Metropolitan Leonberg in Leonberg

Very good food, unfortunately our orders were mixed up 3 times in a row. Sprite became sparkling water twice in a row and a chocolate milkshake quickly became a strawberry milkshake, but the food was a 10/10 and perhaps there was just a mix-up due to the many visitors.

The two of us were there yesterday. The food was okay - the burger was not so good with half raw meat and dripping with sauce, but the fries were very tasty. But what was really subpar was the service from the waitress: My friend got his burger half an hour before me and so we had to eat individually so that at least it didn't get cold. When I got my food, it was immediately cleared away, whereupon we just looked at each other speechless. At the end when I was paying, my friend was insulted by her for no reason when the card machine didn't work. At least we didn't get a goodbye either, instead she slapped the bill on the table and left.

There were three of us eating and as soon as I ordered I was treated like a reprimand. After we ate we sat there for over 45 minutes with our plate full of bones and when we went to pay we stood there with our hands raised like we were in school because no one was paying attention.

At 9:20 p.m. the kitchen is already closed. What time is it open until?

Were there on a Saturday evening with a larger registered group. The staff was very few and disorganized and didn't seem friendly. After ordering for the fourth time, the last meal arrived. When ordering, no one asked if anyone else wanted something because they were really thirsty. All in all not recommended!!!

I've been to Metropolitan several times and have never gone home unsatisfied. Service and atmosphere is usually great, the food is sometimes better, sometimes worse (the last time the meat was quite dry), but never bad, correspondingly 4 stars.

I've never been to such a great restaurant. I look forward to going there every time. So beautifully decorated. Nice operation, just fits. All I can say is: WOW WOW WOW! The food, amazing, just a dream. Would go there again every time. I just associate so much with this restaurant, love; Family.... Can only recommend all of this! WOW WOW WOW! The drinks are also really cool and, above all, very tasty! The atmosphere, you can just say that everything is really cozy in terms of style. I feel so comfortable there!

Great location, especially in summer, when there aren't smokers sitting on the terrace, but they can't do anything about that. Family with 2 children. 63 euros. It's cheaper than at other restaurants, where we always pay 67 euros and more and don't have a latte macchiato with us. Portions are really okay. Compared to Hans im Glück (3x as many fries), Hans really has to do more. Beverage glasses appear larger than 0.4 l. Waitress rolls her eyes because a child was in the way when she had to go that way. Totally understandable, but not the first time and not when there is little going on. Believe us, mothers are more annoyed by children when they get in the way😅 We generally don't tip unless it was an exceptionally positive experience. You also don't tip the car mechanic, even though he repairs your car. What I mean by this is that tipping has been so normalized just because it means they don't earn well. But other professions don't pay well either. There are no tips and no one expects one. positive: location, outdoor lighting, prices, portions. By the way, the toilet smells very good. Unfortunately, no towels, only a hairdryer. On Sundays you can park for free (outside the parking garage)

The food is really great, the service is very nice and the atmosphere is pleasant, and the prices are fair and reasonable! However, only 4/5 stars because the "Impossible" burgers are completely doable :/

So we were absolutely dissatisfied. The baked potatoes didn't taste good and were watery. The meat in the rump steak was of poor quality and cold. It was difficult to cut even with steak knives. It was the same when chewing. The herb butter didn't even want to melt on the steak. So we don't recommend it

Well, right at the entrance there is a strong smell of fries and grease. There are bottles of ketchup and mayonnaise on the tables. I don't find it particularly inviting, as you never know who has had these bottles in their hands. The cutlery is also all a bit older. The food was ok, but nothing more. It all seems a bit loveless. Fries, schnitzel, burgers, everything quickly fried. I think in the kitchen it's bang, bang, the same thing every day...we were here for a film and won't eat here anymore. There are better and fresher alternatives.

Enjoy your meal. The ribs are unbeatable. I've ordered ribs in many restaurants... but these are at the top. Service is friendly and helpful, even if you come without a reservation, you can usually get a seat with a short wait. The location is nice, but if you look closely you notice the age, for example cracks in the leather seats... but that doesn't really bother you. Definitely worth a visit.

The food was very tasty, the price was reasonable and I really liked the ambience. The waitresses were a bit overwhelmed because the restaurant was a bit full and there were only two of them, but we received our food relatively quickly.

So I've always been very happy with the restaurant, but for the past 4 weeks you've only been able to pay with EC instead of credit card, no future, a clear step backwards. It's a real shame for a shop like this. Giro is dying out and then with such a busy shop… very, very sad

Nice restaurant but unfortunately there was no reception at the entrance and the baked potato was still cold, so it didn't work with a 3 minute microwave! I was then asked if I wanted something on the house instead?! Uh, no - I would like a bill reduction! Sorry...

Opening times misleading! The entrance said until 11 p.m. We were cashed in at 9:30 p.m. and then we were immediately seated. We didn't get any information that they were closing now! The atmosphere was good, see you then The music was turned off at 9:45 p.m. Now it was clear that we should please drink up and leave. Rating In one word: WEIRD

I can't understand the positive review. We were in a group for the second time (we wanted to test whether the first visit was just an exception) in this restaurant. The second visit was more terrible than the first. The service was quick and nice, at least at first. The food was subpar, the plates had to be replaced 3 times because of old food residue (there were very clearly visible potato chunks on the plate, under the plate, and other things). And even then they weren't really clean. Since we were hungry, we finally gave up asking for clean plates. The food came quickly and was ok, but not tasty. For the price we expect something different. The alcohol was forgotten in the cocktails. If I had the employees If I had watched cocktail mixes before ordering, I would have ordered a bottle of beer. The hygiene also left a lot to be desired. Conclusion: definitely cannot be recommended

Typically American flair with friendly service. My sweet potato fries were delicious. Had a wonderful time and great food before we went to the cinema.

It was a successful start to an evening at the Filmpalast Leonberg. We had delicious onion rings as a starter, the garlic dip was great, it wasn't just over-seasoned with garlic, as is unfortunately usually the case. The burgers and pizza we had were a poem. We will definitely come back.

Heute war der Service besser als alles andere. Man hat reserviert und es fand dann keine statt. Hinterher hat man erfahren das man gar nicht reservieren kann. Essen war schon mal wesentlich besser.

Unfortunately it wasn't good. After asking about the plate we ordered for the fourth time, the waiter was totally unfriendly and simply slammed the food on the table for our son, not even wishing him a good appetite. Something like that just doesn't work! We are super disappointed and won't be coming back.

It was very busy, but the staff managed everything really well. The food was also very good and came relatively quickly. Everything was great, but the volume was sometimes unbearable.

Too loud.. That's what was noticed first. Too big for me personally, but that's just my objective opinion. Our waiter was great, I can't complain about the service. I personally found the food very, very weak. Personally, I think spareribs that are more reminiscent of overcooked roast pork miss the mark. The fact that there is no finish with barbecue sauce and instead a careless blob is slapped on top is also not my thing. And you shouldn't talk about the so-called coleslaw. Old shredded, slightly spicy cabbage mixed with mayo and put dry carrot strips on top has nothing, absolutely nothing, to do with coleslaw. But the prices of the drinks are ok.

Die Tischreservierung online für Samstag Abend hat funktioniert. Der Platz für uns 4 Menschen war ok. Ingesamt ist das Lokal sehr laut wenn es voll ist. Das Essen war lecker und preiswert. Die Bedienungen waren freundlich und auf Zack. Die Toiletten (Herren) waren sauber.

Food delicious, atmosphere great. Minor differences with the service (space and reservation). Hence a star deduction. Still highly recommended.

Metropolitan Restaurant – Conveniently located but disappointing food We visited the Metropolitan Restaurant in Leonberg because we wanted to go to the nearby IMAX cinema. The location is very convenient as the restaurant is in the same building as the cinema. Unfortunately the restaurant did not meet our expectations. The ambience tries to convey the American diner style, but seems a bit trashy and not authentic. The flair and atmosphere don't really come across, it feels more like a "quick and dirty" meal. We had several burgers and a mixed platter. While the burger was okay, the mixed platter was rather disappointing and we didn't like it. The service was fine and friendly, but unfortunately the food was anything but good. I give a maximum of three stars for the food and only two stars for the ambience. The service gets three stars. There is plenty of parking space as the restaurant is attached to the cinema. Value for money was ok, but I would try another restaurant nearby next time. Rating: 3/5 stars

Very tasty food, price/performance ratio is also good. We've been there several times now and the food has always been very good. You can also go there outside of going to the cinema.

After our first visit to the Metropolitan, we actually asked ourselves why we hadn't thought of eating a burger there before the cinema :D The food was great! The portions are huge, the burgers are juicy and tasty - leaving every burger fan satisfied. The service guys deserve special mention. You really did a damn good job and it was clear that you really enjoyed your work despite the full shop and therefore stressful situations. Thank you for this great evening and for the good food :) Keep it up! We'll be back :)

Great diner with very tasty food. It's a shame that sitting outside is a bit busy because of the moviegoers and the street. But all in all, absolutely worth a visit.

We went to the cinema and then had something to eat. Since it was midweek and quite early, we had no problem getting a seat outside. The menu is very diverse and there is something for everyone. It was super tasty and everything was very fresh. Service was good and quite quick. Conclusion: We would love to come back.

Pleasant restaurant that is directly connected to the dream palace, there was a lot going on, so everything took a while, but in a pleasant setting. Ambiance is good but not outstanding. Vegetarian burger could be better, fries and salad are very good.

We had something to eat before our visit to the cinema. I decided on a Balkan Burger. Unfortunately the burger was cold and tasteless. The patty from the burger was also very thin and dry, too many red onions and not enough of the rest. Price performance not acceptable. My ginger ale was also non-carbonated. The service was okay, but you always had to call someone and wait.

The salmon was cooked to perfection.

Unfortunately UNDERGROUND!!! Service: A person arrived late and was promptly ignored several times at the table by the service staff. He wasn't asked if he wanted anything to eat or drink and he was there for an impressive 1.5 hours and he made his presence known several times. To order a coffee I had to make myself known several times, almost forcing myself to do so. Yesterday I noticed 4 or 5 service staff. The location was well attended, but the coordinates were a catastrophe given the number of staff and incredibly hectic. Bad division. Unprofessional. Food: One person threw up for an entire night because of their burger. Luckily everyone else only had salads and potato products. Ambiance: What's the use of a nice ambience if the rest is literally sickening. Very very very disappointed.

Short summary: 🍔 Damn delicious! 🍔 Great ambience and atmosphere 🍔 The service is awesome! 🍔 Definitely always happy! We decided at very short notice to go out to eat and after a lot of back and forth we decided on the Metropolitan in Leonberg. The reservation via the website was easy, although I still don't know whether it actually arrived because we had free choice of seats when we arrived. The decor is based on a diner, everything was appealing and took us on a little vacation. For food there was a finger food platter with chicken wings, chicken nuggets, onion rings (so good! 😍), fries and much more - and we would have had enough with that. However, we were so hungry when we ordered that we each had a burger as our main course (actually, in this case, dessert 😂). The entire meal was on point, super tasty and highly recommended! What was funny was that we were able to continue watching the European Championships while we ate because TVs were hung in every direction. We and some other guests thought it was great ☺️ Otherwise: milkshakes (yes, we really filled our bellies O.o) are great! Parking in the parking garage costs money, but is possible right around the corner. Since this was our first visit to the dream palace (where the restaurant is located), we can't say anything about the remaining parking options. We'll definitely be back and are already looking forward to it ☺️😍🍔

No one came to serve us, we had to go to the bartender ourselves and ask for drinks, he did it quickly and without any problems, even when we got the drinks no one came and no one paid either, conclusion that you probably won't go there if you don't have any have time

A wide selection of burgers with side dishes, the highlight is the upgrade to Double or Impossible for the burgers.

Hmm. Unfortunately not as good as expected. The burgers can be eaten, but unfortunately the quality and taste are disappointing. The dip could use some spice and the fries and potato wedges taste a lot like stale fat. The cocktail was so sweet that Spezi tasted like water in contrast. A pity! We got a table at 6 p.m. without any problems (Saturday). After that it got really crowded. But the service is very nice and makes an effort.

I had the Meteopolitan Burger with wild potatoes. As always, it was very tasty. The service staff was very friendly. The online reservation worked.

We had made a reservation for two people before we went to the cinema, which I strongly recommend, especially on the weekend. The service was very friendly, showed us our place and took the drinks quickly. The ambience has something of a train station hall, as it is very large, but the furnishings are reminiscent of a diner. Our burgers tasted good, but not the highlight. It lacked a little spice. For me, spicy means spicy. The salad was fresh and the wedges tasted good, the dip could have used some spice. But I would always come back before going to the cinema because the service is friendly and the food is fresh.

Selection is great. In terms of taste, I can recommend the ribs, the salads and the baked potato + side dish. I haven't had any burgers yet, but they look pretty good/tasty. The pizzas have been okay so far. The price is also okay, no exorbitant prices.
