Nice ambience, friendly staff, very tasty food.

I was always very happy with the restaurant, but for about four weeks now, they've only accepted debit cards instead of credit cards. Plus, there's a new menu, and the famous Uncle Sam Burger is no longer available... no future, a clear step backwards. It's a real shame for such a place. Debit cards are dying out, and then to have to pay at such a busy restaurant... very disappointing.

Hey, what's going on with you guys? You were really great for years. We always loved coming here and recommended you to others. But lately, the prices seem to be going up while the quality is going down. Some of the food was only lukewarm, and after seeing the movies, I even had stomach problems. I've never had that happen at your place before. I really hope you pull yourselves together and get back to your old standards. It would be such a shame to lose a restaurant that used to be so great.

The food was good and the service was nice

The service was very friendly and everything was very quick. Too quick for our liking. It seemed like everything was reheated and not freshly prepared. The corn on the cob was cold. The coleslaw was store-bought (and tasted like Homann's). The fries could have been crispier. We went there under false pretenses, as the menu on their website listed more steaks, including beef. The disappointment came when we arrived. They only had burgers with beef patties, and otherwise just schnitzel and pork loin steak. Very disappointing! It was also extremely loud. We probably won't be coming back.

I didn't eat there, but the ambiance, service, and parking are perfect.

We ate there on Sunday around 2:30 pm after a movie. The restaurant looks modern and brand new. The service is very friendly and child-friendly. Our server, Semir, was very nice, patient, and really efficient! The restrooms were clean, and the children felt comfortable. All our special requests were taken into account and fulfilled. The fries should be replaced—there are better quality ones available. The grated carrots on everything are unnecessary. The portions were really generous—even for big eaters! :-) I would have liked to see remoulade and mustard on the table. And refreshing hand wipes would be great. But that's just a suggestion. We'll be back!! 🙂

We went there before going to the cinema. Nice atmosphere, delicious food that was freshly prepared, and friendly staff.

We always come here to work after bowling a few pins next door. We all enjoyed the food and we'll be back again this year. December 10, 2024

I've eaten there several times and was always satisfied. The staff were always friendly, the food was always delicious, and always arrived within a few minutes.

We had dinner at the Metropolitan yesterday. Everything was very good. The burgers with fries, chicken and chili cheese, nuggets, and salads were all cooked to perfection and arrived in a reasonable time. The staff were consistently friendly and accommodating. 🔝 I'll definitely be back.

The staff is sometimes a bit overwhelmed, but friendly. Due to the cinema, it's often very busy.

I was here on a very quiet Saturday morning. The server was very friendly. I really liked him. Unfortunately, I couldn't remember his name. He even received his personal drink for his outstanding service. Great, keep it up! I love the sweet potatoes. It'll obviously get quite busy in the evening...

Going to the cinema and eating something before/after is okay.

The staff was very friendly and the food (burgers) was delicious. We caught a sunny late afternoon and were able to dine comfortably on the terrace under a parasol. Unfortunately, some members of our group were charged the regular price for their cocktails instead of the happy hour price. So it's best to get a bill and check the amount.

I ate some very tasty ribs and a Cesar salad. 🥰🥰🥰

They let guests sit in the blazing sun, and even after asking them to open the parasol, they refuse, using the lame excuse that it's going to rain in an hour. Really? That's how you get rid of guests.

The four of us just wanted a quick drink. The waitress was super-responsive and very friendly. But then... No debit card payments under €20, no advance notice. It's 2025, and I just don't understand this. There's no real reason for this anymore, so please change that.

The best wild potato wedges I've ever eaten. Super crispy on the outside, moist and soft on the inside. Amazing! My son had a Margherita pizza, which was square, large, and absolutely delicious. I had schnitzel with wedges. A full 5 stars. I'd love to go back.

The food came really quickly and was really good, too. Typical American fare, especially the burgers. It's a great place to eat before or after the movies. The pulled pork burger is definitely recommended!

The fries made a good impression at first glance. Unfortunately, when eating them, I discovered that some of them weren't fully cooked inside. Nobody likes that slightly floury feeling with a hard center, and I don't either. The schnitzels didn't impress me either. The quality was only okay overall, although the first schnitzel was a bit better. The second one was more difficult to eat, and some of it ended up sticking to the plate. The breading had soaked up a lot of fat, which significantly diminished the enjoyment. The plate looked more impressive than it could hold in terms of taste. The ambiance is fine, and you can see the attempt to create an American diner style, which partially succeeds. I found it a shame that there are no special offers or facilities for younger children, such as a play area. We paid around €54 for a large Fanta, a small Fanta, a 0.33-liter bottle of Coke Zero, a schnitzel with fries, chicken nuggets with fries, a portion of fries, and "wild potatoes." That would have been fine if the quality had been good, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. After this experience, we won't be visiting the Metropolitan again. After the movie, we'll look for another place to eat in the future. Honestly, we probably would have even left McDonald's happier.

The burger was really delicious and juicy. The sweet potatoes were also great. It was quite filling. The service was friendly.

Questionable service. If the wrong dish is served, it can happen, no big deal. But slamming the pizza down, then running away after a customer points out the wrong dish and referring it to a colleague, that's not acceptable! The incorrect pizza then sat on the table for 3-4 minutes until, upon request, a colleague kindly came to the table and took the pizza. After a relatively short wait, the correct pizza arrived. Nice atmosphere, good food.

Credit cards aren't accepted. Luckily, I had enough cash. Who still has a traditional debit card these days? It's 2025, not 1990. What's the problem? 1% higher fees or something? The waitress told me that customers should go to the cinema and withdraw money from the ATM and pay their bill. That was the last time I ate there. The pizza was OK, but nothing special.

Credit card payments are suddenly no longer accepted. The new service is much more unfriendly to customers.

We've eaten there twice and will definitely go back again. The burgers and fries are very good, and the staff is very attentive ☺️ I would recommend making a reservation, though. We were lucky both times, but many tables were already reserved.

One of my absolute favorite restaurants for years! The food is always top-notch – whether it's a burger, pizza, spare ribs, or salad. The service is always friendly, and the atmosphere is pleasantly relaxed. If I had to point out one criticism, it would be that the music inside is sometimes a bit too loud. Otherwise, I have absolutely no complaints. An all-around great restaurant!

We recently went there on a Thursday evening at 10:30 p.m. after a movie to grab a drink. The opening hours were until 11 p.m. We were somewhat reluctantly told that they were out of food. We didn't want that either. So we ordered tea and a cold drink. We were then told that the hot water machine was already off. When we asked if they could turn it back on, the only answer was a curt no. If you don't want to serve customers friendly at 10:30 p.m., then just change your opening hours.

It's always worth a visit after a trip to the cinema. The staff is always very friendly and attentive, the food is delicious, and the portions are definitely filling. The pizza is a delicious highlight, and the baked potatoes are also really good.

I'd say it's less than mediocre, and definitely not a recommendation from me. The food is so-so, poorly presented, and the service seems neither organized nor attentive when taking your order.

Great restaurant and food and very friendly waitress.

Very good food, unfortunately our orders were mixed up 3 times in a row. Sprite became sparkling water twice in a row and a chocolate milkshake quickly became a strawberry milkshake, but the food was a 10/10 and perhaps there was just a mix-up due to the many visitors.

The two of us were there yesterday. The food was okay - the burger was not so good with half raw meat and dripping with sauce, but the fries were very tasty. But what was really subpar was the service from the waitress: My friend got his burger half an hour before me and so we had to eat individually so that at least it didn't get cold. When I got my food, it was immediately cleared away, whereupon we just looked at each other speechless. At the end when I was paying, my friend was insulted by her for no reason when the card machine didn't work. At least we didn't get a goodbye either, instead she slapped the bill on the table and left.

There were three of us eating and as soon as I ordered I was treated like a reprimand. After we ate we sat there for over 45 minutes with our plate full of bones and when we went to pay we stood there with our hands raised like we were in school because no one was paying attention.

At 9:20 p.m. the kitchen is already closed. What time is it open until?

Were there on a Saturday evening with a larger registered group. The staff was very few and disorganized and didn't seem friendly. After ordering for the fourth time, the last meal arrived. When ordering, no one asked if anyone else wanted something because they were really thirsty. All in all not recommended!!!

I've been to Metropolitan several times and have never gone home unsatisfied. Service and atmosphere is usually great, the food is sometimes better, sometimes worse (the last time the meat was quite dry), but never bad, correspondingly 4 stars.

I've never been to such a great restaurant. I look forward to going there every time. So beautifully decorated. Nice operation, just fits. All I can say is: WOW WOW WOW! The food, amazing, just a dream. Would go there again every time. I just associate so much with this restaurant, love; Family.... Can only recommend all of this! WOW WOW WOW! The drinks are also really cool and, above all, very tasty! The atmosphere, you can just say that everything is really cozy in terms of style. I feel so comfortable there!

Great location, especially in summer, when there aren't smokers sitting on the terrace, but they can't do anything about that. Family with 2 children. 63 euros. It's cheaper than at other restaurants, where we always pay 67 euros and more and don't have a latte macchiato with us. Portions are really okay. Compared to Hans im Glück (3x as many fries), Hans really has to do more. Beverage glasses appear larger than 0.4 l. Waitress rolls her eyes because a child was in the way when she had to go that way. Totally understandable, but not the first time and not when there is little going on. Believe us, mothers are more annoyed by children when they get in the way😅 We generally don't tip unless it was an exceptionally positive experience. You also don't tip the car mechanic, even though he repairs your car. What I mean by this is that tipping has been so normalized just because it means they don't earn well. But other professions don't pay well either. There are no tips and no one expects one. positive: location, outdoor lighting, prices, portions. By the way, the toilet smells very good. Unfortunately, no towels, only a hairdryer. On Sundays you can park for free (outside the parking garage)

So we were absolutely dissatisfied. The baked potatoes didn't taste good and were watery. The meat in the rump steak was of poor quality and cold. It was difficult to cut even with steak knives. It was the same when chewing. The herb butter didn't even want to melt on the steak. So we don't recommend it

A place for wonderful times together, with very attentive staff and a super friendly boss. We felt very comfortable.

Well, right at the entrance there is a strong smell of fries and grease. There are bottles of ketchup and mayonnaise on the tables. I don't find it particularly inviting, as you never know who has had these bottles in their hands. The cutlery is also all a bit older. The food was ok, but nothing more. It all seems a bit loveless. Fries, schnitzel, burgers, everything quickly fried. I think in the kitchen it's bang, bang, the same thing every day...we were here for a film and won't eat here anymore. There are better and fresher alternatives.

Enjoy your meal. The ribs are unbeatable. I've ordered ribs in many restaurants... but these are at the top. Service is friendly and helpful, even if you come without a reservation, you can usually get a seat with a short wait. The location is nice, but if you look closely you notice the age, for example cracks in the leather seats... but that doesn't really bother you. Definitely worth a visit.

Opening times misleading! The entrance said until 11 p.m. We were cashed in at 9:30 p.m. and then we were immediately seated. We didn't get any information that they were closing now! The atmosphere was good, see you then The music was turned off at 9:45 p.m. Now it was clear that we should please drink up and leave. Rating In one word: WEIRD

I can't understand the positive review. We were in a group for the second time (we wanted to test whether the first visit was just an exception) in this restaurant. The second visit was more terrible than the first. The service was quick and nice, at least at first. The food was subpar, the plates had to be replaced 3 times because of old food residue (there were very clearly visible potato chunks on the plate, under the plate, and other things). And even then they weren't really clean. Since we were hungry, we finally gave up asking for clean plates. The food came quickly and was ok, but not tasty. For the price we expect something different. The alcohol was forgotten in the cocktails. If I had the employees If I had watched cocktail mixes before ordering, I would have ordered a bottle of beer. The hygiene also left a lot to be desired. Conclusion: definitely cannot be recommended

Typically American flair with friendly service. My sweet potato fries were delicious. Had a wonderful time and great food before we went to the cinema.

It was a successful start to an evening at the Filmpalast Leonberg. We had delicious onion rings as a starter, the garlic dip was great, it wasn't just over-seasoned with garlic, as is unfortunately usually the case. The burgers and pizza we had were a poem. We will definitely come back.

Unfortunately it wasn't good. After asking about the plate we ordered for the fourth time, the waiter was totally unfriendly and simply slammed the food on the table for our son, not even wishing him a good appetite. Something like that just doesn't work! We are super disappointed and won't be coming back.

Too loud.. That's what was noticed first. Too big for me personally, but that's just my objective opinion. Our waiter was great, I can't complain about the service. I personally found the food very, very weak. Personally, I think spareribs that are more reminiscent of overcooked roast pork miss the mark. The fact that there is no finish with barbecue sauce and instead a careless blob is slapped on top is also not my thing. And you shouldn't talk about the so-called coleslaw. Old shredded, slightly spicy cabbage mixed with mayo and put dry carrot strips on top has nothing, absolutely nothing, to do with coleslaw. But the prices of the drinks are ok.
