Meydan Restaurant - Lieferservice in Gladbeck

We are very satisfied with the food and also because, according to the owner, the restaurant is 100% halal and not just "halal". But what I'm missing are very sharp, non-ridged steak knives. Unfortunately, you only get a serrated knife, which destroys the structure of the steak when you cut it.

Whether it's a complete lunch (dinner) or a snack, it's always possible here. I like to come here to get the best ayran.

Christmas dinner ordered for the company for 14 people for €30 each. The food itself was good. Unfortunately the portions are very small. You get the feeling that the owner is very stingy (for an order of €400, 3-4 free drinks are OK, even though it's not included)

I've never been there before, but the food tastes very good and if you can't quite make it, you can take it with you. As far as I've seen, the only drinking in this Turkish restaurant is alcohol-free. So Cola, Fanta, Sprite and one more and then tea. But it was nice

Been there for the first time. It was really delicious, we tried almost everything and except for one thing that might be more of a matter of taste, it was very good. The service was exceptional and child friendly. We'll be back.

Since we recently moved to Gladbeck and regularly walked past the Meydan restaurant, we wanted to try the restaurant out. What can you say?? We are thrilled. Quickly reserve a table a few days in advance and then head to the restaurant in the evening. We received a very friendly welcome at the entrance (high five for our 2 1/2 year old son). After we had taken our seats and received our drinks, our order was taken as usual. Since my wife has a lactose intolerance, the reaction was really great and a dish was quickly changed so that she could enjoy delicious lamb chops with mixed salad, French fries and flatbread. You don't experience something like that everywhere. Both thumbs up. :-). In general, the service and friendliness is really great. The dishes soon arrived, the chicken skewer is a poem, with fresh, mixed salad (with rocket, tomatoes, etc.), French fries, and flatbread with really tasty dips. This white and especially red dip is really tasty, even though I don't really like spicy food. Our son devoured a portion of fries. I don't even know how to describe the evening, but we will DEFINITELY be back. Really great, good portions, great value for money and great service. Keep it up...and thank you again...

Can't understand the negative reviews, I've been there often with a company and also alone. I have always received very friendly and courteous service, the food is very tasty and plentiful, the drinks could be improved a bit, for example bitter lemon. I would also be happy to go there alone as a woman.

I ordered Adana Kebap there. And I have to say: it was exceptionally good! Really: it doesn't get much better than this. You can also clearly taste that it is made from lamb. Nice and spicy, great lamb taste. Beautiful bread was included and some great grilled vegetables. I can definitely recommend the store! I will eat (or order) something there again.

The waiter was very rude. I wanted to drink cola, he badmouthed the coke they sold. I ate Iskender and their bread was very dry. I don't recommend it to anyone.

I wanted Adana kebab, it was burnt at first, then it was uncooked. Also, the waiter was very polite. He kept replying curtly, he was trying to be cool in his own way... You can't be cool if you are rude, if you are polite you won't miss the customers!

I went on recommendation, but I wasn't satisfied. Iskender is made with crusty bread and is extremely oily. I don't recommend it to anyone.

We came to this Restaurant to have dinner with my friends this evening. But the waiter was so nervous and cavalier that we couldn't enjoy the stress. The bread under Alexander was so thick it would break teeth. It was all tolerable. But the service is really terrible. I do not recommend it. 👎🏻

I ate lamb ribs, the meat was delicious, but the portion was smaller than I expected and the price was higher for the portion. But most importantly for me, the service was not good at all, the waiters were quite harsh and behaved in a very low-level manner towards each other. Also, as far as I saw while paying the fee, the employees were not using gloves while preparing the orders. Never. I am not satisfied, I do not recommend it.

We, two women, were deliberately ignored at the table and simply not served. People walked right past us several times. A waiter looked directly at us, but didn't come. Several people who came after us also received the card after a short time. After more than half an hour we got up hungry and left.

There were four of us here in the evening and we were hungry. This restaurant was recommended to us and we were not disappointed ☝️😊 This was followed by the grill plate for 4 people and it was a feast. The lamb is as delicious as it has rarely tasted. The Ayran is homemade and super refreshing, really great there. A recommendation for Turkish cuisine ☝️❣️👋

Today, instead of Imbiss, I wanted to try Meydan Restaurant, which I read very positive comments about, for a delicious döner meal. I ordered a döner kebab. The service was terrible. There was neither napkin nor salt on the table. As you can see in the photo, they brought it wrapped in aluminum foil. As I said, there is no napkin, salt or pepper on the table. The whole world knows that aluminum foil causes cancer. I don't let it into my house. The doner kebab was too oily. The salad inside was unsalted. I was able to eat half of it. They had ordered pita bread at the next table and it looked very nice. Pita bread is preferable. I was just getting up. The waiter brought a salt shaker and napkin holder to the table. Tea was also served. For their sake, I give it a star.

Clear recommendation! Something in between a restaurant and a snack bar, the counter in the dining room like a snack bar, a menu like a restaurant. The best Turkish food around! You especially have to try the lunch menu. Super friendly service. Unfortunately the prices have been increased significantly (but where is that not the case right now?)

Today I spontaneously went to Meydan for dinner with the family. I had a kebab plate with fries and salad and a cocktail sauce. First things first…The food was great. The fries were nice and crispy, the salad was fresh and the meat was very tasty. The cocktail sauce was not a standard sauce, but homemade. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Any time!!!

I have to say, I was looking for a steakhouse nearby. The location is modernly furnished and the outdoor area is particularly attractive when the weather is nice. The employees are super friendly and you immediately feel welcome. When it gets busy, it can happen that something is forgotten here and there. Something half as wild can happen. The steak... I was so excited and I'm sure it's going to be awesome...Dry ager there, awesome meat in it... 😭😭😭 But there were 2 T-bone steaks that were 3-5 minutes past the desired cooking point. Every steak lover knows what that means, instead of medium or medium rare, both came in well done. The side dishes sauces... champion cream and curry sauce😅 Suggestion for improvement ➡️ -Cooking point steaks -Instead of sauces, a pot of herb butter is enough. Finally, I have to say everything else on offer is super tasty, super juicy. #Charcoal grill

Impossible behavior from the employees!!! My wife and I were sent off because a friend or relative of the worker came. My wife and I were supposed to be seated at a table. Another employee came and sent our waiter away scolding us as to how he could seat us at this table and pointed to a guest who had just come in the door and winked at him. They both smiled at each other. We were told that we couldn't sit there and were offered a place in the corner where office materials such as papers etc. lay. Of course, we went out immediately and we noticed how the employees and the colleague who got our seat were making fun of it. Such behavior is impossible towards guests. !!! Edit: You can't imagine that? I think you know exactly who we are? . We had been to their place several times recently until this incident. We will avoid their business and continue to publicize this behavior.

Bad, worse and passable. Bad service, dry bread probably from the day before, rice tasted bland and slimy. Everything was rather poorly seasoned than well seasoned. Carrots on the salad looked like they did 2 weeks ago. Peppers and tomatoes had been grilled carelessly and not turned. And the waiter wasn't even there, instead you can hear the customers shouting across the terrace about what they want to drink. We weren't even asked if we wanted anything or wanted anything else. Lousy performance price performance poor.

I am still thrilled about my last visit to the Meydan restaurant. The restaurant's ambience is welcoming and comfortable, perfect for a relaxing meal in a pleasant atmosphere. The service was attentive and friendly, which made the experience all the more enjoyable. The meal itself was a real treat. Each dish was tastefully prepared, with fresh ingredients and a presentation that was pleasing to the eye. The authentic preparation was particularly impressive, as it brought out the traditional flavors perfectly. I'm already looking forward to my next visit to Meydan and can't wait to try more dishes. I had dinner there with my family yesterday. First of all we had to wait about 20 minutes for the menu. Then another 10 minutes for our orders to be taken. It should be noted that the restaurant was quite empty at that time. The operation was a complete disaster and worked very sluggishly. For some of us the meat was undercooked and smelled unpleasant. I can hardly understand all the positive reviews. Price-performance ratio is also overpriced for the portions you receive. We were there for the first and last time!!!!

Wonderful from A to Z. I've eaten in this restaurant a few times. Today there was the big grill plate. The food was excellently prepared and everything was fried to perfection. The dessert selection is also one of my personal highlights. The service is very friendly, friendly and you feel very comfortable here. Highly Recommended!!

Were there for the first time and wanted to see what it was like. We were immediately surprised by the friendliness because we didn't know it from home... well, yes, but not like that. The three of us had a delicious meal on a Sunday evening. It was full. Good thing we had reservations. The service was great and the kitchen is surprisingly quick. After five minutes we had salad, bread and dips at the table. Hardly any waiting time for the main courses. Everything was very friendly and really tasty.

Sadly only 3 🌟 to be given... I had reserved in advance for 8 people, it was confirmed and it wasn't kept on site, it hasn't happened for the first time, so you should really think about whether you want to make a reservation with x people... otherwise the store is closed good and tasty.

Wir haben für den Meydan Restaurant aufgrund vielen positiven Bewertungen entschieden und enttäuscht wurden wir nicht. Das Restaurant befindet sich im Zentrum vom Gladbeck und am Anfang der Fußgängerzone. Ist nicht allzu groß, mit zwei Speisesälen und einer willkommenen, familienfreundlichen Atmosphäre. Die Sitzgelegenheiten sind alle gleich, meistens Tische für sechs Personen. Sehr breite Assortiment auf der Speisekarte von Salaten, Suppen und Vorspeise über den Traditionellen, Gegrillten und Pfannengerichten bis zum Bonfilet. Großes Angebot an Fleisch- und vegetarischen Speisen. Das Essen war genau das, was wir erhofft haben. Es war köstlich. Empfehlenswert sind Hänchenspieße, die mit hausgemachten Pommes, Reis und Salat serviert werden oder als Dürüm – Variante, gerollt mit frischen Salat und leckeren Cocktail in einem selbstgebackenen Fladen. Auch die Pfannengerichte, die nach Wunsch mit gegrillten Hänchen- oder Lammspieß servieren, müssen nicht entgehen. Firin Sütlaç war für mich etwas zu süß und könnte mit einer fruchtigen Note verfeinert und mit Pistazien sein. Schmeckte auch so gut. Sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Service. Insgesamt angenehme und positive Setting sorgte dafür, dass sich die Gäste hier Wohlfüllten.
