A very nice Egyptian family restaurant! The food is truly delicious and authentic. The koshari tastes like homemade – simply fantastic! This restaurant is an absolute gem, the selection on the menu, the service, everything is just incredible. My absolute favorite choice would have to be the Koshary Plate with a double portion of Kebdeh although the walk 20 meters to the nearby tram stop afterwards is no small feat on such a full stomach. I highly highly recommend here if you haven't been already!

The two people behind the counter were very hospitable and all the dishes were delicious. The noodles were very filling, so you can easily share them. I don't actually like falafel, but what can I say... These were surprisingly deliciously seasoned, not dry at all, very tasty.

Everything is perfect, except that payment is only possible in cash. I wish there was a delivery option via Uber Eats and other services; that would increase your earnings, and I would order regularly. I also hope the menu expands, for example, with mahshi, molokhia with rice, moussaka, and other Egyptian dishes.

Tuve una experiencia muy decepcionante con este restaurante. Hice un pedido, que simplemente se negaron a aceptar. Cuando llamé para preguntar por qué, me sorprendió escuchar que la razón era porque previamente les había dado una revisión de 4 estrellas hace un mes, aparentemente no lo suficientemente bueno para ellos. Nunca he encontrado este tipo de actitud mezquina y poco profesional en ningún restaurante de Berlín. Las reseñas están destinadas a reflejar experiencias genuinas de los clientes, no a usarse como una razón para incluir a alguien en la lista negra. Este comportamiento es completamente inaceptable y se refleja muy mal en cómo valoran a sus clientes. No volveré a pedir desde aquí, y espero que otros lo consideren antes de apoyar tal negocio.

Food was delicious, very well priced and service was fantastic-very nice owner! I highly recommend the meat platter (we had chicken and chicken liver) and the falafel- both are amazing, and came with extremely tasty salads such as tabbouleh and hummus and great sauces as well. Every single thing was perfect and very flavourful. We will come again!!

Table reserved for 8 people. Nice table provided, super warm owners and delicious food! A small drawback when it comes to the ambience, as it is quite small and can't quite shake off a certain snack charm. But gladly again, food highly recommended!

Wunderschön, wunderbar and sauber. There are many different types of wärmstens for all that can be used. Gerichte, bei einer sehr schweren Mahlzeit, die man nicht aufessen kann. Beautiful, wonderful, and clean. I highly recommend it for all well-known Egyptian dishes, with a very heavy meal that you cannot finish 😁😁😁

I’m from Egypt and I took my friends here looking for an authentic experience. Meta meya did not disappoint! The Koshari was really authentic, the liver was delicious, the falafel was the best I have had outside of Egypt! Great spot for a cozy casual meal.

I've been to many restaurants, but this Egyptian restaurant really impressed me. The dishes taste like they were fresh from Egypt: authentic, perfectly seasoned and prepared with so much love. The service is incredibly warm, you immediately feel welcome. The Koshary in particular was an absolute highlight!! I've never eaten anything like that! If you're looking for real Egyptian food and a warm atmosphere, you have to come here!

Unfortunately no toilet on site 🤷‍♂️ No problem if I take my food with me. But when you eat on site it can be a bit stupid. But I found the food 😋 delicious 😋 I'll stop by again on my next visit to the honeycomb :)

We went to this Egyptian restaurant today and were really pleasantly surprised! From the outside it looks rather inconspicuous, but inside you can expect a great atmosphere and very tasty aromas. The dishes were simply great - the spices and taste of Egyptian cuisine really blew us away. You notice how authentic the food is, something you don't find everywhere. The service was also great – super friendly and attentive. We can only recommend the restaurant, especially for anyone who likes Egyptian cuisine or simply wants to try something new. We'll definitely be back!

This is the best falafel I’ve ever had! The foul (cooked beans) are also super flavorful. I’ll keep going back and can’t wait to try more. The owner/chef is always so pleasant too.

The Koshary (Vegan dish) was unbelievably delicious and truly original in taste as if I was eating it in Egypt!! A small and unassuming shop, but the food is one of the best I've ever had. The price was appropriate for the quantity. The meat was very tasty, crispy and well seasoned, as was the halloumi. Everything was served with bread, salad and hummus. Highly recommended.
