews mentioned unfriendly staff. We have to say that the woman wasn't unfriendly, but she wasn't particularly nice either. We got a large portion of fried sushi and other fried items. The food tasted okay, but we wouldn't go back in the future.

I was ripped off here. First they say drinks are free at the buffet and then you have to pay extra. I can tell you in advance that I would never recommend it.

Yesterday we ordered family food and everything was just about OK apart from the sauces which were heavy and watery. For €2.50 times three sauces, that's €7.50. I can also drink tap water at home, so the food was bad and the sauces were...

Very tasty sushi, one of the best in Siegen, I'd say! I can understand the negative reviews due to either long delivery times or unfriendly service on site. I've had similar experiences here myself. In the end, however, the quality of the food is what matters most to me, and it has been consistently high here since the restaurant opened.

We ordered online...it took about 70 minutes, the hot food was cold by then...sushi was ok but nothing more...in fact, it was rather below average...there are much better options for the price

The food is really delicious, but our order was partially wrong (we had written it down and even mentioned it), the staff were bad-tempered, and they kept waiting for a tip when paying. Overall, it's a nice restaurant with delicious food.

I never write reviews, but with this restaurant, it's really the least I can do! The Mikado in Siegen is truly amazing. We've been loving eating there for about a year now, or sometimes ordering via Lieferando. The food is amazing and the staff are super friendly! Simply fantastic and a "feel-good place" when it comes to food. I always like to leave a tip here! :)

They wanted to cheat me out of 5 euros, they don't speak German clearly so the reason is not clear. I don't recommend it, nothing but problems

We picked up food through Too Good To Go. The food was quite greasy, and the various dishes were carelessly crammed into a small plastic container, so the fried items (chicken nuggets, battered fruit, potatoes) arrived quite soggy. It was anything but a culinary experience. We will never eat there again. Just a tip for the owner: you could also use Too Good To Go to advertise good food, not just as paid waste disposal!

I ordered food through Leiderando at 4:30 p.m., with delivery at 6:15 p.m. The food arrived at 7:30 p.m. I called several times because it was evening and our children needed to go to bed. The driver then called back and said he couldn't help it, that I would have to tell my boss, and hung up. The food was cold because the driver had to go to Geisweid, the upper town, Weidenau, and Kann before getting to Eiserfeld. After our food had completed the Siegerland tour, we only got half. Very disappointing.

I'd love to give it 0 stars. We wanted to order from there again today after a long time because we were previously very satisfied. It's a disgrace when you take an order and the lady on the phone says it will take about an hour for the food to be ready because they're supposedly too busy. So we went there an hour later to pick up our food. Of course, the food wasn't ready, and no one knew about the order. Why do they write it down then (if that even happened)? Then please don't take any more takeaway orders if you're not capable of doing so. I don't think that's right! We won't order from there again.

BE CAREFUL, IT'S A RIP-OFF! We ordered a "to go" from Mikado to pick up, mind you, from MIKADO. When we arrived to pick up, the very, very, very unfriendly service staff member Genghis Khan approached us and asked if we'd ordered. So far so good, but what happened next was beyond anything I've ever experienced at a restaurant. She grabbed food bowls and bags from the shelves and proceeded to happily throw leftovers from the Chinese-looking buffet into these bowls, and she did it with such an angry and annoyed expression that it made you hungry just watching. I photographed the whole thing here: five dishes squashed into one bowl: sweet and sour fries, etc., savory and sweet dishes fried with bare hands, along with a few fried calamari and pieces of fish. I think it's a lot to expect for €5, but to be treated like that and to handle food accordingly should be acceptable. You've definitely achieved the goal of conveying to the guest or customer that you're a "pig".

We ordered via Lieferando, the delivery time was supposedly 60 minutes, which took over 2 hours, and the wrong order was delivered. We then waited another 1.5 hours and received the correct order. As compensation, they gave us prawn crackers, which was nice, but nobody eats them here. The vegetarian sushi was good, but the fried udon noodles with vegetables were cold, tasted of nothing, and the vegetables had a strange consistency; everything was so wobbly 😅 Afterward, I also struggled with nausea and stomach pains; I won't eat here again.

I am so disappointed! I ordered sushi for my guests, the noodles were delivered cold, not lukewarm, but packaged really cold, which I didn't understand. And the worst thing of all, just one pot of wassabi for an order of 6 packs. I called and asked how that could be, and he said they always do one pot per order. I said that's not okay, he said I would have to ask specifically, then he sent the driver again and had me bring 3 pots. He said 3 euros for each plus 3 euros for the journey, so 6 euros. He said no, I'm not going to pay 6 euros again for a bit of wassabi for such a large order. Unfortunately I won't eat with you again, how can you be so stingy for a bit of wassabi, especially for such a large order, everyone knows it's not exactly cheap. You've lost me as a customer, thanks for nothing!

We had food delivered. The delivery time was right and the sushi was delicious. However, I expected that the sushi with fresh fish would have to be chilled.

Absolutely not recommended! If you order takeout, you have to pay €2 for your fork (card payments not accepted). The likelihood that both the fork and the box will be broken is very high. Additionally, the food doesn't taste particularly good and is carelessly thrown into the box. Never again!!!

I was really disappointed with my visit to Mikado sushi restaurant. The service left a lot to be desired. When I picked up my order I wasn't even given a bag, let alone a fork! How are you supposed to eat sushi on the go? This is simply unacceptable. It seems like the restaurant doesn't care at all whether the customers are happy or not. The sushi itself was mediocre and in no way justified the high prices. I definitely won't be back and I can't recommend this restaurant to anyone. Bad service, bad food – you should avoid Mikado.

I don't know what that has to do with Mikado. The iPad was a pad with a pen. Service super unfriendly. Very creepy location. We left before dinner! That has nothing to do with Mikado like in Cologne, for example.

Completely disappointed! We ordered through Lieferando. The quality of the food has seriously declined! The rice was completely overcooked, way too mushy, and there was way too much rice vinegar in it. I could have done a thousand times better. Cooking rice isn't exactly a skill... especially for an Asian restaurant! We ordered for €50 and threw away more than half because it was disgusting. We'll never order from there again! The food used to be good. It's a shame what it's become today.

Food is very tasty but scheduled deliveries are always a disaster. Either the delivery person is half an hour early and calls you dozens of times (the statement that you are not at home doesn't matter - he is there now and you should hurry up) OR the scheduled delivery, which you book 3 hours in advance triggers come half an hour later.

We order from Mikado regularly. The food is always great and the delivery times are on point. The drivers are always friendly. The food has always impressed us in terms of taste.

Super-loving employees who put a lot of effort into the well-being of their guests. The food was fresh and the selection varied. We felt like we were in good hands throughout the entire period. The negative comments are incomprehensible.

Reichhaltige Auswahl am Buffet. Neu ist jetzt wohl seit kurzem "All you can eat and drink ", Mittags für 16.90€. Man holt sich die Getränke selber. Dafür, dass man trinken kann, soviel man will, ist der Preis super. Zu den Getränken zählen Wasser, Saft, Cola, Fanta, also nicht alkoholische Getränke. Hierdurch wird natürlich an Personal gespart. Andere Getränke kann man sich natürlich bestellen.

Top. Wir haben mit 6 Personen da telefonisch bestellt und uns liefern lassen. Essen kam pünktlich und es war super lecker. Alle hatten etwas anderes und jeden hat es geschmeckt. Alles war warm , reichlich und frisch. Super. Wir bestellen bestimmt noch mal da.

Kurz gesagt Preis Leistung, war es gut. Die ausführliche Aussage ist. Das Ambiente ist wie in so alten China Restaurants aber hat wiederum auch Charm. Wer es halt mag. Service war echt gut da kann man sich nicht beschweren. Das Essen war günstig das ist gut. Aber Geschmacklich nur okay ich hatte schon besseres. Man kann es gut essen aber man sollte nicht zu viel erwarten. Deswegen für den Preis gut.

Ich habe schon mehrmals bei Mikado bestellt. Eigentlich war es immer sehr gut. Nette Fahrer und gutes Essen. Es ist mir nur einmal passiert das der Lachs in der Maki durch war. Was leider nicht prickelnd ist.Aber ansonsten immer sehr zufrieden. Bestelle meine Sushi gerne hier.

Sushi schmeckt immer gut und die Lieferzeit entspricht der Angabe in der Lieferando-App.
