Very, very tasty, drinks service could be a bit faster, but it's not exactly cheap either.

The tapas, the paella, and even the dessert are very good, authentic, and made with love. The service is very attentive and incredibly friendly. From the outside, MI PERU makes an unassuming impression, but this changes immediately upon entering a chic, simple, and cozy atmosphere. Everything here is designed with love, and it shows. Guests feel comfortable from the very first moment. Highly recommended! 👍👍

Very friendly staff. They were happy to explain the individual dishes and what drinks or extremely delicious cocktails would go best with them. The food was very tasty and everything was fresh. The only minor complaint is that your clothes smelled strongly of food. But that's okay. We'll gladly come back.

Years ago, we went for tapas, but we were very disappointed. Now we've given it another try and had high expectations. These were truly fulfilled! I've been to Mi Peru several times now and I've been absolutely thrilled every time! The food is simply amazing: super fresh, perfectly seasoned, and truly authentic. The cocktails are more than just "for tasting"; you can really try the menu 😄. What I also love is that there's something for everyone, including a decent selection for vegetarians. You can just tell the love that goes into the cooking here. A definite recommendation!

We were in Peru last year and were looking forward to a culinary reunion here, and we were not disappointed. The menu of Peruvian dishes was comparatively small, but fresh. We've never come closer to Peruvian cuisine than this. We arrived as the second table to arrive in the restaurant and were greeted warmly. Unfortunately, after the appetizer, it took quite a while for our main course to arrive. We all prefer spicy food, but we found the salt content to be a bit too high. I had a dish with mariscos. Everything looked really delicious and tasted good, but in my opinion, the shrimp weren't deveined. Hence the downgrade for the meal. The service was excellent and attentive; perhaps they could have asked for another drink more often. The ambiance in the restaurant is very pleasant, although if we had only gone by the appearance of the outdoor terrace, we would have passed by. It was uninviting. Parking is difficult; there are no parking spaces in front of the restaurant, and otherwise only residents' parking or a parking permit, which must be renewed every two hours (as is typical in Darmstadt). Reservations are definitely recommended. We will, however, gladly return to Mi Peru because we liked the concept and the overall impression.

Highly recommended. Very authentic cuisine with delicious ceviche. The chicha is also very good and slightly modified from the original (lukewarm from the bucket 😀) with apple pieces and spices. Super friendly staff and good music. We will definitely be back.

The service is excellent. Very friendly, explaining dishes and offering recommendations. The tables near the entrance are very inconveniently located, as guests come in every three minutes looking for a free table, causing a lot of disturbance. The food was good.

Our favorite restaurant. Tastes like Peru!

Authentic and high-quality Peruvian food and beverages from the freshest products. Right in the heart of Bessungen. The staff is extremely polite, aware and always ready to help with the tastiest suggestions of the day. Wether seated outside or inside, it doesn't matter as the atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant in both. I can personally really suggest the area by the bar! Will definitely come back!

Great restaurant with very good food!

Very good food, a bit on the expensive side, but in my opinion, you get a better deal here than at other Latin American restaurants nearby. The women's restrooms are very well equipped.

The food is very tasty, but the prices are rather high. Since the restaurant is busy, you might want to make a reservation in advance. I had a ceviche with squid rings as an appetizer. While the portion size and flavor were decent, the value for money seemed rather poor. The squid rings looked suspiciously like they'd come from a freezer, and they said the fish in the ceviche was pangasius – at more than €20, even the cheapest ingredients don't make a good impression. For my main course, I had a paella mixta. Everything was just right here: flavor, ingredients, portion size, and a reasonable price. The dining room is nicely decorated, but also very loud and thinly soundproof, as they omitted any sound-absorbing materials (e.g., curtains).

The food is absolutely amazing and the cocktails are really good. The price is fair, the portions and the quality of the food is outstanding. However, the service is very deficient. They are understaffed, and so the food and drinks took way too long to arrive, and it was very difficult to get the waiters to take our order. They did give us a discount because it took them more than 30 mins to bring one of the cocktails. The place has a huge potential, but they should really pay attention to the service.

We had a very, very nice and entertaining evening at Mi Peru! A cozy summer evening, truly delicious tapas, incredibly friendly service – and that amazing Peruvian national drink: Pisco Sour! So delicious. You definitely have to try it.

Excellent experience, very good food, with a wide variety of dishes and first-class service

We were really looking forward to an evening of Peruvian cuisine, but were unfortunately completely disappointed. Our first impression of the restaurant was already uninviting: The shop seemed unkempt, and the terrace was right on the street – nothing can be done about that, but everything else also made a rather unloved impression. The food was of a disappointing quality. Instead of fresh ingredients, we were served the cheapest iceberg lettuce, the fish seemed substandard, and the so-called fish platter was dripping with oil – a disaster both in terms of taste and price. Unfortunately, the whole thing had precious little to do with Peruvian cuisine. Particularly disturbing: Shortly after dinner, I developed severe stomach pain, which worsened significantly over the course of the evening. My partner reacted with a rash in his mouth and throat, followed later by nausea and severe diarrhea. Regarding the service: Although the staff tried their best, they first forgot a drink and then even a main course. My tuna steak, ordered "medium," arrived as a wafer-thin, thoroughly cooked slice – completely dry. The presentation seemed "special," but the flavor was nothing to it. Conclusion: Poor value for money, questionable quality, and a health nuisance. The service was good, but the overall package was definitely not worth it. Unfortunately, I absolutely do not recommend it.

The food is authentic (a Peruvian's opinion!). It's hard to find Peruvian food here in Germany, and this restaurant truly lives up to the flavors of our cuisine. My husband is a big fan, and now our son is too! We can't wait to visit again!

The food unfortunately was terrible. It didn’t taste like anything. They brought water to the table (we didn’t ask for it) and changed 6 euros for tab water!!! Very very expensive. The food took about 30-45 minutes to arrive and they messed up one tapa as well and wanted to charge us for it. I don’t advise on anyone to come here.

This was our first time here and we were very pleased. A very modern yet cozy atmosphere, decorated with lots of love. The drinks, virgin morada and elderflower lemonade, were delicious and beautifully presented. We opted for tapas. These were very tasty and interestingly seasoned. Only the "tender octopus" was not tender at all. I would especially like to mention the very friendly and attentive service. The price/performance ratio is really good, and we would be happy to come back.

Hello, this is my first time at this restaurant, and the service was terrible. I felt discriminated against. I know tables are reserved, but some people came without reservations and were offered a table. The person who served me was completely rude. She didn't give me any options and told me to leave.

Fantastic tapas experience! A true gem! The tapas are consistently delicious – I'd especially like to highlight the aioli and the patatas bravas: simply heavenly! The paella is also a delight and shows that the food is cooked with real passion. Owner David, with his warm manner, creates a particularly pleasant atmosphere. You immediately feel welcome. The drinks round off the whole experience perfectly – creative, refreshing, and mixed just right. A place you'll gladly return to again and again. Highly recommended!

A very pleasant evening, with friendly staff who were very attentive and kept asking if you needed anything else or if everything was good, so service 5/5, there was a side salad for me as a starter and papa alla huancaina for my companion, both were very tasty and prepared us for the main course, then there was paella con pollo and a vegetarian paella, as expected after the starter, the main course was once again convincing Which is why I have to say 5/5, the atmosphere was very cozy, with light, atmospheric music, all in all a very successful evening, thank you for that.
