Metropolitan Restaurant – Conveniently located but disappointing food We visited the Metropolitan Restaurant in Leonberg because we wanted to go to the nearby IMAX cinema. The location is very convenient as the restaurant is in the same building as the cinema. Unfortunately the restaurant did not meet our expectations. The ambience tries to convey the American diner style, but seems a bit trashy and not authentic. The flair and atmosphere don't really come across, it feels more like a "quick and dirty" meal. We had several burgers and a mixed platter. While the burger was okay, the mixed platter was rather disappointing and we didn't like it. The service was fine and friendly, but unfortunately the food was anything but good. I give a maximum of three stars for the food and only two stars for the ambience. The service gets three stars. There is plenty of parking space as the restaurant is attached to the cinema. Value for money was ok, but I would try another restaurant nearby next time. Rating: 3/5 stars

Very tasty food, price/performance ratio is also good. We've been there several times now and the food has always been very good. You can also go there outside of going to the cinema.

After our first visit to the Metropolitan, we actually asked ourselves why we hadn't thought of eating a burger there before the cinema :D The food was great! The portions are huge, the burgers are juicy and tasty - leaving every burger fan satisfied. The service guys deserve special mention. You really did a damn good job and it was clear that you really enjoyed your work despite the full shop and therefore stressful situations. Thank you for this great evening and for the good food :) Keep it up! We'll be back :)

Great diner with very tasty food. It's a shame that sitting outside is a bit busy because of the moviegoers and the street. But all in all, absolutely worth a visit.

We went to the cinema and then had something to eat. Since it was midweek and quite early, we had no problem getting a seat outside. The menu is very diverse and there is something for everyone. It was super tasty and everything was very fresh. Service was good and quite quick. Conclusion: We would love to come back.

Pleasant restaurant that is directly connected to the dream palace, there was a lot going on, so everything took a while, but in a pleasant setting. Ambiance is good but not outstanding. Vegetarian burger could be better, fries and salad are very good.

We love this restaurant!!! Have been there several times and always the best. You could sit down to eat. Prices are also okay for the large portions 😍The only thing is that it is often very full and then you have to wait longer to pay 🤣

We had something to eat before our visit to the cinema. I decided on a Balkan Burger. Unfortunately the burger was cold and tasteless. The patty from the burger was also very thin and dry, too many red onions and not enough of the rest. Price performance not acceptable. My ginger ale was also non-carbonated. The service was okay, but you always had to call someone and wait.

Unfortunately UNDERGROUND!!! Service: A person arrived late and was promptly ignored several times at the table by the service staff. He wasn't asked if he wanted anything to eat or drink and he was there for an impressive 1.5 hours and he made his presence known several times. To order a coffee I had to make myself known several times, almost forcing myself to do so. Yesterday I noticed 4 or 5 service staff. The location was well attended, but the coordinates were a catastrophe given the number of staff and incredibly hectic. Bad division. Unprofessional. Food: One person threw up for an entire night because of their burger. Luckily everyone else only had salads and potato products. Ambiance: What's the use of a nice ambience if the rest is literally sickening. Very very very disappointed.

Short summary: 🍔 Damn delicious! 🍔 Great ambience and atmosphere 🍔 The service is awesome! 🍔 Definitely always happy! We decided at very short notice to go out to eat and after a lot of back and forth we decided on the Metropolitan in Leonberg. The reservation via the website was easy, although I still don't know whether it actually arrived because we had free choice of seats when we arrived. The decor is based on a diner, everything was appealing and took us on a little vacation. For food there was a finger food platter with chicken wings, chicken nuggets, onion rings (so good! 😍), fries and much more - and we would have had enough with that. However, we were so hungry when we ordered that we each had a burger as our main course (actually, in this case, dessert 😂). The entire meal was on point, super tasty and highly recommended! What was funny was that we were able to continue watching the European Championships while we ate because TVs were hung in every direction. We and some other guests thought it was great ☺️ Otherwise: milkshakes (yes, we really filled our bellies O.o) are great! Parking in the parking garage costs money, but is possible right around the corner. Since this was our first visit to the dream palace (where the restaurant is located), we can't say anything about the remaining parking options. We'll definitely be back and are already looking forward to it ☺️😍🍔

A wide selection of burgers with side dishes, the highlight is the upgrade to Double or Impossible for the burgers.

No one came to serve us, we had to go to the bartender ourselves and ask for drinks, he did it quickly and without any problems, even when we got the drinks no one came and no one paid either, conclusion that you probably won't go there if you don't have any have time

Hmm. Unfortunately not as good as expected. The burgers can be eaten, but unfortunately the quality and taste are disappointing. The dip could use some spice and the fries and potato wedges taste a lot like stale fat. The cocktail was so sweet that Spezi tasted like water in contrast. A pity! We got a table at 6 p.m. without any problems (Saturday). After that it got really crowded. But the service is very nice and makes an effort.

I had the Meteopolitan Burger with wild potatoes. As always, it was very tasty. The service staff was very friendly. The online reservation worked.

We had made a reservation for two people before we went to the cinema, which I strongly recommend, especially on the weekend. The service was very friendly, showed us our place and took the drinks quickly. The ambience has something of a train station hall, as it is very large, but the furnishings are reminiscent of a diner. Our burgers tasted good, but not the highlight. It lacked a little spice. For me, spicy means spicy. The salad was fresh and the wedges tasted good, the dip could have used some spice. But I would always come back before going to the cinema because the service is friendly and the food is fresh.

Delicious burgers and sweet potato fries, unfortunately none of us liked the side salad. In addition, our service was super unfriendly, neither a hello nor a please/thank you. There were 4 of us. And she gave us 3 menus. The service at the neighboring table wasn't really friendly either. Unfortunately, all of the wait staff were not in a good mood. Except for one man who was always smiling. When we discovered that the packets of mayo had expired, they didn't even really listen to us but instead threw the packets back in from our "box". When we told the waitress again that they had expired, he said sorry and took them away. So the customer isn't really listened to here, new mayo was only available when we asked another waitress about it. It was nice because we went to the cinema afterwards...

The burgers were really great. A crispy chicken patty in a mighty burger. The fries were fantastic and what I particularly appreciated: Mayo and ketchup were on the table and you could take as much as you wanted. The Caesar salad was also great. Only the chicken strips could have been warm. The service was also very friendly. When someone writes here that the service was “impersonal,” I seriously wonder whether they expect the waitress to sit on their lap when they check out. In any case, the service was quick. Well, we were there on a Tuesday evening, it wasn't full, so we didn't have to worry about free seats and neither the kitchen nor the waiters were overwhelmed. Things might look different at the weekend. The ambiance is exactly what I expect from a modern American restaurant. There isn't the cozy cosiness of a German country inn. Price-performance ratio was appropriate.

You can get good burgers and pizzas and feel like you are in a countryside restaurant of the USA. The Quattro Formaggi pizza was very tasty and even though i thought the pizza was small, it was perfect! By the end i was full... Oh and I loved my cocktail as well ...

We can only recommend this American diner. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is super tasty and the portions are really big. Price-performance ratio fits. We were here with a group of 18 people and everything went great. The food came very quickly and, most importantly, at the same time so we could eat together. A big compliment to the entire team at Metropolitan 😀

Had reservations for Superbowl Sunday, everything went well and we were served quickly. Unfortunately, a few things got mixed up/misunderstood when ordering. The food came quickly. We didn't think the burgers were that good, but otherwise it was tasty. The price is OK. The ambience was nice, it wasn't too loud, you could have a good conversation and the service was ok.

Was eating there. The cola wheat tasted “old” and not fresh. The food arrived less than 5 minutes after ordering. Metropolitan salad with meat. Salad was tasty, but meat was very rubbery. I also ordered chili cheese nuggets, which weren't really my cup of tea. They didn't taste like anything. Service was friendly and quick. There's nothing wrong with that. You can hardly complain about the ambience either. It is clean and American-style furnished with some eye catchers, for example the cool Cola pick-up on the wall. All in all a 3 out of 5

Faster than fast food. Some of the food came after just 2 minutes. Everyone can decide for themselves whether that is good or worrying. It took me longer to order. The meal was not served together. I find that very unprofessional. I also can't quite understand the prices. I don't see the price difference between spare ribs and the onion roast. Repetition? Probably not.

Wo waren zu acht zum Abendessen. Vorweg das gute: die Burger sind echt in Ordnung und lecker. Bestellt man Pommes dazu bekommt man für €4,50 einen Klecks neben dem Burger. Und übersalzen waren die Pommes auch. Cocktails sind gar nicht zu empfehlen. Wir hatten Mojito und Tequila Sunrise. Schlecht wie im All inclusive Urlaub. Als ob es mit Strip gemacht ist. Der Service hat sich Mühe gegeben, hatte aber den Überblick verloren und Tische vertauscht obwohl der Laden nicht voll war. Es laufen 3-4 Bedienungen die ganze Zeit um dich rum, und trotzdem muss man nach seiner getätigten trinkbestellung nachfragen. Der Abend war trotzdem in Ordnung Ob wir nochmal hingehen wissen wir nicht

Rostbraten war sehr lecker, der Salat auch, Es gibt hierzu eine Auswahl an Beilagen. Der Salat kann mit ausgewählt werden als Beilage.

I can recommend just Italian Burger!

Bei sperrips habe ich die Hälfte bekommen wie vor halben Jahr.Musste dannach noch was essen.Gut war es aber eine Kinderportion,war total enttäuscht.

Das Essen, in meinem Fall ein Burger, war ok. Und das meine ich wie ich es sage. Warum ein solches Restaurant nicht in der Lage ist über meine Pommes etwas Käse zu machen ist mir unklar. Die Milchshakes sind ein Flop. Viel Milch, kaum Eis und geschmacklich eher wie stark verdünnter Sirup. Mit wenig Aufwand wäre hier viel zu erreichen.

Die Pizza war überraschend gut. Wer vor - oder nach dem Kino Hunger hat ist hier richtig aufgehoben. Man erwartet amerikanische Küche und genau diese bekommt man hier. Leider etwas unpersönlich, aber vielleicht war das nur eine Momentaufnahme.

Bin hier hin und wieder vor oder nach dem Kino, es gibt gute Burger in vielen Varianten, der Service ist immer freundlich und schnell. Die Beilagen sind gut, nur der Salat ist wechselhaft und war das letzte Mal sehr gut, das vorletzte Mal jedoch nicht mehr ganz der frischeste. Leider ist es oft sehr laut und in größerer Runde etwas schwer sich zu unterhalten - trotzdem eine Empfehlung, insbesondere in Kombination mit einem Kinobesuch.

Super lecker, hohe Qualität, sehr große Portionen, nettes und aufmerksames Personal. Das Ambiente ist ein bisschen laut und hektisch, aber nur störend, wenn man nicht im „mood“ dafür ist. Ansonsten alles TOP!

2 Jahre sind vergangen, seit ich das letzte Mal in einem Restaurant war. Die Qualität des Fleisches ist immer noch sehr gut, die Atmosphäre ist sehr angenehm und der Kellner Saša ist ein Mann, der sein Handwerk versteht. Fürsorglich und aufmerksam, überprüfte regelmäßig den Tisch. Wir kommen wegen des Essens und Saša wieder zurück

Ambiente ist top, Essen ist okay aber bin leider sehr enttäuscht von den Cocktails. Mit denen wird man hier irgendwie veräppelt. Die alkoholischen Cocktails könnte man mit alkoholfreien verwechseln.

Nettes und nostalgisches Restaurant direkt neben dem Cineplex. Perfekt um z.b. vor oder nach dem Kino noch was zu Essen. Die Atmosphäre ist einladend. Schön anzuschauen. Auch das Essen ist lecker. Von Rostbraten bis hin zur Pizza ist alles dabei. Auch für die Kleinen gibt es einige Gerichte. Negativ empfand ich jetzt nur die Musik. Für meinen Geschmack etwas zu laut. Gerade für einen Sonntag Nachmittag. Da sollte die Musik leise im Hintergrund laufen. Und nicht so laut das man sich nicht mehr in normaler Stimme mit seiner Familie unterhalten kann. Ansonsten zu empfehlen.

Immer wieder einen Besuch wert, gelegentlich dauert es etwas lang bis das Essen kommt.

War schon mehrmals vor oder nach einem Kino Besuch hier zum Essen. Beim letzten Mal hatte ich Spare Ribs und einen Ipanema. Beides super lecker, die Ribs waren extrem zart und die Knochen haben sich fast schon von allein vom Fleisch gelöst. Die Ofenkartoffel mit pulled pork meiner Begleitung war ebenfalls sehr lecker. Die Pizza bei einem früheren Besuch hatte mich leider nicht wirklich überzeugt. Personal ist sehr freundlich, bedient wurden wir jedes Mal sehr zügig und die Wartezeiten aufs Essen waren immer sehr kurz. Für vor/nach dem Kino optimal, extra nur zum Essen würde ich vermutlich aber nicht hin fahren.

🥉 Der Metropolitan Burger hatte geschmacklich eine durchschnittliche Qualität und wurde ohne Beilagen serviert. 🥇 Der Caesar-Salat war jedoch außergewöhnlich lecker und hatte ein ansprechendes Aussehen. 🥈 Das Restaurant ist relativ groß und im amerikanischen Stil gestaltet. 🥈 Der Service und das Verhalten des Personals waren angemessen. 🥉 Die Zubereitungszeit war aufgrund der leichten Überlastung etwas lang.

Essen war okay, Burger sind nichts besonderes. Portionen sind ordentlich und Preise moderat. Kann man machen wenn man ins Kino will, extra hinfahren würde ich nicht.

Ich war von der außergewöhnlichen Freundlichkeit des Personals in diesem Restaurant beeindruckt. Vom Moment meiner Ankunft bis zur Verabschiedung fühlte ich mich herzlich willkommen und gut umsorgt. Das Personal war nicht nur aufmerksam, sondern auch äußerst kinderfreundlich, was den Besuch für meine Familie und mich äußerst angenehm gestaltete. Diese warme und einladende Atmosphäre trug maßgeblich zu unserem positiven Eindruck bei und machte den Besuch zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis!

Das Essen war innerhalb 10 Minuten serviert. Leider war die Bedienung nicht sehr motiviert, lag aber evtl auch daran das sie die gesamte Terasse alleine bedienen musste. Die Spareribs waren der Wahnsinn, super zart und saftig.

The restaurant offers good food for reasonable prices. The sitting area is very huge and one can choose from a varied selection of food. The service was good but they could do better. Waiters spoke good English and were helpful. We were a group of 4 and spent 70€ combined on food and drinks which is reasonable in a city like stutguart.
