The Miperu restaurant is in my immediate neighborhood and is characterized by unpleasant kitchen odors, mainly from repeatedly used frying fat. The thrifty landlord obviously doesn't care. A meal in this restaurant is not recommended due to these smells.

The dishes are not only incredibly fresh, but also full of authentic flavors. I was particularly impressed by the quality of the ingredients - you can immediately tell that great emphasis is placed on freshness and high quality. The service was also excellent. The staff is extremely friendly, attentive and manages to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Overall, a wonderful experience that I can only recommend to everyone. If you are looking for a culinary highlight, you should definitely not miss this restaurant!

EDIT: With all due respect, it cannot be surpassed in terms of audacity to assume things about the customer when there is legitimate criticism in order to put the customer in a bad light. Not a word was mentioned about the absence of employees, nor was it mentioned that it could take longer because of it. How childish and incapable of criticism you must be as an owner if something like this makes you tell lies about others. This in particular shows me that in many reactions to negative criticism there is probably nothing to it and that the customers are definitely in the right. Embarrassing action with straw man arguments to save your own reputation. The stay was exactly one and a half hours. It probably took 50 minutes if you counted the time until we were officially served. Please work urgently on your ability to take criticism and try not to blame the customer for your failure, we were really humble about it. We were just asked if we would like something to drink and then we ordered. There was no mention of the waiting time. We also didn't hear an apology once. We even offered to pay for the drinks (2 glasses of Inka Cola, etc.). So disrespectful and simply not suitable for business. _________________________________________ Been there the second time and was bitterly disappointed. For the starter after 1 1/2 hours there is unfortunately not even any information about where the food is. So understaffed on Peruvian National Day (1 waiter and 1 bartender). When you said you were leaving because it was taking far too long, you didn't even receive an apology. At least the drinks were on the house. Still, it's a shame, the last time we left over 120 euros and after this time we will definitely go somewhere else.

Food and service on point! Had a very nice evening with friends. The dishes were all freshly prepared and all had that certain touch. Price-performance ratio is also right. Definitely coming back!

Incredible! All the dishes were very tasty, I especially liked the Yuca Frita, Seco de Carne, Ceviche de Pescado and of course the Peruvian corn tea (Chicha Morada). And finally dessert: Alfajores: homemade Peruvian cookies with milk cream filling😍. You're really missing out, go there and be happy. David was great and was great at accommodating and implementing all of our special requests regarding allergies and intolerances. 5+ ⭐️

The food was great. I have never tried Authentic peruvian food so I cannot compare but everything we've tried are delectable. Service is also fast and friendly. I've ordered the tacu tacu and the beef was tender and delicious. Paella is also good but I prefer the rice to be a little more cook through. Tres leches was also good. I've never tried a "wet cake", it was surprisingly good and interesting. We live 80kms away and just tried going here as we were also in Loop5 and they are not far away. Saw them in google maps and the restaurant looks interesting. We ate and it did not disappoint. There is no direct parking but can easily find within the vicinity. Card payment possible only from 50€ and above. If we are within the vicinity, I would say we would be regulars. I would love to try other dishes.

Unexpected, but surprisingly good! All the dishes were delicious and I think they were homemade too! If you've never been to Peru, you should go there! After speaking to the owner, these are supposed to be the real regional dishes that are cooked there! We really enjoyed it and we'll definitely be back. Next time we will try lamb and heart, these are supposed to be the favorites.

Yesterday we spontaneously visited this really wonderful restaurant! Everything is just right, from the service to the ambience, and the food is sensational! I had the 20 with chicken and my husband had the 22! First of all, calamari rings and ajoli! Everything fresh and homemade. We'll definitely be back :-)

Mi Perú refused to give food to the small children; it had already been discussed in advance and agreed that the children's dance group would eat real main courses and not Yuca Frita. This is very disappointing. I am a father of this dance group! The other mothers and fathers also agree with me.

Today, July 28, my husband and I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant MI PERU, Darmstadt. The service was exceptional, with attentive and friendly staff who made us feel at home. The food, authentic and delicious, transported us directly to Peru with every bite. We will definitely return to enjoy more of its exquisite Peruvian cuisine!

The food is really very good, fresh ingredients, well seasoned. The pickled shrimp, the yellow Peruvian sauce and the mushrooms in the tapas were a poem 👌 When it comes to cocktails, the piscos and sour variants are highly recommended. I enjoyed the classic Pisco Sour and the Amaretto Sour best for dessert. The location itself isn't necessarily ideal, as it's right on a large street. Unfortunately, the garbage cans next door started to smell at some point - but the best was really brought out of the outside area. If you want to avoid this, you can use the beautiful interior area. The employees were all super friendly, but unfortunately our orders were forgotten several times. At the tapas we were informed about a savings offer, at the happy hour four minutes later there was unfortunately no goodwill despite the not very attentive service. Overall, a very nice place for tapas and sour cocktails!

We waited a long time for food (over 1:30 hours) and it was sometimes cold. Several requests for payment were ignored and we waited for over half an hour again!

The food was good, the service was actually very nice, but when I paid, the overview of the receipt was only shown after I asked, only to then realize that a drink for €7 was doubly narrow-minded (which can happen sometimes) but nothing was said about it and didn't even apologize for it. Absolute no go for me.

Delicious food and excellent iced tea. All employees are very friendly and attentive. Sometimes there is also a weekly menu, but the normal menu also has something for everyone. There are also some tapas if you're slightly hungry. A great, authentic Peruvian restaurant in the city center of Darmstadt. The atmosphere and friendly service invite you to a lovely and delicious evening! The cocktails are best drunk at happy hour 😃 The highlight, however, is the food! Fresh components are skilfully showcased. Cumin, ginger, coriander or lemon juice provide the final kick. The selection of dishes is great and there is also a lot to discover for vegetarians. We'll be back 😃

After we have already visited several Peruvian restaurants in the Rhine-Main area, we drove to Darmstadt specifically to try out my Peru. Unfortunately we leave here with mixed feelings... We were greeted very rudely, the older waitress wasn't really friendly when ordering the food, for example. We politely asked for tips but only curt answers came back; you could tell she was in a bad mood. It's okay to have a bad day, we all do... but taking it out on your guests isn't professional. Especially when you ask for a good review at the end... that has a bitter aftertaste. I haven't seen card payments over €50 for years, even the bakery around the corner has switched to card payments. However, the younger waitress was very nice and polite. The portions are very large and very tasty, so the food was really very good, very fresh and we were very pleased with the quality.

All delicious. Above all, the ceviche was incredible. The lomo saltado was also very delicious, except for the potatoes (if they had been homemade the dish would have been fantastic too) The chicha did not contain sugar. I hope to return, it is very worth it!

We have reserved for 5 people. Starters all cold. Paella was ordered 2x1 then one came and had to go back to share. No one felt responsible and the manager didn't come either!!! All starters that were tried had to be paid for. Absolutely inadequate service, no competence, poor service staff. Didn't eat anything and still had to pay €110. Zero stars.

"Mi Perú" is a true gem of Peruvian cuisine. The restaurant offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere and an impressive selection of authentic dishes. The ceviche in particular is particularly recommended. Service is friendly and attentive. An absolute must. 5 Stars!

This restaurant really requires you to leave enough time (at least more than three hours) and not be hungry before coming back. Because we waited for an hour and a half and only drinks were served. At this moment, we are hungry and cold... we should still have to wait endlessly...

It was our first time there and we really enjoyed it and it tasted great! Everything was fresh, you could taste the different components. The aioli was very tasty, the ceviche was well seasoned and the meat in the main courses was butter tender. The service was friendly and competent! With the Pisco sour to start with, all in all a successful evening!

Einfach ein super Erlebnis! Ich hatte durch meine Peruanische Verlobte schon das ein oder andere Peruanische Gericht probieren dürfen und wir waren auch schon mal in Frankfurt in einem Restaurant, allerdings übertrifft dieses Restaurant das in Frankfurt bei weitem. Das Ceviche war das köstlichste was ich bisher essen durfte! Der Service und das Essen waren einwandfrei und ich werde mit meiner Verlobten öfters vorbeischauen! Danke für den super Abend!

The food was tasty but unfortunately there were two small things: 1. the food was unfortunately spicy although it wasn't listed and the 2. but I don't know if that's how it is in the country. Personally, I think the fish isn't seasoned enough, but as I said it's possible that this is how it is. But all in all the food was very tasty! Cocktail was very tasty

One star - unfortunately I can't give less. My visit to the Mi Peru restaurant was a complete disappointment. We arrived at 6pm and were the first guests, but that didn't seem to make any difference in the service. Despite our request to take our order, we were completely ignored. After we were finally able to order, we waited patiently, only to learn later that they had forgotten our order of a paella. It is incomprehensible and unacceptable that you come as the first guest of the evening and then have to leave without eating. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant and will definitely not be coming back.

Very tasty food. Young, friendly team. Even though the main course came a little late, it was worth it.

We made reservations by phone. When we got there there was no trace of the reservation. The waitress sat us in a tent on the terrace. It was poorly heated and dark. After 15 minutes without service we left. I can't say anything about the restaurant inside or the food. Just bad service. Suggestion for next time: Say straight away on the phone that it won't work or say straight away that it's better online.

Always super tasty. One star deducted for the ambience because it's always a bit too dark for me personally. I like to see what delicious food I eat.

The decor of the restaurant is nice and the staff is very friendly. Unfortunately, the dishes arrived with a delay and the case was very cold. The taste of the ceviche was very good, however the ceviche was very very cold (I know it's not supposed to be at room temperature, but it was very cold). The paella didn't taste like paella and the fajita was served cold. Not only was the food served at a delayed time: we had to wait a long time for the drinks. A pity. We were really looking forward to the visit

Service was very nice, food was very good :) overall a successful evening. You just have to bring some time, we were there for a total of three courses over three hours.

The food was a dream, but it was a bit stupid when ordering and receiving it. We were there in a large group and everyone had memorized the numbers they ordered and the waiters only knew which food and not the numbers. Was a bit confusing. In the end, almost everything worked, only food didn't come until two hours later. But overall it was a very nice experience to be there. Unfortunately it is not wheelchair accessible, you can get in but the toilet is not accessible (the corridor is not wide enough and there are four steps).

Never again, waited an hour for drinks, after 1.5 hours the food arrived, tapas that were cold, we ordered more, they were forgotten again, it used to be a really good restaurant, but now it's a disaster and it didn't taste good either.

A few days ago the two of us were at Mi Peru and ordered ceviche and four different tapas. From the first bite to the last, everything tasted really good 🤤. Our favorites were the ceviche and the bacon-wrapped dates. But actually everything was so delicious!!! The service was also very attentive and the food came quickly. We sat in the cozy side room and felt very comfortable there. We'll definitely be back 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Many thanks to the Mi Peru team.

I don't know if the dishes are faithful to Peruvian cuisine or not because I don't know it, what I do know is that the dish I tasted was outrageous. I recommend trying the dry lamb, delicious!

Wir gehen immer wieder sehr gerne in dieses Restaurant. Das Essen,ob Tapas oder peruanische Gerichte, sind durchweg lecker. Mein persönliches Lieblingsgericht ist das gebratene Rinderherz. Der Service ist auch immer super.....sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Kann man vorbehaltlos empfehlen. Nur ist es ratsam für abends einen Tisch zu reservieren, da es mit Spontanbesuchen nicht immer klappt.

Die Lokalität liegt sehr versteckt in einer nicht so attraktiven Umgebung. Trotzdem ist es einen Besuch wert, weil das Essen sehr vielfältig ist und sehr gut schmeckt.
